GalaBid is very easy to use, navigate, and understand, and the customer service is excellent. Pros GalaBid is great all the way around, but what I appreciate most is the 24/7 live chat with a real person on the other end. They are incredibly responsive and answer questions/fix problems in real time. That kind of service is hard to find these days! Cons This is a personal preference, but I think that the AI-generated descriptions are too long and wordy. It has been my experience that people at a silent auction are drinking and socializing and are not reading lengthy descriptions of the items they are bidding on. Short and sweet, listing the high points is the way to go! A lot of other companies have red tape in getting ahold of someone for assistance; GalaBid does not. They are quick and helpful. Pros Simplicity, reliability, and customer service truly set this apart. The interface is exceptionally intuitive and easy to navigate, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish. The platform performs consistently and reliably, giving complete confidence that everything will work as expected. On top of that, the customer service is outstanding—responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive. Overall, an amazing experience across the board. Cons Setting up the widgets and adding the URL links was a bit "clunky" but once it was done it worked great. Cons We experienced a small reporting issue related to the buy-it-now feature on auction items, where those purchases were not appearing in our reports. Pros the online chat is excellent. the reporting features afterwards are great and the online auction features like all the extra details you can tweak and the comms functions are also excellent. Cons I can't see the reserve and current bid in my back end view. I can either see bids on each item, but not what the reserve is or I can see the reserve but can't see what the bids are at. I don't want to have to download a report to see these details side by side.
