I've used it for years and it provides a easy project management tool for our architectural business.

Pros

easy of use and real time reporting of project financials.

Cons

lack of integration with other collaborative software, especially scheduling and task driven applications like Asana or Smartsheets.

big huge thank you to the support staff for helping me yesterday with my sync agent for QuickBooks. He was very professional and patient!

Pros

Easy for our guys in the field to use, also the ability for them to track their expenses.

Cons

The only issue we have had is with our sync agent for quickbooks

Time to do more work!

Pros

User Friendly, real time data, reports are awesome - The price was upfront no hidden fees, Sales Rep and Implementation Consultant are always help and prompt to get back with you if you have a question or concern.

Cons

If the price was a little lower small companies (10-30) would more likely to sign up

### "Love Big Time"

Brea deserves a trophy for all she does!

Pros

It is so easy to use, I learned it in a day. Our "onboarder," is prompt to respond and has the ability to answer each and every question. It's a very personable group. The UI is clean and simple, and you can customize almost anything.

Cons

Can't do some more granular stuff we need, like weekly (rather than monthly) resource allocations, and there are some necessary workarounds, but it still is going to save us so much time.

Pros

The user friendliness of this software is great. The implementation team is absolutely top notch and made understanding the use of the software simple!

Cons

We have a complex billing structure, so customizing rates, mark-ups, etc was not as easy to accomplish without the help us the implementation team.

We left BigTime and moved to TSheets because of all the issues we had. TSheets is a much better product, especially if you use it with QuickBooks.

Pros

It was very easy for the team to enter their hours either via mobile or computer. Customer service in the beginning was good.

Cons

It stopped syncing with QuickBooks without lots of re-booting of computers and time wasted. Customer service was seriously lacking when we stopped using it. Reps were rude.

Pros

The time tracking ability is great. We just started using it a month ago, so there's definitely going to be room for improvement and adjustments along the way. We're coming from Quickbooks and an in-house tracking system, so fingers crossed this is a step up.

Cons

Coming from Quickbooks so it's an adjustment. The reporting in BigTime is VERY intricate, sometimes it's overwhelming. Having the ability to customize everything is great, but it didn't give us the comparative reports we were looking for. But our customer service rep was outstanding and did her best to get us the info we needed.

I realize at a glance we can see valuable financial information. the ease of creating invoices if allowing for faster payments.

Pros

This software is easy to navigate, and is very user friendly to edit/customize for your companies specific needs

Cons

It takes time to set things up properly, but that is expected.

Pros

Solid, dependable system that is clean and easy to use. I have been using the express version for some time now and love it so much I recently upgraded to take full advantage of the tool BigTime offers.

Cons

Reporting. The reporting system is definitely powerful and the pre-built reports are good, but to get what you really want you'll need to spend some time setting up and modifying the reports. So there is definitely some time you'll have to spend there.

The support staff was very good at focusing in on our needs and listening patiently as I explained our issues. She was able to provide past experiences with BigTime as an end user which was really useful. I like that she understood how we use our software against Fixed Fee Contracts to manage our budgets and invoicing, which really reassured our discussions on how best to use the software to meet our business needs.

Pros

Simple interface with powerful tools available if you need to get into the details of your project budget management and financials. For months our employees and I tried and installed just about every product out there that was potential based on recommended reviews by others or friends. Either the product was too complicated from the get go or too simple and lacking. The more we tried to learn using the demo's, the more disappointed and frustrated i became. BigTime had just what we where looking for and the more we we use it, the better WE are at managing our projects and budgets. I say WE because it allows our employees to self-manage there times against our budgets which in turn allow us to anticipate issues before they are problem$.

Cons

That i didn't discover it sooner.

### "Much better than any industry specific alternatives"

Pros

Bigtime's biggest pro for us is its flexibility. If you have a charge on an invoice that needs to be adjusted but it didn't get fixed during approvals, it's just a couple quick clicks. If you want to attach a brochure advertising a new business offering, it's just a quick click to include it on your invoice, etc. The software can be adapted to fit almost any industry.

Cons

There are a few bugs in the system that rear their head on occasion. The support team has generally been quick to fix these issues when they come up.

We can set up multiple bill rates and labor codes per staff member. This was a feature we lacked in our operations before.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use, and how you can customize most things. The people that work there are also very helpful

Cons

Like every software, I know they can't do everything. 1 request would be to have multiple cost rates per staff member

Pros

The product is cloud-based, easy to use, minimal implementation time and has all of the features we needed to run our projects and billing.

Cons

Some things could be improved to make it quicker to use ie having a link in the path to get somewhere so that you don't have to start over when you've done a search.

Coordinated my billings

Pros

Similar to Quickbooks the software allows you to change what you need changed on the fly. Multiple billing rates, expense tracker and detailed billings look professional.

Cons

Not as intuitive as Quickbooks. Need to take some training to perform simple tasks. Formatting of invoices was cumbersome and confusing. Also not a big fan of monthly billings for use of software.

We were to use the software mainly for our project managers to manage projects, but the timekeeping portion of the software is very limited.

Pros

I needed immediate assistance and was able to Chat with rep very quickly

Cons

Cannot be enough training for all of the options it offers, even creating reports is difficult

I'm still learning how to use it - it's tough right now but think it will get easier once everything is set up and customized.

### "Save Time on Logging Time"

It is pretty painless weekly experience.

Pros

It has a great UI, is intuitive and quick, is semi-customizable (met most needs without requiring any, though), and does what it was built to do very well.

Cons

Logging time, by design, is a monotonous part of every consulting job. It is tedious administrative "extra" work that needs to be done after the 'real' work is completed. So by design I do not enjoy logging time on a weekly basis. That being said, that is not a fault of the product, which accomplishes time keeping and time tracking very well. It is just the "cost of doing business".

Had 3 users on the same account. Had to create 3 seperate accounts. Had an issue with 2 accounts being switched but the issue was resolved.

Pros

Very easy to use, lots of features, good tracking of hours and projects .

Cons

Unnecessary to have a description requirement. The description should be optional.
