Pros

The program is very easy to learn and use. Even our most "seasoned" staff had no problem learning how to use it.

Cons

The reports are different than what I was use to and I have had to experiment some to get the reports that I needed.

Pros

Has been built to handle the flexible and changing needs of time tracking reporting, such as the shift from managerial timesheet review to review by project team leaders. Comprehensive in the sense that time tracking, expenses, reporting are all included. Few packages available do all three.

Cons

The navigation is sometimes a little confusing with windows inside of windows, so not sure where or how to scroll. Also, dialog boxes run off the screen and can't be seen till you scroll up. Would be nice to have the window autoscroll enough to always make the menu choices visible.

I appreciate the intuitiveness and ease of "editing" information. Really like the "export" function as well.

Cons

There is nothing negative about it really. It just takes some time to become proficient with the functionality.

### "Disappointing"

When I subscribed, I made a specific request to be able to start sending out invoices. I am a very small business, that grew quickly, and was very behind in my billing. When the first tutorial began, I asked the presenter if would be able to submit an invoice at the end of the tutorial. They were not aware that was my critical need and proceeded with the tutorial for setting up the background information for the product. I would have to take another tutorial before I could submit an invoice. After the first tutorial, I want back to my old system of invoices....a little clumsy, but effective...I was really disappointed that the tutorial was a canned script, and my request to get an invoice produced on the first tutorial was not provided. I realized Big Time was not flexible in this way. I realized I am too small to have a staff person assigned to managing the software, so I want back to doing the excel spreadsheet.

Pros

Seems ok...the sales people were good....I wish I had the time to learn the system. but I was not able to get an invoice out.

Cons

did not get good initial responce for support. They are probobly good for a medium to large company.

I have never had support from customer service personnel like I do when I need the ones from BigTime. They are ALWAYS professional, understanding, courteous and 100% knowledgeable when dealing with me. I would recommend BT to anyone!

One of the best billing software I know of with Excellent customer service. A few glitches here and there, but overall, if you use it correctly, it works very well.

Cons

The drawbacks are minimal with this software so you won't have too many problems

Pros

Software is great to track all hours spent per day. It shows us what projects we are working on and having the budget tracking helps tremendously. Ease of use and any issues, customer service is within a click of a link.

Cons

I wish there were more options to create our own customized invoice. It is minimal compared to what the pros are but something to improve on.

### "BigTime integration with QuickBooks Premiere Professional Edition, Desktop version"

The budget management and invoicing capabilities in BigTime are powerful and easy to use. While we did invest some time in the initial setup and integration with QuickBooks (as expected) we found the the process to be straight forward. Our employees began entering entering their time and expenses immediately after the initial "On board 1" training session. The web user interface is easy to navigate as is the very useful mobile app. BigTime customer service is outstanding. Our software implementation consultant Brea provided very thorough training and made the implementation process easy for us.

Pros

User interface, budget management capabilities, ease of invoicing.

Time and Expense reporting for employees who work in different sites. Invoicing has simplified our billing system.

Pros

Ease of use for time reporting, expense tracking, invoicing and tracking jobsites. Mobile App.

Cons

Mobile App is very limited and a lot of glitches.

Reason for choosing BigTime

Spring Ahead was limited on tracking specific tasks. They did not offer invoicing or mobile app ability.

Very fast and responsive cloud based solution. Interface is intuitive and also aesthetically pleasing. PRO Version allows a lot of flexibility and granularity on setup by admins, but retains a very simple process for time input by employees. Support has also been great, particularly the onboarding session I opted for as part of my contract. Also the sales staff is extremely knowledgeable....like tech support level knowledge....and can answer nearly any question you have accurately (and will also do a screen share to SHOW you how the functionality you are asking about works). Very happy with it so far.

Pros

Great interface. Simple to set up and use.

Cons

No major cons so far.

Centralized, manageable timekeeping tool for a varied and dislocated workforce.

Pros

Ease of use, very straight-forward and user-friendly, easy to train new users and the customization aspects are wonderful! Prompt and knowledgable support staff. Top notch product!

Cons

We found out post-purchase about a Sync Manager that had to be installed to work with Quickbooks Desktop - that has been a source for several issues. I wish we would have known about that before hand. The BigTime support, however, has been PHENOMENAL and helped us through all of the issues.

BigTime invoicing allows your company to tailor the rates per client. it is a faster and easier product for entering time and billing the clients.

Cons

I like the ease of use for this product. It is easy to create individual billing guideline for each client. I did not have any issues using this product.

BigTime is a versatile tool for analyzing time and billing progress. I most appreciate the customizability of the layout: I can make adjustments as my needs evolve without needing an account manager. I've only encountered a few items that may be cumbersome: 1) Staff and project info must be entered individually. It would be much easier and more time efficient to have a bulk add option so all values can be cross referenced on a single screen. 2) When creating a time entry for an invoice, the employee name section is drop down only. Can this be a filter search like most other fields on the website?

Pros

Great handling of phases and progress billing. We run our projects in phases, and use fixed-fee percent complete invoicing. Also good for tracking costs in order do see how profitable we are per project, and even per staff member. We couldn't have asked for a better fit :)

Cons

"Submit timesheet" link was hard to find. Once we got the help and figured it out, it was pretty easy.
