### "WordPress is a content manager used to create web sites"

July 19, 2018

4.0

In my daily tasks to edit and add content on the websites of the companies in which I have worked.

Pros

Depending on the project to develop the free version of WordPress can be an excellent alternative to develop your web portal or blog, both personal and company, is extremely friendly and easy to use in terms of editing texts in your input and images. If your project is more ambitious and you do not want to have limitations in terms of themes and installation of plugins you can choose the paid version.

Cons

WordPress in its free version have limitations that eventually lead you to change your paid version to install the necessary plugins and themes that make your blog or website more attractive to the user

### "WordPress Still First Choice for Websites"

March 27, 2019

4.0

I've tried other platforms to have my websites on and time and time again WordPress always wins. Of course WordPress is simply the foundation that you need to build your website on, but that foundation is strong. Every time someone inquires about who they should make a website with, I always suggest WordPress.

Pros

I LOVE the flexibility having a WordPress website has. With thousands of plugins and integrations, you can set up your website however you dream. Also WordPress has been around for such a long time so it is one of the most trusted platforms out there.

Cons

WordPress can be a bit intimidating as it was for me when I began. However, with a few YouTube videos and some instructional reading you can get a good grip on the ends and outs of this platform.

### "One of the most complete and serious soft to build a website."

September 12, 2021

4.0

It takes me just a few minutes to edit my pages, to create ones, and mantain my website working. It is perfect for this job!

Pros

I like the common template to update or create a new webpage; it is easy, simple, fast. Tools for design are just enough but could be better, even Word has more options for templates and designs.

Cons

It´s a little "basic" for design a web, but it´s a lot more functional.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing WordPress

I think other web builders perhaps are more atractives, but WordPress are more functional that the majority.

### "So much more than a blogging platform"

August 1, 2019

5.0

Pros

Love how easy it is to put together a nice, simple site. But, there is so much more it can do. The amount of plugins available is incredible. We've used WP for simple sites, membership sites, learning management systems, and more. It's a great foundation to allow developers create a lot of functionality, and regular editors create / manage the site content without HTML/JS/CSS knowledge.

Cons

Updates are the most difficult part of using WordPress. When using a bunch of plugins, a WP core update will very likely break some of them. It can be very tough to keep up with updates on the core and plugins. Also, the media manager isn't as streamlined and user friendly as it could be.

### "Stage with the best devices for website architecture."

January 25, 2020

5.0

Without a doubt Wordpress conforms to every one of the highlights that guarantee others to permit you to begin with a free form which is entrancing and overly proficient. At the point when you need to make the best site pages to advance your substance and material this is the demonstrated, doable and overly simple to utilize apparatus. Actually, I think about that Wordpress is an instrument that we should all know more if your emphasis is on Marketing.

Pros

Wordpress magnificent device with the best creation philosophy. I love the treatment of the stage since it is not much, excessively creative and practical. What I enjoyed most is that it has the best devices to make site pages in the simplest manner since you don't have to have or be a software engineer so your experience is certain and practical it is truly ensured that all work finished with wordpress will be of value and an elevated level of demonstrable skill.

Cons

So far it has been an apparatus of constructive utility in the entirety of its faculties and by and by has not exhibited any trouble that figures out how to influence me, anyway it is acceptable to realise that so as to appreciate a lot more segments of this stage a sum must be paid by the Considerations of the organisation that will utilise it might be high. However, it is acceptable to feature that in spite of the cost it is a venture that merits doing since it meets every one of the highlights it guarantees.

### "A great choice for any website no matter your size."

May 7, 2018

5.0

Pros

Wordpress is a great platform for creating websites, I've used other software in the past and always come back to wordpress, it works well and I currently have over 7 websites all built on Wordpress. The ability to make websites with all different abilities and still have the core Wordpress framework in the back end is great. The ability to add a huge variety of plugins and themes easily really does help you create the site that you want. Documentation is great, and there are lots of resources to help you if you ever get stuck.

Cons

There is nothing I can think of off the top of my head, I really do like Wordpress that much. Give it a go and see why so many people use it.

### "WordPress demystifies the process of building a blog or website and makes it easy"

September 5, 2018

5.0

Pros

WordPress provides an incredibly user-friendly platform for the less techy yet still hands-on users to create and customize highly functional blogs and websites. The robust features of WordPress itself as well as the vast array of free functionality available in the form of 'Plugins' makes it truly invaluable.

Cons

Being one of the most widely used platforms in the world makes it a bit of a target for spam and hacking. With that said, there is constantly testing and active development going on to detect and patch vulnerabilities before they are exploited and they do an excellent job of it. Just have to stay on top of any WP or plugin updates when using WordPress and you'll be fine.

### "Incredible Online Posting System"

February 27, 2020

5.0

As a whole, any individual or organization that seeks to streamline content production through a singular product should seek out Wordpress. It's quick, easy to navigate, and powerful.

Pros

As the content manager at our internet company that revolves around creating and posting daily viral content, Wordpress makes the job super easy. Their "block" system or arranging content is a perfect example of WYSIWYG (what you see if what you get). Additionally, their arrangement of historical posts is easy to filter and review. All in all, there's a reason why Wordpress is used by 75 million sites.

Cons

While the content editor is overall fantastic, small bugs or glitches can occasionally annoy anyone that has to deal with the system. Moving blocks of content will simply become a chore when the system decides to behaves as it wants, leaving your content in the same location or placing it between its original location and its intended location. Secondly, I wish I had the ability to better visualize or better manage the work roles of my team.

### "WordPress Blues?"

January 5, 2021

4.0

It's okay, It's more popular than our proprietary CMS, but is it better? I thought it would be. But still figuring it out. Different quirks.

Pros

It's user friendly basically, easy to add text, images, saving, the settings are easy to find and use.

Cons

Where do I start? Boots a user out when someone else tries to log in, therefore not saving the initial work the first user had done. Also, the image size options don't work properly.

### "Wordpress is a great choice for publishing"

February 15, 2019

4.0

Wordpress delivers what it promises, an accessible publishing experience that is extensible in the extreme.

Pros

Wordpress has a lot of internal consistency. You learn to do one thing in one area and you can move that information forward to almost every aspect of working with the software. There is a rich ecosystem of third party contributors who extend the capability of the software to the point that there's very little that you might want to do with a website that you can't do with Wordpress.

Cons

Some plug-ins aren't as well produced as they should be and can introduce bugs that can take a website offline. I've had problems with excessive PHP calls on some plug-ins that have caused real problems with uptime.

### "Almost anyone can create and maintain a website"

March 11, 2020

5.0

Once upon a time, I was a webmaster. I learned to code in HTML and Javascript back in the 1990s. Eventually, I was happy to use tools like Dreamweaver and all of its predecessors. Eventually, I stopped doing web development, and then got involved in a project where a consultant was developing a site for my company, using WordPress. Once she was done, I inherited the upkeep of the site from her. It took a while for me to learn, but I have to say, it couldn't be simpler. She gave me a one-page instruction sheet, and I've learned everything else about maintaining the site from the considerable online resources. WordPress will allow a moderately technically competent person to create a robust, manageable website. If you are very techie, you will be able to develop sites that would otherwise take you many hours of time, in a much more manageable timeframe. That said, it is not "set and forget": You need to be diligent about keeping WordPress and its operating environment up to date -- our webhost has had more issues with sloppy and negligent webmasters allowing malware and other attacks through poor WordPress site management, than any other cause. If you are willing and able to put in the time, it is a great environment!

Pros

Wordpress combines a well-designed user interface, with ease of use, and powerful features to create a website creation environment almost anyone can use.

Cons

Security is the biggest concern, in that it is easy for a non-technical user to create a site that can be attacked. Extensions and plug-in management can get tricky. Media management does not provide tools for cleaning up large media libraries, so it's easy to end up with duplicate files, multiple sizes, etc.

### "Affordable and Intuitive CMS"

May 17, 2019

5.0

Mostly positive. It's a cheap and easy platform for launching professional-quality blogs and websites.

Pros

Wordpress makes it possible for ANYONE to easily create, design, and launch a blog/website. For the most part, it is pretty easy to use, providing you with design and publishing tools to help you easily craft the aesthetic of your site to your liking and consistently publish content. I also love how there are pricing plans to help you pick the option that is most suitable for you.

Cons

I wish the SEO tools were available in all paid plans. SEO is such a critical marketing tool, so it's a shame that it's only available in the most expensive plan. Same goes for other plugins. I understand why Wordpress has it structured this way, but I think there should be some plugins you can add in the lower-tiered packages. Lastly, there option to edit CSS should absolutely be available in less expensive plans. It makes no sense to gate that functionality behind the most expensive plan. If I have the skillset, I should have the ability to make CSS changes myself, regardless of what plan I am on.

### "Excellent CMS"

September 26, 2019

4.0

It's a great CMS, if you know PHP well. It drastically cuts down on development costs because it is open source. Overall good CMS. I would highly recommend use for startup to intermediate-level websites.

Pros

The big community that constantly develops and releases new versions of plugins. Ease-of-use when it comes to making custom themes

Cons

The best and higher quality plugins you need for your website cost too much.

### "I'm Sold, Wordpress is Awesome"

August 16, 2018

5.0

I started designing websites when we had to type in the code by hand in a basic word editor. Now, with Wordpress, everything is just so easy and a website can look good right out of the box. Just install, pick a template and copy and paste your text. Beyond that, modifying templates and adding plugins that expand the usability and features of the site allow a website to become so much more. I can add paid training videos, memberships, groups, and so much more in minutes when this used to take days. I've been able to expand my client base while lowering my workload with this amazing environment.

Pros

Setting up sites, changing themes adding useful features... it's all so easy and it works well. The vast amount of features that I can add to the sites is incredible.

Cons

I only wish that I had learned about Wordpress sooner.

### "The most easiest and scalable one for creating a website/ blog"

January 16, 2019

5.0

It is my routine to update the blogs and perform necessary changes to my website/ company's website. It hardly takes me an hour now to add a blog. I am not a techy-person though I just love to work casue of its ease and available plugins and facilities. Wordpress is a boon for everyone, I must say

Pros

Thinking what to say about it? Wordpress be the best, really the best website development platform. Not thinking to develop a website? It is helpful to create just a blog, too! You may easily install different plugins for your website as it is easily available. SEO, different effects, everything. Non technical person can work on it with a little guidance.

Cons

Nothing to dislike as per my view. sometimes it is difficult to work on the new updated layout.

### "wordpress Features"

December 20, 2019

4.0

I am using WordPress on daily basis means regularly this is very user friendly i am not feeling uncomfortable at any stage so the main strength of WordPress is Efficient for business websites and give lots of features to user or different ways to solve the problem in the shape of themes.

Pros

Basically WordPress is a content management system in which we will make blogs business websites very efficiently and best things is all this process is very simple and easy. Secondly WordPress is very user friendly. Main thing is WordPress is free for use any one can make account on it to get maximum features. Plugins in WordPress helps a lot to make a problem solvable.

Cons

Main issue with WordPress in my point of view is security of WordPress is not appreciable. Websites of word take lot of time load because there server is to busy due free access. WordPress is only efficient for small business websites.

### "Not the easiest or the cheapest, but very robust in terms of finished product. "

February 9, 2021

4.0

So far, it's been good. I've been really satisfied with what the product can do and how well it's met my needs as a small business owner.

Pros

It can do whatever I envision for my website. Through the use of plug ins, etc, I've been able to execute every vision I've had for website creation, updates, changes, etc. It's versatile and robust. My website came out very professional looking, and has been relatively easy to adjust/adapt.

Cons

It took me awhile to figure out how to use it. It's not that intuititve. For awhile, there were some issues with the security features on it (the free security certificate would not auto renew), but they have largely been resolved by the host.

### "Best Blog Hosting Site"

January 15, 2020

5.0

Overall, I have had a really great experience from Wordpress as far as useability, design options, and ease of use. I have learned a lot of HTML/CSS coding that I would not have learned otherwise if I was trying to build a website from scratch or if I was given a turnkey template, like some of the other larger website design/blogging companies. The most major downside for me is that their customer service and readiness to help is very minimal, and so you have to learn how to do the majority of everything yourself, and resolve it for yourself.

Pros

I love that Wordpress makes it so easy to create amazing blog content and backlinks for my website. I am able to fully customize my blog to my exact specifications and can even post affiliate links and ads so that I can generate income from my blog. Because of the back-end editing that Wordpress allows for, I am also able to link my blog posts between my blog and Pinterest, social media, and other bloggers' pages as well, to create backlinks that boost my search engine presence. Wordpress makes the entire experience very easy.

Cons

The customer service side of Wordpress is not great. I have had issues in the past with my domain being compromised and Wordpress was less than helpful to get it resolved. I ended up having to restart my entire design because it had been corrupted and I lost valuable time in posting new content and thus, lost followers on my blog.

Reason for choosing WordPress

I loved the fact that Wordpress was more customizable than some of the other larger companies' sites, including Squarespace. I also appreciate the fact that it is free, so it makes blogging and creating a business brand very cost effective.

### "Excellent piece of software, just a bit slow"

August 1, 2018

5.0

Easy to use, many options and a market standard.

Pros

Wordpress is a game changer. It allows to excel in content marketing and create a business from there. What is the best about it is the huge quantity of plug ins and community that it has. It is impressive and gives a lot of possibilities. Highly recommended unless you have a completely defined project, and are just worried about speed of page load.

Cons

The bad part is that is too slow. There is no way for me to get pages loading under 2 seconds. I think it is more 6 seconds, unless you use very powerful servers. Usually you have to add a theme, at least 10 plug ins and even a Woocommerce extensions if you want to sell. Little Frankestein?

### "I'm a Wordpress Fan and Recommend it to all my clients"

September 6, 2018

5.0

I use WordPress on all of my sites, I've tried other types and just don't like them. I recommend them whenever I'm doing a website consultation, I always upsell WordPress over Squarespace or Wix or others out there. I even have designed course sites on WordPress using plugins that made the site much like a program like Teachable.

Pros

I love being able to link Wordpress up to just about any other tool that I use and help my clients do the same thing. There are so many plugins that it makes things easy to do so much more than just simply blog and upload pictures and videos to your site. You can really create stunning websites with Wordpress and very easily.

Cons

That without knowing how to code you can't change layouts easily or customize themes very easily.

Pros

It's free, open source and high quality. It has thousands of integrations with multiple types of applications and plugins to virtually do anything (from e-commerce to newsletters and CRM).

Cons

It may be hard to use and/or configure if you are not tech-savvy. Taking care of security updates and operations requires a coordinated effort so you blog/website does not get hacked. You need to know what you are doing to manage Wordpress yourself, although there are software providers that offer services to do this for you for a price.

Very useful for sharing weekly news and business related articles on sites. We also use it to create a separate human resources platform. Here we share the necessary criteria of the necessary staff

Pros

You can share ideas and articles you want to share quickly and effortlessly. With the addition of necessary web links and images, it becomes a very useful article sharing web design.

Cons

It can be visually more functional. In general, articles and titles are tep type, which makes it easy to share but lags behind in terms of attractiveness.
