It was educational without being boring. Brea was personable and knowledgeable. We learned a lot of tricks to invoicing. Even though most of the features we learned were not a specific part of my job, I can support the boss when he uses them.

Pros

I like the timing feature and the tasks box.

Cons

The software is not user intuitive. Everything takes a second and/or a call to support to figure it out such as the timing feature- it must have a note to be saved properly. We had to call tech support for that. There have been several small issues like that.

Pros

The customer service is great. It syncs easily to QBO. The software does everything we need it to do.

Cons

I am interested in seeing some improvement to the organization of the website. I wanted to change some expenses and I had to go in to the staff list to make those changes. Not very intuitive when one of the tabs is "time/expense".

Big Time delivers. It's easy to track time and create factual invoices for clients. The various plans means there is an economic solution for all.

Cons

No real cons. Plenty of help available for setup, please take advantage of the help. Going it alone will just lead to frustration for some.

Our rep has been working with me on the transition to Big Time and she has been very patient and understanding. She is very knowledgeable of the features and functionality of Big Time. She will explain a feature and will show me how it works and then we work to detail it to our company. I sent her different reports that I would like to use and she developed them for me and then we went over them the next time we had a secession. I really enjoy working with her she is an asset to your company.

We have had a great experience with the support and services at your company and we really enjoy the ease of use with your product. However, there are quirks that we find annoying when things don't work like they are supposed to and then causes a bunch of extra time to change. However, overall it is much better than the last product we used and we are glad we switched. I do love the custom-ability of the software.

Ease of use and custom-ability. Also the people we have talked to at the company are really responsive and helpful.

Cons

Quirks not working correctly.

So far so good.... I can easily see the value of using BigTime Software. We have not established all functions yet, but we are headed in the right direction. Our interaction with support and training personnel has been great. Their knowledge of the software is superior. We are looking forward to molding the software to fit our specific needs in the near future.

It's ability to capture time, notes, specific information about clients, and ability to mold to your best practices.

Can be a little tricky to set up the format for your specific business.

It allows us to have job/client information and bill from time.

Pros

I was trained on the old version, but when we upgraded it became much easier to use. I also like the new look.

Cons

I do a lot of invoicing through the software. One thing I don't like is when I go to save an invoice, it will randomly apply sales tax. There are instances I have to change it back a few times. When it syncs to QB, I have to go through those invoices (50-80/month) and correct it. That is frustrating.

The integration process was easy. It is straightforward and user friendly. There is little to no coding required when building it out which made the process easy and quick!

Cons

It would be nice if it could integrate with Google Drive or Adobe.

Pros

BigTime provides a comprehensive platform for inputting time through invoicing. We really appreciate the easy of manipulation at every juncture throughout the billing process!

Cons

So far, we haven't found any cons to this software; however, we just started using it.

I really like the customer support, when I can actually get someone to contact me in person. I HIGHLY recommend changing the name of LIVE Chat to Ask a question, since all input goes to email. Based on volume, it is difficult for new users to resolve questions quickly. Yes, the training calls help; however, we are moving fast to convert and don't want to do the call until we are ready with the right questions and training issues

It is a great way to easily track time and expenses for each employee and apply them to the correct jobs.

Pros

The simple and easy format projects and tasks. We needed to create projects with multiple tasks quickly for our employees to access and we were able to do that quickly.

Cons

Not always easy to edit once invoices are created. I am still getting used to the software and sometimes do not select the correct items needed from the start and have to delete the invoice and recreate.

From start to finish, Jacob was very patient and helpful in answering all of our companies questions, providing videos to illustrate how things worked and coordinated with our IT to get everything implemented. Very friendly and personable, easy to work with!

User friendly and how it integrates into Quickbooks desktop.

Cons

That it will not allow you to enter 0 for a day not worked when PTO is not offered. Also, that you can not just select 40 hours for salary employees without entering daily figures manually.

Pros

I just started using BigTime but I was able to configure it for our company in just a few short hours of learning. It's format works great for our consulting company because it has flexible ways to assign rates for time entry/invoicing. Expenses also work well for reimbursable expenses for our employees. It also has the best Quickbooks integration I've seen in a Time and Expense app. It does two-way syncing between Quickbooks and BigTime and also creates all the necessary time, expense, bill, and invoice entries I need in Quickbooks. I compared all the other available apps for integration with Quickbooks and BigTime was the by far the best choice.

Cons

It's more expensive than I'd like, but it's the only product that met our needs, and for that we're happy to pay a little extra.

The company information on the home page. Key information on WIP, hours to be approved and invoices still in the draft process.

I can't really say they is anything I don't like :) However when I post the invoices it would be nice to have an approval notification come up as opposed to being sent to the next screen.

I've been using BigTime for about 6+ months at the office I'm currently working in. It's been mostly easy to use, and keeps track of our time really well! I particularly like that we can update our budgets on there.

Pros

Updating budgets easily; Being able to track hours for yourself as well as other employees.

Cons

We were having difficulty inputting some of the previous invoices into the system to reflect the true amount. However, customer service ended up figuring it out for us.
