### "Word Press the user friendly website tool"

February 12, 2021

5.0

Overall our experience has been great using word press it has been able to complete everything we need!

Pros

It was very easy to use, I was able to get all my website needs to be completed. I loved all the plugins to! Even beginners can use this to create a webstie

Cons

The more plugs in you use the slower your website runs, I know I'm not a developer so I can't code my way through things so I have to use this because it is easier to manage.

### "Building Websites with WordPress"

July 10, 2022

4.0

The experience has been good but could be better. In comparison to it's competitors, WordPress can do way better i suppose and can offer better design templates. Overall whatever features it currently offers is seemless to use and integrate.

Pros

WordPress is simple and not very complicated. It is gradually building features and creating experiences like drag and drop website building similar to it's competitors.

Cons

The software doesn't offer any variety of templates. I find the website building process little boring due to the limited creative template options. The add ons and integrations are less reliable and less adaptable.

### "Teachers can focus on the message, not how to use the software"

December 9, 2019

4.0

Wordpress has made it possible for my teachers to share the educational experiences of the children at our schools, with our families and with the greater community. Wordpress has made it easy to create beautiful blog posts, and for teachers to focus on the message and not on how to make the software work.

Pros

I like that Wordpress is easy to access, that the basic features are easy to use and to understand, and that Wordpress rarely "breaks" and is reliable. I also like that Wordpress is an established, recognized and trusted name.

Cons

I’ve used Wordpress for about 5 years, and in that time, the ability to change the position of photos in blog posts and to control the text flow around images has been difficult and there’s been little to no improvement in those features. Also, on the subject of images, I like that it’s possible to crop and resize images, but explaining this feature to my employees has been a struggle. Usually, I have to resize the images for my employees-because the Wordpress photo editing tools are not intuitive to the average user.

### "Forget all other CMS's Wordpress is what you should be using"

April 25, 2019

5.0

Wordpress is my goto CMS (Content Management System) I don't develop on any other platforms.

Pros

Open Sourced software, over 50k plugins available. Crazy amounts of free articles on How to do just about anything you need to in Wordpress. If something is too technical and above your skillset, there are an amazing amount of resources and web developers available and familiar with Wordpress to completely customize your website.

Cons

Really not much to dislike about WordPress. My only small complaint is that I'd like to see it easier to white-label WordPress websites and the wp-admin section without having to hack internal code or use 3rd party white-label solutions.

### "Great content management software for websites"

August 7, 2020

5.0

Excellent experience. I wouldn't use anything other platform for my websites.

Pros

I am a healthcare professional, not an IT professional. I was able to learn Wordpress well enough to use for most of business website needs. I needed to hire professionals for logo design and graphics, but most other website needs I was able to do on my own. Wordpress has many features. If you take the time to learn the basics, you can deploy a quality website yourself, that has nearly limitless growth potential via plugins and templates.

Cons

It takes time to learn such powerful and complex software -- but no programing. Anyone can do it if they take the time to learn.

### "The best Wysywig editor "

January 30, 2024

5.0

Since around 2016, it's been good. I don't like that it has been moved to jetpack recently.

Pros

Simplest and cost effective way for us to have and update our websites and blogs

Cons

Not very flexible. Websites look similar.

Reason for choosing WordPress

Because I saw other websites in my country being popular because of using very little data.

### "Good option for Web design"

December 16, 2018

4.0

I really like how simple this tool is but my experience has been bittersweet with it since sometimes when customers need something specific it is more complicated programs for wordpress, which codify a website from scratch and totally personalized.

Pros

WordPress is an excellent option for the creation of a web, I love the amount of developers that exist for this platform, and you see the amount of plugins that can be integrated into our website to achieve what we want, it is very likely that achieve without the need to encode absolutely nothing. I really like that it is simple and that afterwards, managing the website is very simple and basically anyone with certain knowledge of computer management can do it.

Cons

There are some things that I do not like, I am one of those who think that Wordpress is only useful if you still do not have a clear idea of what you want, since sometimes reaching a specific result is very difficult and it is much easier to do it. pure programming and the other feature is the prices and constant updates that sometimes cause compatibility problems.

### "Mastering Content Management"

December 4, 2019

5.0

Using Wordpress over many years has offered the opportunity to watch the software grow. The growth of Wordpress enables a logical growth of the capabilities of the sites created with it.

Pros

Wordpress is the most flexible and universally developed tool for creating websites. The array of plugins make the platform very extensible and the availability of themes and function-specific tools aid in the creation of major sites.

Cons

The new block method of editing feels less powerful than previous implementations. However the availability of plugins to modify the content editing experience make the issue irrelevant.

Reason for choosing WordPress

Better interface, higher reliability and better development path.

### "wordpress review"

August 25, 2018

4.0

it's been a great experience overall as building websites on wordpress not only reduced my work hours from building from scratch but also gave me similar feel and build if i had done it from scratch.

Pros

I enjoy the fact that WordPress requires little or no PHP/HTML knowledge to start usig it as opposed to Drupal that seems a bit too technical. The presence of a large community of wordpress users makes it an awesome app to use because there is an ever growing community to support you Countless number of plugins(free, freemium and premium) are available to help you make your job easier

Cons

Some modifications to a wordpress theme or template requires php/html knowledge making it complex for people with no such skill. Although there are numerous companies using worpdress for their websites, however financial institutions never build their website on wordpress because wordpress site security has always been a growing concern. Some wordpress plugins affect site efficiency in a bad way by either affecting its speed or script.

### "Indispensable, but not without its frustrating flaws"

December 15, 2017

5.0

Pros

WordPress is extensible, infinitely it seems, and that makes it powerful and appropriate for just about any solution you can think of, both business and personal There is plenty of free support from users and devs alike. With a little research, it's easy to get up and running in minutes on WordPress.com.

Cons

The differing levels of support and quality of plugins can be frustrating. Being able to install any plugin you want often, very often causes unforeseen conflicts and problems. The more popular WP becomes the more likely it's a target of hackers. Security can be an issue, and recovering from a hack requires security professionals.

### "Build websites the simple way"

July 3, 2018

4.0

I have built dozens of websites on WordPress and I am loving it! The flexibility, the features and the continuous enhancements. No reason not to love it!

Pros

WordPress is a popular CMS for building websites, one can build virtually any kinds of websites (and even wep apps) using WordPress plugins and themes. As it is an open source software, enhancements are added regularly. Did I mention it is completely free?

Cons

Just like any multi-purpose tools, WordPress is actually a bit difficult to be configured to any use other than blogs. If you need a website that can be used readily out-of-box, WordPress is not a good choice. The learning curve is steep but it is very rewarding!

### "WordPress for the win!"

January 27, 2020

5.0

My overall experience with WordPress is a great experience. I've learned a lot using it with my own website and am learning even more using it for my work website.

Pros

I personally love using WordPress and just recently my job has implemented using it for work. I have my own website as well with WordPress and it's honestly the easiest website builder I've used. I think it's a great site to start off with if wanted to build a professional website for your business

Cons

It could be a little more user friendly for people who aren't internet savvy like myself. I think there are complex parts about it, the more you pay to get a better website but that's worth it in my opinion.

Cons

### "Well Maintained CMS For Website"

February 18, 2021

Overall WordPress has some limitation but developers can customize their selves. By minimum use of plugins and maintaining system makes WordPress best CMS for websites.

Pros

WordPress is one of the best CMS system based on PHP language. Especially WordPress is used by Web, Blogs Developers. WordPress supports lots of useful plugins which makes WordPress much better than other systems. WordPress is also used to make e-commerce platform.

Cons

WordPress supports lots of free as well as paid plugins. It is very much easy for developers to develop systems without coding. For using lots of plugins there is always the risk of hacking the websites and also plugins make the system slow.

### "Accessible, lightweight, robust. "

March 10, 2020

5.0

WordPress allows us to spin up and maintain huge fleets of sites quickly and launch on time. Maintenance is a breeze and an issue of the past. There's no question \*why\* WordPress powers over 30% of the entire internet.

Pros

WordPress can cater to any use-case online. It's feature-rich and highly customisable. Out of the box, a WordPress site can be spun up, configured and ready to go without any need for plugins or 3rd party tools but where WordPress really shines is its scalability and expandability. The enormous repository of plugins and tools available for WordPress make any goal achievable quickly and easily.

Cons

WordPress is traditionally targeted at blogging sites. This doesn't restrict its overall functionality in any way however does mean there are some concepts that need to be redefined mentally which can trip up some users.

### "It is a good alternative to create and manage all types of web content."

July 29, 2018

5.0

Wordpress is continually updating and introducing improvements to its platform. I use it because in addition to all the advantages mentioned above, it allows me to work with other users in the development of the website.

Pros

Wordpress allows users to create, maintain and manage websites in a really easy and simple way. Its interface is very friendly, so understanding and mastering its tools is a matter of hours. In addition, it offers many design alternatives and styles that give a very professional look to the website. Another of its most attractive features are the plug-ins that allow any type of functionality to be added to the website. In general, this software works properly and has very good features.

Cons

The free version that exists for the creation of content is very limited, the tools and functionalities it offers are very basic.

### "Get your business online"

February 18, 2020

5.0

When I took management of the Keswick Park Hotel back in 2016, the owner was paying over the odds for a "professional" website to be hosted and maintained. The website was clunky, outdated and not user friendly. I immediately built a Wordpress based website, and the difference was phenomenal. Clean website templates which are easy on the eye and just as easy to edit and maintain. Definitely helped increase sales and drive interest to our hotel, bar and restaurant. We have WordPress installed with our host, 1&1.

Pros

WordPress has a very clean non-cluttered interface, and building up a website is very simple, with very little prior knowledge required. Once the website is built, it is very easy to add new posts or pages, or edit existing posts and pages. I have used wordpress for many years myself, and have shown others how to use it in my own business with no issues.

Cons

It is very difficult to criticise the WordPress software as it fits all of our personal needs and budget. However a wider range of free templates and add-ons would be nice, but understandably this is how they make their money.

### "Custom websites with a few clicks"

April 3, 2019

5.0

It has made the landing pages creation easier. From time to time it requires involvement of real programmers to get a new custom component or integrate something else in the code but after that is done, the visual editor will be your best friend.

Pros

I like how intuitive it is. The visual editor is so well done that not using it is a crime. The company started using Wordpress as a temporal solution for a specific purpose but it worked so well that it became the standard. I loved that it was really easy to train newcomers into how to create landing pages here. It's as easy as teaching somebody how to make a presentation in a office software. There's also an option to create custom types in case you need something more specific in a form for example but basically it works fine for all the basic funtions you would need on a website. Now, if you need serious integration with something more complex like tracking for analysis or more dynamic like handling inventory and feeding prices from somewhere else (if you are not starting from scratch) then you will need to first investigate how complex is the integration and find the right people to do it. Real coding will be needed, but once it's done, the visual editor will be really useful for non-programmers.

Cons

Some people is used to have multiple tabs open (like 1 tab to edit a page, 1 tab to edit a the form, and so on). But in my case I've seen errors happen because people can mistakenly edit in a tab thinking that it is another tab. I think the session should restrict that, allowing easier navigation but in a single tab (other backoffice software does that and it's really effective to prevent human errors, specially in beginners).

### "Very flexible"

December 7, 2019

4.0

The platform is great for various types of websites. I have created a real estate website and a HOA site with private log in all without spending extra dollars.

Pros

WordPress is a wonderful tool to create a website. For a non-coder, you can download plugins and expand the capability of the platform to add feature and design elements to your site. Most of these plugins are free and some are free with a premium version with additional features.

Cons

The basic WP themes are kind of boring and "out of the box" you are not going to be able to design a WOW website. So you will need to download plugins. But be careful because too many plugins can slow your site down.

### "WordPress - website platform for every need"

September 25, 2018

5.0

Favorable! I've used it for years, and have created many sites for friends and customers on Wordpress. I guess you could say I highly recommend it.

Pros

I've used WordPress for almost 9 years. It was easy to set up and navigate. And it's easy to use. I've trained many people to use it, without any trouble. There are tens of thousands of plugins you can use to improve the functionality and abilities of your Wordpress website, and most of them are free.

Cons

Wordpress isn't without its glitches, especially when new updates are available. But, for the most part they're not terrible. Usually the biggest problem is incompatibility with themes and plugins, not Wordpress itself.
