Worst experience with a schedule system. Even with the breaches and all the errors, they refuse to let us out of our contract.

Pros

Absolutely nothing. Everything about this program has been awful. Nothing they promised during the sales call has been true

Cons

The HIPPA breaches. All the glitches in the paperwork. The glitches in the schedule. Tons of typos in the consents they added for us. The list is too long

### "User friendly and great features"

Pros

Zenoti is very user friendly and has so many features. We utilize Zenoti for booking, scheduling, inventory management, reporting, and marketing. It is nice to have a software that can do it all.

Cons

We would love if there was a consultation feature for Zenoti. We currently use TouchMD for our consultations, but if Zenoti had a consultation feature like TouchMD it would be nice to have everything in once place. Overall though, we are very happy with Zenoti.

We have been in business for 20 years, Zenoti has helped us service our clients in a hassle free way that now we no longer have to stress about our POS system and booking platform crashing or having processing issues. Plus Zenoti is always updating their platform to have new features to make our lives easier. Our clients love it, our staff loves it, and our leadership team is so grateful to the Zenoti implementation team for helping us have a stress free booking system!

Pros

The Customer Service is my favorite part of working with Zenoti. This platform is extremely user friendly, but if I ever feel stuck on anything, our account manager and the Zenoti Support Team is very responsive and always has very helpful feedback for us to optimize the use of Zenoti for our business.

Cons

We have had issues with setting up the correct pricing for the couples massages, but the customer support team is always very responsive with helping us work out the back end of setting up services.

We are able to provide great customer service and experience all in one place. We used to have a software for our CRM and then one for Marketing. Now we can do all in one place which is fantastic!

Pros

Zenoti has a ton of features that make their software stand out to others that we looked at and the competitor that we used for 20 years. We love that Zenoti focuses on the client experience and has helped us enhance it by having a loyalty program, texting capabilities, email capabilities, marketing capabilities, an app and more all in one place!

Cons

The hardest part about this software is that their support team is based in India and although someone is always available via their chat, I would like to be able to pick up the phone and get answers to my problems immediately.

### "Awkward and overkill for a small salon business"

We chose to work with Zenoti because they are a local company and allowed us to use the system for free in exchange for helping them adapt the system for small business use. However, the software they provided was too quirky and unstable for us to reliably deploy into our business, and the interface was difficult to use and unattractive. Despite their best efforts to make it work for us, we were sinking too much time into troubleshooting and asking questions about the system, so we had to drop it.

Pros

It seemed extremely feature-rich for large businesses, and very flexible and customizable from the backend by Zenoti. However, it was overwhelming and cumbersome for a small business like ours. We were guinea pigs for a trial run for small business integration, so we got a lot of attention and help from the developers.

Cons

The interface looks dated and unattractive. Also would load with visual glitches on certain browsers. Tremendous amount of features was overwhelming and unnecessary for a small business. POS integration was awkward and unreliable. Despite the fact that we got a lot of attention and help from the developers to try to mold Zenoti to our needs, we ended up spending too much time fighting with the system to the point that it was harming our productivity and we had to switch to something that was more stable and plug-and-play ready.

Zenoti is getting so many new customers migrating from other POS systems in the market that they are a bit overloaded. But they are worth waiting for!

Thought this was going to be a great POS after sitting thru demo however the more I use the less I like. I found it best to only use about 10% of the functionality just because of the bugs and developers/leadership not understanding barber/salon needs.

In IT for 40 years, Poor Design- have to jump around to different areas to complete a task, not well thought out(not from an owners perspective), Poor reports - give too much meaningless data. I'd like to filter on an employee within the Attendance Employee Report but can't, but I have several stupid filters with only 1 choice or having 10 stylist choice?. Too many bugs, Zenoti doesn't test their software before pushing it out to production. They don't take pride in their product

### "Beware of their oversell"

I was lied to at the set up. My set up was not well done. This is an expensive switch both in time, energy and I general much more expensive than the experience of Mind body. I regret daily on switching.

Pros

Zenoti has alot of the same booking features as their competitors. There is really nothing here that stands out. We were sold on features that are still not implemented after two years. A series of lies right from the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. Stripe tip outs, stripe loyalty for franchsie and onward.

Cons

Their inventory module is by far the worst in the industry. Multi store transactions of transfers still is not working. Columns are not customizable. Reporting in general is quite shockingly poor.

### "A Lot to Take In, But Worth It"

Overall the experience has been good. Our company has been in the middle of a giant relocation and build-out. Implementing a new system was naturally a chaotic experience due to our circumstances. I think that is what is impressive - the Zenoti team, namely \[sensitive content hidden\], was incredibly helpful in assisting us and we were able to go live with our system exactly when we hoped. Every time we have run into any kind of question or issue, we are met with prompt assistance.

Pros

The ability to properly track inventory - this was our main reason for changing POS systems. Functionally fantastic and loads of features we were previously lacking.

Cons

There are aspects that are a little clunky as far as administration and client experience goes, and the overall aesthetic leaves a lot to be desired.

We originally went to Boulevard because they promised they could bring us solutions for our inventory. We are an elective IV infusion company and our vitamin cocktails require multiple products to be attached to a service. Unfortunately Boulevard did NOT live up. Their R & D just isn't fast enough for what they promise - even after waiting almost a year, we were still running inventory manually on our own. We witnessed a similar company utilizing Zenoti at a conference in October. They showed us how incredible the inventory aspects were. We contacted Zenoti as soon as we got home and started the process right away.

It’s been great due to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]. Change is hard and he’s really helped us get to the system we need and want. I like the personal touch with our rep.

Pros

\[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]. He’s been Amazing at helping us adjust to the change. I Ike the way it looks and there’s some really easy functions to it. I like the class sign up.

Cons

There’s some things that are fluid with a yoga studio. The inability to change a clients membership between packages, for example is we do a challenge and they have an existing package, I would like to have the ability to set priority in pricing options. So the system will pull from the challenge or the most important one and leave the class passes I also do not like thaT you have to open an invoice to change the date of a memberships. We will our chase a membership say on Friday for a student who took class in a Monday and it’s a lot of steps to do that.

I like the significant amount of "in-house" solutions with Zenoti. Third-party software and vendors are available but Zenoti always has an integrated product that compliments/enhances the client software to create a better experience for my business.

Pros

I love every aspect of this software. Switching allowed me to merge four separate systems used to manage my business. Your training software is top-notch. Your Support team gets five stars out of five. Specifically \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]. I do not know If I would be excited about this platform if she did not assist in the roll-out and implementation of it. She deserves a raise, but do not take her off my account, please!

It has been very positive so far! we are still learning the ins and outs but I have no doubt that it will work great for us. Having the readily available support fro \[sensitive content hidden\] has ensured that our business operations were not interrupted which was very important for us.

Pros

We are still getting familiar with Zenoti but so far all of the functionality far surpasses our previous software. The customer support we have received from \[sensitive content hidden\] has been over and above any other company we have worked with. He has been instrumental in helping us get Zenoti set-up and functional. He responds very quickly and address every issue in a very timely manner. We would have been lost without his exceptional support and I hope he is recognized for his incredible service.

Cons

The migration from Aesthetic Record has been a nightmare but I do realize the issues were on their end so I cannot fault Zenoti for this.

### "Nightmare experience with well-meaning people"

We are able to ring up guests using this software.

Pros

The salesperson was lovely and provided excellent attention during the sales process. After months of surveying the spa software choices, we moved from Booker on the strength of her demos and promises. It was also so refreshing to have a real human to speak with after months of aggravating customer care from our previous software provider. The people at Zenoti are well-meaning and they seem to care.

Cons

I don't want to have to write a bad review because the Zenoti people are good people. But I want, to be honest so other spa/salon founders do not go through the experience we have been through. Running a spa is tricky enough--your software must support and lift you up, not take you and your entire team's morale down. Unfortunately, we have come to the conclusion that Zenoti's customer service is lip service. :( They have promised to work out the bugs in the system, but after months of promises, the bottom line is that there are no results. The promises made by the salesperson were not fulfilled. Even though we paid $3K for the data transfer, we had to hire four of our own team members to transfer over the data and memberships. (They said they would refund us $1500.) The day of going live, Zenoti erroneously triggered 250 emails going out to our members telling them they had a facial the next day. We were flooded with calls and emails from our members as a result. The general consensus within our team is that everything is overcomplicated. It is not an intuitive or seamless process. Payroll is time-consuming and reading the reports--it takes triple the time to go through it all to ensure accuracy. One team member summed it up: "They are like bad boyfriends. Booker was hell, Zenoti is hell. Which hell do you prefer, the simpler one that never talks to you or the hell that's trying to be the Harvard professor?"

It has been approx 8 years I am using Zenoti and in these 8 years I was approached by lots of other Salon software Salesperson,I have tried the Demo version of their Sofware, but Still, in 8 years I cannot find an alternative to ZENOTI This Software is the perfect Billing Solution for every Salon.

I am using Zenoti Since 2013 that time It was named MangemySpa.Before Zenoti we use to do Manual Billing and accounts, after using Zenoti I found that what technology can do for Salons. Zenoti Really helped me to Streamline my Buissness,It has all the tools which a Salon owner needs to Grow his Business. It has been approx 8 years I am using Zenoti and in these 8 years I was approached by lots of other Salon software Salesperson,I have tried the Demo version of their Sofware, but Still, in 8 years I cannot find an alternative to ZENOTI This Software is the perfect Billing Solution for every Salon.

### "Worth the Pain"

The work of exporting data from old programs and restructuring for Zenoti was extensive. However their support team was generally excellent to work with. Almost one year in, we find occasional hiccups but can typically find a solution or workaround.

Pros

After evaluating several medical spa management software programs, I ultimately recommended Zenoti to our team. It covered the widest array of features required in order for them to move from 4-5 separate programs into one single platform.

Cons

There were a few marketing features we would like to be more robust.

Overall, I would say I have had a good experience with Zenoti. The customer support, the responsive dev team, and the broad functionality have been very useful.

Pros

The software does what I need it to do, but the most enjoyable part of being a Zenoti user is the customer support. I have never felt at a loss when I encounter difficulty. The chat feature is always very useful, and the support agents are responsive. Our assigned support agent was absolutely incredible! \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], you're amazing!

Cons

Consistently encountered problematic lag when trying to manipulate my appointment book. The iPad app would also log itself out once a day with no warning at all. This sometimes happened in the middle of running a credit card. Navigating the data and reports can be a pretty onerous chore, and viewing the data (if I found it) was formatted in a difficult way.

Faster more efficient scheduling and rebooking of clients. Easy POS.

Pros

Honestly, coming from 2 other software solutions in other salons, Zenoti has all the things you would expect and some great features you maybe didn't know you needed. But better than anything else, from the salon management side of things, is their insane level of support! Regardless of which SaaS one chooses, there will always be hiccups or struggles or confusion, but the folks at ZENOTI have been so great at walking us thru and solving any issue we have had - in minutes or hours, not days or weeks like the other guys.

Cons

The only real downside is, seemingly, that the software was originally developed for overseas use and proof on concept and flow are set up in a way that is not 100% intuitive for a U.S. based salon. HOWEVER, once you understand some of the terms and "lingo" it makes sense - and they're so easy to work with and helpful, that this learning curve is overcome very quickly.

### "Transitioning to Zenoti has been a wonderful experience!"

Our experience with Zenoti and the implementation team has been incredible. I have had access to someone during the entire transition with quick response times. On the day we went live, our implementation specialist, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] was online with us all day and has since walked us through every question that we have had. I am also impressed with the Zenoti Help Articles!

Pros

I'm most excited about the membership feature. We have been trying to offer memberships to our clients for a long time but never had a software that made it possible!

Cons

Any software transition can be difficult on the users. Despite some of the hiccups during transition, the Zenoti team was there every step of the way to resolve our concerns!

Overall the experience has been wonderful. We worked very closely with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] who was so incredibly helpful and informative. Every time we expressed a concern he listened and most importantly found a timely resolution. Transferring systems is stressful and working with someone like \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] helped us breath a little easier in this hectic time.

Pros

I like the ease of use when it comes to pulling metrics and navigating the appointment book.

Cons

There are a lot of reports and not a lot of videos explaining these reports. As an owner/ spa director it's SO important that we understand the finance side of Zenoti. Where the money is coming in, where it is going and how to properly calculate and keep track. I would love more videos targeted towards leaders and owners to help us better understand the system and how it can be molded to our business.

Pros

Zenoti has proved to be the best business solution we have sought in years. For a business, based across multiple cities, it was difficult to get all the data in one place. Various features & centralized data enable quick analysis & future planning. We are even more organized and employee satisfaction has increased due to the impartial and non biased system. This has created alertness among the staff members, and the chances of any wrong doing have become impossible. Zenoti has enabled us to integrate client data and preferences; as a result we have been able to serve them better. We have been using Zenoti for almost 5+ years now and it has only led to Happy Employees & Happy Customers.!!

Cons

We really miss the Managemyspa manager app. The ZMA isnt that great.! Not satisfied with its working

### "Zenoti Review"

I feel like a lot of our Zenoti set up and troubles have to do with not having consistency in our Zenoti team. I was moved around from team to team and during a really important phase of our business, i wasn't able to get ahold of anyone to help me. I always felt like i didn't know who to reach out to .

Pros

It is comprehensive and has the ability to be used for a number of different businesses. We are a clinic, fitness center and juice bar.

Cons

It isn't the most user friendly and it seemed to have a really long learning curve to learn where to get to what I needed to get to. It also seems like a lot of customizations need to happen in order for us to get what we really need. That is frustrating.
