Very intuitive for staff to adopt. Much improved invoicing workflow and allows us to consolidate multiple sources of client data into one location. Pros Ease of use for end users Flexibility to adapt to how we do business - not one size fits all Efficient workflow for time, expenses and invoices Cons Still need to add some new functionality (i.e. ability to split expenses across projects). Lack of a single document as a users guide. Knowledge base is good as well as online videos, but would like a separate admin and user guide to provide to staff. May 10, 2017 4.0 Pros The thing I like most is the customization available to fit the needs of my work. It allows for flexibility with time sheets, expenses, and invoicing. Cons The thing that I like least about this software would be the small glitches that can happen when syncing with QuickBooks. There are rare occasions when some things just don't translate well. They probably happen after small updates to the system. Either way, they are annoying when it is something that normally works. BT is normally good to help me work through these issues though. The pricing structure is a challenge as it is a big bill that comes in the slowest time of year for a tax office. I wish there was a way to sign up for a monthly set amount that even auto deducted from a credit card or our bank account. Pros Clean interface, good app, mostly user-friendly, and good support. Tracking is very good as well. I love the feature where I can enter time and data for other associates in order to keep all records up to date. Pros We are just implementing so do not have alot of experience yet. It appears it will streamline our time entry and Invoicing process. It will also help with tracking and reporting on individuals and projects Cons The task and categories setup with them not being dependent was an issue during implementation. We were advised during the sales presentation that this was available but ended up not. The Bigtime team response was excellent to address. Pros 99% of the time, there is someone available in the chat to answers my questions or help me to accomplish a task. Several ways to learn on how to use this software a rich library of videos and written information online. Cons None that I can think now. I'm pretty satisfied with this software and have not heard complaints from my co-workers either. Happy customer. Pros Keeping track of my hours is so much simpler now with the asset of Big Time. There was no learning curve so I could just jump in and start tracking my hours. You can do multiple things from checking your budget against hours applied, run different reports, and my favorite; a timer to use so when interrupted, it is easy to track time really used on a project. They've also assisted me in setting up specific reports that we use. Pros Big Time not only has an exceptionally easy interface for our employees - but their support team is also fantastic and super responsive when/if questions arise. Cons None that I can think of. April 30, 2021 4.0 Overall a good product, but could use some work with more intuitive features and easier hours calculations and access to timesheets. Pros Overall BigTime seems to work well, it’s fairly straightforward as far as how to input and submit my time. Cons I'm a little wary about the time entry as employees can input various numbers that will be hard to gauge. September 25, 2018 5.0 We've saved SO much time, and we can pump out invoices so quickly now at the end of the month! Pros Super easy to log time and expenses both on the desktop, and on the go. Cons It doesn't really work well with Canadian tax rates, so we had to break into the back end and do some reverse engineering to code with our taxes. With the help of the Support Staff, I've been able to find work arounds for any billing methods not currently covered by the software. Pros The software is intuitive and easy to learn. The staff hasn't had much difficulty using the software even new staff as they've come on board. Cons It would be nice if the Reports section was more flexible and easier to write ad-hoc reports. May 3, 2018 5.0 I really love having the ability to watch webinars and speak directly with customer service any time I have a question. Pros BigTime is the easiest method we have found for timekeeping. It is of utmost importance that we accurately track our hours worked per project so we can accurately bill our clients. We also create and send our invoices through BigTime which we can then link to Quickbooks Online. It is seamless and beyond easy! Cons I wish I didn't have to manually sync with Quickbooks Online. Use is very easy, roll out went very smoothly. Works on phones, tablets, PC. You can start a timer on one device and pause or stop it logged into another device.
