Pros

I love that its so easy to use! Its so difficult to change people's ways, but since this is so simple I've had a really good experience! When I have a question about ANYTHING its so easy to hit the chat button and have an expert help pull the right report or even create it for me. Love the accessibility!

Cons

I guess a con would be not finding it sooner!

Pros

I liked it for invoicing some employees. We tried this out to see if it can replace our current invoice software and so far it worked pretty well! I think we will begin to use in the next month or 2 as it seems more simple than our old payroll and invoice software.

Cons

It was easy enough for me but another employee had a little trouble inputting data, but luckily the customer service helped out!

### "Quick solutions to technical issues"

BigTime solves our issues by syncing time into Quickbooks and allows the Architects to effectively manage their projects by tracking resources spent on each one.

Pros

The program is easy to use and easy to sync with Quickbooks which is most important to use. The Architects like the program because it is also easy to use and easy to manage their projects.

I don't have any negative experiences with BigTime

Pros

Integration with QuickBooks and tracking all of our time and expenses up and down the organization.

Cons

I find it extra clunky and not user friendly. I've been using a free version of Toggle for years, and I am shocked at how much more complicated simple timers in Big Time are. For example, how hard would it be to show me the start and stop time when i stopped my timer (an hour ish later than when I was supposed) so that I could easily know how to edit it. Stuff like that all day. Our set-up and integrations with QB have been painful. Multiple emails to our onboarder and now an open case and we still can't match categories between BT and QB even though they "should" line up (i.e. created in both systems).

The software is very intuitive and customizable. It's easy to set up and use and has great customer support.

Cons

Organizing the reports can seem a little daunting as there are so many options for customization. However, once you can outline your goals and play around a bit, it's very doable.

Great control; one stop shop for all project and client data; ease of interface with QB online!

Pros

\-depth of functionality - flexibility in managing different projects which have different metrics for performance and / or different reporting requirements!

Cons

Some simple functions are not easy to find without support; ie: linking tax codes to invoices. Also, being able to see a preview of a pdf invoice before having to generate it and then look at it, would be MUCH more helpful and save a lot of time mucking around with pdf's trying to get formatting correct.

Cons

I get confused sometimes on their terminology, knowing exactly what they mean and how it relates to what I am trying to do.

I like it overall. I think a Chrome extension/Firefox plugin for the timer would be awesome. I currently use Toggl for tracking my time time throughout the day because of that, I then use BT for the actual timesheet.

Pros

I think that the usability of the timesheets is very high, as well as the ability of administrators to go back and adjust entries.

Cons

I think that there are some areas that could be developed a little more, mainly My Company > Project List > Project. I think a standalone section for accessing a project could be helpful, rather than needing to stay on the list. However, I also see a lot of cases where the list is helpful. Maybe a popup window or a separate section that gives the user a larger view of the Project they are working on.

We haven't officially started using it yet. I would like to mention Brannon Hollingsworth Software Implementation Consultant, he has been so very patient and helpful throughout this entire process. I am so glad we have him on our side.

Pros

The fact that you can do almost anything you want - total customization.

Cons

Getting it all set to use. Wish we had a Bigtime person to come to our office and walk us thru setting it up.

The transition from the old software was smoothe. The App is an awesome addition and is very easy to use.

Cons

The capability of the App to log credit card expenses is one of the upgrades we're waiting on. My employees love the app but we can't use it because they can't log their credit card expenses.

Pros

I love that I can log my time or start a timer on my phone to keep up with my billable time on the go. I also love the functionality with Quickbooks Online.

Cons

It can be a little glitchy sometimes on my iPhone but it has gotten better over time. Sometimes the timer won't stop or it will double the time. A little annoying, but not so much that I have considered going elsewhere.

Pros

BigTime gives us a line of sight into our true costs per client and our gross margins. We are able to see what each employee is working on, benchmark how long a task should take, where we have underutilized staff, and which clients are better managed.

Cons

Nothing, our management team loves BigTime!

The support is 5 stars! They have built several custom reports for us to give us the information exactly how we wish to see it. They respond immediately to support requests!

Over all this software works perfectly for any small office. Also any one can easily learned to use this software in just one training season and when I learn how to use this software I had no problems. BigTime would be definitely be a big time saver.

Pros

Installing and having and using this software for both timekeeping and project management has been a big timesaver for me. Being able to look into review and approve timesheets really quickly, and also to keep track of task completion proved to me and this software is exactly what the project managers needed.

Cons

I can only think of this software needs the ability to be able to customize invoices and allow me to to have them how I want them to be.

Now we only have to log into one software instead of one to track our time, one for project scheduling and another for invoicing. It really saves time and makes the day to day work a lot easier.

Pros

My favorite thing about BigTime is being able to do so many things with one program. Being able to track time, monitor project scheduling and invoicing in one place is awesome!

I haven't found anything that I dislike so far

This software simplifies our time and expense tracking. It also makes invoices based on time and materials easy and fast.

Pros

It simplifies a lot of our processes. Our guys are working at multiple client sites per day and it's hard to imagine tracking everyone's time and expenses in another way. I'm pretty impressed with how the software assigns time to invoices, it feels pretty slick.

Cons

Sometimes the software can feel a bit finicky, as in it feels like if you don't do things a particular way then the software or reports might not work quite like you would expect. I'm also getting the impression that this software works best when integrated with QuickBooks, which my company hasn't done yet.

Invoices are more professionally done, time entry easier. I am able to jump right on and ask questions or print off instructions on how to do something in the system, step by step.

Today I was unable to fix a problem by myself no matter how many times I went over and over each field so had to request help which was frustrating.
