### "Sharing articles and ideas"

December 15, 2019

4.0

Very useful for sharing weekly news and business related articles on sites. We also use it to create a separate human resources platform. Here we share the necessary criteria of the necessary staff

Pros

You can share ideas and articles you want to share quickly and effortlessly. With the addition of necessary web links and images, it becomes a very useful article sharing web design.

Cons

It can be visually more functional. In general, articles and titles are tep type, which makes it easy to share but lags behind in terms of attractiveness.

### "wordpress - our website backbone"

November 21, 2019

5.0

we use it on a daily basis and find it hassle free, easy and intuitive to use and it has some great tools to automate workflow.

Pros

we use wordpress on a daily basis to keep our website updated, it is easily understood and can be done with little experience. due to themes we can tailor wordpress to our needs, and we get a lot of positive feedback form our clients. also wordpress keeps its software updated, so we do not have to worry about security or updates.

Cons

there is not much to say against wordpress. one needs to be an expert to find the right theme, which fiots ones need.

### "Wordpress is super versatile with enough investment"

December 19, 2018

4.0

Pros

Wordpress is a great platform to build your site. The amount of tools it has available really lets you create pretty much anything you want on a website. It is important to note that it does require a lot of customization from additional plugins, sometimes paid, to get everything you might want to build. Also, creating a unique template specific to your vision will require HTML coding for the themes. Overall it offers the features needed to maintain a professional site for most users.

Cons

Navigation on the back-end can be clunky, sometimes sluggish. It requires a lot of support from additional developer plugins to really set up everything you might need to manage your site.

### "A super easy CMS tool with a range of capabilities"

April 17, 2019

4.0

WordPress is a great option for an easy CMS if you don't have a tech/coding background. It's customizable and user-friendly.

Pros

You don't need any coding experience to be able to use WordPress. It's a great CMS with basic to more advanced functions. I've used it at almost every job I've had and have never had any issues. It allows you to post content quickly, easily and reliably, and I didn't encounter any glitches.

Cons

There are different templates to choose from, but any extreme customization or modification does require coding knowledge. You can do plenty with the options available to create a professional site, but if you want something really specific, you would have to put in more time and effort.

### "excellent, I have been able to share all my texts in a professional manner."

June 25, 2018

wordpress gives you the freedom to create and express yourself.

Pros

Wordpress is a free content management system (CMS). that allows you to structure all types of websites for free. Without the need of graphic designers or programmers, in wordpress you can configure your website to your liking. the only thing you need to use wordpress is patience and encouragement to learn. the interface is extremely friendly, everything is very intuitive and simple. Wordpress allows you to make your own website without having to pay for the host and the domain. in my professional experience, I am a columnist for a digital opinion space. I use wordpress as a kind of digital portfolio where I can show all my articles. with wordpress you have the freedom and the possibility of creating useful content, easily and with great quality and professionalism. according to PC Magazine 39% of websites worldwide are powered by wordpress. great, no?

Cons

I truly have nothing negative to say about wordpress. I consider it a very useful and indispensable tool.

### "The easiest software to use for blogging"

March 4, 2021

5.0

I really loved the plugins and the many themes it offers. It is very flexible and makes it easy for me to customize my site and pages: plus I have 100% full ownership of my content.

Pros

Unlike Wix and other software that host your site and content on their servers, making it hard for your to transfer it anywhere else. WordPress gives you full control or ownership of your Data: you can download data from your site. WordPress has a huge selection of plugins which make it easier to add features or functionality to the website, making the website flexible.

Cons

It's not as beginner-friendly as other software, but it's still not so complex to grasp as a beginner. Plus the WordPress community makes it really easy to know your way around the software.

### "Has a learning curve"

February 12, 2020

4.0

Overall Wordpress is great. I'm able to create posts and format them to my liking. It has been able to grow alongside me in terms of my tech-y skills and with my work.

Pros

I have been using Wordpress for about 7 or 8 years. I like that relative ease at being able to craft posts, import photos, and format my website to my liking.

Cons

Sometimes I wish it had easier functionality. Moving different elements around, consistency of fonts.... It's not always an easy fix, or it's difficult to find an explanation to help fix the issue.

Pros

Creating a website with wordpress is a real pleasure. There are plugins to do everything and even those unfamiliar with programming are able to create and maintain a professional website.

Cons

The platform is complete. There are no major difficulties in daily use. Perhaps it should be reviewed in terms of security, but otherwise it does not seem to have too many problems.

### "The Best Content Management Design on The Web!"

December 10, 2018

5.0

Overall I have had a wonderful experience using wordpress to create amazing websites for clients.

Pros

Using Wordpress has been a complete joy, I have been working with the software since 2008. Every year the website creates effective updates that help its users better operate their websites. Its a reason 70% of the web is powered by Wordpress!

Cons

My primary issue is that Wordpress doesn't provide hosting for the websites that are created on its platform which is a major drawback. Countless times I have used other companies to host my website and have either been overcharged or taken advantage of. The worst case happened this year after a hosting company hijacked my website and sold my WP content.

### "Word Press pros & cons"

November 26, 2018

5.0

I am using Wordpress since 2012 with ease. My overall experience is so delightful and smooth.I am wholeheartedly recommend it to use it newcomers and small business owners.

Pros

Wordpress is the best web publishing software for the new starters. It's easy to use and have got so many features which make it possible to personalize your blog or website. Wordpress is very popular among the people because of its flexible structure. You can create any kind of website with Wordpress in a couple of seconds. Wordpress have both a free and premium choices. Personal, premium and business plans are cost effective. Also Wordpress plugins are wide range and help you to create and add features in your website. Lastly Wordpress is designed with PHP with a minimal codes which allows your website to load with minimum latency.

Cons

Wordpress publish so many updates which is essential to run your website. Files, themes and plugins are constantly updated hence it makes you bored after a while. Websites are open to malware and hacks. You need to check it regularly to avoid them.

### "Good for small sites, not so much for large ones"

August 29, 2018

5.0

The open source and free nature of WordPress is both a huge benefit and a detraction. Because it's 'free', the general perception is that it's also easy, secure, and you can do anything with it. And you kind of can, but you still need skills, time, training and resources to do stuff exactly the way you want it instead of how the hundreds (or thousands) of templates out there do it for you. For business or marketing sites that are not doing ecommerce, I highly recommend it. But for ecommerce or sites that will collect sensitive user/customer information, I would seriously consider using something more professional and secure.

Pros

WordPress is free and open source, which is great. There's a bit of a learning curve to doing anything custom or not provided by a template; but it's excellent when you need a quick, small site for business or personal.

Cons

Security is not the best for WordPress. Since a large portion of sites use WordPress, it's a prime target for hackers. If you've set up a WordPress site for your business that does any collection of customer data, you need to spend a lot of time trying to find plugins and ways to lock it down and protect it.

### "The Popular & Super Easy With Multiple Features"

October 16, 2018

5.0

Wordpress is flexible because of there vast platform of themes, plugins and more. Easy to manage without knowing any piece of code. Its not only for blogging, even you can use it for ecommerce, professional, business, services and more.

Pros

I like the WordPress as a top service provider to me for helping to create websites, integrate a lot of features in a very simple way. I can find many design themes and use many plugins too. It gives me a lot of variety to implement without knowing any piece of code. I would definitely recommend to my colleagues.

Cons

Now a days its perfect, because few times back there was a security concern. but now i can plugin who gives me security on my website to save from hackers and negative traffic.

### "Great for basic publishing and complex content management"

July 15, 2018

4.0

Pros

Wordpress adapts to pretty much every use case. Just need to publish a simple site with some pages and blog posts? That's not a problem, and the what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor and simple permissions make it painless to get started. Have more demanding tasks? The wide range of plugins can turn the site into a full-fledged content management system including digital assets, form submissions, and more. I like how Wordpress works with almost any other system we use.

Cons

The open-source nature of Wordpress and its many plugins means there's a fair amount of testing and updating to do - so it's not necessarily something you can set and forget. Security is also a concern.

### "Wordpress is the #1 choice for building a website that has a blog."

April 17, 2020

5.0

Overall I switched to wordpress from squarespace, and later coding my sites by hand. I haven't gone back since. My overall experience is positive. My pages rank on google.

Pros

My favorite thing about wordpress is that it makes SEO and ranking on search engines like google and bing fairly easy, as long as you know what you are doing. There are several SEO plugins which will help you optimize your site fairly easily. Speaking of the plugins, there are thousands of updated plugins to use that will allow you to transform wordpress into anything you need.

Cons

Wordpress feels overwhelming to use if you're just starting out, or returning after a couple of months. You need to know what settings to use, or your pages won't rank easily. You need to know what theme to use to best get your desired result, and what plugins you'll need to get the functionality you need. Plugins are often hit or miss. However, the plugin review system helps a lot.

Before I knew anything about marketing online, square space was there to make the process of getting a website effortless. However, as I learned more I desired the plugins and SEO customization that wordpress allows. Squarespace was more simple, but wordpress more powerful.

### "It's the only option in my opinion"

July 3, 2018

5.0

Wordpress gives us the complete flexibility to implement any idea we come up with, from marketing funnels, to a blog, to staff training. I strongly recommend WP for your next website, we love it.

Pros

There is so much to love; the plugins, the security, the flexibility and the themes. The fact that everything we develop is owned by us is also a big plus, we won't have a company change their fee structure or their terms of service.

Cons

I'm not sure if there is anything, to be honest. Perhaps if you are just getting started or you are building a very simple marketing funnel, you might find it quicker to use a drag and drop landing page platform, but even then WP has a theme for that, and it's really not that hard to learn.

### "Easy and Powerful"

November 21, 2018

4.0

I have been developing websites in WP for almost 3 years now. There have been times where it has been frustrating and painful to work with, but most of the time it is a pleasant experience and a quick Google search reveals that the functionality a client wants in their site has already been programmed and packaged up in a nice little plugin.

Pros

I love all of the features and functionality that come right "out of the box". It has themes, registration, account management, plugins, etc. All the thing that come with it and it is 100% customizable and can be made to do anything that you would ever need it to (with a little programming knowledge)

Cons

It's fast for a CMS, but it's still slow when comparing speeds to a site that is built in straight Laravel.

Pros

It seems to me a very friendly product, easy to use, it is a safe site and suitable for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, it is economical and with good support

Cons

Sometimes you have to buy a plugin to add features or install it for free. Hire a website developer for a better presentation of the site and to leave me with a very nice page

### "Wordpress is just ok"

February 23, 2021

3.0

It was easy to get going and configure how we needed it to work. In the end it just became a jumping off point for more advanced platforms. Many of the plugs are pointless or niche specific and we don't use all that many of them.

Pros

It's free and it will get the job done. You can add on features at a pretty low cost and effort but your milage may vary depending on the age / author and how the features are injected into wordpress.

Cons

It's old guard and slow to evolve and isn't quick to adopt modern software patterns. This leaves is susceptible to bugs and misconfiguration security flaws.

### "We use this software to place our company websites there."

March 30, 2018

4.0

We have managed to activate several websites of our company very easily and in a very short time with a professional quality.

Pros

I like how simple it is for your installation and administration process. It is easy to load new components such as templates or integration accessories. Using MySQL as your Database manager helps the application to be very light and work quickly. Besides its compatibility with Apache is very good, to be able to administer the sites easily. It has very useful editing functions that work in all browsers. When we have installed it on our servers, it is very quick to start it up. We have tried to empty backups on it and they also work very well. In addition to its simple to set up web pages, you do not need to be a great developer to create a good site. The wide availability of templates, in addition to its modernity, help you save time and speed up work. Numerous sites with professional template sales are available, which significantly increases the variety of options. We liked its facility to integrate with systems like mailChimp, to send subscriptions emails.

Cons

I do not like your security, I feel that it should improve since I notice it very basic, especially the administration login. The automatic update activated by default can be positive, but if something goes wrong can cause damage to the website, I think it must be the user who decides to have this option activated. It should improve and be more explanatory at the time it shows the errors in the pages, since it should take you where the error occurs, it would also be useful to indicate in which browser the error occurred.

### "Wordpress - Does it really make things easier?"

December 15, 2019

2.0

Tumultuous at best. I can appreciate everything they are trying to do for people who aren't as code-savvy as they'd like to be, but also, why can't they leave some room for freeware plugins, some people want a good looking site without having to pay absurd amounts of money for it!

Pros

I'd like to start off by saying that yes, for some people wordpress works. It provides a user-friendly interface which lets intermediate-level technology savvy people create a website. You can do away with all the background coding and can get all the bells and whistles of a "real" site. There are plenty of paid plugins available to help enhance the look and feel of your site for end users and many more options you can pay a little extra for to help you out in the background while developing your site.

Cons

First off, I hate the paywalls behind everything! Yes, you can get great looking websites, but you have to pay for practically everything along the way. It's all proprietary, they leave little room for developers to come in and create something unique for you. Plus a lot of the time I've found great plugins that simply weren't compatible with my theme. Very frustrating. Additionally, i found that managing the backend and incorporating new contact can be a bit tedious, especially in the very beginning of the site. It's easier than coding sure, but still requires much of that tedious effort to accomplish what you want out of your site.

### "Mixed Bag"

February 23, 2021

5.0

Overall, wordpress fits my needs. I have a list of plug-ins I use faithfully and can build effectively and efficiently

Pros

As a software developer and designer, Wordpress provides a platform that is a good balance between having the ability to customize my sites and code while providing the opportunity to use plug-ins and builders. It is definitely the most extensive option for web builders.

Cons

The learning curve is quite steep for using WP and is not for beginners. I always thought they are losing a huge market to Squarespace / wix for not providing a wysiyg out of the box

### "Build your website today!"

January 18, 2019

4.0

Wordpress has been great for me in so many ways. I use it along with google analytics to run our companys website.

Pros

Wordpress is one of the easiest tools out there to build websites of any size. You can choose and customize from a list of free or paid templates, depending on your style. The dashboard is easy to use and its simple to host your own site with their hosting tools. Some of the plug-ins are a little tricky, but they are constantly updating the software with the user in mind. I have operated personal sites, my wedding site, and my company's site with wordpress.

Cons

Some of the plug ins dont seem to work. A lot are user-created. However, you can always find another in its place :)
