### "Great choice for bloggers and small businesses "

December 17, 2018

5.0

WordPress allows just about anyone to create a beautiful, professional websites in little time, with no coding skills needed. It's a great option for non-programmers and more robust than a tool like Wix or Weebly.

Pros

I use WordPress to run all my sites and my clients' sites. I build websites using WordPress for small businesses, and consider it the best option available. It's simple to use and there are some great themes and builders, as well as loads of documentation available.

Cons

There's a lot of junk plugins and themes in the WordPress ecosystem. Since it's open source, hacks are common and security can be an issue if you don't take appropriate measures.

### "Launch Your Website Easily with Wordpress"

May 27, 2020

5.0

I have been able to create several websites with the simple to use Wordpress. It makes website management easy for me as well. It is easy to add and delete pages and create funnels

Pros

Wordpress makes it possible to create websites and edit pages easily. We are able to take advantage of its easy to use interface and its simplicity-first dashboard to create pages and publish within mintues. Although, the quality of support is short of exceptional, and the user community is massive

Cons

The quality of support can be greatly improved. They still have a lot of work to do in that regard. Sometimes, they fail to respond to emails in months. That is really poor

### "It is a very useful tool to create and manage all types of web projects"

July 26, 2018

It is flexible, easy to use and has many features and tools.

Pros

It is a free platform that offers many tools and functionalities for web design. It has a friendly and easy to use interface, once installed it is very easy to update the content, create new pages and upload documents. It also offers an attractive system of optimizable templates that give a very professional and aesthetic aspect to the final result.

Cons

The platform is constantly being updated and this can become a real problem. In addition, customer support is deficient, there are many difficulties to solve the operational problems that the software may present.

### "Great Customizable CMS"

March 18, 2021

5.0

Overall, WordPress has been an excellent choice for our business. We have a lot of flexibility to build templated pages for our service offerings so there's a consistent feel to the site but we also can create completely one-off concepts at the drop of a hat without an issue. The platform and various plug-ins and integrations allow us to have a fast, optimized site that helps our business grow.

Pros

For those that want to have a lot of control of their website without having to build a custom site, WordPress is great. It provides a very flexible environment to create customized sites and pages without having to custom code everything. There is also a huge user base so when you have a question or issue come up, there is no shortage of places to find the answer.

Cons

One drawback is that users new to web dev or users that are coming from other platforms may have to spend a lot of time getting to know the system. There can be a steep learning curve. However, if you have a curious mind and are dedicated, that learning can accelerate very quickly and the platform becomes very intuitive.

### "For bloggers"

September 17, 2018

3.0

Pros

\- If the requirement or need is to make a blog, do not look for another content manager, since wordpresss facilitates our life. - It has a variety of templates and pluggins to make any web page attractive. - Wordpress facilitates accommodation for those who do not know about hosting. - Wordpress is constantly updated, so you have to stay tuned to any Novelty or patch they have taken to solve a problem. - For non-programmers, Wordpress is a solution, since it is more intuitive than those of its competition and if you do not require a custom page, there is no need to review source code. - Not to be less important, but Wordpress is open source, which allows you to review your source, for those who like to pry. - Wordpress facilitates the positioning with the robots of Google for the legible and structured that is Your code. - The Wordpress community is very broad and continues to grow, there are a variety of forums in the which support at the time of some inconvenience.

Cons

\- You have to be careful when updating the platform or a plugins, and always have a backup before doing so, since in an update some functionality may be lost and it is necessary return to the previous version. - There are two versions of wordpress and generate confusion: .org which is paid and the .com that is free, each one has its characteristics that as required is good to know. - The .com version forces you to have a Wordpress own subdomain, besides it does not allow the monetization and end up owning the content; Is it really free?. - The .org version has the largest variety of templates and plugins.

### "Great platform to develop your brand or share ideas"

March 22, 2018

5.0

Pros

The software has a huge ecosystem of components that can be put into use and configured in almost no time. If you can even think of a functionality that you need, it probably already exists. Modify existing pages can be done by novices. Experts can customize it to no end. We use it for our company website.

Cons

The positive of being infinity customizable can also be its weakness. The complexity that one can create can quickly become untenable. Some of the components of the ecosystem will introduce breaking changes and so testing of component upgrades or outright functionality replacement is often required.

### "review of wordpress"

November 27, 2020

4.0

WordPress has been a great place to start within content management systems and also great to spring off into Drupal, magento and other CMS systems. I have frequently used WordPress as a base for templates and web development. I have seen WordPress grow from various versions and seen many new features being added in.

Pros

WordPress created the industry standard of content management systems and website templates. WordPress is usually the very first stop when one looks to build a website. WordPress has many great templates both for free and of charge, it also has many features and plugins to incorporate. Plus there are many freelance experts who are knowledgeable in WordPress to help out.

Cons

While WordPress has become of the most widely used software, it can be complex to start with. WordPress doesn't really have a centralized ordering system to their templates. Also WordPress works in a freemium model in which the free things are not very useful. Also many sites and templates require plugins which are also not complementary. Editing or customizing templates or sites also becomes a challenge when going through their myriad of options.

### "By Far The Best CMS On The Market"

June 30, 2018

5.0

We incorporate WordPress with all new client sites and are able to build out custom themes in a very reasonable amount of time.

Pros

Pros: WordPress has come so far in the past couple of years that even the most novice of users can learn to use it. Plenty of free themes, plenty of free plugins to expand your site, some community support.

Cons

Cons: Dedicated WordPress hosting can be expensive, support is mostly community driven and theme/plug-in developers can be slow to respond. Companies can be reluctant to adopt due to perceived security issues. The popularity of WordPress has unfortunately driven the cost of themes up over recent years.

### "Wordpress has always been a bail-out for me for web design and CMS development"

July 27, 2018

5.0

It saves me the stress of haven to write a whole bunch of codes to set up a CMS.

Pros

WordPress is a Big name in CMS development and design. This Content management system is very easy to use even if you are a starter because of its blogging origin. Almost everyone can setup a wordpress work environment to start a business website or a blogging website. One of the most interesting features is the ability to easily install ecommerce plugins like woocommerce, opencart, magento etc. With little knwoledge of wordpress, you can successfully install plugins, install website templates and also edit few of them because it is user friendly. Lastly, it is super SEO friendly and all its web templates are mobile responsive. Great Opensource CMS.

Cons

It is vulnerable. Being an open-source platform, WordPress is obviously prone to potential hackers who build plugins to hack you website. but to avoid this, the user have to be very knowledgeable about which plugins to install

### "Fulfills our business website needs."

September 12, 2018

4.0

We have used Wordpress for years and likely will for much longer. It’s great for assigning other users admin rights, as well.

Pros

Wordpress has a lot going on behind the scenes. It’s definitely not for beginners to web design - but if you have a little experience or learn quickly, you’ll be able to set up a very professional website that has many clean and streamlined aspects to it.

Cons

Wordpress itself has the potential to be extremely powerful, but many of the things that can be done require a plug-in — the best of which require an annual subscription or a one time purchase. These can really add up if you require them for your website.

### "More than a Blog: Incredibly Easy & Customizable Freemium Software"

August 16, 2018

5.0

I've used WordPress for personal, academic, and business blogs and websites. The platform enabled me to learn basic web development and programming skills, as well as provided transferable skills (this was my starting point to using other relevant software).

Pros

Having experience with both WordPress.org (hosted via WP) and WordPress.com (self hosted), I believe the pros are numerous. Ability to choose from a wide selection of templates designed for a wide variety of purposes. Countless options for customizations, plugins, and widgets. Significant array of free items, free with paid upgrades, and low-cost options. No need to be a programmer! If you can piece together a PowerPoint presentation and follow directions, then you can make a website using WordPress! Suitable for personal and professional blogs, websites, and e-commerce.

Cons

Some of the plugins aren't compatible with every template. Some plugins are outdated, not maintained by developer. Majority of plugins are created by third party developers and reviewed by the WordPress community.

### "The best software to create and optimize a website forever "

November 4, 2020

5.0

It's handy software for creating any website and ranking it very quickly. WordPress is a robust content management system. It has many plugins, and it's very responsive to all devices.

Pros

This software is beneficial for those people who wanna create a website. It's easy to control and use. This software has many tools, and all the tools were worked properly.

Cons

If this site's security could be made more secure, then the users' data would be more secure. Moreover, it confuses users for using frequent updates. If these problems are solved, then this is definitely a good soft.

### "Universal yet particular"

October 7, 2021

4.0

Pros

Wordpress is widely adopted. It's so common that usually you can install it with just one click using your hosting provider features. You can find a plethora of themes, plugin and add-on for virtually anything. The very basic entrance cost is low and it's very user friendly. I think there are very few cases in which you should consider another web CMS.

Cons

As soon as your requirements get more complex you may experience a sort of panic. You'll find out that solutions exist but usually are more complex than expected considering how easy starting with WP have been. In addition the same result can be achieved in several different ways so confusion can arise. Lastly, WP is around since a long time so you'll find a lot of outdated documentation, blog post and articles.

### "Flexible CMS for any task - All in one solution"

October 1, 2018

5.0

I have been working with WordPress for several years and I hope that this CMS will pay more attention to the requests of developers and professional users. WordPress is the best CMS on the market, but it needs to start changing more actively. I look forward to Gutenberg editor in the core WordPress core, and I really want this to be the beginning of a big change in the interface.

Pros

This CMS is a rare combination of functionality and flexibility. WordPress offers a large set of features and capabilities, a flexible system of plug-ins, thanks to which you can build almost any site relatively easily. Also one of the main advantages of WordPress is that WordPress has become a huge industry that allows you to choose among an incredible array of templates and extensions.

Cons

Cons WordPress is a fairly conservative administrative panel interface. I would like to see a more modern editor for working with content. Also lacks a flexible system of working with users. Yes, you can fix these disadvantages by installing plug-ins, but this is not always convenient and not very correct.

Have loved it - still do - but less so.

Pros

I have been able to build some absolutely beautiful websites with no understanding of website coding in my time thanks to Wordpress. It's functionality is far beyond Wix or Squarespace.

Cons

It gets more complicated every day. Every template is set up differently so you have to look in totally different places for the same thing. Now with Elementor and WPBakery, it feels like it's getting harder and not easier.

### "Great for building and managing almost any website"

October 31, 2018

5.0

WordPress, overall, is fantastic for creating complex websites, with a lot of functionality already pre-built through an extensive directory of plugins and themes. In my experience, it makes it simple for clients to get to grips with, reducing the amount of support an agency would need to offer, and streamlines the overall experience of managing the website.

Pros

WordPress is great for having a website that can easily be extended. Through its fairly easy-to-use developer documentation, it is simple for new features and adjustments to be added or made. This can allow what would be a complex website to be built more quickly. As an extra bonus, the content management system in the backend makes it very simple to manage the website, which reduces the support needed in an agency-client relationship.

Cons

When using pre-built plugins or themes to build a business WordPress website, the backend can become bloated with messages, advertisements etc, that can bog down the backend, make it look more unprofessional, and become intrusive and distracting when managing the website.

### "Excellent tool to program PHP"

December 12, 2018

5.0

Pros

This software is a very important tool for the creation of WEB pages through PHP, its open source contributes to any user can contribute to the development of the website, has a variety of designs available, on a personal level, I always like to work From the beginning. From a small site to adapt to the needs that arise at this moment, that is why it is one of the best tools because it helps to scale what we are looking for to show it from a small organization like the one I work, also up to a really big organization with several branches over distances. At the level of user and administrator, I can trust that it is a tool that can generate positive attitudes when preparing a WEB page.

Cons

Its main disadvantage is the level of complexity that must be used to use it, that's why, at first, it can be a bit tedious or annoying to use it, avoiding the non-development with the tool and the last one is that it can not have its own web domain , everything must be based on the subdomains provided by this tool, which generates a limitation when you leave all your information in the hands of others

### "Simple, efficient and free, of the best there is in the market."

November 14, 2017

4.0

Pros

Wordpress was my first approach to web design and I highlighted several points: 1. Easy to use and intuitive interface 2. Free templates to install with a click that do all the work 3. Plugins exist everywhere and are indispensable for those who do not know about programming 4. Loading images and videos very simple 5. Very easy to install in a hosting

Cons

It is a bit heavy if you overload plugins 2. Sometimes it is difficult to find files to modify like css for example and it is necessary to resort to some FTP manager 3. Many free themes offer little chance of change, both in design and functionality

### "Everything is so far buried - why can't it be simple? "

February 12, 2019

3.0

It has been good and bad. Good in that it's the same platform for almost all my clients, bad in that each site has been written differently and zero consistency leaves me searching for how to make simples fixes.

Pros

I like that there are now more and more widgets we can add to personalize functions. I also like that I can do a live preview while editing and it is a robust platform.

Cons

Where to start? First, I immensely dislike that so much of the code is hidden pages, within pages, within pages. It is like it's designed so that only your original website developer can understand what they did. I am now editing two websites for companies that no longer want to use their developers, and figuring out where all the code has been written has been a bear. Also. sometimes, when I try to add custom CSS, the template completely ignores it and I end up using <span styles> etc. I think the interface could also be cleaner. There are too many places to make changes and too many errors that can result.
