We've been using Bigtime Pro for almost 2 years now. We are a small company with a lot of projects so it's very helpful to be able to make reports for each project in the time periods we want it. I use the timesheet reports on our invoices that we send to clients - it keeps our invoices looking clean and they're easy to read. Also, love the feature that the report can export into excel so I can make it look how I want if I want to change it. I started using the expenses feature back at the beginning but found i didn't like it so much, or I just didn't get used to it - I stopped trying. Will probably be a feature I look into again when I have time. All in all, bigtime is great for our company and we'll continue to use it as long as we can. (Also, bigtime support is great!!)

Time accounting data.

Pros

The software is very user-friendly and the support from the BigTime staff is great! The set-up of the projects and tasks is very straight forward, and provides great visibility into projects and provides detailed time accounting data.

Cons

Just familiarizing with the software, it seems that the least attractive features about this software is the submitting, approval and posting of time-sheets.

Easy to use and figure out. And please do not make me write more in this box for a successful submission. Further, to sign in with a user name and password is cumbersome.

In Reports for Employees, you cannot pull the "Vendor" from QuickBooks Integration. And please do not make me write more in this box for a successful submission. Further, to sign in with a user name and password is cumbersome.

I'm only involved with Bigtime from the employee standpoint, where I input my hours for each specific job. The only issue I have is that when I input multiple hours for an incorrect date, it's a hassle to correct the issue. It seems like you have to reinput the hours instead of just changing the date.

I can access it anywhere. The staff enters their own time.

Pros

The staff enters their own time instead of writing out their time on paper and giving it to the secretaries to enter.

Cons

when I export for printing purposes, pdf is in landscape mode and this cannot be changed. The other options for exporting are in portrait but would require me to manually put a page break between clients. I

I've had two training sessions with Brea, I have found them both very helpful. Doing the training sessions helped me realize everything you can do with BigTime instead of just the basic time entry. I've used a few different timesheet programs and never have had helpful training sessions like I experienced with Brea.

Pros

Its simple, but at the same time has so many different reports, tasks and functions you can set up to work with your company

Pros

The ease of use. I appreciate the layout and the app is absolutely perfect. I was able to load my entire team into the program without using any of the training material.

Cons

Vocabulary is not entirely intuitive, but the customer service agent responded to my questions almost immediately. While I would prefer a little bit more customization, I have no real complaints.

Pros

I like how customizable it is to upload our clients to be able to track the information we want to track. It is not a one size fits all solution, which is a large appeal. Plus it is easy to use, even from the admin standpoint.

Cons

I wish there was a bit more customization on buttons that can be on the timesheet itself, but overall not many cons come to mind thus far.

Pros

Easy to use, The integration with QBO was smooth. The ability to generate custom reports gives you a great insight on projects management. Employees love the timekeeping app.

Cons

There are times that you can't connect immediately to Customer Support for help. They do get back to you within a couple of hours. Wish there was a support number.

Came from a company who had used big time previously and had a great experience with customer service and how simple the system made my payroll and expense process i recommended it to my new company SLIM contracting and we couldnt be happier with the implentation team and process to use the new IQ service. very happy with Big time.

Pros

The product is great for tracking my hours, and staying on top of my pricing on projects. There are some specific ways I track clients and QuickBooks classes, and Jacob at BigTime was able to help me customize the app to do everything I need it to do! Very well done.

Cons

The only thing I would add if possible would be the ability to add QuickBook classes and clients to QuickBooks directly from the app while creating a timesheet. This would make the process even more streamlined for me. Usually the first time I enter a new class in QuickBooks is when I'm booking my first hours against a project. As it is now, I just have to make sure the class is setup in QuickBooks and linked to the app before entering any hours against it.

The product: The level of detail we can get out of it about utilizing our staff and measuring profitability. It's quite easy to use once we got set up. The vendor: The team is awesome! They helped us get up and running very quickly.

Cons

The level of complexity you can get into with details. Gets a bit confusing if you dig too deep, but that's what the support team is there for.
