Our overall experience has been fantastic. The platform has made running our annual auction incredibly easy and stress-free, particularly when managing a large number of bidders and items. Everything is intuitive and well organised, and we’ve always felt supported whenever we’ve had a question or needed assistance. After four years of using the platform, we’ve consistently had a smooth and reliable experience and would absolutely recommend it to others.

Pros

Incredibly straigthforward to use platform. We have used this for 4 years in a row to support our yearly auction and we would not have pulled it through so seamlessly every time without it. It's set up in a way that everything has been thought out and if you can't find your answer in the VERY helpful tutorials, the agents are always at hand to support and super prompt every time.

Cons

There is genuinely nothing I dislike about GalaBid. Everything is straightfoward and easy to manage.

Pros

I am new to Galabid and I had an issue with prices not showing! The support from \[sensitive content hidden\] was absolutely super. I can get frustrated when things do not work quite quickly or I cant find a tool however the live chat with \[sensitive content hidden\] solved my issue with extreme speed and efficiency. Thank you \[sensitive content hidden\]!

Absolutely no complaints as far as im concerned. First time using the software and have set up the silent auction within an hour.

Just super easy to work with, the raffle and silent auction features is what we used the most. Once you've uploaded your items and set up your auction start and finish, Galabid does all the work for you!

Pros

User friendly platform , no fee, excellent live chat service, always very quick and live agents find the answers in no time. We've used this platform for 6 years by now, couldn't be happier with it.

Cons

I don't see any negatives yet. We started using Galabid during the pandemic, since we could not do an in-person silent auction. The online auction (with Galabid) was so easy to set up and so succesful (we got so much more activity and so many more bids) that we never went back in person!

Excellent, easy, quick, efficient. Data entry, uploading photos, editing, all the great reports, very easy close out process. Immediate payment via Stripe.

Pros

It is very user friendly and above all 24/7 customer service is superb! I have used Galabid for five years for our annual Gala. I highly recommend it.

Cons

I really have zero complaints or negative comments. Over the past five years, the platform has been made super user friendly and the customer service cant be beat!

SO far it has been GOOD and I am looking forward to learning more about it and getting to know the program better.

Pros

The online chat help provided by \[sensitive content hidden\] was priceless, he was extremely helpful. Also \[sensitive content hidden\]Bolton was extremely helpful in getting me back into my account which shut me out for some reason.

Cons

I am new to it so not very experienced. there is not much that i can comment on it but for some reason i was logged out and \[sensitive content hidden\] had to help me get back in.

Pros

Easy to setup and run an auction for our animal shelter. Customer support is honestly the best on the internet out of every service I use. They're responsive, knowledgeable, and happy to help. We were able to support all of our donors easily. The bidding process was intuitive. You get a lot of value for the small amount paid in fees.

Cons

The item numbers under the items on the auction gallery may confuse bidders into thinking that's the number of bids an item has. No option to completely hide bidder names, or anonymized name, on gallery.

GalaBid made running our silent auction and raffle incredibly smooth. The platform was easy to set up and customize, and their support resources and live chat were very helpful. We loved having all our sales and donations flow through one place. Our only challenge was slower on-site registration for guests who hadn’t pre-registered, but overall GalaBid was an excellent tool that helped our event run successfully.

My overall experience is incredibly positive. GalaBid is very easy to use, navigate, and understand, and the customer service is excellent.

Pros

GalaBid is great all the way around, but what I appreciate most is the 24/7 live chat with a real person on the other end. They are incredibly responsive and answer questions/fix problems in real time. That kind of service is hard to find these days!

Cons

This is a personal preference, but I think that the AI-generated descriptions are too long and wordy. It has been my experience that people at a silent auction are drinking and socializing and are not reading lengthy descriptions of the items they are bidding on. Short and sweet, listing the high points is the way to go!
