Enrollment Director Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "All in One Camp Software" February 27, 2018 4.0 Pros This is an easy to use software to have everything related to our camp in one place. It has a communication piece that makes communicating with any specific category quick and easy. It is easy to enroll students and figure out how many you have in each session. Cons We have a flexible enrollment camp where we have multiple types of plans children can enroll in. In our school year software, this is automated. When we setup Campsite, we had to manually setup the billing and enrollment process. We were hoping this would be more automated. Depending on how you have your general ledger setup, I would recommend asking specific questions to your setup to make sure you can make Campsite fit your system. Review Source KH Kaliegh H. Reports were easy to understand how to piece together. Cons How firms are kind of hidden. For some of the functions you had to dig to find them and it made it kind of difficult at first but after using it for a while it became second nature. Pros Campsite is very user friendly. I was initially a power user as an admin for a summer camp. Since then my role has changed to where I just need to go in occasionally and it is very intuitive. Cons As not a power user, I do not have any features that I like least. When I was a main admin, I found campsite open to many suggestions and very helpful to find solutions. Pros The site is well organized and easy to use to keep track of campers and their attendance. The parents loved how easy it was to use the PIN numbers to check in their children. Cons I can't really think of anything as I used it mainly for attendance reports and managing sessions and it always worked fine for me. Pros It is user friendly for both administrators and our families. We love the carry over of information from year to year. Cons The medical portion can be difficult to navigate. They do their best to find options and are very quick to respond. We have found ways to make our 23 locations of camps with varying weeks work and campsite is very easy for parents to use. They love the blog. Pros It is intuitive and there are many ways to accomplish what you need. Cons Not able to delete some things that I would like to. Can add to blog using a phone. I liked the format of posting pics and that I could make tags and organize it in a way that was beneficial to our volunteers and parents. Cons I didn't like that I could only post one video at a time. I have a bunch of small clips that I wanted to post but it took way too long to upload and I could only have one video per post. Pros Campsite Customer Support for me has the best people I have had in contact with throughout my career. They are very responsive, knowledgeable of their product and very helpful. I would like to specifically commend \[sensitive content hidden\] for her services. She is amazing and I know most of her colleagues are the same. Cons I am a first time user and sometimes it's a challenge to find some transactions. But once you seek assistance, you will understand the system and proceed without needing any help at all. Now the parents can put the information in the system from their computers at home! Customer Service is great, but they do prefer email. They have many tutorials for all of your questions so make sure to watch those. Even if you email with a questions they will point you back to those helpful videos! The financial side of this system is a little complicated. The payment plans they have set up are confusing, and we didn't know they charged certain fees in regards to credit cards before hand. Our parents also love that they can interact with the teachers through this system. It's also been an asset to our staff for communication. Great System! Pros Parents can access information from home as well as submit their applications. Cons The financial payment plans. They make cancelling a registration a ten step process when it only needs to be one. Program Director Used the software for: ### "Campsite Review" February 17, 2015 4.0 Pros: easy to use, excellent customer service and troubleshooting support, intuitive Cons: checking account payment option does not accurately withdraw money from family accounts, medical forms not able to be personalized the way we need, sometimes need to process payments/make changes in a round about way. We are very impressed with this product. Any issues we've encountered have been quickly addressed and solved. We switched to campsite after having worked with another company that was not as willing to work with us and solve system issues. We appreciate the support and how proactive Campsite is! Thank you! I like how it organizes information in an easy format. That being said, for the site to work better with mobile devices. I am waiting every day for you guys to come up with an app that can make it easy for my to track enrollment, run reports and bring up information. Other than that I think the program is excellent. We do have certain modules within CampSite designed specifically for mobile devices like attendance check in and check out, medical logging and elective program scheduling, among others - all things you'll do while "on the fly" at camp. All other aspects of CampSite can be used on a mobile device with a web-browser (like Safari or Chrome) with the same functionality you would have if you were sitting at your desk! JH Jodi H. It has allowed our camp administrator more flexibility to register campers more efficiently and without errors. CampSite has also allowed us to hire our staff more efficiently with electronic contracts and forms. This has saved time and resources for the staff involved in the process. The general support that comes with CampSite makes the experience so easy. My questions, no matter how basic or complicated, are answered in a timely fashion and efficiently. I know if I have a problem it will be solved immediately, and they then teach me what to do the next time.
