It has helped increase bidding and made for a much smoother alert process when someone wins an item. It has also removed a lot of strain on our check-out teams because participants pay in the software itself. And if they forget to pay, we can easily charge their card or send them a reminder. GalaBid has been great for each event we've used it for, and we'll keep using it at future event auctions! Pros GalaBid is very easy to set up and use! It transformed our silent auction process. Not only is it easy to use on the administrative side, but the bidding process is easy for participants. They can easily see when they've been outbid, and they have the opportunity to bid again. It's also easy for them to see what they've won and to make their payment. I especially love that it's free!! It's an incredible platform, and we've found it to be well worth the credit card fees they charge. Cons I have no complaints about GalaBid! It does exactly what we need it to do and more. I really appreciate that they've made their platform available for free! We started using Galabid during the pandemic, since we could not do an in-person silent auction. Cons The item numbers under the items on the auction gallery may confuse bidders into thinking that's the number of bids an item has.
