Pros

I had anxiety about switching because of the potential impact it would have on my business, but in hindsight so glad I finally did. I was not happy with my former vendor and hadn't been for quite some time.

Pros

Thorough features, like multiple pricing on single service.. , they have localised customer services in my country that able to help with queries. They have evolved much since the day i first use this software (2015), so new features being introduced often, and i believe in the team to keep improving.

Cons

The lack of feature to self download & upload data entries to the system. Reconciliation of daily transaction is a pain if there are more than one EDC terminals, because pulled report cannot differentiate card payment to which terminals (it only separates by card type.. i.e. mastercard, visa, debit, others).

Terrible, do not trust with your business. They will over promise & under deliver.

Pros

I do not like or know . 7 months later & we still have not launched due to the lack of communication & support from zenoti.

Cons

There is not real time support & they do not assist you with data transfer.

Reason for choosing ZENOTI

I chose to grow my business but 7 months later, i have not launched & it had cost me astronomical expenses & fee’s & I still am not using the software for my customers. I’m actually paying for both mindbody & zenoti.

### "Robust booking system with lots of features and a steep learning curve"

The onboarding has been fairly complex and time intensive; however, the support staff has been very resourceful and helpful. As we work with the software, it becomes easier to manage. My hope is that will help our business grow and go above and beyond to meet the needs of our clientele.

Pros

meets many of our current needs and then some! The customer support staff is amazing and very responsive. We are pretty new to using this software and each day gets better as we grow more familiar with it.

Cons

Even with all the customization abilities available in - there is no way to customize the theme of the booking software to coordinate with the look and feel of our brand. There is a steep learning curve- but thankfully they provide lots of education in the form of Zenoti University.

### "Game changer!"

Excellent customer service. A good user experience from our guests. It has so much room to grow with us and add features that we are dreaming up. It not only is a good program for clients appointments and POS, it is also fantastic for timesheet documentation and reports for payroll.

Pros

This program can evolve with our needs. It's customizable! I can't even tell you what a breath of fresh air that is from using a pre-packaged program. Never going back!

Cons

It's got so much depth that it has taken me a couple years to really learn what it can do and I'm sure there is so much more. This isn't a bad thing, it's just what I've liked least as it's a learning curve. It's somewhat user friendly but you have to be patient.

### "It’s fine if you have to use it"

Pros

When it works, it is nice to be able to make appts and keep client daya

Cons

The updates always create a whole new set of problems. The tech support takes a very long time to get back with you even when a guest is waiting. There are way too many buttons to click to make a simple appointment (lots of oks and dones). They support claims they can’t fix things or make it work and even will say it never did something that’s it’s always done. Report numbers don’t always match from report to report even when it’s the same data. There are lots of glitches you learn to work around because they won’t fix the problem or admit to one. They’ll blame other software. Not all of the techs are friendly and treat you as if you’re an idiot instead of just helping solve the problem at hand. After awhile you try to diagnose and fix the problem yourself because it’s easier than calling.

### "If you want a reliable system keep searching"

I have been on Super Salon for 2 1/2 years because my Franchise required it. It has been a long journey. There is conflicting data between reports. When we first took over, getting the register to balance was a nightmare as it was very glitchy. It would add the numbers up different every time we put them in. Customer Service is horrific. We are on hold for an hour and a half when we push the prompt that we have someone at the register. If we reach anyone at all you cross your fingers that the person who answers can help. It's common for each person you talk to will tell you something different. Many times my tickets have been escalated with no response so we realized the issue was something we had to live with. Their online booking platform is frequently down costing us an unquantifiable amount of business because the majority of our guests book online. When they show our salon "offline" it also includes a link to search for other salons. Its not bad enough our software doesn't work, they are actively steering our guests somewhere else. When we re-opened from COVID shutdown they reduced hours so we couldn't even reach support during regular business hours. I finally asked to be let out of the last couple of months of my contract because of the negative impact on my business utilizing this platform. I was informed that I would be held responsible for every penny and would be sent to collections if I didn't pay.

Pros

Nothing, really. It was the approved platform with my franchise.

Cons

The platform. Lack of customer service. Unreliable. Inconsistent.

The look and feel of are awesome, all the available options are user-friendly. Their Zenoti University training modules are very good to train the team members. We had a very good experience with the Zenoti team during the integration. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was very helpful and the response was very quick on the queries. Overall, our team members are very happy with the utilization of the software.

Pros

The membership option is super and very easy to create, sale and redemptions. Now, they have provided the option to change the expiry from the guest profile without any hassle.

Cons

Customer feedback should have more options to write in detail.

It was Wednesday before Thanksgiving. So we was slammed when the POS went down. I called the helpline 1st I got a tech that was not much help. I just hung up and called back because I knew i would get a different tech. I got \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and we worked great together. He worked on our POS for hours till we got things figured out and back up running. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] probable saved us 150$. Thank you for you \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]

### "SuperSalon is not ready for a production release"

I am unfamiliar with the competition, but I would strongly recommend anyone to look around and seriously consider all other options first. Even if those options are more expensive. I have wasted a significant portion of my time daily since May 15 (today is June 11) trying to get basic functionality to consistently work. Seriously, I'm being fair, not petty or bitter. THERE ARE SIGNIFICANT ISSUES WITH THE SYSTEM. I wish ProPoint management was more sympathetic to what we're going through and less antagonistic.

Pros

The Tier I / Tier II support personnel are outstanding. They've bent over backwards to try to make a dysfunctional system work. Without them there's no way we'd even have a functional solution.

Cons

Buggy. Features that don't work. Counter-intuitive. Little training. Poorly documented. No QA. Look & feel (design) is from the 1990s. iOffice doesn't mirror functionality , nor the layout (look & feel). KB does not contain information on anything I search for. Can't make global changes. Sync from iOffice corrupts destination salons. Prompting to check the EULA box in iOffice each time is an intentional waste of time. Storing passwords in clear text is a violation of cyber security best practice. Logging into clients systems without their knowledge or approval is another cyber security violation. No consistency (e.g., some menus are alphabetical, some are not). No ability to log into instance remotely (must use iOffice, which has less functionality and is dissimilar). Configuration screens contain options not related to my salon (i.e., shoe shine category), but no way to configure or remove. Some permissions don't work when set to GREEN those permissions must be set to GREY (but no warning, no guidance). No context sensitive help. Scroll wheel doesn't work (must hit up and down buttons). Some options must be cancelled (hit a red X) in order to be enabled; other options are the opposite. Custom help URL but doesn't actually work. I am a PMP, Scrum Master, ITIL Expert, and certified Enterprise Architect (TOGAF) with technical solution experience on three continents. All in all, this is the worst designed solution I've seen in production in three decades.

You have a beautiful dashboard to see appointments for the day/week/month, promo performance, inventory status, revenue and real-time online mentions. Dashboard fully customizable to your preferences. Automation is fabulous. It tracks retail products sold and will send how to use email to cliemt as well as reminder that your product is getting low and sends a promo to come back for another service offering discount. 3 apps one for management, employees and clients/public. Send push notifications, get instant feedback, eliminating a bad review reaching the web. Tracking employee performance for upsell, product usage and any internal metrics you want. Employees can see real-time tips, client reviews, performance between colleagues, status if goals or contests are set by managers but best is they can input client data building profiles to personalize their experience or direct market them. Club members? No problem. Automatically discount or whatever membership provides. Client loyalty options are endless. Thats only half.... will be the number one software in a year. They have a huge infusion of investor cash for 2017 and will be the biggest display front and center at ISPA 2017. I used booker, spa soft and others. Not even close. Zenoti comes to your spa or salon and sets it all up. But what you put into it that determines what you're success becomes.

Overall it has been positive, the extent of learning materials, customer support has been excellent. If I wasn't tech savvy or familiar with other salon software then I do believe it could be more challenging to implement.

Pros

It's breadth and depth of features to help manage and have a comprehensive view of our salons performance and operations along with the ability to customise to our unique needs.

Cons

It's speed in general as well as payment processing - it's slow, despite us having excellent internet speeds. Lag in Zenotipay payouts, daily/24hrs would be preferred from a cash flow perspectiveUI - needs a refresh feels very outdated and not intuitive, hopefully coming soon!

the reporting systems and ease of booking for the clients

the integrations are too high level. We need a proper QBO integration where invoice push through. Its also really difficult to get the system fully functional.

I loved how robust and reliable the system is. It can get complex at times but the customer support is strong and reliable.

Pros

The tracking is impeccable. Where our business had some struggles with tracking things like memberships, packages and commission reports, has made up for that. As well as making our online booking more seamless for our customer, we are still implementing, but it's been a good learning for all of our staff. Our implementation team was amazing, especially \[sensitive content hidden\], who went above and beyond to answer any and all questions we had.

Cons

The implementation took a little longer than expected, but we had a lot of things not in place as a new business. The learning curve with was also a little difficult. The training was good, but I think what really made us learn Zenoti, was diving right in and using the system.

Currently we are using but so many scenarios are coming up that are in day to day practice and figuring out is cumbersome. Hope that helps.

Pros

is a very complex and robust tool, but it is presented as being simple. The trainers that were given were FANTASTIC but did not always understand the scope of our practice. They applied common scenarios when maybe those are not our scenarios (we are not a hair salon for example). Our Project Manager, Janae Morgan, and Product Specialist, Jodie Seymour, were fantastic at doing this and spent countless hours on calls with me to get everything perfect. Having them from the start would have made the data mapping go smoother or have context. Especially as a startup business.

Cons

A site analysis or indepth interview about how we planned to use might have been needed to make sure it was a fit or to determine the best route. So when information is asked for - it is given with one mindset but then presented in another. As an end user we are not Zenoti experts so all the data mapping got very complex. We also didn&#39;t realize we were customizing things along the way that now we have to guard and make sure we are not undoing. I really think an onsite trainer is needed. Upfront they said that was no issue but as we progressed that was the only scenario considered.
