### "Good Website platform for Corporate Use"

November 6, 2020

5.0

Overall WordPress is a good web platform, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a clean-looking web platform that can be used in a corporate environment. Or as a personal site, if you like having the ease of drag and drop, and also wanting some of the coding capabilities.

Pros

What I like about WordPress is that once you get used to the back-end layout, it is a fairly easy platform to navigate and work. Also, the front-end of the platform has a clean look.

Cons

What I like the least is that WordPress mixes HTML, JAVA, PHP, and drag and drop capability. The Drag and Drop are what mist users are able to access, and if you have web design experience you can access the HTML, Java, and PHP coding, but it's not easily accessible.

### "Best engine for small websites"

April 9, 2019

5.0

We're running 2 websites on WP and on one of them (the one with the newer template), we managed to get a Google page speed score average of 70 on mobile, which is nice, but still not perfect. WP is a top pick for any small business or anyone who's just getting into creating websites.

Pros

It's universal. Wordpress sites are used by businesses of all sizes across all industries. It's great that you can open the admin console of any WP site for the first time, and you won't be completely lost even after a few minutes. Must-learn for digital communication professionals.

Cons

There are some silly things like page speed optimization that will be harder for WP sites, especially for themes with visual front-end editing function. Another thing is that our Google Analytics code keeps getting deleted from the header after every update, which is quite annoying to have to add it manually every time. Then again, that issue may be related to the theme and not WP itself.

### "Simply Flexible!"

January 17, 2019

5.0

Pros

My first writing Job introduced me to wordpress. As a beginner,i was able to easily access online classes and tutorials which guided me to becoming a pro i am today. It is super flexible .It has a large user community and codebase that helps consumers to adapt with changing progress and also in tackling some of problems. It's super easy to use and one can easily create their own websites and blogs according to their personal preference.

Cons

The self hosted version of wordpress can be pretty little tricky as you have to deal with all the ups and downs of managing and operating ones' own wordpress website such as restriction on the type of plugins one can use and lack of control over hosting specification. But for one willing to lift off facing this burden, must part with a monthly fee which will help escape the hardwork and enjoy the fully hosted version .This monthly cost can be discouraging.

### "Wordpress is the stuff"

November 29, 2020

5.0

My overall experience is pretty good, I am very pleased with the software and it's grown with me. I prefer it the way it was before but the people thought of everything so there is also a plugin for that. Very satisfied and looking forward to new features.

Pros

Wordpress is very easy to use, there are countless videos online and blogs about using it. It has endless features and is compatible with loads of plugins. It's open source and if you know CSS you can easily customize it to your needs. An overall magnificent product.

Cons

There are close to none bad qualities for this software. The first few days (like with any software) you will be exploring the functions, it takes some time to get used to and find your way around it.

### "My best choice for a personal/small company website"

March 20, 2018

4.0

Pros

This open source CMS is pretty much a standard. Installation is very easy if you work in web development, and if you don't, it's so widespread that you'll find tutorials if you want to learn, otherwise many providers have automated installation tools (e.g. Softaculous) that make everything a matter of few clicks. Updates of Wordpress and installed plugins also need only a click. The software in itself is very clean, from the code up to the interface. There are so many templates that you'll probably want to stick with the most famous ones instead of spending days checking everyone. However you can easily preview them, even with your own content. For common needs SEO is taken care of without any configuration from the webmaster. For the more advanced needs there is an incredible amount of plugins, some free, some paid, that extend the functionalities up to e-commerce, but again, the free ones might satisfy the needs of many. Going with Wordpress.com you get some basic analytics tools that can be fun for personal use.

Cons

The large community means that there are lots of plugins and templates, but probably only 10% of them are worth considering. If with templates you may judge by yourself, for some plugins you should aim at quality, or the performance will degrade soon. Also, incompatibility can create problems and some plugins might change the database irreversibly. Security might need some more attention in the configuration (especially the login part). Wordpress.com hosting is pretty expensive, there are cheaper solutions.

### "The ease of creating on the web"

January 29, 2019

4.0

Pros

WordPress is a platform that has been known for a long time for making web designs with greater ease and beauty. It was created as the simplest tool for blogging, however, WordPress has had an evolution over time. From being a simple field to design web pages or blogs, now it has become a specialized application for commercial pages, and each day its development is noted with the implementation of more elements that serve one to continue expanding a range of possibilities at the moment of creating and designing. One of the main characteristics is its simplicity, which is quite pleasant for the user when focusing on the creation of a portal on the Internet. Nowadays, any designer who wants to develop their web portal, should have WordPress as one of their options, since it provides everything you need to start successfully making your way into communication 2.0. To make matters worse, the program has adapted to the times. An example of this is their constant updates, in which they implement new tools to add during the gestation of the portal. For example, as they do with widgets, plugins, templates and themes that are constantly added with a greater number of variables to give the user the possibility of having a range of options that are very important to give free rein to their creation. WordPress is undoubtedly the ideal way to start creating, designing, a web portal. Do not think about it and start working with this application that is extremely simple in its operation.

Cons

WordPress has a lot of competition. To its favor it has the fame that it has built, but it is very probable that a professional wants to enjoy this service, having in market other options much better. Of course, his fame has not been earned by doing things wrong, on the contrary, it is an ideal way to start designing web content, but currently there are better ones that have a lot more content.

### "Wordpress, the best CMS for both tech and non tech savyy users"

October 10, 2018

5.0

I have so far designed over 50 websites for my clients and still counting. My portfolio and blog website was built with WordPress for over 3 years now with no issues.

Pros

As a web developer, I always recommend WordPress to my clients for their projects. WordPress has 1000's of plugins and themes to help achieve any kind of project. I use it to create all kinds of websites such as eCommerce, personal, corporate, events, schools etc As a non tech savvy, you can easily make changes with their neatly looking and easy to navigate dashboard such as blog post, creating of pages, changing images for gallery etc.

Cons

Every CMS platform has its own security issues which WordPress is no exception. Due to the large number of users of WordPress, hackers turn to exploits the third party themes and plugins installed on your WordPress site for vulnerabilities. In that case I always get notification of people trying to login to my website

### "Per un blogger, è essenziale!"

November 11, 2020

5.0

### "WordPress is great for artists, start ups and building a portfolio"

July 8, 2019

5.0

Pros

WordPress is one of the oldest platforms for blogging but also cheap website tools. WordPress is very user friendly, though I'll admit that I almost grew up with WordPress (I was a teenager when first introduced) and I had tinkered with similar sites in the early 2000s so it comes very second nature to me, but I've helped friends and family members navigate it and people who are not tech savvy can pick things up pretty quickly. There's a lot of tutorials and videos on Youtube. I'd be careful though since WordPress has gone through some updates so some tutorials may be outdated. WordPress its self has a lot of helpful tutorials too. There are some easier sites, like if you just want a blog, Blogger is pretty good and Medium is really blowing up or even Tumblr if you are image based, and they are much easier to navigate, especially for newer people to these types of platforms. WordPress offers a lot more customization though and a very easy and affordable method to go from a free WordPress to a personalized '.com', '.org', and '.edu'. I really enjoy this. I like how WordPress has really grown with the times and offers a lot of features, even for just the free version. WordPress is great at both an entry point and for people who want to build sites from scratch. I use mine for a gaming related blog and a blog on art and the community that builds from this platform is very rich. After about 20 posts, I started to get a lot of hits and followers :)

Cons

Changing themes can sometimes really through stuff off. I've had to redo some pages and external links because my tools got messed up after changing a theme.

### "WordPress review"

March 13, 2020

5.0

Pros

The user interface and experience is both flexible and satisfactory, WordPress is the best content management system on the internet and it is suprisingly free to use, it comes with thousands of free themes templates and plugins to help its functionality, you can use WordPress from just creating an online portfolio to greater task like social connections and online community, WordPress has its support website or forum where you get to learn about how to use WordPress for anything, I like this platform so much because it is free to use forever, doesn't take time to install or set up. I've been using WordPress for years now... And i like almost everything about it, plus the bugs are fixed in it to protect your website from attackers and malware's.

Cons

Although WordPress is fast, but it's main code is the php and this slows website due to the weight, apart from this... I'm good with wp.

### "the best CMS. "

May 15, 2018

4.0

Ideal to handle a unique page design, excellent responsive handling without much fuss. Due to the flexibility, I do not have to insist on whether it is suitable for most customers.

Pros

Wordpress is easy to use, it has so much functionality and integration with many services or other platforms that it becomes a complete tool to be used, I like how many themes and add-ons already exist, which makes it possible to create a website without needing to know everything there is to know about coding. WordPress also allows to locate the information in chronological order, which is beneficial for those who evaluate the content of the website, since it facilitates the audit. The management of this platform is simple and for beginners it is ideal because it does not deserve so much technical knowledge to carry out the objectives, i also love that WordPress provides a good preview option, so you can see your work before publishing it for the world to see. It's a good and powerful combination of features.

Cons

Visual changes are sometimes blocked in a more complex coding language such as PHP, which can be difficult to work for someone with a limited amount of coding knowledge. Many of the widgets do not work or they will slow down the site, so there is some trial and error there.

### "generally positive. I was able to create and run professional looking blogs in very little time"

May 20, 2018

4.0

Pros

Ease of use: Its very easy to set up a hosted blog. Something that's very helpful for a new person. I've also used to paid version of WordPress and the experience was quite positive. Migrating from a free to a paid WordPress blog was is also quite seamless I love that the blogs look so professionally done meaning that a person without an IT background can run and manage a very nice website. The plugins are also a godsend. Normal site management requires one to almost be an IT and marketing genius but the plugins really take away the headache involved with things like SEO, Security, UI design, digital marketing etc, allowing one to concentrate on what is really important - the content.

Cons

The customer care isn't very helpful especially for newbies. I had a really hard time looking for help in the forums. More often than not, I was left to figure it out myself and/or look for a plugin. I just wish that one could get better help in the forums The free WordPress blogs could use more features and greater level of customization than is currently available. They should improve page load speeds or give users more control over such things I would really love to see a larger number of themes especially for the free sites

### "Extremely customizable design, features, and functionalities. "

October 19, 2022

5.0

Pros

I like WordPress because it's easy to use, it has a lot of great features and the design is customizable. It's the most popular website builder on the web and it's one of the best options for creating a website. The great thing about WordPress is that you have complete control over the design and features of your website. It's used by some of the biggest companies in the world, And the best part? It's free. WordPress has a massive community of developers and designers working to create thousands of plugins and themes that you can easily add to your site. There are also tons of amazing SEO plugins that will help your site rank higher in search engines.

Cons

You will need coding knowledge to manage and troubleshoot issues with WordPress.

### "WordPress Continues to Lead..."

February 15, 2019

5.0

WordPress is WordPress (WP) continues to lead the pack in the CMS space. It's easy to use, flexible, scalable...and free! Though not perfect for every application or use case, WP is by far the best for content driven websites and custom solutions and features can be nearly limitless.

Pros

1\. Works wonderfully for small-medium-large businesses alike. 2. Best content driven website CMS. 3. Most customizable (aside from custom HTML I suppose). 4. Largest community of supporters. 5. Limitless plugins and developers reduces the need to create custom code for already-solved solutions. 6. FREE. 7. Continues to be improved regularly by its parent company.

Cons

1\. Not always the best solution, for ecommerce builds specifically. There are solutions that can work in WP, though at a certain point other solutions are better suited for ecommerce depending on your needs. 2. May be falling behind in terms of user friendliness on the editing side (ie - not drag and drop).

### "Wordpress is reliable platform for website building"

September 17, 2018

5.0

I use Wordpress exclusively with clients who want me to host, design and develop their website. Wordpress is constantly being improved, it's reliable and is easier to customize with the latest Wordpress updates. Where I used to have to make changes using html and php code, now Wordpress has a Customizer and there are additional plugins that can be used for further refinements and customizability.

Pros

Wordpress developers are constantly working behind the scenes to keep their website platform up-to-date and secure. In addition there are many independent developers who produce plugins that make Wordpress easy to customize. Because Wordpress links seamlessly with social media my client's blog content gets pushed automatically to their social media pages thereby saving them from having to repost everywhere.

Cons

While you can set up Wordpress to auto-update many of the Wordpress plugins are not set up that way and some routine maintenance is required once a website is up and running.

### "Best website builder"

Always a joy using WordPress, I recommend all my clients use them.

Pros

I have used WordPress in my personal capacity, for freelance clients, and as part of an administrator for a large national org and there is no better program. If you've never built a website before they make it super easy with templates, if you have lots of web design experience, you can customize the heck out of things. I love it.

Cons

Sometimes I do find myself in a bit of a plugin rabbit hole as I am mostly a self-taught web designer but WordPress support is always more than helpful if I run into an issue.

Pros

I absolutely love the huge library of themes you can use to enhance you blog or website. It’s also perfect for blogging as it easy to add contents and edit pages.

### "All about the best blogging platform "

February 9, 2019

5.0

Wordpress is the best platform to building a new websites, anyone can use the platform without any problems.really, I am very satisfied with wordpress.

Pros

Hello, I'm a web designer & developer, I've been starting to use Wordpress in 2012, now I have many experiences in Wordpress platform, it is the best platform using to building new websites without any difficulty. One of the things I like about the WordPress platform is ease of use, for anyone who does not know anything about web development can use Wordpress without any problems. A lot of professional and amateur developers use Wordpress platform because it's very sample and easy. By using the Wordpress platform, you can create a blog that is completely professional with your favorite colors; you can insert pictures and videos, and control the color and size of the text of any way you like.

Cons

One of the worst things about the Wordpress platform is the hackers' interest in this platform, because it is the most used platform in the world, as well as being open source and thus the blog is more vulnerable to attacks by hackers. In addition of the process of updating Wordpress can be difficult, If your site has many of plugins on your site, because You are forced to update the plugins one by one every week.

### "Wordpress is the industry standard"

May 2, 2019

4.0

My overall experience is good with Wordpress. But if you are VERY non-techy, you will have a steep learning curve.

Pros

Seemingly to be the most popular platform for blogging, Wordpress is easy to upload my images and other media. I also love that it has an app that I can use when I'm on the go. I like that I can customize a lot of features, and the choice of free themes is pretty decent (which I used for 7 years). The choice of plugins is endless too, so I can even customize my experience more.

Cons

Some of the organization can be confusing, especially when it comes to how plugins integrate with Wordpress. In general, there's a huge learning curve in the beginning as to how to change themes, etc. I wish there were a handy HELP button always available on the side. I also believe that Wordpress is prone to malware - one of my websites was hacked right away, so I had to fork up $200 to get it cleaned up by Sucuri.

### "Best Value for Quality Websites and Hosting"

September 25, 2018

5.0

I used Wordpress years ago for a blog, and loved the platform. But then tried other site builders for a bit, until finding my way back to Wordpress with my agency. I was happy with the software for the price and the more I got used to the new look and feel the more comfortable it all became...really took me back to my days with my blog.

Pros

Beautiful website builder and reliable hosting. I switched my agency site to Wordpress two years ago and have been impressed with the site speed, customization and cost. As I dig more into the back-end I'm finding other ways to customize my site and maximize the Wordpress platform. Using a nice parrallax theme that looks very professional and eye-catching. Though still easy to use for the user.

Cons

Since Wordpress had changed a lot in my time away from the platform, it took me a while to find my way around. Though I like having the easy editor and the full editor, I feel like it adds confusion that doesn't need to be there.

### "If you want to grow your business. , Having a WordPress site is must. "

May 16, 2019

5.0

For the longest time I wanted to build a website, and I finally did, all thanks to WordPress and its easier process. I always delayed the website creation coz I thought It was difficult but all I have to do is download a zip file from there official website and one or two easy processes and then start designing your website. In WordPress, you can set up a website for your business or for a personal blog. You can build your website from scratch or get one of the templates. There are Infinite no of themes available. Also, there are infinite no of plugins to build your site, to design your site, to make your website fast, to make your website unique. There are plugins for every freaking thing that you need help with. I started my Travel Blog that I always wanted and WordPress was a big help for that. Writing a blog is easy as there is already template build to write i.e You just have to add the title and start writing in the description box given. You can also save a draft and come back to continue your writing. One of the great thing about using WordPress is you don't have to create sitemap as one of the plugins in WordPress does it for you. Also when you have to write meta description, meta title and keyword there is no hassle of going into coding and there is plugin name Yoast SEO that helps you with it. As I said earlier website creation is very easy if you use WordPress.

Pros

What I like about WordPress is anyone can easily create a website seating at home, Its that easy to implement. You don't need to watch a 2 hours long tutorial. If you know the basic you can easily get to the designing part.

Cons

There are thousands of themes in a WordPress and its good and all but what I dislike about it is that whenever I try to install new themes, all the data, all the designing I did on the previous theme get lost. I'd very much like to change that.

### "The Best Blogging Platform for Bloggers"

October 6, 2021

5.0

I highly recommend Wordpress. It is user friendly and you can find support almost anywhere online. It is also free and it is updated regularly so wouldn't be concerned with hackers trying to hack your site. Although I still recommend to use a plugin to protect your website and not rely solely alone with Wordpress. Even a newbie will find Wordpress easy to use.

Pros

I have been using wordpress since I started blogging in 2007. Wordpress is an open source content management system or CMS and it is 100% free. It is user friendly and it is updated regularly. First, I like this app because it is free. Second, this app is updated regularly so you are confident that hackers will not be able to exploit this app. Another thing I like is, tutorials on how to use this app is everywhere. You will ever run out of support. Just Google what you need and you can find all solution from bloggers and video makers on Youtube. Wordpress is also easily backed-up and in case you want to change hosting, Wordpress is easy to transfer or migrate. Since this app is heavily supported, you will never run out of plugins and themes that will amke your website look better and perform better.

Cons

None so far. I have never encountered any problems using this app.

### "Most Feature Packed CMS"

November 29, 2018

4.0

The user base is so large, a third of the web uses WordPress. I highly recommend using WP if you wish to greatly customize your website. With some security plugins, you can harden it to be fairly secure.

Pros

WordPress is so extendable. There is probably already a plugin for whatever you wish to do. And if not, there is probably a market for selling your idea. Gutenburg, despite lots of concerns, is the future of designing posts and pages, and soon, it will be easier than ever to edit your theme via Gutenburg blocks. I am happy about this and the move toward more user oriented UX.

Cons

Legacy code and features drag it down from a software engineer's perspective. As WordPress officially still supports PHP 5.2, you cannot use classes, etc. Also, until Gutenburg improves, too much customization of your theme requires a page builder theme or knowing CSS, HTML, PHP, and JavaScript. There are tons of themes out there to choose from though.
