I highly recommend Zenoti for anyone looking for an EMR system that is with the times, user-friendly and robust.

Pros

Working with the Zenoti has been a really great experience! They have been flexible with their time throughout the setup process and how to we were able to work through our launch--during a busy holiday season! Our Implementation manager was great and helped us work through the data with a fine tooth comb as we transitioned from our old system.

Cons

Some constructive feedback is that it would be helpful if Zenoti's team allowed for more time with the implementation team once launching. After go-live, they offer a 2-week window with daily check-ins and standby access with the implementation manager. It took some time using the new system to identify areas that required more attention or development. But what I would say is that while their structure may not be setup for the additional support, my Implementation manager \[sensitive content hidden\] made/continues to make the effort to stay connected and follow through on open items.

Absolutely worth the switch. We opted for a full migration package and the team was super helpful. There is no way I would be doing all of this myself. Our staff is enjoying the platform and learning as we go! Some quirks here and there but there has yet to be a platform that handles our offerings as cohesively as Zenoti.

Pros

We have loved that it is completely customizable. It is very feature heavy, and considerations have been given to almost every scenario due to the multiple clients on the platform and time in business. Much has already been thought through and there are solutions for 99% of what I needed in my business. I love the way we can categorize services into primary & secondary types for public display on our booking link. This helps new and existing clients find our services with ease. There are some pretty simple things that they offer that I didn't get with my old platform that I am loving. Electronic & redeemable gift cards online. A referral program with each client having an auto-generated unique code to share. Prompting for tips on select services with a provider but withholding on others. Multiple & automated waivers/forms based on appointment type. etc. Like I mentioned, these are all pretty standard but were features that were missing on my old platform. The migration of all my data, including payment tokens, forms, etc. was pretty impressive also. We have a ton of data, and I believe we will get it all to transfer. Having a dedicated account manager and migration specialist was crucial and they did a great job for us! Thanks \[sensitive content hidden\]! Also, the platform has a little AI bot chat feature that is actually pretty solid.

Cons

At first, the quantity of features was a bit overwhelming. There are just so many things you can do and its easy to get lost in the sauce early on. That slowly resolves itself overtime and becomes more of a perk than a hinderance. I also wish that they had a direct phone line for their support team. Maybe they do but so far I have been chatting through the AI bot, then if I don't find an answer, it will give an option to connect to an agent, but it usually isn't very fast that someone connects. Once they do, they have been helpful with screenshots and have even sent links for a video call when needed.

Cons

Sometimes it was difficult to understand things like terminology. I wish the data transfer process was smoother...but that is also on part of the EMR system we are leaving.

Overall it seems like Zenoti "should" be a great platform. It has tons of bells and whistles that would make it an ideal platform and I'm sure it has far more capability beyond the pretty basic level of use that my role utilizes it for. However, I personally would be a bit hesitant to recommend it and would likely not use it myself if I ran a full service spa. With as glitchy and unpredictable even the basic functions seem to be I would be nervous to even try utilizing some of the more complex features.

Pros

I've used Zenoti for a couple months at the spa where I work. It's nice to be able to use the desktop version when at work and still be able to see my client schedule and client forms on the mobile app from home. There are also a lot of features that make it clear and easy to use, and to customize different codes or icons so that with just a quick glance I can see if I client is new, is an existing member, and some of the specifics for their service booking.

Cons

There seems to be some issues with integration between the desktop version and the mobile version. When at the spa on the desktop which is hard wired to internal servers within the location, on sporadically for random clients I'm not able to load the profile information, yet for the same client/appointent I am able to open it from a mobile device that is on the same server wifi. The GM has reviewed all of the permission settings as well as contacted our customer support and there doesn't seem to be a consistent reason or "fix". Additionally the mobile app is really glitchy both from my home wifi and on the spa wifi connection. The screen windows sometimes come up out of view, for example when opening my client schedule for the day only 1/4 of the schedule "window" is viewable to the far right of my screen and the rest is cut off with no ability to scroll or swipe over. Usually after I switch calendar/schedule layout views a couple times then it will come up like it's supposed to. Also, the mobile app takes a really long time to process when trying to open client profiles and forms which is very frustrating when on a tight client schedule.

Overall, our experience has been good. The system was challenging to adjust to in the beginning, but once we learned it, it became more manageable. The biggest downside was the learning curve. Coming from our previous software, Zenoti felt tricky at first and took time to understand. Some workflows feel less intuitive, and it required extra training before our team felt fully comfortable

The navigation may feel challenging at first if you’re not very tech-savvy, but once you get used to it, it becomes easy and enjoyable to use!

Pros

All-in-one solution! Our CSM, \[sensitive content hidden\], has truly set our business up for success. He’s incredibly responsive and always keeps us on track. There are plenty of perks, and while there’s a good amount of computer work, the level of customization makes it all worthwhile!

Cons

Navigation can be a challenge if you are not computer-savvy, but once you get the hang of it, it's great!

Appt. managagment, value for money, very easy to use. Customer support was wonderful. We were able to set up daily zoom meetings to get help.

Overall the product will help with customer engagement and help staff with retaining clients. The integrated zoom, email, and texting features are extremely beneficial.

Pros

The onboarding team was amazing and helped to taylor the system to meet our specific needs. The training options were valuable.

Cons

The product is more expensive than other options and does not offer some basic reporting options. There is no option for creating your own reports.

I would never recommend this system to anyone. They make you feel super important when you start with them, however, that quickly goes down hill once you are "all set up" in their eyes.

Pros

It has more depth communications, texting msging, auto emails, I like all this. But it is terrible to get all set up.

Cons

Zenoti is probably the worse software for medispas. They don't tell you about the tremendous 4 month introductory to their system and how indepth the integration is. They have terrible customer service who never replies. I had a on boarding team, that team knew less than me about their own system. I would test certain aspects they said would not work, only to find out they work. Not to mention, their system is constantly glitching. I had major double bookings when I first came on with them, which was a simple change I had to figure out by myself over weeks, they could not figure it out. I am fully integrated with them now, but had I know all this, I would have never taken the leap. The worse software by far. Being full integrated, I also can never get a hold of customer service. It is a critical change, HOURS to reply. Plus, you don't have full access to the software, there are so many changes you cannot make yourself. The price is astronomical for a system that hardly works. You cant just make changes to invoices, you have to do 15 steps, to get the one you wanted. I was promised this would be better, faster, easier to use. Don't believe this. I wish I would have read all the reviews first

We recently transitioned from Square to Zenoti, as our medispa required a more robust and comprehensive platform to support our growing needs. He was incredibly patient, thorough in his explanations, and went above and beyond to ensure our team was fully prepared to go live. Cons

What we liked less was the complexity of the program at first—it was a significant adjustment coming from Square. Zenoti is a much more advanced system, and it took some time for our team to adapt. However, this adaptation period also highlighted just how powerful the platform truly is. With the right training and support, especially for our providers, we’ve come to appreciate the depth and flexibility Zenoti offers. It’s clear that this system will equip us with the tools we need to operate efficiently and grow our medispa practice.

Pros

The Zenoti onboarding tech team far exceeded expectations! Top notch! Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and quick. Migration of data was seamless and the tech team walked us through everything while staying with us the first couple of weeks to answer questions or help solve problems. Couldn't be more pleased!

Cons

No dislikes at all! The learning curve can be a beast to navigate but with their 24/7 tech support, live webinars, and education videos it doesn't take long to become proficient!

So far my experience with Zenoti has been fantastic. This system has all the bells and whistles! If you want to take your business to the next level - Zenoti would be the best way to go! Zenoti has so many moving parts so be patient with learning all the pieces. It takes time to learn it all. It will be worth it! The technology is light years beyond so many of the other systems I researched. I am very happy I went with them.

Pros

The staff support has been top notch! \[sensitive content hidden\] has been so amazing! He has gone above and beyond to help me figure this system out. Patience of a saint! This is the most advanced scheduling system I found for my growing business. I know it will help my keep business growing but at a much faster rate because of the ease and user friendliness for our clients.

Cons

It is a pretty advanced system so it takes time to learn it all. There is lots to learn! I am not techie by any means and I am getting the hang of it. Create the time to learn all the amazing things this system offers.

Overall, my experience with Zenoti has been great. I have found the Zenoti team to be very patient as we onboard and learn how to navigate through all that is offered.

Pros

All-in-one solution for scheduling, marketing, billing, and inventory.

Cons

Zenoti offers so much, it can sometimes be overwhelming and hard to remember where to find things, but the help chat is a great resource. There is also Zenoti University and opportunities to attend webinars.

So far so good! Just spending a lot of time trying to learn the system as quickly as I can so I can make it work for us better.

Pros

This system is very powerful and there are a lot of great things we can implement to help run our business efficiently. Also, the training documents are great! Also, our on-boarding team has been very responsive. \[sensitive content hidden\] has helped us so much!

Cons

It's a lot to learn all at once. So not necessarily a bad thing, but if you're coming from another system that's very basic, this can feel overwhelming. Just like with anything, the more I use it and dig into the system, the more comfortable I feel with it.

Comprehensive solution for my aesthetic practice electronic health record. Many EHRs for med spas require multiple supporting platforms, Zenoti has everything in one place.

Cons

The system is so comprehensive that it is difficult to learn, I am starting to understand most of the tasks I will need as an owner and provider, but there is a steep learning curve.

Sometimes sending links for self services is difficult to navigate. Some of the step by step broke down directions are hard to follow but if i ask additional questions i usually get answers quickly

The onboarding help made a big difference. The Zenoti team, with \[sensitive content hidden\] was very supportive and helpful. They work hard to get us set up and running. I am grateful for their help

Pros

Zenoti does it all. The QuickBooks and payroll integration has been a time saver for us. Using Zenoti helped us scale fast.

Cons

Limit the number of clicks. Getting around in the program needs to be more seamless. The app can be improved. There are some limitations there.

Once everything is set up Zenoti works very well and makes both booking appointments easy for both staff members and for customers.

Pros

I love how customers can book services and consultations from home. A great all in one platform for bookings, inventory management and reporting.

Cons

Complex interface: Because Zenoti offers a wide range of features, new users (especially smaller teams) may find it overwhelming at first. Training is needed at the start.

Good support team and functionality. API connections are vast and custom workflows exist. Would recommend.

Cons

Can be slightly costly for a smaller clinic. Sometimes the platform can glitch since you are handling a CRM and POS under one platfomr

Zenoti has multiple benefits. Once you get passed all the technical work that goes behind creating a service or making sure boxes are checked, Zenoti offers a lot of marketing, communications, and opportunities for a business.

Pros

I appreciate the patience \[sensitive content hidden\] had with me during the hypercare weeks. It was a huge transition into Zenoti for myself and Amaraah Haus, but they answer every question and extended further assistance if they didn't have an answer right away. Thank you!

Cons

Zenoti is a load to take in. It's something not easily transferable to employees and requires a lot of attention to train coworkers.

Pros

It got the job done. But wasn’t thrilled about using this service from a spa industry

Cons

The design wasn’t very accessible and the user experience needed a lot of work
