### "El mejor CMS"

December 3, 2024

5.0

Pros

### "Wordpress is Customizable to a Fault"

November 20, 2024

4.0

WordPress is powerful and flexible but can feel bloated and overwhelming at times. While great for customization, I’ve been exploring simpler alternatives like Ghost or microblog platforms.

Pros

It’s easy to set up and highly customizable, making it great for both personal and professional projects.

Cons

It’s resource-heavy, with an overwhelming number of plugins and extensions that can be distracting. Some complex theming plugins add unnecessary frustration.

Alternatives considered

[Ghost](https://www.capterra.com/p/151947/Ghost/)

Reason for choosing WordPress

I needed something a little more simple and straightforward. This was only for my personal blog. My side business is still hosted on a pleasantly clean Wordpress installation.

### "Easy to use & navigate even for non-developers "

March 24, 2025

4.0

Its been good. I am not a web developer but part of the marketing team \[of a small business\] so i occasionally do need to get in the back end to blog, or make landing pages, or figure out how to setup APIs with outside platforms. And i am able to do these basic things.

Pros

Its easy to navigate, build-out a basic site, and add new plugins

Cons

Overall I dont have issues with it. I don't build out pages in HTML or handle domain setup nor do I handle the technical SEO so I don't get too deep into using worpress for tasks related to those area.

I have been using WordPress for about 8 years now, and I have had to set-up many styles of websites with various functionality. Great product.

Cons

Their partnerships with other under-performing companies.

### "My favorite blogging/writing platform "

October 26, 2024

5.0

I have been using WordPress for almost four years now both for websites that I have worked for in the past and for my website and I have loved everything about it since day one. It is so easy to use and there's so many different options that you can choose from to customize everything just the way you want it.

Pros

WordPress is so easy to use, even for beginners. I love all of the different customization options that are provided for designing your website along with all of the different blocks to choose from when writing on WordPress and another thing I love about using WordPress is the ability to schedule posts which comes in handy for articles that are written in the middle of the night, I can schedule them for the next morning when more people will see them.

Cons

I can't really think of any cons with WordPress off the top of my head.

Overall I believe it is worth learning how to use word press. Especially if you are a beginner it is easy to use and work with.

Pros

It is great for beginners that are learning. This program also allowed you to write HTML, CSS and the things that complete them.

Cons

I would like. program that other sites use and wordpress sites are average of 40 percent of what's on the web.

The whole idea of using Wordpress seems easy and so doing a basic site is okay abut then doing somwhturn that you want It to do shouldn’t be so hard but it usually is.

Pros

Great for SEO and setting up but not always easy to do automations with and using certain themes.

Cons

Making WordPress work like I want or expect to is something that happens after buying a domain and setting up a site.

### "One of a few relevant options, maybe not my 1st choice"

October 8, 2025

3.0

Pros

Wordpress was the first platform I used for software/web design/website integration but over the years I feel as though the functionality and integration are not as superior as other platforms.

Cons

Ease of use/integration. Not as simple to build and make changes to website as if using another competing platform (i.e. Squarespace)

### "The best website platform "

December 16, 2024

5.0

Brilliant! I use it with Elementor which allows me to create websites with a drag and drop page builder. There’s a plugin for just about everything so it’s a great option if you know you’ll be expanding one day and want to make sure you’ll have the option to integrate new features.

Pros

It’s so versatile. There’s literally nothing you can’t do on the platform with a plugin and some code. It’s definitely the the most popular web platform for a reason.

Cons

It can be a bit overwhelming if you’re not much of a techie person. And you really need to be on it with keeping the site updated .

Switched from

[Squarespace](https://www.capterra.com/p/143461/Squarespace/)

I needed more customisation options. Squarespace was very limited in the customisation department. And you could tell a squarespace website because all the templates kind of look the same.

### "Most customizable website building platform there is!"

November 14, 2024

4.0

Overall WordPress is worth exploring if you want a super custom website and are willing to put in the time to learn the platform.

Pros

What I like most about using WordPress for my website is that it gives infinite possibilities for customization.

Cons

What I like least about WordPress is that there is a pretty big learning curve when you don't know anything about building a website yet. It could possibly be one of the least intuitive software out there.

### "Probably the best CMS solution in the market."

December 20, 2024

4.0

My overall experience with Wordpress as a professional web developer is great. It allows me to create custom templates easily and give me clients a solid CMS to manage their content. It's not very easy to learn how to create custom themes and plugins but once you do, the possibilities are endless.

Pros

In general, it's a great CMS system. What I like the most about Wordpress its huge collection of plugins and how easy it is to customize the templates.

Cons

Unfortunately, sometimes its performance is not so good but with some technical skills you can improve it a lot.

### "Wordpress - Our Sales Team"

March 19, 2026

We continue to see good to excellent performance and customer comments have been positive with the exception of how page layout is vertical (scroll) and lengthy.

Pros

Wordpress continues to provide good service, automatic updates and flawless up-time performance and reports.

Cons

Templates are not as flexible or modern looking as we would like. To move from one template to another seems cumbersome and time consuming.

### "My honest reviews on wordpress."

December 14, 2024

WordPress gave me total control over my presence on the internet. I have the ability to independently enhance features, update content, and manage my website, which will save me both time and money over time.

Pros

WordPress is ultimately flexible and high customization. There are plenty of Plugins & Themes and I can style my website for any purpose, from a single blog post to a fully functioning membership site.

Cons

Beginners may find it a bit daunting at the initial setup and learning curve. You'll need a bit of technical know-how to handle updates, security, and performance.

### "CMS with almost endless possibilities"

October 6, 2025

5.0

As a self-taught user, I find WordPress really good. The menus are very logically structured and with a little reading you quickly understand the structure. Thanks to the plugins, WordPress can be adapted to practically all needs and is therefore an optimal solution for professional users.

Pros

The value for money is great - you basically get a free Content Management Software that is customizable beyond your dreams. Espacially when used with Elementor or other plugins.

Cons

Can be strenous at times, updates sometime break plugins so be careful. Don't forget that wordpress is baseline free, but plugins can cost money.

### "WordPress - easy to manage every website"

November 30, 2024

5.0

Is the most versatile CMS that you can use to create a website nowadays, is has many powerful customization options and many already made themes and plugins that you can use to create the perfect website. For beginners is simple to use and customize, allowing to easily create and manage a simple website.

Pros

I use WordPress especially because SEO is easy to manage. Using SEO plugins we can easy rank our products and articles on search engines. Another thing that I need to mention is the customizability, with available themes and plugins is easy to get the website work and look as you need.

Cons

If you want more customization the costs can add up with different premium themes and plugins.

Cons
