### "Zenoti is the way forward"

One of the key strengths is the relationship management. We had been with our previous software for 6 years, so a change was a big deal for us. threw all hands on deck to help us migrate and train our staff without any hitches. Where we did have questions we had dedicated managers at Zenoti we could call or online chat with to get solutions fast. That relationship has continued where we are now being further trained by our account manager to help us make sure we are making the most of new features on Zenoti, and they have actively asked for feedback and advice on how they can improve and have actively made those improvements for us.

Pros

It is a full service solution. It's cloud based and integrated multi-site information, so as the business-owner you can dial in anywhere and look at group or individual store performance. It cuts out the need for additional add-on products by doing reporting, marketing, bookings, analytics, etc. from one solution.

Cons

Nothing major. It has ticked all the boxes, if anything we are underutilising it because the software is so diverse and it's hard to learn all the benefits at one time.

Reason for choosing ZENOTI

offered the best solution for our needs, and we found them to be the most personable, wanting a two-way relationship with them really valuing us as a partner.

### "Review by a Supercuts Owner"

Despite the significant increase in price, service and support provided has always been very good and overall have been very satisfied with SuperSalon

Pros

Technical support is and always has been excellent. Technical agents are always very helpful and see issues through to completion and satisfaction. For instance Tech Agent \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], stayed on phone for nearly 1.5 hours staying after his shift for almost 30 minutes to go above and beyond to help complete and resolve issues.

Cons

Just increased monthly cost by almost 3X (unaware of the corporate politics but fairly sure that this increase was the result of pressure/mandate from outside influences)

Reason for choosing ZENOTI

SuperSalon was initially the only option for our franchise as it was mandated by the franchisor. Despite the mandate, SuperSalon has been a a good partner over the years and the service provided has been excellent and the price has been reasonable. Initially I didn't initially have a choice in the application so really don't have any comparison to alternative products. Since this inception, my franchisor has developed their own internal system which they're trying to push to all franchisees, which has most likely led to SuperSalon's unreasonable price increase which will probably result in my decision to ultimately leave SuperSalon for a less proven solution.

### "Possible the worst user experience salon software on the market"

Overall, the only reason we are sticking to is the time we have already invested in implementing it. But if it can't perfect the fundamental features like an extremely smooth online booking flow that works 100% of the time, I believe we'll move on to something better sooner rather than later.

What's bad about is a long list from our experience so far. The data migration process and onboarding was less than ideal as crucial data like appointment start time, services and total cost were 90% wrong. The onboarding team had the chance to fix it but they still got it wrong so we took the matter to our own hand and spent half a day manually fixing the data. They were also less than enthusiastic about implementing additional requests which were critical for our business, so we mostly did it by ourselves. The user experience is horrific to say the least. It's extremely complicated, made more difficulty by the fact that it was made with, what felt like, very little empathy for both the administrator and the end user. Simple changes to the webstore takes too many steps and it's hard to find my way around the configuration of our store. It took awhile but we figured it out.The Zenoti mobile experience for our staff was frustrating as it was much less intuitive and more clunky and some previous softwares we used. Our clients constantly complain to us how it was much more difficult for them to book an appointment online. It's basic issues ie. webstore doesn't redirect a user to the booking confirmation page after creating an account, resulting them having to go through the entire booking flow again - but the slot is reserved for 5 minutes so they can't book it until 5 minutes later (this has happened 4 times this week - that we know of).

### "A completely miserable experience"

took months for our people to implement. That was bad enough, but worst of all is how difficult it is to remove Zenoti and transfer your client info to another company. Zenoti uses polite language, yes. But bottom line is that it will take forever and you most likely will not understand what they want. We're transferring to Stripe for payments on the new system and Zenoti acts like they've never heard of them. It's an impossible situation that added 2 - 3 weeks onto our change in systems and a new website. I would not recommend Zenoti to anyone under any circumstances.

Pros

The features that we became aware of during the initial sales process were terrific. Using those features in real life is not as easy as they make it sound.

Cons

is clunky. The reporting function is antiquated. Our actual support person is quite good -- but going beyond that, it's impossible. It feels like Zenoti is ancient software that continues to be cobbled together with zip ties and super-glue. If you enjoyed working with Microsoft products about 15 years ago, you may very well like their interface. We are transferring over to a new product – Arketa – and it's a remarkable improvement. The interface is simple and modern. Uploads are flawless.

The lack of video training for owners and administrators. University is amazing and I am hoping they continue to grow this concept.

The appointment book is easy to customize and create what you need for your own business. You can color coat things and it has easy booking

Cons

The integration team was awful. It was like everything they told us about in the meeting about was not true or a spin of the truth. The reports are advanced but in a bad way. Yes you can customize things but its so complicated and no reports match and they just say "don't compare them" When you are running a small business you have to be able to calculate all your numbers correctly. we have spent HOURS WEEKS MONTHS trying to figure out our numbers. They were also just not very helpful with questions right away it was kind of like here it is go on your way. Then when we did have questions no one knew the answers

It is a beast to maneuver. If you like to micromanage and know coding then this may be the software for you. It has been almost a year and we still have to constantly figure how to input or find information.

Pros

I liked their potential. They have some very helpful people on their teams.

Cons

Everything takes multiple steps. It is not user friendly. Transfer of information was wrong and had to be fixed multiple times. An arbitrary date was placed on all MB gift cards that were transferred over and was never fixed. Their Smart Bot never really worked for us. The software, for us, was very arduous to use.

Overall, I am pleased with our decision to utilize . It is by far the most advanced software I have found from a reporting and financial standpoint as well as infinite customization. That customization definitely comes at a time cost in terms of setup, but I think will be well worth it in the end.

Pros

is a pretty powerful piece of software that met all of our expectations and needs from an operations and accounting standpoint - and then some. We are still in the very early stages so are still learning to use some of the features and functionality - but I will say that I have been part of several software onboardings/rollouts with EMRs/practice management solutions, and I can genuinely say that I have not experienced a more helpful, prompt, and just all around wonderful team than the one we had with Zenoti. \[sensitive content hidden\] and \[sensitive content hidden\] were amazingly responsive and had great questions and feedback that helped us set the system up the way we needed.

Cons

While really excels in reporting and customization options, there are some aspects of the clinical usage that could be a bit more robust, and I would love to see an integration with Alle or other rewards programs! It's also not the most intuitive system to use/learn - but I have not worked with any software that has as many guides as Zenoti that show step by step how to do something. They also have weekly in-person trainings and Q+A for all users, I have attended one so far and found it incredibly helpful. So training and guidance is readily available after onboarding, which really helps with the less intuitive aspects.

### "Good experience with switch to Zenoti""

Booking rooms and technology so we can be the most efficient and constantly have availability for booking. The text message marketing has also increased our marketing efficacy.

Pros

It provided a great solution to our issue of a growing clinic. The features have made our payroll, reporting, booking of treatment rooms and equipment much easier. We also love their marketing platform!

Cons

It was a very tedious process to switch from our original system due to our large clientele, retail inventory, etc. We have learned a lot along the way to make the system work the best for us.

### "Excellent service during implementation"

Pros

is an excellent software with the best features we have seen across all software options for Medical Aesthetics clinics. It is user friendly and quick to pick up for clinic employees. The integration process is fairly involved, but we had an excellent team that put in extremely high effort to assist us leading up to integration and for the Go Live of the system. They provided us with round the clock support and ensured our system was set up correctly during the first week using Zenoti.

Cons

While the integration process is very smooth, the trickiest part has been after the Go Live period. There is a significant decrease in the amount of support you have while your team(s) are still learning the software.

### "Lots of effort for set up team"

I would say we are getting past the initial frustration of implementation with the software and now it seems many of the functions are great use. I enjoy using the software and feel that with time we will be able to accomplish more with a small amount of effort.

Pros

Once deployed our team was able to use the system in its most basic needs for our company instantly. Once we switched over many of the functions made it easy for them to go from University to taking real clients day in and day out. And for any company that is most important.

Cons

It is so robust that setting this system up correctly is a daunting task that seemed near impossible at some points. We struggled with our small staff to get plugged in while maintaining our normal operations in our day to day work. Many of the tasks have to be handled by our staff and that lead to over working and frustrating moments for the team.

It was by far the greatest outcome and transition I have experienced. I have worked in Healthcare for 10 years I have been through many systems changes and I can't say enough about the entire process .

The support and amount of concern development had to make the system unique and different than the last with the ability to create a smooth transition

Cons I felt the support chat provided my owners information that was inaccurate and made it harder on me during lauch as they were speaking and giving feedback that was not in their ability.

The team has been great, and helped walk us through the entire process.

Pros

We recently brought on for our new venture into the MedSpa business. Immediately we knew we needed a EMR software that was compatible to allow for multiple users and multiple specialties (since we were trying to marry this with our existing plastic surgery practice). \[sensitive content hidden\] was initially in charge of the signup process, then for onboarding and the buildout we were assigned to work with \[sensitive content hidden\]. They utilize a dashboard called Basecamp and assigned our office staff with daily/weekly to do's which helped keep everything in order and on a timeline. We have now been using the software for approximately 2 weeks and were still working out the kinks but can already tell how much more organized this will help us be in the office. Thank you ladies for the support and gentle pushes to get this done! We are so happy to have found a company that is so hands on and truly walks you through the process. Thank you all for your time and continued support!

Reporting is number one for me as I am the accountant. Using the reporting system has cut down the amount of time needed to gather critical information.

So far I have nothing to report. We have been up and running for a few months now and as the accountant for the spa, I can not report on the daily functionality.

Pros

The online & desktop booking is clean; employee app; ability to configure many different types of marketing programs; can grow with you; moderate level of customization

Cons

It is SO complicated; there are a lot of steps for seemingly simple tasks; use of the support messenger is necessary to navigate it but it can be challenging getting the support you need as the team is based in India and there is varying levels of expertise among the team. That said, if things go poorly enough they assign you a Customer Success Manager who serves as a point person and ours is EXTREMELY helpful. Had we not received someone we may have switched systems but it's perfectly manageable with his support.

has shown itself to be an innovative booking and capture technology for us, with industry leaders backing them all the way. In the Medical Aesthetics industry there are a lot of system to choose from. We went with Zenoti based on the combined features, integrations, and familiarity our staff had with it. From large to small companies alike. With a myriad of integrations, and widely supportive team, we were pleasantly surprised by how easy our import and integration was from our old POS/EMR system. It was also nice to work with a locally operated company. From inventory, sales, marketing, and documentation, we find so much ease in our work flow. They also take feedback seriously, and even after our implementation took on large coding projects in their software that improved their systems based on customer input. We have always had great experiences with their customer service, account managers, or any part of their team!

Certain niche things - like not being able to limit things on the webstore for a specific provider

Been using this software for over 4 years, it is consistent and supports most operations of the salon. Interacted with many members of the and they are always forthcoming with solutions and ideas. We now use Zenoti as the core software and integrating with other software to compliment and support the day to day functions of different departments.

Pros

\- Real Time - Easy access & navigation - Setup and implementation is quick - Support and troubleshooting is quick - Mailer on regular updates, testimonials and industry best practices

Cons

Chat support on complex scenarios/ requirements. Sometimes it takes the whole day. Its easier to discuss complex requirements over the phone.
