Pros

Pretty easy to use. I wish I knew more about software, budgeting, and invoicing but had a reporting webinar with Brea today and it was very helpful to start the process of understanding even more what the program can do. Great and easy to use for basic users.

Cons

Administrator definitely should have more knowledge about this type of software to be able to fully implement everything it can do.

Saved time, better reporting

Pros

Cloud based and integrates with Quick Books desktop. Easy for users to begin using with our much support from our back office. Many short videos with instructions on how to use. I like that the invoices are now one document with receipts included if needed to submit to clients. AT a glance you can see how profitable a job. Lots of reporting possibilities, I am new user still learning how to use all the reporting options.

Cons

Setup was a difficult due to no real process suggestions such as step 1 - 10 ect. I hope BT includes for future users more standardized set up process.

### "Moved all other platforms to Bigtime"

We were able to migrate cloud based, stand-alone, expense reporting, timekeeping and project management to one platform

Cons

It,s simplicity, which is its biggest attractions, at times is not as comprehensive as platforms dedicated to only ONE function.

BigTime support has been instrumental in getting our new business off the ground with BigTime as our time tracking, expense tracking and overall cost tracking system.

Pros

I love the ease at which you can make adjustments to submitted timesheets or expense reports. The software is very intuitive.

Cons

It needs to add an option to track costs to projects.

Reason for choosing BigTime

I was not part of the decision in purchasing BigTime, however I am very glad my boss chose them.

### "Loving Big Time"

We have slowly started to discover all of the wonderful features of Big Time. It is super easy for new employees to learn how to use. It has a chat online feature and that is so nice! No more stumbling through an instruction manual and wasting precious time. I was a previous user of Timeslips software but Bigtime really is super nice! It has great features and for us - is fantastic!

Pros

I like that it is easy, not complicated to set up, and the best is the free chat online feature! I have also emailed for tech support and receive back helpful and quick replies.

Cons

The only cons I come up with are that some of the fields don't allow enough characters. We have a complicated billing process and to get separate engagements that are often very similar, more characters would be helpful.

I love that Big Time has the capability of integrating a variety of content that can help us organize systems and better perform.

Cons

I find that the software is not as customize-able as it appeared during our trial period. There are many things we can't do that we were hoping it could . This won't keep us from using the product but it has complicated the process for us.

### "BigTime Meets Unique Timekeeping Needs"

Overall, I am very pleased with the features offered by BigTime Premier. Their support staff is completely helpful and has efficiently helped us solve most issues. The overall system has the ability to be customized to our company's unique needs, including many features that other time keeping software seemed to lack (such as overriding custom billing rates per person per project depending on their role). Their robust reporting system also offers very valuable data, though it can take some time for users to acclimate themselves to how the reporting function operates. BigTime Premier continues to evolve and roll out new features, many of which have been very useful to our operations.

Pros

Flexible billing rate system (granular system allows custom rates for specific employees, projects, tasks, or other criteria); Reporting allows for various custom report configurations; Clean interface that is easy for time-entry users

Cons

Reporting is not the most intuitive, especially with different report types offering only certain fields; Permission groups are sometimes dependent on other permissions, occasionally allowing users access to items they should not see in order to be able to access some other features (ie: for users to alter custom bill rates on projects, they also have the ability to alter project information that should only be edited by admins)

Pros

Ability for project managers to have insight through valuable reports. Integration with quickbooks and salesforce. Interation of invoicing.

Cons

There is no feature for leave accrual. You can only get accounts in increments of 5 and cannot pay per person.

Pros

This system was very easy to implement, gives live view into project health and support is amazing.

Cons

Needs more dashboard options, scheduling is a bit basic and Quickbooks integration has been a bit buggy

Dynamics was too complex, expensive and difficult to implement. BT is more in depth out of the box for a small company and implementation was easy.

Pros

BigTime appears to possess the type of flexibility that our company really needs in order to track our project budgets and time. We're excited to dig in to the capabilities of the software and make our process more efficient. The customer service experience so far has been stellar, from the sales experience with Ty, who was informative and communicative but not pushy, to the onboard session with the executive, who engaged our group well and covered a lot of material in a short amount of time. The customer service experience has been a big draw as it has instilled confidence in the product, which is in itself a bit of an investment for our company not just in terms of money but also in terms of time and resources given to changing over our system.

Cons

We are just getting started with Bigtime, so it's a bit early to say at this point what doesn't work well.

Pros

I have been using BigTime for about 6 months now and could not be happier. In my previous company, I purchased a time tracking software for my employees and bookkeeping and it was a disaster. It didn't integrate with Quickbooks, was cumbersome to use, fouled up our taxes and was extremely expensive. Conversely, BigTime has been a huge breath of fresh air. It integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks, allows me to easily track my time, expenses, and create invoices. I can readily see where I am with project budgets verses time spent and can easily gauge when it is time to bill. I am now a sole proprietor and have to wear all of the hats of the business. Having BigTime has been an indispensable tool in being able to manage the "business" side of the business easily and efficiently. The customer service (specifically through my personal Account Manager) is outstanding. If I ever have a question, he has solved it through timely and knowledgeable feedback or it has been resolved with a quick online chat with support. As you can tell, I can't say enough about this software and am so glad that I found it (and wish I would have found it sooner).

### "Core features have degraded - Buggy updates"

Pros

This product is easy to track time with. When features work, the dashboards and reports are helpful for analysis.

Cons

It is difficult to use reporting because it breaks frequently. This seems to have occurred more often over the last several months than earlier in our time using the product. Customer support acknowledges bugs, but development is slow to correct key features, such as the loss of the ability to export simple reports to Excel. The product seems to over promise and underdeliver a lot of the time. We recently upgraded one of the modules based on meetings with the sales team. Shortly after purchasing, key dashboards suddenly stopped working. Communication could be improved. Customer service has acknowledged being aware of a bug before we reported it, but never let us know. I would value communication regarding the health of the product to help with our planning, rather than the frequent marketing notices.

It’s faster than other in I’ve programs I’ve used in the past. It made it easier than the extra steps of creating invoices in excel or other word doc and accounting software.

Pros

Easy to use invoice and billing software, worked great for a small business I did graphic design work for. I entered my time and it was easier than creating an excel document.

Cons

It was a little tricky to see where to upload receipts at first but figured it out.
