There is merit because it was able to pull from different sources in giving a detailed account of the financial situation. Cons As I pointed out the system often had lag issues where it slowed down by waiting for data from other sources to load this affected real time decision making at times. The effective communication in the organization was enhanced through the use of the real-time collaboration feature as it brought all the departments together in line with financial goals and objectives. Cons There were occasional formula differences whenever I had to integrate models created in Excel so there was usually the need to do some extra checking in order to produce the final report. There were minor discrepancies which were resolved by data checking.
