Pros: The ability to communicate in detail with QBD and QBO. FYI to all who job cost... You CANNOT job cost in QBO. It is not a limitation of BigTime, it is a limitation of QBO. Which is what i mean by my partial experience answer above... (allow more text there).. if onboarding is completed with a premeeting checklist about the firms existing workflow and time management and by someone intimately familiar with the industry that is using BigTime the cons below could be addressed upfront. The team at BigTime were difficult to get a hold of but once they were aware they worked like crazy to get us setup and working in the time frame we had. We moved our QBO file back to QBD (we had to do the testing on our own because the team at BT didn't know why job costing wasn't working in QBO) Once we moved back to QBD the job costing, invoicing, payroll work like a charm inside QBD. Hands down, it is the best integration with QBD of any practice management software out there... We had 2 people who spent 8 months testing many software solutions... most were lacking at least 1 "critical" requirement... Big Time was not. As we become aware and work through things like "terminology" we are becoming more and more confident in the workflow and keeping track of what is due when and who has what and what state the work is in. This is key as we go into tax season but also something we cannot live without on a day to day basis as 95% of our work is recurring on various time schedules. Thank yo

Cons: The wide range of terminology used in the software is confusing and causes errors to be made during implementation. Examples: Start Date and End Date... without these terms being defined you would think that start date is the day the work should begin and that End Date is the DUE DATE. Not so within Big Time. For recurring tasks, Start Date means Due Date in Big Time language. Another example: Completed vs Archived. Completed in most software solutions means that the job is finished or done; and archived means done and sent to storage with no recurrence nor future work is expected. In Big Time the term Archive means Completed or Finished or Done and removes the task from the workflow list and generates the next task in the reccurence. In BigTime the term Completed means something different... still unsure what it means because even when you update a task/project status to "completed" the task remains on the workflow list.

Overall: full integration with our financial software - invaluable... there are many great software solutions out there that do what they do fantastically, however they lack full detailed integration with financial software... not Big Time! BigTime allows you to manage workflow and not miss deadlines. You can quickly reassign work, monitor deadlines, track phone calls/messages, assign tasks, view work in progress, allocate work, and also track all financial functions related to this work inside your financial software. No more having to track accounts receivable and client payments in two systems. After spending 8 months with 2 people trying and testing multiple practice management solutions, Big Time was the best and satisfied all of the "critical" requirements.

The training sessions have been paramount to my success with using the software. Brea rocks!

Pros: Straight forward navigation on all tabs makes all operations easy. I like that all of the administrator functions are kept fairly simple; there are a lot of great ways to customize almost everything, without being overwhelming to learn. Most customizations are nice since you really only need to set them up once, then make small tweaks until everything is just right. The software will be very easy to train new employees to use. I love that it links to Quickbooks; I have so much less leg work than my previous software when it comes to data entry. So far a fairly smooth transition from the previous software.

Cons: While there are a lot of ways to customize the appearance of pages for employees, the invoices are still fairly restrictive. I find it odd that I can't change little things like: justifications (Overall message stuck in the center of the page and I can't indent it lower), and the job name is right justified and continues long names to the next line mid word sometimes; the color or boldness of each text line (ex. I would like the job name bold or larger font and some lines to be in color). I know these changes can be made as a word doc, but then it won't change my template in Big Time.. Second, creating a report to my liking has been very challenging. I need a monthly report for each project manager with an individual detailed overview of each project every month. However, when I have tried to tailor existing reports or make my own I always get an error that my report can't be created. Third, our billing cycle falls mid month and it would be preferable if timesheets and billing could be broken up by custom billing cycle rather than monthly. It's hard to track the cycle with just a weekly timesheet view. It's a change we can work with, but it requires a lot of extra work for the admin to constantly filter in invoicing. Lastly, the character limit on job titles is painfully small. We have a hard time getting all crucial information to fit. It would help dramatically if the job info screen had a place to record the address of the job.

Overall: Ease of use with Quickbooks integrations and lots of customizations for staff

Pros: I have been using BigTime for about 6 months now and could not be happier. In my previous company, I purchased a time tracking software for my employees and bookkeeping and it was a disaster. It didn't integrate with Quickbooks, was cumbersome to use, fouled up our taxes and was extremely expensive. Conversely, BigTime has been a huge breath of fresh air. It integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks, allows me to easily track my time, expenses, and create invoices. I can readily see where I am with project budgets verses time spent and can easily gauge when it is time to bill. I am now a sole proprietor and have to wear all of the hats of the business. Having BigTime has been an indispensable tool in being able to manage the "business" side of the business easily and efficiently. The customer service (specifically through my personal Account Manager) is outstanding. If I ever have a question, he has solved it through timely and knowledgeable feedback or it has been resolved with a quick online chat with support. As you can tell, I can't say enough about this software and am so glad that I found it (and wish I would have found it sooner).

Cons: I honestly can't think of anything that I would change

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are looking for an easy, but robust, time tracking software, BigTime is at the top of the list. Before I purchased, I researched many different options, looking at things like mobile availability, QuickBooks integration, budgeting tools and the ability to manage multiple clients and multiple tasks/phases within each client/project. I "test drove" many software programs and found the hands-on experience with each to be very helpful. You are able to do a trial version of BigTime to see if it works for your needs - something that I highly recommend prior to purchasing any similar product. BigTime had everything I was looking for and more. After using the software through my trial and going back and forth a bit with my Account Manager to discover more of the features of the program, I purchased BigTime confidently and am so glad that I did.

Pros: I like the intuitive interface that generally does not confuse me. I also like that if I have a specific question, I can typically get it answered quickly through the support team.

Cons: 1. I would love to have access to timesheet and expense review through the app on my phone

2. I would love a more hands on 'onboarding' process where someone really walked through the interface with Quickbooks for us as business owners

Pros: BigTime is the easiest timekeeping and expense reporting tool I had so far! Before we just used excel (manual) to track on how many hours a specific employee allocated his or her shift time to a particular project. Since our firm is getting bigger, we can no longer assign just one project to a single person, some have 2 or more projects, and it is hard to account how many billable hours we will be charging to the client, accurately. Bigtime helped us with that. It is also easy for us to synchronize it to QuickBooks. This greatly reduced the time we usually do in manually entering clients, project names or jobs, expense types, and category of labour. Plus the changes or the updates we incorporate in QuickBooks are immediately reflected in BigTime as well.

Cons: What I least like about this is that sometimes when we incorporate the number of hours we allocate in a week, and when we hit submit, it doubles the time we originally provisioned. I don't know where it is coming from, but we already communicated that to their support. It is not always, but it gives us the impression that we need to QC it or be vigilant before submitting. I hope they fix it totally so that we don't need to recheck our submissions anymore and send it as how we typed it.

There are times that the synchronization with Intuit is taking much time, and worst, fails. It is also good if I see more alerts or I get more alerts when someone submits their timesheet.

Overall: BigTime is easy to set-up. Employees submitting their timesheet also likes it rather than the manual input to excel that they are doing because bigtime is a web-based program. The synchronization it has with QuickBooks as well is perfect and strong!

Pros: The user interface is very intuitive and easy to learn

Cons: I cannot display a cumulative invoice total in the budget summary for invoicing (prior billings + current billings).

Overall: After reviewing four options for Time and Expense Tracking software we decided on BigTime for two reasons: Ease of Use and Invoice Templates. The Time and Expense entry for the engineers in our office was intuitive and easy to learn. The mobile app works very well and is used more than we anticipated.

From the administrative aspect the setup is relatively easy and the user interface is easy to follow and understand. I really like how the screens navigate from one to the other and how I can customize what I want to see on each screen. The clicking on the column headings to view the information in varies ways is great.

We create about 50 - 60 invoices each month where the format may vary depending on the client for each one. BigTime does a good job of providing a base of invoice templates with the flexibility customize. The one thing that is really missing from the invoicing option is the ability to display the Total Cumulative Amount Invoiced as of the current invoice (prior amount + current invoice amount). I have requested this change and hopefully it will be added.

The last aspect is customer support. Two training sessions were included in the software subscription. The first one was good for the very basic information, maybe a little too basic. The second session was much more informative that gave us some good practices to use with BigTime (Brea was very knowledgeable in both). The day to day support seems short handed. Most of the time you have to send an email and wait for a response which could take hours or the next day. As a new user that was a little frustrating. I don't necessarily need to talk to someone on the phone but a live chat would be great to get an answer and move on. That is the one area that I would recommend BigTime address.

Overall we are happy with our decision to go with BigTime and I would recommend BigTime to others.

Recommendations to other buyers: Try to staff the LiveChat for customer support. It would really help with quick questions.

Comments: We were switching from an antiquated time & expense software that had reduced technical support to the point where we were almost at a standstill. Big Time was easy to use and set up and we had great support from our account executive from the initial demo all the way through our trial period to quickly getting us set up. Our office has breathed a sigh of relief at having a more nimble and intuitive product to record time & expenses. We were able to quickly set up clients due to the ease of integration from Quickbooks. We love the ability to change reports easily based on what is useful for us and to be able to adjust invoices fairly easily based on what each of our clients like to see. Our staff training has so far been quite minimal as it was easily picked up by everyone. We are in the early stages so we might run into problems later but so far so good. This program also has the flexibility to help us figure payroll overtime with reports rather than having to wrangle the information from an excel type exercise. We have not used this software for any project management type of viewpoint and there are probably better programs out there if that is your mail goal for roughly the same price. However, if you are looking for a time & expense recording, payroll and invoicing program -- especially if Quickbooks integration is also a pro -- then this is a good bet. We have not had to go back to technical support very often as the program is very easy to pick up on. There are lots of options for invoicing looks as well so you will be able to find something that will work for you. There are some quirks or shortcuts that the program uses so please use the set up team and don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand because they are very responsive.

Pros: Ease of Use for time entry and set up Technical Support Mobile App Quickbooks integration for both online and Enterprise version

Cons: There are some quirks to the product as far as knowing where to click to make changes. Minor issue really and is covered by support calls pretty quickly.

At last we could prioritize our client support in proper way

Pros: One of our projects is in support stage.

Team of 15 people is still there on all lines of support.

The deal is that requests from our clients are coming at random moment of time and require from 1 hour to several days to handle.

I feel with BigTime it came to more order. Now we can form kind of backlog of client requests and also track time people spend for their processing. For clients that have series of similar requests, we are able to find past communication history and get all required stakeholders together to sort out things once and forever. From other side, some of clients have paid support contract with us. As they see how each of their requests is priced at the realtime they also prioritize their requests in more smart way.

Cons: I am unable to view most of reports on my mobile phone.

Also there's no way to create shortcuts for the most useful functions that sometimes are hidden deep inside the app.

Overall: It was a good quick option to organize our support team billing.

Pros: This software has really made it possible to track everything in one place and it can easily be customized to fit your type of business and how you operate. The customer service is second to none. The initial training is top notch and they can walk you through everything to help you get set up. They are quick to respond and get you through every problem you encounter along the way. Worth every penny

Cons: 4 stars for "ease of use" is because of the flexibility to handle numerous types of companies the amount of options can be overwhelming but once it's set up correctly and can comprehend the work flow for your company it gets easier to manage changes and additions to your system. Some of the important functions in the system are often small text links hidden at the bottom of the screen and are hard to find especially if you're not used to navigating the system. It would be great if they update these to buttons on the screen in a place that is easier to find.

Overall: Managing our time and invoicing more efficiently and put it into a functioning system and process rather than just using spreadsheets.

BigTime saves me hours of work. My employees are able to input everything with ease.

Pros: BigTime saves me hours of work. My company used to input everything by hand in excel, and now I am able to have my employees enter their own hours. I can pull reports and keep track of all of our projects with ease. I print reports weekly and have Project Managers review them all to make sure we are in line with budgets and our schedules. I am able to have separate tasks under each job and even move hours with ease if needed. Employees submit their time sheets and I have the ability to reject them if needed. I love that employees are also able to access BigTime from home too. If someone is out of the office and I need time sheets, they can log right in and submit them for me to process payroll.

Cons: There are some quirks with closing projects. Once can still show on time tracking, even though it has no open tasks.

Overall: Reporting and ease of access to all of my data.

BigTIme makes time and expense tracking easy.

Pros: The web interface works well and is very intuitive to use. Since it is cloud based you can aceess it from any web browser.

Cons: I would like to be able to have more than one timer running concurrently, but I understand wht this is not allowed.

Regarding your question about running multiple timers at once - the reason for this is straight forward: BigTime timers are not a clock-in/clock-out system, but are tracking your time minute-by-minute, second-by-second, like a stopwatch. If you could run multiple timers at once, then, there's a possibility that you might double-charge some customers, or even accidentally charge "Customer A" for work that was actually done for "Customer B"- and no one wants that. However, it's very easy to switch from one timer to another - just a click!

Pros: BigTime allows users from a variety of backgrounds to connect to the software from various platforms (desktop, laptop, smart phone) to track time per project, to track expenses on a daily basis with electronic submission of receipts, to run reports on time spent, to connect with external accounting software seamlessly.

Cons: the software has some limits on "naming" items that do not always correspond directly to our external software and do not fit within our company culture. (For example: In BigTime, billable means charged to the project, may invoiced or may not invoice. In our company culture, billable means an invoice will be sent for payment to the client.

Overall: Our company is not able to more accurately and completely track time to be charged to a project. Our systems are now more automated and more paperless.

Pros: ease of use, interface

Cons: the tasks section seems like too much information for my firm. we don't use it and it's fine.

Overall: My company has been using BigTime for over a year now. We're a busy office of 25 architects and logging hours and expenses is one of the lesser enjoyable activities of the day. Before we were using Deltek and found their interface too exhausting and burdensome for the team to actually use the software or for me to learn how to use it.

My experience with BigTime has been great so far. The interface is intuitive and has allowed for more accurate data from the team and more efficient administrative processing on my end.

There is the occasional glitch: sometimes I can't export to a spreadsheet but I can export to a word document, sometimes approving expenses doesn't work and I can't figure out why and the mobile app won't upload expenses for only some of the staff, etc. But these aren't the end of the world and response from customer support is always timely, friendly and efficiently solves the problem.

We don't currently use it to its full capabilities, but we hope to soon. In the future, it would be great if BigTime were able to sync with an HR and/or payroll app.

My support rep was very responsive and addressed my concern.

Pros: its easy to use and navigate. Support response quickly. And it's intuitive making it comfortable for all levels to use.

Cons: I don't import to an accounting package and would like to be able to mark time as paid in order to run an unbilled report.

Regarding your issue with being able to run a billed report, I'm afraid that the root of that issue has less to do with what accounting package you're using (or not using) and more to do with your current Big Time package. If you would like to upgrade to our Pro Package, then you would be able to run an unbilled report as soon as you're done invoicing.

Pros: The ease of use and setup, management and flawless connection to QuickBooks to post information and allow us to invoice clients, print and pay expense reports and collect project information in an easy to use project database. Time tracking is a breeze and built in reports allow us to view important information with a few clicks.

Cons: That the BigTime monitor is not a service but it requires an account to be always signed in in order to run. I hope it can be converted to a service that we don't have to worry about.

Overall: Time tracking, expense reports and invoicing all comes out of the same information that is entered in one place: BigTime We use QuickBooks for accounting and the BigTime information flows easily into QuickBooks at a nightly synchronization.

Pros: Timekeeping and tracking are super easy. You can report on most anything and being able to export info is great. The support staff is quick, efficient and friendly.

Cons: A few things take a lot of steps to use effectively - you'll have to enter info, run a report to see the results and then change the info.

Overall: Better project tracking for project managers

Pros: Access online and ability for support team to look at data. Quick set up. Further training available for purchase.

Cons: I would like to work in tables for quicker input. Because it is complex and captures a lot of data, report drafing can be challenging.

Pros: Once you are running it is OK. Our previous bookkeeper had several customized reports that worked well. Good for ease of timesheet.

Cons: I own a small engineering firm. We hired a new bookkeeper and she had questions and needed a bit of training. Nothing out of the ordinary. To get to a human is impossible (please fill out a work ticket with your issue and we will respond to you when we get to it). To talk to a human is impossible. As owner I have called 4 times requesting support. We have repeatedly ask to PAY for support and how this is done-- the email response was Yes. No pricing and no next step. Spoke to service manager who said she would address immediately and that was a week ago with crickets ever since. DO NOT expect any level of human support. Expect support will have to be extracted at an extreme cost of time and effort.

Pros: BigTime saved us from doing biologs, logging out and also the need of us to keep track by ourselves the time we spent for a single project. It is an online application where you can input how many hours did you consume just to create or to lead a single project versus the other projects that you are doing.

BigTime saved me more time in logging in and logging out, and also keeping track with how many hours of work I did for the day.

Cons: What I don't like about BigTime is that sometimes when you submit your timesheet, it creates duplicates times. So instead of just sending 40 hours of work in a week sometimes it gets doubled or tripled.

Overall: If you want to have the confidence in the accuracy of how many hours you bill your client for a certain project or if you want your employees to save time in creating their timesheet, choose BigTime!

Pros: We have been with Big Time for the past 6 years and have recently went from Enterprise to IQ Pro, and we just are so pleased with all the improvements. Brea, the BT consultant has been fantastic in helping us transition. We have had a great response with the support team! she has gone over and beyond in getting our needs met. I needed some customized reports, and she was able to turn around in just a few hours. Overall, we are very pleased and happy to be a part of the BT family.

Cons: The syncing tends to be an issue at times. Once synced, the data tends to not always be correct. We work closely with the Support Team to resolve

Pros: The software offers a great way to keep track of employee projects and PTO time. The reporting feature is extremely helpful in pulling quick data, such as hours worked in a specific range or remaining hours for a project/PTO. Training employees on the software is quick and clean because the software is comprehensible.

Cons: We've struggled with some intricacies that we've asked if modifications can be made. The response was if an area of the software is changed it affects all clients of BT. One example involves invoicing. It is confusing to us why hours entered by an employee are available to invoice even if the hours have not been approved. We have a few admins, so there are different admins approving hours and invoicing.

Pros: It's quick and snappy to use for the most part. It doesn't take me long to fill out my time sheets.

Cons: The interface is antiquated and clunky. When submitting time sheets is asynchronous, but it doesn't communicate well if something is rejected so I often think I've submitted a timesheet only to find out later it has been rejected. From and end-user perspective it's hard to understand and use.

Pros: Bigtime has all the features we need to effectively track and bill time and expenses. The layout has a great look to it. The feature set is full of different controls that allow the administrator to set up the system so that it works well for the team.

Cons: The biggest downfall of the software is the lack of ability to set up finite details on the invoice creation. We have been working with the team at Bigtime, who are great, and have learned that the invoicing section is being revamped and will be out in the next couple of months. With the new invoicing abilities, there will be very few issues with the software

Pros: I like that it is easy, not complicated to set up, and the best is the free chat online feature! I have also emailed for tech support and receive back helpful and quick replies.

Cons: The only cons I come up with are that some of the fields don't allow enough characters. We have a complicated billing process and to get separate engagements that are often very similar, more characters would be helpful.

Overall: We have slowly started to discover all of the wonderful features of Big Time. It is super easy for new employees to learn how to use. It has a chat online feature and that is so nice! No more stumbling through an instruction manual and wasting precious time. I was a previous user of Timeslips software but Bigtime really is super nice! It has great features and for us - is fantastic!

Recommendations to other buyers: My only other advice would be to give it a try! I think its a great legal billing solution!

Pros: We use BigTime in our office in order for us to know how many hours did we allocate for a certain project or for a certain search. Before, we only rely to our end of day report or to our memory, and it is really hard to just rely on that whenever we need to bill the client already.

BigTime helped us resolve that problem by being systematic, orderly, and easy to use.

It is a web-based program so anyone can access it anytime; anywhere. It is easily integrated to quickbooks as well so BigTime is the man in terms of time entry, and client billing.

Cons: What I least like about BigTime is that sometimes it is really hard to submit our time data entries. When we click submit sometimes it duplicates the hour spent we indicated on a certain project so we need to redo it and delete those dual time entry that I think is happening because of some glitches on their back-end unit.

Overall: Overall, BigTime is the best tool that we've used so far in checking our daily time allocation for our numerous projects. It gives us confidence that we are billing our clients accurately, and when we are questioned we can always provide those data to our client.

Pros: We use BigTime in the office in order for us to keep track on the hours of work we dedicated for each client. I am handling different accounts (clients) in my line of business, and in order for us to ensure our client that we are billing them correctly, we track the duration of time we are consuming for each task for a certain client. BigTime is easy to use. It is a web-based platform that enables you to select the project, and put immediately how many hours and minutes you have used in order to complete a certain task for each client.

Cons: Whenever I submit my timesheet in BigTime, sometimes it adds more rows with corresponding hours. You need to be vigilant in submitting your hours because BigTime is not that 100% flawless.

Pros: Easy to understand for the end user and easy to administer. Sync function works as designed and interface has improved with phone app and new version.

Cons: Missing one feature - Let the admins setup and apply Holiday defaults to employee timesheets. This would eliminate a lot of issues that come up every pay period that includes a Holiday .

For example, employees inadvertantly use a regular work code for a Holiday or they manage to use the Holiday code for the entire work week. If it defaulted on the sheets that would eliminate most of this distraction.

Pros: The software is intuitive and easy to learn. The staff hasn't had much difficulty using the software even new staff as they've come on board.

Cons: It would be nice if the Reports section was more flexible and easier to write ad-hoc reports. At this time, I can get what I need by downloading full data and summarizing as I need to in Excel.

Overall: Because of the type of business we represent, we have a variety of working methods and billing methods. With the help of the Support Staff, I've been able to find work arounds for any billing methods not currently covered by the software.

Recommendations to other buyers: I do have a couple of users that have had problems with Clients/Tasks disappearing from their timesheets. But I also believe they often leave their BigTime up and running all the time. When I have them close down and re-open it's like the program has a chance to re-set and that helps.

Comments: Overall, I am very pleased with the features offered by BigTime Premier. Their support staff is completely helpful and has efficiently helped us solve most issues. The overall system has the ability to be customized to our company's unique needs, including many features that other time keeping software seemed to lack (such as overriding custom billing rates per person per project depending on their role). Their robust reporting system also offers very valuable data, though it can take some time for users to acclimate themselves to how the reporting function operates. BigTime Premier continues to evolve and roll out new features, many of which have been very useful to our operations.

Pros: Flexible billing rate system (granular system allows custom rates for specific employees, projects, tasks, or other criteria); Reporting allows for various custom report configurations; Clean interface that is easy for time-entry users

Cons: Reporting is not the most intuitive, especially with different report types offering only certain fields; Permission groups are sometimes dependent on other permissions, occasionally allowing users access to items they should not see in order to be able to access some other features (ie: for users to alter custom bill rates on projects, they also have the ability to alter project information that should only be edited by admins)

Pros: This is an excellent tool for keeping a record of your workflow and time in motion. Super easy to understand and can be accessed even outside the office. Once I forgot to submit my timesheet, but I didn't have to worry since I can send it at home without installing any apps (but just fyi, there is an available app you can install, which is very awesome!)

Cons: There's one or two times that happened, there was a double entry of an activity that I didn't do. I think it was a glitch, but I think they already fixed it. So no more complains.

Overall: Timesheet is super easy to track because of this software! You can input decimal points, you can always go back and edit if you haven't submitted it.

BigTime adds great value to the entire team, saves admins time, and makes admin work easier.

Pros: Simple interface with powerful tools available if you need to get into the details of your project budget management and financials. For months our employees and I tried and installed just about every product out there that was potential based on recommended reviews by others or friends. Either the product was too complicated from the get go or too simple and lacking. The more we tried to learn using the demo's, the more disappointed and frustrated i became.

BigTime had just what we where looking for and the more we we use it, the better WE are at managing our projects and budgets. I say WE because it allows our employees to self-manage there times against our budgets which in turn allow us to anticipate issues before they are problem$.

Cons: That i didn't discover it sooner.

Overall: The support staff was very good at focusing in on our needs and listening patiently as I explained our issues. She was able to provide past experiences with BigTime as an end user which was really useful. I like that she understood how we use our software against Fixed Fee Contracts to manage our budgets and invoicing, which really reassured our discussions on how best to use the software to meet our business needs.

Pros: The time tracking ability is great. We just started using it a month ago, so there's definitely going to be room for improvement and adjustments along the way. We're coming from Quickbooks and an in-house tracking system, so fingers crossed this is a step up.

Cons: Coming from Quickbooks so it's an adjustment. The reporting in BigTime is VERY intricate, sometimes it's overwhelming. Having the ability to customize everything is great, but it didn't give us the comparative reports we were looking for. But our customer service rep was outstanding and did her best to get us the info we needed.

Pros: Solid, dependable system that is clean and easy to use. I have been using the express version for some time now and love it so much I recently upgraded to take full advantage of the tool BigTime offers.

Cons: Reporting. The reporting system is definitely powerful and the pre-built reports are good, but to get what you really want you'll need to spend some time setting up and modifying the reports. So there is definitely some time you'll have to spend there.

Pros: I like using this software because it enables the user to track the minutes/hours that they spent on their task/projects. This is especially applicable for recruiters that handle different projects in a week. What I also like is that you can also access the web on a mobile phone or tablet

Cons: There was a time that once you have submitted the report and review it. They are some glitches with double entries. But it was already been resolved and handled. Nothing serious and cannot be handled.

Pros: BigTime has saved me hours of work. My company used to input everything by hand through excel and now we have all our employees do time sheets through BigTime. It is very easy to use. The reporting and tracking is very helpful. Data entry/recall is great.

Cons: On several occassions while posting timesheets from BigTime to Quickbooks, there have been some unexplainable software glitches. This slows down our progress and we have to contact support. The issue is usually on BigTime's end and we cannot fix it on our own.

Overall: Daily time tracking is much easier to do.

Pros: Syncs in real time and is always up and ready

Cons: The size of the webpage window is not optimized for the resolution of my laptop screen (1380 x 800) and sometimes I have to scroll in order to enter all the information for a project. Sometimes it jumps around and I find that I'm entering data in another project line. Would be best if everything fit in the space of the browser screen size.

Overall: The BigTime software product is relatively easy to use and it is simple to navigate through the projects and track time accurately and efficiently.

Recommendations to other buyers: Sometimes projects didn't sync properly and can't be found in the dropdown search.

Had difficulty merging two customers. Spoke to Sam and once again, he was able get my issue resolved

Pros: Accuracy of data/hours entered each day. Tracking is very good as well. I love the feature where I can enter time and data for other associates in order to keep all records up to date.

Cons: At times it is difficult to bring items over for Quick books. We receive errors and at one point it stated it was brought over but in reality it was not.

Overall: Accuracy easily able to enter data for the most part

Pros: Very easy to use. Love that it integrates with Quickbooks. Support is always quick and knowledgeable. Great for on-the-go time & billing tracking.

Cons: Reports are a little confusing, especially at first but you get used to it and once you are able to create the report yo need you can save the customized report for future use so it's not too bad overall.

Pros: BigTime's layout is simple, making the time tracking software easy to understand and pick up with little guidance or customer support. You can customize data entry by project type and task, and the notes section makes it easy to log your progress.

Cons: BigTime can experience delays or hiccups when deleting projects and notes. If a project's notes are deleted before the time entry, an error message will pop up and automatically reconfigure the cells you are trying to delete. An auto-save function is needed to prevent loss of data when the software times out - which happens often.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're looking for a simple time tracking software that is easy to understand and use, consider BigTime. Also consider, however, the lack of an auto-save feature and a less-than-robust design which may slow down those logging long hours and lengthy projects.

BigTime is a great product for the small company on their way to getting big.

Pros: The thing I like most is the customization available to fit the needs of my work. It allows for flexibility with time sheets, expenses, and invoicing.

Cons: The thing that I like least about this software would be the small glitches that can happen when syncing with QuickBooks. There are rare occasions when some things just don't translate well. They probably happen after small updates to the system. Either way, they are annoying when it is something that normally works. BT is normally good to help me work through these issues though.

Pros: The integration with Quickbooks makes our lives much easier. The support staff is really good too - they always get back in a timely manner. The integrated task timer is a nice feature as well.

Cons: There isn't anything I really dislike about BigTime, but there are some features I wish it had (like automatically creating tasks in new projects)

Pros: Pulling the time tracking into QuickBooks and then creating invoices with the time and what was done for that project. I also love the reports. We can now track our time doing all the extra services for a client and see if we are making enough money or just breaking even.

Cons: At times it is confusing especially the integration with QuickBooks. It is a very in depth program and I feel I have to tackle the whole thing at once. I feel the more information per client the better reports we will get back so it just takes time and a learning curve to get to that .

Overall: The biggest benefit is better invoicing on our services because the time is entered and then integrated into quickbooks.

Pros: That I finally found Customer support representative to help with the software! It's been an absolute nightmare with the transition. I like that at least some of the information from QuickBooks integrates with BigTime.

Cons: Getting help when we needed it. It's not very user friendly. There are a lot more steps to this process. More information needs to be able to integrate from QuickBooks to BigTime and vis a versa. For instance, previous balance in QuickBooks, contact information and also payments made through either QuickBooks or BigTime.

Overall: This initial training with Customer support representative was the first training that made a lot of sense! She was extremely helpful and listened to my questions. I'm excited for the next training seminar with her. I realized all lot of things that I wish we'd had from the beginning. It would have made the transition less stressful, etc. Several times most of us were ready to dump this software but she helped in restoring some confidence. Customer support has been lacking in getting back in a timely manner so I'm hopeful that will change. Customer support from her, initial training was a 10.

Recommendations to other buyers: More information needs to be able to integrate from QuickBooks to BigTime or vis a versa. The contact information in all the correct places and also payments made. Also be able to input previous balances from QuickBooks even though there might not be a current bill for a client yet in BigTime since we are billing out of BigTime. I'm having to spend a lot more time creating invoices from BigTime and then going into QuickBooks to add the previous balances due and print two separate invoices.

Pros: Integration is easy. Support is great. Use is very easy, roll out went very smoothly. Works on phones, tablets, PC. You can start a timer on one device and pause or stop it logged into another device.

Cons: The occasional glitch where the task or work code doesn't save properly. Never ever messes the time up though.

Overall: Great time tracking and job cost tracking.

Pros: Ease of use and prompt service, the invoicing and time tracking is invaluable. Budget monitoring is easy too and the connection to Quickbooks is perfect!

Cons: When I can't fix a problem on my own, it is frustrating and does slow down my productivity but the support by BT is prompt and just have to send an email to get it fixed is easy.
