Pros

it's quick to add entries and easy. I can add or update entries with easy. I login and add each expense as I go because it's so easy to use

Cons

I wish I could type in a category entry instead of selecting from the pull down. another cute feature would be to have default values for project/budget because I only have 1 project to track.

I see the same hours that my supervisor sees, so I can ensure we are on the same boat with time management.

Pros

It has a crisp design and I know what to look for. The prompts are very clear and I like seeing what hours have been submitted.

Cons

I struggle with the two views of the week and day. I am never quite sure which will be the most useful for what I need.

Pros

The budget reports and tracking are visually pleasing, easy to use and navigate, and quick tp update. These are critical for our work and Big Time has made this much easier!

Cons

There is a learning curve to full grasp all the features.

My overall experience with BigTime is "Super Amazing", I just spoke to support team with BigTime Support this morning and they were so helpful! All the staffers are so friendly and understanding even when I keep asking the same questions over and over again because I just can not seem to grasp it! At times support has had to share a screen with me because I am not explain or using the correct terminology and yet they still have a great sense of support and understanding.

Pros

There are so many great things about BigTime but my favorite is the support and reports you can create.

Cons

The least favorite thing I feel BigTime has is the cell phone app. The employees tell me that the hours under timesheets do not appear correctly.

Works well for what we need it to do, which is input our time to track it for billing clients. I like that it is web based so it makes it easy to get latest updates when available.

Pros

I like the ease of use

Cons

I don't like having to input a comment with every time entry input. Would like to designate certain categories for comments while accepting others sans comment.

Pros

Easy and simple to use to do timesheets which would otherwise be a pain. Since this has to a hundred characters I will also that the different reports which can be generated are also a benefit.

Cons

Easy to do timesheets. Meaning that doing timesheets was always a necessary evil but this program takes the pain out of it.

Pros

It is very user friendly - Kwame M assisted me yesterday and today with an issue regarding one of our contractors. Kwame did a great job and was very supportive and attentive

Cons

It can be confusing to some extent - one of our contractors, in this instance, had 2 profiles and was entering hours and expenses under the company name first instead of under his name. This was confusing because his name did not show clearly under the Company name. Kwame merged both files and this fixed the issues.

Pros

Its fun to navigate around, there are multiple ways to obtain the desired information. I like the layout of reports. I like being able to drop reports into excel or a pdf.

Cons

The amount of pages I have to leave in order to move on to a next step in the process. I cannot customize a report to fit my requirements.

Overall, happy with the ease of use for timekeepers to keep time. As with most programs, time will be needed to feel comfortable with it, but with my 2 onboarding sessions, I feel I can at least get through tax season with enough knowledge to use it, and then learn more when I have more time.

BigTime is an excellent value and works very well with Quickbooks. We're an advertising agency that needed an easy way to track time and expenses against a variety of jobs then port that over to Quickbooks for billing. It's saved us many hours every month due to its ease of use and turnkey integration with Quickbooks. Perhaps the most valuable feature of BigTime is the customer support. From the very start, their rep Jacob Wilson, walked us through the system to get us moving. Training was simple and everytime we had a question he was there. The same goes for their customer support team now that we're using the system. Great job and thanks!

Ease of entering in time in the time sheets, staff like the timer function, set up was easy, and quick response from customer service

Cons

BT doesn't calculate over time, the payroll reports require a lot of manual work around to get the information needed, and overall, it's not a great time keeping system.

It's basic features work ok for tracking time spent on grants but its functionality for nonprofits is limited because it cannot account for salaried staff. Brea Phillips did a great job answering my questions and trying to find workaround solutions.

Pros

Big Time has helped me manage time and expenses, as well as client billing and invoicing. Plus, its workflow management tools have made my life easy!

Cons

The one thing that I dislike about Big Time is the lack of email notifications. That should definitely be added to their 2019 product roadmap.

Functionality is great and we can customize for our needs.

Cons

It is sometimes not intuitive to use at the beginning due to it being a complex software. Would recommend creating sample template for different industries to show how some of the features are used in the real world

BigTime has saved me time because I don't have to enter data twice. It automatically syncs with QuickBooks and imports the data, unlike our previous system which had to be entered into the system exactly the same as QuickBooks or it wouldn't sync. Transferring time at the end of each week is done with a single button and doesn't require the extra steps I previously had to make. The one change we would like to see if having the choice of having the timer window on top at all times so employees remember to switch projects. The support department has been very timely the few times we have required assistance.

It is an easy system to work with if your needs fit into the specific format provided. We do not have the standard setup found within many account firms & as a result are having to find workarounds to meet our specific needs. Communication between the sales department & the technical advisors did not seem to be very good as answers to many of our questions were not readily available. That being said, the systems offers great learning tools & we have had excellent response times when reaching out to customer service. Once we work through the learning curve, I think it will be a very useful tool.
