I tried turning it off, but it would still be present in the dataroom. Our documents are named with numbers in front of them. So the extra No. column can be confusing. Pros It is very efficient and I have never had an issue downloading files or accessing a data room. Cons I don't like the new interface as much as the previous one. The previous interface was a little easier to use and I didn't have any issue with functionality. I don't like that when you checkbox individual files, you don't have the option to download them with the folder path. You can only download with a folder path included if you click the "Download" button without checking any files, which can be a little cumbersome downloading unneeded files. With excellent support from our CSM, implementation was quick and relatively straightforward. It has also been easy to use, maintain and to train new users on how to interface with the product. Cons We currently use a different platform for real-time document collaboration. If this feature were to be included Firmex, we could manage all of our ongoing document sharing in one platform - which would allow for easier integration and ongoing support. If there are, it’s usually on my end fixing access settings. Pros The security features that administrators are able to apply are also quite useful to maintain confidentiality.Management and user interface is clean and logical. It is easy for newer users to get used to which is useful for us as we are often working with many different clients.The reporting feature is also quite useful in managing users and documents. Cons Frequent login prompt is a downside. Having the ability to set the duration before being automatically logged out would be helpful. I have had very few users come back to me and not understand how they can gain access tot he files they need, so it is first time user intuitive as well. Firmex allows me to lay out all of the closing documents and give access to the necessary parties for review and approval. Firmex also allows me to provide parties with large documents that can't be sent via email due to size. Overall Firmex has been a huge help to our law firm. Pros The most important feature I like about Firmex is how easy it is to use either from the administrator side or the user side. I have never had anyone ask questions on how to use it because it's so straight forward. Cons I would enjoy seeing some type of integration with Imanage so if documents change internally they would automatically update. There are lower-cost alternatives in the market, but with those, you sacrifice the features that allow for an incredibly smooth process.
