Comments: I have been recruiting for over 20 years and have been using Applicant Tracking Systems for approximately 15 years exclusively on the corporate side with some of the largest tech firms in the world.

Pros: I don't really like much about this product. The candidate production is on par with other systems. It is quicker than other systems I have used....and that's about it.

Cons: It is not a user friendly product and I wonder how much they involved highly experienced. corporate recruiters in the functional design of the platform. There is a lot of wasted space and extra clicking that needs to be done. The system is not intuitive at all for a user. I have used Taleo quite a bit and found it to be much more compact in viewing candidates and their status. The search capabilities with ICMS are very hard to understand with their forms, filters, output templates, etc. I have to constantly go back to the instructions to figure out how to find jobs, particular hiring managers, etc. In addition I have had candidates on several occasions call me since they were having trouble uploading documents into the system. There are better systems or comparable systems available for less money. Each recruiter should't have to become a "super-user" in order to work in an ATS but that seems to be the case for ICMS.

Pros: All the information we needed was right there and we can customize our screen to see what we want, where we want it. The reporting is great too, as it provides all the information you need to provide stats back to management.

Cons: It is always interesting to see how different ATS systems are set up to do basically the same thing!

It's easy to use and it keeps everything in one portal.

Pros: I like that it integrates with our website. You can do emails and track your communication with the candidates. I like how easy it is to put job reqs on the site and to search for candidates and jobs.

Cons: I don't like the scheduling tool, it doesn't integrate with our email system. The social media site seems like it is disjointed.

Great enterprise-level solution that's very robust for ATS needs.

Pros: Great analytics on the back end. Provides me with lots of features for finding qualified candidates. Best ATS I've ever used at an Enterprise Level.

Cons: I wish this had more integrations with other HR platforms. It's a little pricey but you should plan on that for an enterprise level solution.

Comments: iCIMS does not,have the feel and features of a standalone ATS but works well with resume parsing and connections.

Pros: iCIMS is a fairly easy to use. Interface is practical and not complicated when it comes to navigation. Integrates well with other HR systems

Cons: Communications via email is limited in terms of template design. Lacks features with notifications and email blasts.

My experience with iCIMS is very pleasant.

Pros: I enjoy the customer service help desk and how the representatives are very knowledgeable and patient. In addition, the layout of the iCIMS platform is very user-friendly. For instance, reports can be found in the "reporting center".

Cons: My company requires a lot of customization and iCIMS can't offer a lot of options. For instance, iForms have somewhat of a rigid format that make it a bit difficult to customize to better fit our company.

Overall: This system helps house all our talent for the projects my company is working on. It's useful and easily accessed anywhere, which is very important as we have many remote employees on our team.

Pros: Very valuable to have some my ability to customize as an administrator. Not have to request that change be made by someone outside of the organization for every tweak is amazing

Cons: Reporting is not a flexible as Id like to report metrics for my organization the way my management would like to see it. Reporting is not as intuitive as the other aspects of the system.

Pros: I love the approval features and reminders as well as the new hire onboarding forms and process. Many email templates/forms/processes can be customized to meet our needs.

Cons: While many aspects can be customized, there are additional features that we wanted customized, however we were bot able to do so or the tech was not able to fix it.

Overall: Accurate and consistent reliability, ease of auto approval features, and an awesome onboarding platform.

iCIMS was a dream to implement. They did everything they promised and more.

Pros: Ease of use and having our complete recruiting database at our fingertips. iCIMS delivered on their promise of routine updates that seamlessly improve the user experience, whether you are an applicant, the Admin, or a hiring manager. And, their HelpDesk, especially at the beginning, was beyond compare. We knew them on a first-name basis and they could not have been better or more responsive.

Overall: Branding and consistency.

Pros: There is a lot it can do with regards to sourcing, recruiting, and on-boarding. They have already done a lot of the leg work for vendor searches also.

Cons: The admin aspects of the platform has a steep learning curve. Learning the system as the admin requires a person to start thinking within the levels of talent acquisition versus as just one process. The number of clicks for tasks is also way to high, needs simplified.

Overall: Its an industry leader in my industry.

Pros: We enjoy the organized dashboard views and its ability to be customized. We also enjoy the availability and customization of the workflow process that enhances our ability to manage a better time to fill, maximizing our recruiting team's time.

Cons: To format e-mail messaging in a better graphic format one must know a little HTML to make it better as the basic editing tool is more text driven.

Overall: We have achieved our initial TA goals with the use of iCIMS; expand our job advertisement reach, install a well managed candidate process that enhanced our candidate experience as well as improved our hiring manager experience, and to be come a data driven talent acquisition business unit.

We are building on our second set of initiatives of building a stronger applicant pipeline, increasing our communication with passive and engaged candidates, and manage recruiting events through iCIMS.

Pros: Easy to use and it integrates with all of our other tools so all we need is ICIMS. It's a great candidate experience and also 3rd parties.

Cons: the analytics, a little complicated to manipulate. However when I call ICIMS help desk for assistance they answer quickly and are helpful and pleasant

Pros: The ease of use - the ability to gather data from program to utilize the reporting function - ICIMS offers the best customer service of any software program we use within our company. Other departments are jealous of our customer service delivery.

Cons: Cannot think of one! I have done consulting work for other companies who use various ATS systems and they are complicated and do not allow the user to customize in the manner that ICIMS does.

Pros: It's very user friendly, it takes half the time it used to take me in order to post, get candidates and get them onboarding! Best move we ever made switching over to iCIMS Recruit/Onboard!

Cons: It would be nice if managers got an email alert once candidates have completed 100% of the onboarding tasks rather than having to go in and check daily to see if they have completed their tasks. I realize there are reports which are great but a simple notification saying "Joe Smith has completed their tasks", would be awesome!

Pros: Data is available at our fingertips! It's easy to use for our applicants as well and we feel that we are yielding more and higher quality candidates through icims.

Cons: It takes a little while (3 - 4 months) to really grasp the reporting functionality. But once we figured it out we have so much data readily available - it's amazing!

Pros: The ability to customize the system to meet your companies needs. We have implemented Hiring Manager portals and integrated with one of their partner background and drug screen companies.

Cons: The reporting system can be a little tricky at first when creating them but you start to get the hang of it.

Pros: I have lots of experience with recruiting platforms, both corporate and staffing environments. I love the ease of use, great functionality and it is highly configurable. The workflow components make it easy to scale a good process for efficiency and results.

Cons: I have used over 10 different ATS tools in my career and been part of implementing them all. With that said, there are none that are "perfect". This one is the closest. The calendaring/scheduling function is a bit clunky and needs more functionality especially self service.

Overall: Excellent performance, support and results from using this product in out Talent Acquisition process. We get results.

Pros: API and connectability to other systems. Searching and reporting are very robust and easy to export. Mobile friendly for candidates. Dashboard brings critical items to your attention throughout the day. Customer service is great at resolving most issues on the first call.

Pros: This application let's you rely your human resources on it, avoiding possible human mistakes and the salary of the person in charge. Also let's you keep a more visual track of the people you are considering to recruit

Cons: Even thought technology it's a great thing to save up in human resources, there is some jobs where person to person conversation is needed in order to really know what kind of person you are recruiting, besides that it's a complicated software that would need dedicated time until you really get the hang of it.

Pros: What I like most about iCIMS is that their client service is by far some of the best I have ever encountered with a vendor. Anytime you need help their client support line is always available to help out and I have not had to wait longer than 5 minutes or so for an answer over the phone. Additionally, when you open a ticket with them on an issue you are having, they send you email correspondences for every update they have to share, which I appreciate because you are always in the know on how to move forward with issues you are having.

Cons: What I like least about iCIMS is that their focus is mainly as an applicant tracking system and not a full-service system that includes features like payroll, performance management, succession planning, etc. iCIMS has really mastered being a very reliable applicant tracking system, but they have room to improve moving forward as a full-service provider for companies.

Pros: I loved that all the information was all in one place. I did not have a million different screens to look up the same type of information,

Cons: The system was extremely slow. That was my chief complaint. ALso that we have a lot of seasonal employees. They were hard to track.

Comments: It is a good tracking system that works way better than the alternative paper version of applicants!

Pros: Being able to review info quickly & easily while keeping them specific to certain jobs & all jobs. We can tag one person in multiple areas and have their info be sent to the hiring managers easily.

Cons: Sometimes it is hard to find a particular person when you have multiple with the same name, but it does have features that allow for a more specific search.

It's been helpful to track applicants electronically.

Comments: Great product - great company - great employees

Pros: I am in the drivers seat for how it is set up and utilized for my company. Very easy to use for both the employer, employee and hiring managers.

Cons: Im not sure they realize what it means to hire seasonally and retain all the information for each year on returning employees.

Pros: Lots of functionality that supports the entire sourcing, recruiting and onboarding process. Allow access from multiple perspectives and follow the flow of candidates throughout the lifecycle. Especially like the on pre-hire/onboarding tools.

Cons: It is not as intuitive to use, especially for hiring managers. Additional training and more intuitive approach would be helpful.

Overall: Ease of applicant flow, consistency, integration of assessments and all onboarding documents

Comments: This is a great product. As someone who has experience with several large ATS platforms, there doesn't seem to be a single product that does everything, but this one seems to come the closest by far.

Pros: I really like that it can be easily customized to suit our needs, and can manage the recruitment pipeline for a wide variety of candidate types and requisitions. It also provides many data points and intuitive reporting capabilities. It has a nice, clean look and feel to the UI. They provide strong customer support whenever there are questions or issues. It integrates seamlessly with many other vendors and HR products.

Cons: They could make a few improvements. It feels like sometimes there are a few too many "clicks" required to drill down to the info needed. Also, it would be great if they could include a feature to view the "last viewed candidates," or "last viewed requisitions." It would help speed things up when trying to move quickly between multiple candidates and requisitions.

Pros: I thoroughly enjoy iCIMS. iCIMS is customizable to your organizations needs. Easy to use platform. The customer services is AMAZING.

Cons: The only con I have is that you aren't able to create email groups to make it easy to send an email to your team without adding each in as a recipient. The reporting was also difficult at first, but after I went to their training- much easier!

Pros: I like being able to search by name or by job title to find who I'm looking for. It's nice to be able to view a person's profile and once selected to hire I can have all their documents together online.

Cons: I work at a place that does a ton of re-hires. For us it has been a pain to require people who come back every summer to remember their login name and password and re-do the current years paperwork. They end up making a new profile which makes it even more confusing for us.

Cons: Although we liked the product, felt that the system was a bit pricey for us. We have under 500 employees and although the system would work, we didn't want to spend as much money on this type of system.

Comments: Really enjoyed using iCims and hope i get the chance to use the ATS again

Pros: The customer service was amazing. Any issues we were having, we would email or call and it would be handled right away.

Cons: The implementation took a long time and the reporting was difficult to get information from. Wasn't user friendly when it came to reporting.

Comments: Great ATS!

Pros: Customer Service reps are extremely helpful, friendly and always follow up. The system is completely configurable.

Cons: The functionality can be complex on the administrative side, mainly because every aspect of the system can be configured.

Icims team so very cooperative during the implementation process.

Pros: Easily accessible. Support team is very helpful anytime you have a question. Implementation went very smoothly.

Comments: Overall, iCIMS is a great system but could be more price conscious for small businesses.

Pros: Great software, very easy to use. Has a lot of great feature that make the entire recruiting process seem streamline. One easy location for all applicants to apply. Ease of use for both candidates and recruiters.

Cons: High cost and add-on fees for items that should be standard with today's technology. Limited customization.

Pros: The candidate flow in iCIMS is really good, user friendly. Very easy to review candidates, send to Hiring Managers and move them through or reject.

Cons: It is a bit old school, missing some scheduling upgrades and opportunities that some of the newer ATS' have.

Icims is a great partner and has responsive customer support and service.

Pros: Icims is constantly looking at ways to improve it's service offerings in support of their customers.

Cons: Icims is growing quickly and main POCs can change often, however, with positive change comes great reward for their clients.

Comments: if it gets you resumes like it should - I'd recommend it. The reporting is not as malleable as I'd like either..

Pros: easy to use, figure out, search jobs/candidates/users within the system. pretty user-friendly. it's nice that you can create a library of forms (you pay per form that's stored in the system), the qualifying/screening question bank and the quicklinks/shortcuts on the left that you should pin - that's a nice feature so you can see who's applied recently regardless of the job

Cons: we're not getting resumes like we have with other systems - now that we know this, I've heard that it's hit or miss when companies use iCIMS - they either get a lot of resumes (bc it's supposed to post to several job boards for you) or it gets very few. iCIMS can't really help or figure it out either - just luck of the draw if a company will get the postings/resumes like they expect (in other words, ask how to do a test trial to see how many resumes you get for a normal job you post all the time before buying) Aside from that just have to remember to hit the refresh button after updating things and start from the beginning (dashboard) for it to show the updated info. it'll still update but you won't see it without the refresh and going back to the dashboard.

Pros: Great software, very easy to use. Has a lot of great feature that make the entire recruiting process seem streamline. One easy location for all applicants to apply. Easy to manage workflow to ensure all forms are completed correctly. ICIMS is a very robust tech savvy system that has a lot of capabilities. It has customer specific add-on options and the overall functi8onality is great. The reporting features are great and allow you to run specific report data. The libraries will store your job orders and other information pertinent to your position that makes it easy to use for future reference. Email tracking is a great tool. Lastly, they have a lot of pre-recorded training and webinars to help you to learn the platform. Applicants have the option to apply for multiple positions after initial profile is created.

Cons: The cost is so high. I have found other ATS services that are significantly cheaper. The time it takes to have the entire implementation go live is longer than expected and overall iCIMS could be more price effective.

Pros: I liked that all information could be sent through the system, including offer paperwork, benefits, and any other attachments.

Cons: Took SO long to load and our application process was very long in there, causing huge candidate fallout. Also, it was hard to understand the reporting software available to us and how to appropriately filter. Not great for field hires; more appropriate for corporate hires but still not the best.

Overall: All information in one place.

Pros: iCIMS has so many incredible features and add ons. Our database easily held over 50,000 candidate records.

Comments: There are a lot of ATS systems out there. Look for a good one that can grow with your company. ICIMS charges for everv new technology they put out there, social media, website upgrades. They bank on you being captive since it is difficult to migrate to a new system.

Pros: ICIMS is a very robust system and has alot of capabilities, add-ons and overall functionality. It is highly configurable and allows you to add custom fields. There is a reporting feature that allows you to select specific report data and save the report for future. Additionally, libraries will store your requisitions, and other position information for easy reference through foldering capabilities. Tracks email communication through your outlook system, to capture both sides of the email conversation. Additionally, they have a lot of pre-recorded training and webinars to get to learn the system.

Cons: They didn't have a direct feed through Indeed and our positions were picked up randomly and after several days. Additionally, requisitions are difficult to post, show up with multiple fonts (even after various attempts at editing, which is a poor representation of your company.) ICIMS is very difficult for EEO/AAP reporting. Our standard reports didn't work well for this at all. Customer service is very hit or miss, some are really great, and others don't know the system at all. Account representatives are the same way, we just left them, due to their lack of interest to help us update the system set up after 10 years of use. There are alot of custom programming required to implement changes, and they didn't implement updates with the new DOL requirements. We had to ask for the new EEO forms for VEVVRA and Disability reporting requirements.

Comments: The sales team will say yes and promise you the world...once you sign... the implementation team will drag out the process and then tell you they can't meet the go-live date promised.

Pros: Mid-tier ATS functionality. The basic functionality is there.. will help you get your recruiting done. You are not paying for fancy UI..

Cons: Poor Customer Service. Limited customization. Cumbersome & long, drawn out implementation process.

Comments: iCIMS is so close to being the best...I highly recommend digging in with self sourcing recruiters to learn what they do and then build the functionality.

Pros: Latest technology, multi-platform, easy to use, configurable, integration with LinkedIn, multiple modules, such as Connect (very basic CMS), ATS and Onboarding.

Cons: Does not have tracking tools for self sourcing recruiters. Needs the ability to easily track self sourcing activities, such as calls, emails, texts, etc.

Pros: Easy to use. The functionality of the system is great. Having the option of pie charts to see where candidates are in process is a plus.

Cons: Many different screens to toggle through. Would be nice if all profiles were combined under one record. Approvals wipe out if have to reroute for approval after approvals were completed the first time.

Comments: Overall a great software, with a few cosmetic/viewing changes, it would be the most use friendly ATS on the market after viewing multiple demos and trials.

Pros: Better candidate searching and tagging features for building talent pools. Better communication features within the program.

Cons: Lacks the ability to feed easily into ADP, a popular HRIS software on all levels required for ease of use. The appearance on the candidate searching side through bins is tedious for viewing.

Pros: easy tool to store all necessary information hiring managers and recruiters need to facilitate hiring process. I've seen it used with quite a few of our clients, and they all use it a bit differently, but it seems to work for everyone

Cons: As always, it is only as valuable as the users are who are entering the data. But I don't see any real cons.

Comments: Overall I think it's a great system. And their customer service is top-notch!

Pros: The way we can track one candidate's information and the ease of use. I like that I can always see and update their status with the a couple quick clicks. It's laid out really nice and makes sense for our daily needs.

Cons: Reporting is somewhat confusing and there are some aspects of the system that I've had to request additional training on in order to use it properly. When I search for something in the Help page, I find videos instead of simple answers.

Pros: The talent platform on iCims makes it easy to search for new hires and to see where they were recruited from. There are reporting capabilities to run reports to view where your hires are being selected from. You can also put down if they were referred and who they were referred by.

Cons: It's hard to keep track of all the hires on iCims and to move them into specific categories if you want to be organized.

Comments: Overall, I am very please with the tool thus far.

Pros: Ease of use, customizable, integrates with ADP payroll, as well as background check companies. Also has onboarding module. Excellent reporting capabilities and integrated scheduling tool.

Cons: User interface is a little clunky and could be updated. I also would like to see the ability to assign competencies to jobs and interviewers and have a more user friendly interview feedback tool.

Consistency across features/modules makes learning more intuitive
Excellent, dedicated, consultative account management and tech support

Pros: - Exceptional Customer Service on all levels.
- Lots of flexibility and configuration tools for system admin to configure the products on the front end.

Cons: Reporting needs to be improved. Even though the system is easy to create, run and automate reports iCIMS still needs to improve system reporting capabilities where queries can be built to correlate the data between different tables.

Pros: The customized workflows and process automation is a HUGE time saver and allows our team to focus on personal connections with our candidates rather than managing administrative tasks. iCIMS was a perfect fit when we sought out software that would allow for a more candidate-friendly experience.

Cons: What's not to like? I wish our other HR software systems were as flexible and versatile as iCIMS. We use the recruit & onboard systems and wish there were more systems offered by this company for managing the entire employee lifecycle.

Comments: We went with this product two years ago over Newton based on the customization of the applicant flow and reasonable price. Since then the price has inflated 750% as we had to add a "custom" document that was less cluttered meaning we had to pay to take things off a page of theirs. They approached us this year less than 30 days from renewal with a 230% price hike which I obviously do not have time to change products so I am stuck for another year. This will earn them this year, this wonderful review and then lose them the next year. Avoid this company.

Pros: Meets the needs as a ATS and allows to somewhat customize the applicant flow to match your organization.

Cons: Expensive and they ramp the price up later once they have you committed. Customer support is rather poor and we experienced a 48 hour complete outage earlier this year. The implementation was awful. Newton's implementation was more than iCIMS but apparently you get what you pay for.

Pros: It is being used across the enterprise to manage goals and performance reviews. It allows employees and managers to easily and securely create and share goals, and to collaborate on individual employee performance. And Customer support is best!!

Cons: It is little bit expensive and in some cases it works slowly. And the interface is old-fashioned, i think they have to do some improvements. BTW it is very useful and helpful app

Cons: More reporting flexibility would be good. This is the best ATS I have used, so I do not have much negative to say about the product. Every release seems to address past issues (such as reporting flexibility).

Solid ATS with the functionality and features that many organizations will really enjoy.

Comments: If reporting was more real time and could update without having to run the specific reports every time. If it could update as you disposition candidates, that would be more useful as other ATS's have that feature.

Pros: Overall, I cannot say enough about the ease of use with the iCIMS applicant tracking system. Having demoed many other systems, nothing came close to the layout with iCIMS. Also, the customer service provided by all of the iCIMS representatives is outstanding. We have been able to fully customize are settings to our organization and iCIMS has been there every step of the way to help us.

Cons: I don't have any real cons with the iCIMS applicant tracking system besides the fact that it's only an applicant tracking system. I would love to see the company expand into other offerings.

Pros: Much easier to use than Taleo! User friendly.

Cons: I am sure we are not maximizing our use of the product and that's always burdensome for me to think that we aren't. Always feels like you are directed to finding the answers online and watching the training and figuring it out on our own. We don't have an in-house IT expert we can depend on for iCIMS and we are not tech SME in recruiting so I think we struggle with knowing what we don't know.

Comments: Overall, great product for recruiting!

Pros: Customize to fit organizations Needs. Very easy to make quick system changes to adjust to organizational changes.

Cons: Some system limitations. There is not standard phone field, making integration a little challenging. A workaround has been put in place.

Comments: I would like to get more options for the increase in cost year over year.

Pros: The capabilities are seamless with my needs including simple navigation, iform capability, onboarding and many other tools.

Cons: The reporting is cumbersome and I sometimes need assistance to pull what I need. However, does have great capabilities, it is just sometimes too time consuming to try to figure those out.

Comments: I wouldn't recommend this service provider to anyone. I've had 5 client representatives in less than five years. My current account manager is clueless and not committed to resolving customer issues or concerns. Additional fees are being assessed with no communication or knowledge of the customer.

Comments: Our company uses the iCIMS recruiting and onboarding platform and I've found it to be most flexible from a front end configurability standpoint. In addition, we are a Lawson shop and the iCIMs technical team is very familiar with our integration needs. For example, our direct deposit integration now has a checkpoint on the iCIMs site that validates the routing number before the file is exported - it is a huge help in identifying/reducing typos by the candidate. Finally, with many of the support teams I've worked with over the years, iCIMS is hands down the most responsive and proactive.

Pros: Covered in initial interview

Cons: I think the biggest challenge is getting employees to use it thoroughly & consistently according to internal candidate management process. But that's a con for the users, NOT the product.

Overall: I do a lot of onsite recruitment consulting at area companies & have used this product several times. It has so many great bells & whistles to help automate the process and record historical data and candidate information. It's an easy-to-learn/use product that offers excellent reporting features, intuitive navigation and can be customized to suit a department's needs.

Comments: iCIMS ATS meets our needs for a Technical College and gives our candidates a good customer experience. I highly recommend exploring its capabilities!

Pros: The social media sharing tools make it easy to advertise your positions. The resume parsing feature saves valuable time for candidates filling out the application.

Cons: The onboarding module may require Custom iForms.

Comments: I have worked with 3 ATS platforms throughout my recruiting career thus far. Overall, the iCims talent management platform is fairly easy to use and user-friendly for someone with or without an experience of using an ATS system. It seems to be very to easy to integrate the platform with other technologies as well. This is tougher with older ATS platforms.

Pros: Easy to navigate and move candidates throughout the hiring process.

Cons: The reporting functions and searching functions could be easier.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are looking to make a switch to a new ATS, I would definitely recommend considering iCims. Not only is it easy to use, but it is easy to integrate with other technologies. It is harder to integrate older ATS platforms but iCims seems to be one of the easier ones.

Comments: It truly helps me with tracking all of my applicants and getting them on boarded, however, the reporting feature could be edited a bit in order to make it more user-friendly. When it comes to updating and dealing with customer service, I will say things do take time and that should be improved.

Pros: Easy navigation throughout tracking applicants, lots of options with integrating!

Cons: Reporting can be confusing sometimes, needs to be more elaborate and maybe simplified. Perhaps have some reports already populated.

Comments: I started using iCims after using Cyber Recruiter. While I like both for basic recruiting needs I found that running any sort of report was much easier using iCims. The ease and functionality are far superior.

Pros: Ability to run reports.

Cons: A cleaner user interface would be nicer.

Recommendations to other buyers: Good for companies with 100 or more employees. Smaller companies may find it to be more than they need.

Comments: I use the iCIMS tool frequently in my role as an account manager at a staffing company. While my company itself doesn't utilize iCIMS, one of my major clients uses the tool for all candidate submissions to job requirements. I've been using the tool for about 6 months and can say that it is not the easiest tool to use. I much prefer the tool that my company uses internally, Bullhorn.

Pros: I like that iCIMS allows me to make candidate profiles within the system and submit the candidate to multiple job requirements without having to re-enter any information. This has the potential to be a big time saver for companies that often submit the same candidate to multiple requisitions.

Cons: The interface could definitely undergo a makeover; while functional, iCIMS is not interesting to look at whatsoever. I have also found that it can be a bit of a pain to enter information about candidates to the extent that iCIMS requires. For example, to make a candidate profile, you need to have the correct address and phone number of a candidate. While we usually have the phone number on hand, I usually have to hound people to give me their address quickly so I can submit them in a timely manner.

Recommendations to other buyers: iCIMS has the potential to be a great tool, but I would consider other options at this time. It is certainly not my favorite time of the day when I need to log into iCIMS.

Comments: It's very easy to use and navigate through the system once you are familiar with everything. Although the system can be a little cumbersome at first.

Pros: The implementation was practically seamless and customer support has been responsive. Very easy to manage from an administrative standpoint.

Cons: After the system has had an updated things go a little haywire and it's hard to navigate through the system sometimes.

Recommendations to other buyers: Have a thorough and very specific understanding of what you'll need from the software, who your users will be and the specific workflow for your different types of hires.

Comments: I am an iCIMS Administrator at a company with 1500 employees and the ability to customize all aspects of the system is great. I'm able to put locks on what hiring managers can see and what different login groups have access to. The reporting capability is robust however, we would like more visually pleasing graphs for the hiring managers. iCIMS is integrated with our payroll software and it's seamless. I really don't have any complaints about iCIMS.

Pros: Easy to use, Customization, Help Desk is always helpful.

Cons: Reporting should be more visually pleasing.

Comments: I have been using iCims for about a year now and I'm not really impressed. The software is not very user-friendly and hardly any of my hiring managers can figure out how to use the product. I am limited on how many hiring managers can be set up with log-ons which isn't great for us. I wish there were opportunities for us to come train in person because I'm sure there are features I'm missing that just don't stand out right off the bat. This product is also really pricey for what we use it for.

Pros: Stores information and allows you to move applicants through hiring process with good notes section

Cons: Cost, ease-of-use, lack of training opportunities

Recommendations to other buyers: You will need to have several training sessions for your hiring managers unless they are computer-savvy; in which case they may be fine with a quick tutorial.
