Pros

Wso2 IS has most of the identity features like SSO, OpenID, Oauth, MFA, Social logins easy integration. Its 100% open source

Cons

For those who are new to wso2 product, documentation and example solutions are not sufficient to understand the configuration and integration of this product with their existing landscape. Minimal community support.

This allows you to do access management in cross platform for servers as well as end points. Supports OAuth, OpenID, SSO, MFA, SOAP and so on.

Cons

Lack of proper documentation for some specific scenarios which makes it hard to implement.

WSO2 IS is a good product, many features in only one product and ease to install (even in a cluster). If you undestand carbon, then you'll undestand other products too. Support to many user stores, many protocols (such as SAML, LDAP, etc.) is great and works fine and manage resources very ease. However, as other WSO2 products, documentation is poor, probably due comercial characterists. If you don't have techinical skills about midlewares, is not curious (you'll need read code a lot, code in github and XML files), then you'll have problems.

Product is good, there is a scope for better documentation as it is difficult for someone who start using the product first time. Documentation can be divided into two sections. a) Product concepts, architecture and flow etc. b) Tutorial, sample etc..
