### "Excellent software for web development"

December 27, 2019

5.0

With plugins and extensions, and even page edit if you have the skills, it is possible to do magic with a CMS for end user. Ideal for web developers and freelancers who have to give easy administration tools for their customers

Pros

The ease and speed to develop rapidly a website using easy to install themes that make even the design look beautiful

Cons

Page reloading to update changes and css cannot be modified so easily when you are editing a page. You have to move to another place to add custom CSS.

### "WordPress Is THEE Solution for Websites"

May 22, 2020

5.0

My overall experience has been fantastic! I feel empowered to bring my own vision of what I feel my platform should look like and how it should function into the online world. I love that I now have a platform to make my voice heard without having to spend hundreds or thousands on web developers.

Pros

The diversity of themes, plugins and support that is available both for free and commercial makes this one of the most versatile platforms for hosting your blog or website.

Cons

At time it can feel overwhelming for those that are beginners or even early intermediates. Sometimes there seems to be so many moving parts with the different plugins required to accomplish your vision that it can feel overwhelming at times. I say stick with it though. It's worth it!

### "flexible and powerful website framework"

August 8, 2018

4.0

Wordpress has always been a great solution for blogs or story type websites. With addition of Woocommerce, it can also handle a small to medium size shopping cart as well, all with little or no code changes.

Pros

The opensource nature of this software allows me to modify whatever I need to to make it fit for my business. The community that has developed around wordpress is very strong, and I can find themes and plugins that help me add functionality without reinventing the wheel.

Cons

Learning the framework and the do's and don'ts of what coding changes are appropriate can be somewhat daunting. For anyone without a technical background, I would recommend working with a professional.

### "My Fiirst BlogSite"

December 7, 2018

4.0

I love the product - it does all l want it to do. Customer support could use a little help.

Pros

I was very impressed with how easy it was to set up my WordPress site. As I became more comfortable with the software, I was able to tweak my sites, ad special features and personalize it. I was also impressed witrh how well Googlwe Ads worked wioth lmy site, driving up hits.

Cons

Some instructions were somewhat confusing and when I contacted Customer Support, I felt they were kind of short with me because I was "supposed to know" how to do certain things. I am an excellent end-user and can follow instructions rather well - their support lteam talks down to you.

### "Wordpress helped me to create my first website."

June 21, 2020

5.0

I have started using WordPress since last year and I have created my website using Wordpress, it is best for portfolio based websites and business websites which requires information exchange. it is good as a beginner but really impressive. it is very easy to use that's why I am still using Wordpress.

Pros

With help of Wordpress, we can create website even if we don't have knowledge about programming. Wordpress helped me to create my first website, it is super easy to customize your web page, we can add different plugins and it provides us features to update our plugins from time to time which is really good. we can select various themes and customize our website, we can add pages and create posts for our website, which is really amazing features of Wordpress.

Cons

there is not a big issue while using Wordpress for websites but for SEO purposes it requires some additional plugins to do and also if you are looking for security purposes then you need to customize some code. But the rest is good with WordPress.

### "The best backend platform!"

June 28, 2019

5.0

Overall very good! Easy to learn how to use if you've never used it.

Pros

You don't need to be a professional coder in order to use WordPress! I've used WordPress for several different companies, and the few that used other website builders were not nearly as good as WordPress. There are so many great plugins and customization tools that you can use. Not to mention the SEO tools are great for making sure your webpage is doing well!

Cons

The customer service is nonexistent really. There's no number or team you can speak with directly. You only really have the forums online that you have to search through and hope someone around the globe can help you.

### "Wordpress user Thoughts"

March 18, 2019

4.0

In the long run, I can say that I have learned a lot about digital marketing, Entrepreneurship and the online world just by using Wordpress. It has all the features and ton of possibilities to create a good website. If the user interface was more friendly, it would be a winning product. Instead I would say that it's a good product but not great for someone who is just starting out.

Pros

The endless possibilities of plugins, really make the experience of building a Wordpress website to so much fun. For me as an Entrepreneur, Wordpress allows me to build my E-commerce store (Woocomerce), Build a gallery, write posts, basically anything that a website needs.

Cons

Complicated to use. Although the interface of Wordpress is attractive and impressive, it is definitely not an easy one to use. It takes time for the average person or even someone who is more tech savvy to learn how to implement and build the website exactly to their liking. Most of the free themes that a person can choose from are only a demo version and in order to get the benefits from a more functional site, they need to do one of two things: 1. Purchase the pro version. 2. Learn HTML, CSS and coding. This is for sure a big down side for this product.

### "LOVE this platform."

May 2, 2019

5.0

Overall, I love WordPress. Get set up, read/watch some tutorials, learn all the standard plugins, and you'll be in a position to create some spectacular (and well-functioning) websites!

Pros

Oh man - where do I start. WordPress has become so ubiquitous on the web, as a web and graphic designer I make a good portion of my living on the WordPress platform. Any time I want to offer a new website tool or a client asks for a new specific feature, I can basically tell myself, "there's a plugin for that". Interactive maps, credit card acceptance, currency converters... There's always an inexpensive way to implement it immediately without a lot of coding/customization.

Cons

The one downside is that there's a bit of a learning curve. WordPress is a lot easier than coding a site from scratch... but still requires more web development know-how than services like Squarespace and Weebly. Which isn't a bad thing - anything of quality should require some time and effort to learn - but it's important to know that you won't be an expert on day one of the software.

### "I built several businesses using the WordPress ecosystem"

February 12, 2021

5.0

WordPress is the best of the best and I use it every day (I've built 100s of sites on it).

Pros

It's open-source software that is very flexible - referring to the product from WordPress.org. Combine it with a great theme and quality plugins, and you can build just about any website!

Cons

If you're looking at WordPress.com hosting, look elsewhere for a self-hosted solution. WordPress.com is far too restrictive with its hosting.

### "The standard in web design platforms"

February 5, 2019

5.0

WordPress is the standard in the industry so my level of confidence is quite high. Even as a non technical person I'm able to use the platform with reasonable ease. All in all I wouldn't hesitate recommending WordPress as long as the user is willing to get their hands a little dirty with training docs.

Pros

\- The amount of plugins available to add functionality to your sites. - Similar to Apple's ecosystem... there's an app for that. For all your website management needs - The ability to to share full or part access of your site to collaborators - The fact that WordPress is so widely used there are tons of support sources for beginners to experts alike

Cons

\- The user interface can take a while to get used to. - Not all functionality is easily apparent and at times you have to look at help resources to get unstuck - Relying on plugins and themes can cause issues at times because they have to be frequently updated or they may become paid plugins without much notice. If the plugin is an important integration of your site this can cause issues.

### "CMS Made for the Masses"

December 18, 2018

5.0

Overall, I love to use Wordpress for building sites. It requires little to no coding experience and there are more choices than another other platform for design aesthetics.

Pros

Wordpress is by far the easiest CMS platform to use when making a content-rich website. Given that it's the most widely used website building platform, the support and development of plugins is second-to-none. When I need to make a well-rounded website quickly, I always go to Wordpress.

Cons

Given that Wordpress is the mostly widely-known CMS platform for websites, it also the most popular to target by hackers. It takes a keen eye to prevent unauthorized access to the site and/or its database.

### "Simple and Intuitive tool for online presence"

August 21, 2018

3.0

So far so good.

Pros

The way its organized makes it so easier to manage any online content or website or blog or help guide. If you are techie it hardly requires anyone to give ypu a walk through of the management system. Simply pulla theme and customize to mske your content more appealing tp your audience. The ability to integrate third party tools using plugins is a plus I must sa

Cons

It lacks flexibility somewhere and though its responsive it becomes tricky to cater desktop ipad and mobile viewers. Though one can custom code it and ensures responsiveness upto 90% At times one really needs to go above and beyond to achieve precision

### "Wordpress"

November 19, 2020

2.0

Wordpress and Bluehost and they do go hand-in-hand are terrible. Misrepresent fees misrepresent the ease-of-use. I also look for a way to put a review on WordPress itself and what do you know I cannot find one at all. I not only would not recommend them I would strongly not recommend them.

Pros

Let me start by saying that I like ALOT of others had very high expectations when it came to using bluehost and wordpress and all the tons of plugins offered for free with these "solutions". I like nothing about wordpress. Not one thing. No matter how many tutorials i followed and no matter how many times i started over, going so far as to buy another domain name hoping that would help. It didnt. Wordpress is not easy. Its very hard. After 6 days of straight obsessing over this I give up today. Im out alot of money because every time you click on something they say you need you better be ready to pay for it because you wont move until you do. Then by the time you realize how much money your out you hope just one more time. But that. Never comes.

Cons

I think Wordpress and Bluehost are absolutely awful. They promote this $2.99 hosting and all this and what they fail to add is thats charged annually. That also does not include all the next things cost and the next and your not moving further with any setup period until you pay each and everyone. I think by the time most realize they are in over their heads they are out so much money they opt to pay the huge expense of having their experts take over.

### "The Most Complete and Customizable Website Platform!"

August 26, 2022

5.0

Overall I have nothing but good things to say about WordPress. Our main site was designed with Elementor and made in WordPress and it continues to be one of the best investments we've ever made. The fees are low and the possibilities are limitless. 10/10 recommend it for anyone building a website, regardless of if you're an expert of a beginner. There's something for everyone with WordPress!

Pros

There's so much to love about WordPress! You can do everything from make a very simple website from a built in template, to make a fully in depth and professional website from scratch. The possibilities are endless, which is the main draw for WordPress compared to competitors like Wix & Squarespace. Beyond this, the price is so cheap and reasonable. I also love that it's a great communities of builders who are willing to help.

Cons

I'm having a tough time thinking of anything I don't like! There are so many different ways you can use WordPress that you can find a workaround for just about anything. If I had to choose something it would be the learning curve it can sometimes take to get used to the infrastructure and different plug-ins.

### "Platform itself is great, but ease of use depends on your UI kit and plug ins"

April 22, 2018

5.0

Pros

You can essentially create any type of website on Wordpress. The platform itself is very easy to use and pretty intuitive. It's easy to connect to Google Analytics and it automatically tells you your readability and SEO numbers. There are enough plugins and themes/builders you can add to help you create a site that really fits your vision.

Cons

Plugins can sometimes crash the site if they aren't compatible with another element you're using, so it's always best to work in a sandbox environment before making any site live. Generally, any cons are associated with UI kits and how those were built, which is no fault of Wordpress.

### "Best available CMS in market for a newbie to moderate tech people"

November 17, 2020

4.0

Good for sure. Even though it has some limitations, It is one of the best available in the market.

Pros

The easiness of deployment. The easiness of understanding the architecture and functionalities is comparatively easy for a moderate tech person. A complete website can be hosted without any technical know-how on the things.

Cons

Complexity in reengineering some features to understand where the changes are to be done for altering some pages on a pre hosted website. For a website hosted by me, it is easy. But not for a website that is hosted by someone else.

### "WordPress is the easiest when time is of the essence"

February 16, 2021

We like it, we feel it is easy to use, and we are pleased with the results.

Pros

Easy to use, easy to implement, easy to add plugins for what else you may need. There's nothing I have found that WP can't do.

Cons

If something has been built with something other than WP, sometimes it is hard to convert, but that's the fault of whomever built it in something other than WP!

Reason for choosing WordPress

There is nothing else as user friendly as WP.

### "Easiest yet most appealing CMS to use for one's website/blog/online store"

June 14, 2018

4.0

Pros

Wordpress that was started as a blog application has today transformed into something using which one can design customized websites/blogs/online stores. It has the most appealing library of free templates compared to Joomla and Drupal where it is nightmare to find good free templates.

Cons

Its admin dashboard lacks sophistication. Joomla appears far more matured. Although it is cited that Wordpress is vulnerable to hacks and lacks security guard, for single user, this should not be a deterrent if they learn to keep backup. There are good free Wordpress backup plugins and even many hosts provide this facility free of cost.

Pros

Software is easy to use and there are a thousand of add ons that you can load into a wordpress site. Our currently website is built on wordpress and we couldn't be happier with it. The updates continue even if a free case.

Cons

Tech support leaves a lot to be desired. There doesn't seem to be a way to get real support without hiring a full time web developer who knows it well.

### "Great platform to create something beautiful"

April 26, 2019

4.0

I would highly recommend this to someone with minimal website/blog experience. It did not take me too long to learn it a stage where I could further sell my services.

Pros

I have used Wordpress to create several websites for myself and clients from around the world. When I started, I had almost no experience in website and blog creation. The beauty of WP is the number of free training videos across the internet and forums that help support your learning and also improve your existing skills. Besides this, they have a ton of WP Plugins for almost anything you can think of!

Cons

It is commonly known that WP does not exactly have the best Customer Support. However, with the plethora of information on the internet, you are more likely to not ever contact them! In addition, some of the plugins provided are really antique.

### "All around essential tool for any size and type of businesses"

July 22, 2019

5.0

Awesome!

Pros

Wordpress has been in the space for quite a long time, I especially love its vast features serving the small, medium to big size businesses. Wordpress is always improving, updating and innovating its features. It’s a great platform to blog, sell or inform your target customers. Several of its plug-ins are great and useful for what kind of website you want.

Cons

As much as there are so many Pros of Wordpress, there’s also a lot of cons especially in the quality of plug-ins. Well, Wordpress is an open-source platform, it’s expected that some plug-ins aren’t that great for your Website, but overall, Wordpress is great.

### "We currently run one of our websites via WordPress."

April 24, 2018

5.0

We received the benefit of providing our community with robust information and education website that is dynamic and easy to use. From an admin perspective, most functions are intuitive. Overall, we've been very pleased with it.

Pros

We've had great uptime as long as you keep up with updates and use WP themes available. The look and ease of use to make edits is great. The look and feel of the themes is nice and can fit most businesses or industries.

Cons

Too much customization can break links with new WP updates. It's recommended to utilize functions that already exist in WP vs. doing too much customization. Especially for smaller organizations where coding resources are limited.
