Since we purchased a few years ago it has met all our needs and we are very happy with what it provides and also the excellent customer service and support.

Pros

Good software, easy to use, excellent for tracking all our local deliveries and providing on time customer feedback i.e ETAs. Proof of delivery is excellent.

Cons

If for some reason the system is not working or our driver is not able to connect or use elite on the phone, we still take photos for the deliveries. It would be good to be able to import those Photos as proof of delivery, after the fact. So we have a complete audit trail in one area.

simple and convenient working software to manage drivers in an amazon like fashion easily trackable

Pros

I use the return dashboard, dispatching and track drivers daily everything works smooth and simple. I would definitely recommend Elite to other businesses.

Cons

Once in a while there is an invoice that doesnt transfer from cdk to elite and it gets confusing or if a invoice is credited - elite doesnt remove that invoice you have to do it manually.

Overall good experience, definitely worth the investment in the software to make sure deliveries are accurately tracked.

Pros

Ease of use, accuracy of the gps with the trucks that the phones are on. Making routes is easy and it helps you figure out which driver has what orders on their trucks at all times.

Cons

Sometimes the gps signal gets lost so it doesn't always update for a little bit.

Number one reason is tracking, we wanted a way to know where our drivers were during their delivery runs.

Cons

The learning curve is a little steep at first but it isnt impossible to achieve. Some of the people we trained did not catch on very quickly.

it had the core functionality we were looking for and simplicity to operate. Along with ease of setup.

I love the system and all the upgrades that have come through the years.

Pros

The fact that it integrated to our management system, the ease of use and real time visual of tour fleet.

Cons

Hope in the near future the product development will provide a request that I have put in for a while, the ability of having to see a different color vehicle icon on the tracking map after a driver is not moving for a given time would help tremendously for our hot shot delivery operation.

Overall it is a great program and fairly easy to learn and use. There are lots of tools and reports you can use to get monthly data as well.

Pros

The fact I can track and see ETA of deliveries so I don't have to try and call the driver and play phone tag.

Cons

How it loses connections and also the optimization is hit or miss on being right. For a new driver who don't know the area it can really goof them up.

Easy to import orders via integration of Filezilla

Cons

The routing is not efficient if we are assigning more than 80 stops in a delivery zone, system tends to freeze and skipping stops causes errors.

Dispatch Science did not have the capacity to do on demand integration with routed work in the manner that we wanted. Also we were not sure if it could handle the routing efficiently for the increased work load we expected, and we had frequent server errors from their side.

It is a useful tool for tracking route profitability and route management

Pros

It is important for our business to be able to monitor deliveries and track proof of sales. I like to see where my employees are at and when they will be back to the store so that we can plan future deliveries.

Cons

The scheduled routes feature is messed up. In regards to the process for returning parts, we need to put in the part number and the line code. i would like to be able to input the part number and for the the possible line codes to automatically populate.

Cons

There is not much of a discount for the more vehicles/drivers you have using the system.

Elite is great for what we need it for. It allows us to be effective and have real time updates for our sales force and surgeons. We utilize this daily and it offers easier logistic management and route management. I would highly recommend this software to any medical company.

Pros

This software is very integrated with a lot of capabilities. I love all of the customization options as well the real time updates and tracking. The order grid is very easy to use and track all drop offs and the notes associated as well as the excel sheet that is provided within that.

Cons

I would like the routing to be a bit easier to navigate. I feel like there is a lot of wasted time routing because we do not always deliver to the same places and we do a lot of hot shots so we individually have to enter each route and we are not able to utilize the recurring routes. It would be nice to have a previous route option or something like that. Also it would be great if the drivers app did not have to be on and open for them to be dispatched.

Reason for choosing Elite EXTRA

What elite offered was a no brainer for us and what we needed and it is affordable.

While my exposure was limited, it was one of the best third party pieces of software to work with. It was seldom down, and when it was, the cause was of the failure was usually pretty easy to track down and correct.

Pros

Elite was already an established process within the organization when I joined. My role was to add new warehouses to the process and to assist the office staff in managing the behind the scenes file processing when a failure occurred at some point in the process. What I liked most was that the process was logical and easy to interact with throughout the process (in reference to third party processes).

Cons

Technical support. I know first hand that the user community enjoys a robust interactive support system, but having to the product late I did not have a strong relationship with Elite's technical staff. That seldom created a problem as the process to interact with Elite was intuitive and very straight forward.

We were told when we were first talking about using to just get it and I would mirror that sentiment. If you are on the fence DO IT.

Pros

Having proof of delivery including GPS points and photos has helped us to not lose money when a customer claims to have not gotten a delivery.

Cons

has so many capabilities that have to be "turned on" and sometime we were not even aware that it was available. This is becoming less common because all the videos and emails are great.

Overall experience has been great. Their support is helpful and responsive. I feel like for the best benefit, our company needs to repeat the onboarding/training process in order to best utilize the program.

Pros

I love the order tracking features. The PHOTO POD and signature capture are great!

Cons

Trying to migrate to "SCHEDULED RUNS" and driver self-dispatch proved to be pretty difficult. Most likely due to internal processes, but it seemed to add more confusion to our dispatch than letting a designated dispatcher route the orders.
