### "I make my living via WordPress"

October 19, 2021

5.0

Overall I'm incredibly happy with WP. My web deign and development business is almost entirely focused on building custom WordPress and WooCommerce solutions for small and medium sized businesses.

Pros

I love that WordPress is open source and configurable. I can meet almost any online business need with WordPress as the core piece.

Cons

Every once is a while there is a major rethink of a core component which leads for me to retrain dozens of clients or use a plugin to revert back to the previous implementation

### "WordPress and Encouraging Words"

November 13, 2020

5.0

I was using an old website and switched over to WordPress. Overall, the customer service experience was ideal. They treated me with respect and did not awkwardly tell me that any question I may have asked was stupid. They emailed multiple times quite efficiently and helped me along the way. It has allowed for my blog to become decently popular and people seem to enjoy what I tend to ramble about. The different templates have worked out well dependent on what topic I am working through.

Pros

The thing I liked the most about WordPress is that it is easy to use when beginning your own blog. Many, don't believe that their blogs will become popular. It can be a place where you rant and maybe one or two people will stumble across your words on the online page, and maybe or maybe not be encouraged. One of the biggest things that is liked the most is that it is workable for both beginners and professional writers. It also comes at a reasonable cost. The templates and features are definitely a step in the write direction for having and obtaining a successful blog. There are multiple features and templates which guide you in the right direction for whatever topic you may be rambling about. It allows for a free option, which many websites do not offer "good" free options. However, if you are looking for a more progressive way to write and capture attentions, the advanced options come at a reasonable price.

Cons

There are very few cons when it comes to WordPress. The only negative for other business owners would be that it does not allow for many other builds. This seems to be directly targeted for writing and creating blogs. It also took a few minutes for me to become accustomed to it when switching from another product. It is crucial that you know some coding in order to be able to use the application properly. The negative to this is that if you do not know much about coding, it will take a while to navigate through most of the application.

Squarespace was not allowing me to have quite the successful blog. I spent a lot of time searching and researching before switching over. Squarespace is not bad all around, but wordpress seemed to be easier in regards to leading me towards success.

### "Wordpress, diseño web amigable y efectivo"

October 18, 2022

5.0

### "WordPress plugins saves the game"

September 27, 2021

5.0

My main reason for switching from Blogger to WordPress was to create a high and successful business online, without having difficulties in reaching it's target audience. Thanks to Automattic for inventing WordPress. So, switching to WordPress was the perfect choice that I made, and although I got to endure the cons of using WordPress which I talked about earlier.

Pros

To be honest, without WordPress plugins, many would leave WordPress and acquire other blog and website builders that exist. WordPress made it easy for bloggers and web owners to utilize both free and paid plugins on their sites, without having to add HTML codes manually or pay someone online to acquire a service. My blog became very popular today by the help of WordPress plugins.

Cons

WordPress is too complex for newbie bloggers and web owners, and for one to use WordPress, he or she must at least possess some technical skills, in order to know the rise and downfall of his or her domain. In addition, for one to achieve his or her website needs and dreams, he or she must use WordPress plugins, which some are quite expensive to use.

### "WordPress Evolves, Adapts and is Lovingly Wrapped"

December 13, 2019

5.0

Initially I was searching for a way to create and save tech-related notes, then link to relevant others, and search the entire pile. That was years ago (and I found some other software more suitable to that task). WordPress creators listen to the community that develops with it and the end users. So it has continued to evolve and adapt to the way the community uses and wants to use it. Over the years WordPress has served my needs as a blog, front page for a static website, content management system and ecommerce platform.

Pros

WordPress evolves, adapts and is lovingly wrapped around by a caring community of coders, developers, techies, and users alike. I began using WordPress before it was worthy of a full integer (it was like version 0.4!). I was impressed with it then even though I used it as a storage place for tech-related notes. I watched it evolve from a mostly blog engine to an enviable content management system. And adapt from being primarily in the purview of hobbyists to become a serious tool in the business realm. I remain impressed by (and grateful to) the community that creates for it, tweaks and supports it, and teaches others how to achieve the results they're seeking.

Cons

Oh the woes associated with upgrading! I've had a few because while the software will always warn you to backup and backup and know what you're doing, it can't foresee every possible thing that can go wrong. So it will sometimes break things. Or some ill-coded plugins will bork your site when you upgrade WordPress. My other least favorite thing about WordPress is the WordPress Plugin Repository. I don't think it is designed well enough to rule out bad actors (who create crappy pieces of software that causes problems for your WordPress site). Finally, although I applaud WordPress for finally figuring out a way to "edit in place," I don't think Gutenberg is the answer.

Alternatives considered

[Concrete CMS](https://www.capterra.com/p/161651/concrete5/)

Reason for choosing WordPress

I've continued to try out other softwares to see if they are better suited for a particular project. Sometimes there are alternatives that work well. More often than not WordPress, with its ecosystem of plugins, gets the job done.

### "Easy To Make The website And It Has A Lot Of Great Features"

January 30, 2022

5.0

I am a WordPress user and I love it. It is so easy to use, which is why I use it for my blog! It's very customizable as well. You can do almost anything with WordPress and the way you're able to edit your site is amazing! The amount of freedom you have with this platform is incredible. You can easily make an awesome website that will be perfect for your business or blog in no time at all. All the themes on their page are fantastic too- they look great and work perfectly on any screen size. They have some really nice resources like tutorials, videos, etc that help you learn how to customize your theme further if needed too- which makes using WordPress even more fun!

Pros

I am very happy with WordPress. It's easy to make my website. I can also use the WordPress editor, which is nice because it gives me a lot of flexibility in designing my website and making it look exactly how I want it to look. They are always quick at fixing any problems that may arise from time to time as well so there aren't many complaints about their service or products other than maybe their customer support not being the best but for everything else they do, WordPress does an excellent job!

Cons

I love WordPress. It's easy to make my website, and it is very user-friendly. I've been using WordPress for a long time now and I have always been happy with their service

### "Wordpress, the base of all entrepreneurship on the internet."

December 13, 2020

5.0

Since I started using wordpress I have become a fanatic. It has allowed me to create countless web projects, of the highest quality, thus being able to compete with companies from all over the world, and at a professional level. Wordpress has really accompanied me in the growth of my company for years. I would not change it for anything.

Pros

1- Easy to implement. Anyone in just minutes can have a basic and scalable website online, without having to know programming or web design. 2- Short learning curve. In a short time, anyone can become a professional using wordpress. 3- Flexibility. Wordpress allows you to create very powerful sites, and have control of the design, creating custom sites. 4- A very active community of help and creation of resources. You can always find documents, plugins, themes and more ... 5- Scalable. Wordpress allows you to always start and keep your projects updated, but above all it allows you to scale them, turning a site that was once very basic into a true professional project. 6- Infinity of free and paid resources. 7- 100% compatibility. Today wordpress has such a large community of users and developers, that it is almost impossible that there are not companies that do not develop plugins for what one imagines. 8- Competitiveness. Wordpress has allowed me to stay ahead of the game, and compete with professional-level sites, even though it's just me working alone as a freelancer.

Cons

1- with free or freemium themes or plugins many times you do not get all the customization you would like. 2- despite the fact that the Spanish-speaking community that uses wordpress is growing, it is still quite difficult to find so many options for themes or plugins in Spanish, compared to what there is in English, which are far surpassed, having more variety and even quality in some cases.

Reason for choosing WordPress

i chose wordpress for the reasons mentioned above. Above all for reliability, harmonized power with ease of use.

[Joomla](https://www.capterra.com/p/161648/Joomla/)

Joomla seemed like a good option at first, and in fact I must confess that I had a certain prejudice in using wordpress, because it did not seem so powerful compared to joomla ... but in the end I began to notice that joomla had a very steep learning curve, especially for someone who needs to start a good project in a short time and with few resources. In joolma it is also very difficult to find so many free things available, as if you find them in wordpress. That is why I think that wordpress is also the best option if you are just starting out and do not want to spend a lot of money on plugins and themes. Joomla also has the disadvantage, in my experience, that it has a confusing and excessively complex dashboard, which takes a long time to get used to, with which many errors are generated when uploading content, because when you are a newbie, you lose a lot time looking between configuration options or blocks within the panel, which are sometimes very similar and that confuses. Then I also found that wordpress was absolutely powerful, and there were no limits to what I could do with it. I verified that his code is elegant and versatile, and that in reality the prejudice that he had about wordpress was not really the truth. Wordpress proved to me to be a very powerful and competitive tool in every way.

### "WordPress Offers Many Options"

August 13, 2021

5.0

WordPress has made our forms system so easy. Our gravity forms offer options that provide the information that our users need, with an option to export to a spreadsheet for easy review. Beaver Builder is a great block-editor plug-in with components that make our pages interesting and easy to navigate, along with offering a better design experience.

Pros

WordPress is an open-source content management system that offers a wide variety of themes for a unique design and a customized website. With frequent software updates and numerous plug-ins available, WordPress provides an easy way to make a nice-looking and easy-to-navigate site.

Cons

Gutenberg is the WordPress block editor. It was difficult for us to implement because we were already using another block editor. WordPress does allow users to continue with the classic editor, which still enables us to continue using our plug-in.

### "A great tool for developing & managing websites. Love it so far!"

August 30, 2021

5.0

I am being comfortable with the use of WordPress. I have been using this tool for a long time & I will love to have more improvement for the software over time.

Pros

If anything comes to your mind about building a website, WordPress is one of the primary words you will recall. I love this tool because of its very beneficial features under a hood including easy website building with a lot of pre-built templates. It has a very simple interface that can be operated with beginner knowledge.

Cons

Integrating Add-ons in the alternative tools is easier nowadays. They also do not have any advanced level built-in theme which is an issue for the beginner website builder. Other then this it's a fine tool.

Reason for choosing WordPress

Because of its feature & trust issues since it's the most popular website builder & anyone can start with free features.

### "Great website tool, but..."

February 12, 2019

4.0

Overall, Wordpress is solid website or blog option. If you like to tinker with code and dive into the nitty gritty of website development, you will absolutely LOVE Wordpress. The customizable options are nearly limitless and the power of the program is great.

Pros

There are SO MANY WAYS to customize your blog or web site with Wordpress, that if you can't create a page you like, it is truly your issue! Not only does Wordpress offer options, but the Wordpress community is so creative and a simple Google search will reveal countless free and purchasable options for your Wordpress site. It is truly the best feature of the their offerings. Overall, once you begin using the software, the basic operation of a site is pretty simple and so many products are made to work fairly well with the Wordpress engine. The WP community is super creative and bright, and there seem to be a lot of users who are eager to help other users. It is a great product.

Cons

The biggest downside is the back end operation of your site; especially if you're like me and don't want to spend much time under the hood. Because so many companies and products offer Wordpress compatible plugins, you can get just about anything you need for an update. HOWEVER, on several occasions we experienced a Wordpress update that caused conflicts with some of our plugins, some of which were key cogs in our website. Of course, the plugin creators usually caught up quickly, but sometimes a couple of days would go by before everything was behaving again. DISCLAIMER: I never became fluent enough in the Wordpress backend to sole these problems on my own, so the frustration was more significant as I was dependent on the WP community (which is great!) to help solve these issues. It seems like 10-12 times a year we had technical glitches that made it frustrating for a guy like me who was looking for more plug-n-play software.

### "Wish is was simpler to use"

September 8, 2022

5.0

My overall experience with wordpress is good I still use it for my business, great features but a little to difficult to use especially for someone with little to no knowledge on designing and customizing a website for their business.

Pros

There are great features in Wordpress, the free website is very useful. I used the free and paid plans. I think wordpress for me the free website sometimes comes like a paid website I am still able to reach people, well maybe not as much as the paid website. But it is still very useful.

Cons

It gets a bit complicated to use at times. It took me quite sometime to actually figure out how to use it and I have and still use wordpress for 2 years and no doubt I still have a difficult time using it for my business.

Reason for choosing WordPress

To be honest although wordpress is a bit difficult to understand in the beginning. You are able to reach more people and acquire followers for my blog and I used it for free for quite some time until I decided to purchase one year plans. The free website is great as well I still get visitors and likes on my blog. As for the others that I have tried to use for free for a while it didn't give me the same experience or result I have with wordpress. I'm still learning wordpress and will still choose it over most website builders.

### "El mejor software para crear sitios web en funcion de costo / rendimiento!"

May 30, 2023

Reason for choosing WordPress

Lo elegí por lo funcional, por la variedad de recursos que ofrece y porque también es facil enseñarlo a otros.

### "WordPress is incredibly powerful and it's the only website platform that I use."

July 9, 2018

5.0

I guess the bulk of benefits come with how flexibly powerful the software is. I can make just about any kind of website and make it work well. It's easy to manage, patch, and assign various rights to various users so they can make use of it. It's free and it works really well on Windows IIS installations as well as Apache installations. It doesn't require a lot of space in a MySQL DB in order to function, and it's super easy to backup and restore if the need arises. There are so many benefits to using the software. It's darn near a perfect platform in terms of ease of use and flexibility.

Pros

There are so many things to love about WordPress, but I think the biggest thing for me is how flexible it is. There are so many community developed themes and plugins that I can turn a stock WordPress install into just about any type of website that I want. For example, I setup WordPress to be a church website including functionality like online prayer requests, photo albums, a community calendar, and message forums so church members could discuss community events (or whatever else they wanted to talk about). Another example I setup a website for a open source/sci-fi convention that included functionality like discussion forums, online registration, and event schedule planning. All I had to do was dig around in the plugin gallery to find the plugins that I needed for my vision. If you add all of that flexibility and power into an easy to use platform, then you've got WordPress. The learning curve isn't very steep and I've been able to train computer novices to publish content to WordPress sites in just a few minutes. I honestly can't say enough good things about the platform as a whole.

Cons

The ONLY thing that I take issue with when it comes to WordPress is that it's sometimes hard to troubleshoot technical issues with upgrades to the software. Since the bulk of the support is community driven, you often have to dig around forum posts for a bit before you find the help that you need. It just takes some patience is all. That being said though, I've learned so much of how WordPress works over the years that I've gotten to the point that it's rare that I need to search for solutions to problems. There's a satisfaction that comes with knowing a platform well enough to fix your own issues.

### "WordPress is a powerful and popular platform for creating websites."

November 17, 2022

5.0

Overall, WordPress is an excellent CMS for just about anyone looking to create and manage a website or blog. It’s easy to use yet packed with powerful features, making it suitable for both novice users and experienced developers alike.

Pros

One of the biggest pros is how easy it is to customize a site with WordPress. With its intuitive drag-and-drop features and themes, you can have your website up and running in no time. Plus, you don't need any coding knowledge to make your website look exactly the way you want it.Another pro of WordPress is that it’s very search engine friendly. Search engines crawl through content and can easily pick up on your site's content if it has been coded properly—something that's made much easier with WordPress.

Cons

One of the biggest drawbacks to using WordPress is that it can be very slow. Without the right optimization settings and resources, pages on a WordPress site can take a long time to load. This can make your website inaccessible or difficult to navigate, resulting in poor user experience and lower rankings in search engine results. Additionally, there's also an increased chance of security breaches if the site isn't updated regularly. WordPress is also vulnerable to spam and malicious code, so it's important to keep your site secure.

### "Best in bests, Very productive and functional with ease of use "

October 25, 2018

5.0

I am using WordPress since 2013 to create websites, pages and my own personal blog. I started using it when I didn't know web development and WordPress empowers me to make my own website. It was very easy to learn it and make a website that I want. I have made so many websites for my friends and some of my clients and everyone is very happy with its quick construction, easy to use builders and variety of themes and plugins which can be installed and customized with a click. It helped me to succeed. I always recommend WordPress for web development to my friends because of its ease to use, versatility and power to build anything in low cost.

Pros

WordPress allows making blogs, websites, pages, e-commerce sites and even a social network. It’s so powerful. One of the huge advantage of working with WordPress is, it's very cheap and quick to build a website or blog. It is open source so it’s free to install it on a self-hosted server just by a click. I had a business idea so making a website with WordPress took no time, just installed it and applied a theme and it’s good to go. Another advantage of WordPress is its plugins. There are so many WordPress plugins which allows WordPress to add more functionality. The basic installation of WordPress allows to create pages, websites, show contents and manage content from the backend. WordPress is a really strong blogging engine so you can have your own blog and accept comments from visitors, so that’s what is in the WordPress core. But if you want to capture leads or a calendar or a signup form or a nice looking slider or whatever you can think of; you can build using WordPress Plugins, which is a huge advantage and most of the plugins to add features to WordPress website are free. Third advantage is its standard for CMS. There are a lot of free resources online where you can learn how to make a WordPress website or blog. A huge WordPress developers community and resources are available to provide support for free, so what do you want if you can get things done for free which is a huge huge advantage.

Cons

As WordPress is free so it doesn't mean to create a website using WordPress will work forever without updating. To make it work properly it may need monthly or quarterly updates to pages, theme and plugins because these things receive updates from companies which developed these awesome themes and plugins. If you don't update them time to time your website can become slower, and sometimes a plugin change in the update may break website with is very awful sometimes. So make sure to update theme and plugin on time. Another disadvantage is of WordPress is, as it is free so there is a lot of demand for WordPress and sometime you need to build a website which is right for now but after a couple of months or a year when your business expands and you want to make changes to the website, so you may need an expert to do it for you; which is very hard to find the real expert. Because everyone knows how to make a website with WordPress and customize it but very less of them are truly WordPress experts and can do what exactly do you want. So before building a website for your business using WordPress first meet an expert, discuss your requirement and ask for help so that he can guide you well to select a great theme and supported plugin for your website, So that if you may want to make changes to your website in future when you scale your business; you can do it easily with a very low cost.

Es buena plataforma pero tambien es facil encontrar mejores opciones, me sirvió para poder administrar mi sitio pero no cumple todas las expectativas que uno espera de una plataforma tan grande.

### "Wordpress - The world’s most popular content management system"

March 21, 2022

5.0

WordPress has become one of the most popular platforms for website owners and bloggers. With over 54 million websites using WordPress, it’s easy to see why so many people prefer this platform. There are many reasons why WordPress is so popular and has become the go-to platform for so many -- it’s easy to use, it’s customizable, and it offers a lot of design and layout options.

Pros

1\. Wordpress has become the world’s most popular content management system by powering 28% of the web. WordPress is a free and open-source content management system that provides a platform for site and blog owners to create and manage their online presence. 2. Wordpress boasts over 26 million active websites and blogs worldwide, making it the most popular platform for small and medium-sized businesses to build a presence on the web. 3. It's easy to get started and powerful enough for large-scale blogging and digital publishing 4. It's one of the most popular choices among developers and designers because of its flexibility and customizability. Most users are amazed at how easy it is to create a professional-looking site using Wordpress. 5. WordPress also has an extremely active community behind it, which means you can ask questions and get answers from other users all the time. This makes WordPress a great choice for users who want to learn how to use it, or for users who want to make their website look exactly the way they want it to look.

Cons

1\. It’s also the most frequent target of cyber attacks, with over a billion Wordpress-based websites being hacked. 2.Due to a lot of Plugin support , sometimes, the website tends to suffer a bit while loading the content.

overall, WordPress is a robust an excellent system that I highly recommend for small and medium sized businesses.

Pros

using WordPress has allowed us to take website development, fully in-house without hiring programmers or outsourcing. What I like most about WordPress is the availability of thousands of templates, compatibility with hundreds of third-party, software, integrations, and the ability to create a professional e-commerce website without any prior coding experience.

Cons

because there are so many features. Sometimes it is easy to get confused exactly where changes should be made and requires some digging around for the correct settings.

### "Great for fussy UI people and amateurs alike"

March 28, 2019

5.0

WordPress is a large part of my business - developing it for clients with businesses. I have also worked on web platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, and Shopify. And the last 2 are pretty good! Once people have those kinds of sites up and running, however, I find them wanting customizations to their sites that are not possible on those platforms. Had they set up their sites using WordPress, it would have. Clearly, I enjoy working on WordPress sites a lot!

Pros

The reason why I turned to WordPress expertise was because basically everyone else started to, too! The benefit of this is that people of all talents are creating all sorts of apps (called plugins) that have great functions and features for it. Same thing for the themes (that's the look of the site). There's nothing that can't be done with WordPress. Basic awesome websites. Amazing multi-functional enterprise-level websites. Even if you're not an expert, and don't have high demands for your website to ... build a rocket ship for you... you can still enjoy using it and getting your business or your artwork out to the people.

Cons

Funny enough, the thing that makes it so great can also be a thorn in the side. Just because your WordPress site can do all these cool things such as connect people from your site to an autoreponder email list, or accept payments via Paypal easily, it does not also mean that removing other keystrokes/steps for other functions is as easy. So website owners who love their WordPress sites and want the sites to be even more efficient, to do more things automatically, often come across this tricky situation where 'customization' is required. And that means testing, time, and money. Sometimes significant amounts. Customization is open ended. The sky is the limit to what your website can do. But just because it offers a whole lot of cool features out of the box doesn't mean that adding to those features is easy. That's something I run into a lot with clients. The other thing is that the high level of free offerings of apps (again, called plugins) means your website will be able to do a bunch of cool things for free. But you have to be somewhat aware of your site on a regular basis to make sure that the plugins remain up to date and don't cause conflicts with other parts of the website. Regular maintenance does not have to be a big deal or cost at all. But if you don't do it, the costs can become huge when you have to clean something up.

### "The simplest and best free web building software on the planet"

October 20, 2022

5.0

Simple and effective for any type of website yo will ever need. Just ensure you have the right power at the server end, and the right support from your hosting or web design company, and you can't go wrong. It's cheap, easy and works great!

Pros

I love how intuitive WordPress has always been, from setting up a new site, even if you don't have your own server, you can do this vie the WordPress website, but even if you have to build your own database and upload all the files manually it's very simple, and there are so many resources online to help with literally anything you need, google the issue and you'll find web pages, tutorials and videos to help with anything. And most hosting companies offer 1-click installations and support with WordPress now too, which gives you the confidence to have a go, as whatever goes wrong can be fixed!

Cons

The new block editor in WordPress I'm actually not as happy with as the original editor, perhaps it's just familiarity as WordPress feels like an old friend as I've been using it for many years now. However in my opinion the biggest issue is 3rd party theme builders, bulking up their themes with large CSS, JS and lack of image compression, which has made WordPress feel bulkier and slower on some sites than it really is out of the box.

Alternatives considered

[Drupal](https://www.capterra.com/p/119594/Drupal/)[Joomla](https://www.capterra.com/p/161648/Joomla/)

Reason for choosing WordPress

It's better, faster, has less server and database load, is better supported, has more themes and plugins for any function you can imagine, and above all it's free!

Having coded sites by hand for years I was looking for something easy to use, I tried Drupal and Joomla as well as WordPress at the time about 10 years ago, and WordPress was the simplest backend UI by far, and still is to this day.

### "Built my entire business with Wordpress"

November 28, 2018

5.0

My overall experience with WordPress is positive. It has always been my #1 recommendation to new bloggers and serious marketers online. My only hope is that Gutenberg will become less buggy over time.

Pros

I was a struggling college student when I first installed Wordpress on my cheap hosting. Back then I picked Wordpress because it was easy to install and open-source. I had a few technical skills and no money so that was the best CMS for my new website. The first blog was pretty basic, but it did the job. Thanks to WordPress, I eventually managed to build a small following by publishing blog posts on my website. Today, I continue to power all my sites with WordPress. Here's who I recommend WordPress for: - If your website is going to be content-heavy (i.e. you publish a lot of blog posts) - WordPress makes the job very easy. Formatting is easy, writing is easy, uploading media is easy... - People who have none or little technical skills - you're not a programmer but would like to have a professional looking website. There are lots of features and plugins on WordPress that allows you to drag and drop elements on your site so you don't have to touch a line of code if you don't want to! - People looking to MVP SaaS projects - this is relatively new for me but I've noticed tons of people making money by building simple SaaS on top of WordPress. It's gonna save you a ton of time and money building your MVP on WordPress compared to other platforms.

Cons

I've always loved WordPress but the one thing I'm having mixed feelings about is Gutenberg. It has been working quite well for me for the last couple of months and I've been loving the ease of using it, but since the latest update, the entire thing lags when I write. This really sucks for me and I think I have to switch back to the 'Classic Editor'. Could be a theme issue, but I've converted almost all my new posts to Gutenberg format now I don't know if I remove Gutenberg what would happen to the formatting on my posts.

### "Great for the price and customizable too."

July 31, 2021

5.0

WordPress has helped me as a marketer for the organization I work with. I particularly like that you can (100%) customize everything with WordPress, and still use reasonably complimentary color palettes, maintain an efficient website and manage your content without hassles. The only issue I have is with the number of plug-ins you may need when you desire better features such as SEO.

Pros

Wordpress is great for its multiple features and options. And comparing this software to most site builders, I'd say it's one of the least expensive options. I love that I was able to work with different themes with fixed complimentary color palettes. That way, even if you don't know how to mix colors, you won't be doing anything too crazy. Wordpress recommends different palettes for you to choose from too, so you would have several options to work with. I also found it easy to access old posts, files and images. So, as a CMS, WordPress passes.

Cons

You have to install multiple plug-ins to get your website as you want. Plug-ins are great, but when you have to install a plug-in for every extra feature, it begins to slow your website down.

### ""The best free CMS""

February 26, 2021

5.0

When I started creating my own online store and saved a lot of time and money using WordPress, it helped me a lot. Overall, learning WordPress is very beneficial because it allows me to maximize my project in the best version. There are many plugins that can meet your preferences. After all, you don't need to spend a lot of energy to create and manage a website, it doesn't take long to learn the basics and everything goes well. I would like to thank the developer team for this excellent package. Really, I highly recommend this CMS.

Pros

With a maximum of two weeks of learning, you can create dynamic web pages for almost anyone. Powerful plugins/themes and forum support make this product superior to any other product. I've never encountered a problem that can't be understood in various forums and FAQs on the Internet. There are several features and templates to guide you in choosing the theme you wish to continue with. In addition to the templates, if you switch from one template to another, it will automatically transfer your content from one design to another, so you don't have to re-enter all the information.

Cons

Although there are hundreds of templates and customizations to choose from, some are free, but to extend customizations or unlock other features, there is a cost. Most of the technical problems do not come directly from Wordpress itself, but from its theme or plug-in development partners. If one of the plug-ins you rely on is obsolete and abandoned by the designer, you may be out of luck and have to rush to find a new solution when a problem occurs. I hope revisions are simpler and incremental backups are simpler too. Every customization or theme has a cost associated with it; however, these costs are usually negligible for what you get.

For me, Wordpress is the best open source CMS, it has a larger community to provide support and scalability, and publish plugins, updates and themes.
