### "WordPress changed my life..."

December 12, 2018

5.0

Pros

There are too many pros about WordPress. I have been using WP for over 10 years now. I make a living working for myself because of WP and I don't see myself ever going back to anything else! Here are some reasons why I love WP: 1. It's free and open-source. It's run by an amazing company called Automattic. 2. It runs about 1/3 of the world wide web. Let that sink in. There are TONS of web design platforms out there and WP is the biggest of them all. This means it is heavily supported and backed by many people. It's not going anywhere so it gives me a peace of mind. 3. It's user-friendly. It's incredibly easy to use, which is huge considering all of the amazing features it has... 4. It's powerful. WP is so powerful that you can practically build ANY type of site with it. It's also incredibly flexible so you have limitless options. 5. I started my own company and became my own boss largely because of WordPress. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for WP! 6. The community is pretty awesome. Need any help? I would be surprised if you couldn't find it.

Cons

The thing I like least only just came recently. I am excited about Gutenberg and I think it's paving the way for how we build sites. It's a smart platform and it's ONLY going to get better and better. What I didn't like was how Gutenberg came about. The release of Gutenberg felt rushed. There was a lack of communication from leaders about the release so that needs major improvement.

### "Most elegant Content Management Solution you can find"

October 5, 2021

All in one handy tool to give life to your dream website in no time and with practically zero cost for web development.

Pros

Availability is free and only for the ultra extended functionalities you have to pay - plugins. Easiness in deployment and setup was very convenient when playing with the product.

Cons

The migration from the development environment to the production environment was challenging unless you have sound knowledge in Website Management/Administration with Database configuration.

### "WordPress is an excellent tool if you want to create web pages easily and in a short time"

May 24, 2018

5.0

it is quickly resolved to create pages and web portals, but interacting or coupling the topics to your needs can sometimes take a lot of time and dedication, but I recommend wordpress for the creation of web portals in a short period of time

Pros

1.) It is very easy to install, on a server it is relatively simple. In fact, on many occasions it is not necessary to resort to the steps of the manual installation of WordPress, since the Hosting management systems offer the automatic installation of the latest version of the system, both the web files and the database. 2.) WordPress allows you to decide whether to continue with one of the themes that WordPress offers us by default (twenty seventeen, twenty fifteen or twenty sixteen) or if we want to create a theme ourselves, or implement an external theme. 3.) The WordPress team is in a constant technological advance, There are literally thousands of people programming plugins, suggesting improvements and developing themes (templates) for WordPress, which makes it in continuous and rapid evolution.

Cons

1-) Heaviness of the platform. WordPress can turn your web into something slow, very slow, especially when plugins are loaded. And sometimes, installing plugins is not an option, but a necessity. For example, if you want a multi-language online store, you will very likely have to install woocommerce and a translation plugin such as WPML. 2.) Difficulty to solve problems of operation: WordPress is an open source platform, but knowing all the plugins, its operation, the platform itself, and what is failing (if something fails) is a task that can consume a lot of time, effort and energy.

### "WordPress Review - Best Choice for Creating Websites"

September 4, 2021

5.0

My experience with Wordpress have been nothing short of wonderful. It continues to remain my number one choice when it comes to building blogs, professional business websites, and ecommerce stores for myself and my clients.

Pros

Free to download and install Gives you control over your data and files Allows you freedom to design anythng you want There are lots of plugins and extensions (free and paid) that allows you design and achieve whatever it is you want to achieve with your website. Easily integrate with a lot of third-party tools like autoresponders, CPM sotware, payment gateways etc

Cons

The themes that come with the Wordpress are too basic You will need to download a drag and drop website builder if you really want to build something exciting

### "There is a reason it is the most commonly used"

November 13, 2019

5.0

I've been on teams that have built and managed sites doing tens of millions of visits a month on heavily customized instances of WordPress, all the way down to personal pet projects that get single digit visits a month. It's the only CMS I consistently recommend.

Pros

The ecosystem built around WordPress is second to none. Every front end developer is familiar with WordPress. There are multiple plugin options for just about anything you could ever want to do. Most importantly, it's open source and therefore free. Some people are deterred by open source, but WordPress powers a third of the Internet, it isn't going anywhere.

Cons

It can be a bit of a pain in the butt to do certain things. For example, if you want to use it as a CMS for a larger site and not just a blog, the out of the box configuration needs customization. Also, they recently switched to a fundamentally new way of doing things "Gutenberg" and it is not without its warts. Over time this will improve.

### "Easy to use, even for beginners."

April 6, 2023

4.0

I have been able to publish articles and blog posts on my job's website without the help of the Web Designer, and am able to solve problems easily on my own in the case that the Web Designer isn't available.

Pros

While I don't delve into the web development or design, I do publish content on my job's website using Wordpress. It has been a great tool, very easy to use, and easily accessible anywhere where I need to. Sometimes I need to make changes on the go, and the layout for editing blog posts is very straightforward and easy to use.

Cons

There are some issues when scheduling articles/blog posts. When retrieving the link, the cover image won't appear when I try to schedule a Facebook post with the direct link, and this greatly sets me behind on my work.

### "WordPress is the best"

September 4, 2023

5.0

Pros

I am a business owner and am not hiring any marketing agency to take care of my website. However, WP is so easy to use that a person like me can create and maintain my own website without any technical knowledge. The ease of use is probably the best feature of WP, you don't need any technical knowledge or need to hire any website expert. Just take a few hours and design the website on your own.

Cons

Though it is easy to use, but you still need to invest time in knowing the process. This has taken a while, and I have had to consult Google or watch YouTube videos to find out information, but it was worth the effort. I don't have to work according to the schedule of website designers and do what I want. This is not a hindrance, you are saving a few hundred dollars every month. I don't see any trouble with WP.

### "Enabling Global Reach, incredible functionality and adaptability"

January 14, 2019

5.0

Exceptional. I have tried Blogger and other blogging applications but none have 'fitted'. I will stick with Wordpress, thanks.

Pros

I have been using Wordpress for well over 5 years, to run my personal blog, to support other blogs, to establish and maintain dynamic websites. The vast array of features and functions are what keep bringing me back, as well as the ease with which you can have a secure site up and running in minutes. I continue to use the free version online for my own blog, and have never been disappointed. Being able to blog from anywhere, on any device, picking up where I left off, adding images, video and audio, has enabled me to be a truly global blogger. The integration with social media channels makes sharing and engaging with my content a breeze, capturing new audiences all the time. The huge array of add-ons and extensions mean that any new idea that I have are fully enabled - I've yet to not find an add-on for my latest "good idea". I have used the online, browser-based versions and have also established my own Wordpress server on a Raspberry Pi buried deep in among my machines. The latter took a little technical know-how but there are so many official help sites that it wasn't difficult to do. The statistics and free analysis that comes from the dashboard are a god-send and I absolutely cannot operate without them, allowing me to tweak my keywords and content to reach bigger audiences.

Cons

It's tough to find something that I don't like. I could moan that there isn't enough available for the free user but that wouldn't be true. If anything, the huge array of free add-ons does mean that I sometimes question the overall security of my own Wordpress server but I have absolute faith in the central Wordpress server and so if I want to try anything new, I do it on there first.

It is a very intuitive software by which you do not need coding experience to create websites, it gives me the ability to create a website without having any coding skills, it is possible to create a professional website that represents us as a company with the tools of This editor provides me with the agreement to design or extend communication between professionals on the web to their particularity and in their quality of professionalism, its interface is well designed and intuitive, I like that we can install a template based on the theme of our site web, it also has many add-ons, it allows you to design a web space where you can capture any type of information, it also allows me to use a large part of its options for the design of blogs and web pages.

Pros

It is a cheaper website building platform to do business online, it is available to intervene and solve problems, it also offers countless functions including plugins, plugins, Mailchimp, various SEO tools, integration services, backup functions with options security and much more, it is easy to use without knowing the development skill, it has all the right tools and the blog customization is very easy, we can also add many useful plugins for free and we can use many professional themes as templates for our designs, its visual interface is interactive and makes it easy to use and understand without any programming skills.

Cons

I have no problem with this tool, it seems very correct and does its job very well, so far my experience has been very positive with WordPress.

### "A powerful yet simple solution for all your website and/or blogging needs"

September 30, 2018

5.0

Pros

At its core, Wordpress is a blogging engine. Most hosting services nowadays allow you to setup Wordpress with one click. It is really powerful, and comes with tons of themes and adds on. Wordpress also allows you to design simple websites, such as company profile, portfolio, C.V. and much more. - Ease of setup (1 click setup on almost every famous hosting service) - Many themes to choose from (both free and paid) - Adjustable functionality, while it is a blogging engine at its core, you can simply adjust it to be a normal website, company profile page, C.V. or even an e-commerce solution - Tons of plugins and add-ons that add a lot of functionalities - Detailed reporting and integrates well with many reporting and analytics services - Strong integration with marketing tools such as MailChimp, HubSpot, Marketo, etc... - Many themes support all device sizes already.

Cons

\- While many themes are easy to customize and work with, but if you are not a developer and you are looking to adjust something outside of the box, you might have to pay more than you want for simple stuff. - Sometimes Wordpress simply crashes after installing a conflicting plugin or addon, if you are using shared hosting, this can be a problem as the only solution is to delete all the addons-plugins, and if that does not work, you might end up having to reinstall Wordpress from scratch (Tip: ALWAYS back up your website on daily basis).

### "WordPress is the future in creating websites."

September 4, 2019

5.0

It has been a great experience, I like to use WordPress, because I feel safe, since it is a very reliable platform. However, with the time I used WordPress I learned more than I thought, I can already manage the edition of a website as an expert, I receive many visits and good comments, and some constructive criticisms like everything, but thanks to WordPress I was able to create my Website professionally and I appreciate it.

Pros

I always wanted to create a website, but I couldn't find the way, until I found WordPress, and I realized that it is a very complete platform with an intuitive and stable interface that adapts to any user, how to build a website with This The platform is perfect, as it provides ideas and lets the imagination fly, especially with free and professional templates that simplify work efficiently, has many web design features that are really good and collaborative, even has thousands of downloadable applications and add-ons With easy installation and my favorite is Elementor, which is very good for users who do not have much experience in handling HTML codes, some templates are free and other payments with affordable prices. The way of editing is incredible, it is not necessary to change the tab, everything is in one place and your options are very well organized, being honest is one of the best platforms to create a website, WordPress provides me with an example of a website created with this platform, and I looked at them and there I realized that I had already visited those professional websites, and it was amazing, that's why I decided to choose WordPress before others.

Cons

Although I really like this platform, I have noticed that it has some negative aspects, since some functions do not adapt to the website created, it provides many add-ons that are easily installed, but generally there are several types of conflicts with the edition, the following happens to me : the theme does not fit the complement, the edition is slow, it is difficult to add a widget, errors when entering the edition and I am forced to enter the safe mode, on the other hand, the support responds very fast but it is not so capable to solve the inconvenience caused.

### "Wordpress Empowers Your Content"

August 2, 2018

5.0

Overall, my experience with Wordpress has been excellent. Not only can the site support complex web development builds, but it's easy to use, so much so that our clients can make website updates and modifications themselves. Beyond ease of use, Wordpress is affordable - much more so than other platforms, which offer the same capabilities. Also, Wordpress supports integration with many other platforms, like inbound marketing software and other lead-generation platforms. This means you're not solely restricted to Wordpress platforms - you can use whatever add ons and integrations you'd like.

Pros

Wordpress is my favorite website development platform. It combines beautiful templates, easy-to-use interface and a host of free plugins to improve the look, feel and functionality of your website. I use wordpress for the majority of the websites I build for clients, primarily because we can build websites exactly as designed, thanks to the customizable templates and plenty of design tools at our disposal. The best part of wordpress: the blogging functionality. That's how Wordpress became popular, and it's blog functionality is still one of the best in the business.

Cons

While Wordpress has a great number of pros, one drawback is the platform's SEO functionality. While you can download a number of SEO plug-ins to improve your site's on-page SEO, the linking system within the Wordpress app leaves a bit to be desired. However, several well-tested and well-known plugins can solve this issue - it just requires a little work and know-how to install said plugins.

### "Be in business and online in a weekend."

September 22, 2017

5.0

The biggest benefit is not having to hire an designer to maintain my own websites, CRM and mailing lists. All of these vital areas of my business are operated from my Wordpress install. For small business owners, you save time by making updates to your site as needed and money by having your own DIY tech.

Pros

The pros of Wordpress are vast for both the novice and experienced user. Growing with Wordpress over the years as my business grew has been a great journey. For the novice, start with a managed hosting service until you grow out of it. And you will quickly. From there, you can then move to a platform like Amazon AWS and pay for what you use as you grow, To be live quickly, purchase templates from a number of websites made by excellent designers. Search by your business type or make a template your own with minor modification and tweaks. As you get more comfortable making changes to your WordPress site, plug-ins become very important to add functionality easily and quickly. Once again, you can visit one of many websites for professional plug-ins or utilize to the WordPress Repository for a large selection of free plug-ins. Now years later, I am designing my own themes as well as updating my previously purchased themes to be more inline with my design vision. It has become easier to be more adventurous without having to learn a line of code. The results are very custom and professional looking. For small business you will be hard pressed to find a more cost effective solution.

Cons

Back-up on a regular basis! There are plenty of plug-in to do this. The biggest issue or Con I see for most users, especially novice users is when adding a new plug-in that breaks the site the site has not been backed-up. Plug-ins are hit or miss. You may have to try a few to ensure you do not have incompatibility issues so have 1 or two back-ups ready to deploy.

My first experience with wordpress was more than 10 years ago. At that time, I needed to make a website for myself, which I finally managed to make for free (I only paid for hosting and a domain). Since then, I have already created several websites in wordpress for my clients.

Pros

### "Good Blogging Software"

June 24, 2022

5.0

Overall, this software is great for someone who wants to work on a computer. But if you are planning to use the mobile app a lot, it’s extremely glitchy and not a great fit.

Pros

I loved how easy it was to get set up with WordPress and the fact that there are a lot of free widgets, templates, etc. available. Their customer support was also very quick to respond and overall it offered the tools to make a beautiful modern website for our business.

Cons

The software is very under developed and glitchy. I had to reach out to customer support many times and it was very inefficient. The app does not function well, and I primarily use mobile devices for accessing the site as I don’t always have time to get to a computer. It does work well on the computer though.

### "Best Free Open Source for your Website"

December 6, 2019

5.0

Wordpress associated with some plugins helped us to create our own website and quickly update our content without spending thousands of euros on external developers.

Pros

I've been using Wordpress for almost 3 years now and at first I was a bit afraid of all the different features and felt a bit lost but after understanding the basics you can easily navigate and create ANY content you like. On top of that, if you encounter any problem on Wordpress, you have high chance that it already happened to someone and that someone else already gave a detailed explanation on how to fix it. Also we can't talk about Wordpress without talking about the tons of free plugins available which make website creation a lot easier.

Cons

The only cons I can add is the fact that updates might be problematic and cause problem on your website. That's why you need to be aware of any new version and before updating it, look online if the new version won't cause any conflict with your plugins or template for exemple.

### "The most well known, but not for beginners "

June 21, 2022

It was good, but I would say WordPress is more for website builders who know what they're doing and want complete control for customizing. If you are a new blogger I would look into other hosting companies. Save yourself the time and use GoDaddy.

Pros

WordPress is the most well-known website hosting company. Everybody who is trying to teach you how to set up a blog recommends WordPress and offers a lot of training. It's good for being well known, but not my favorite.

Cons

Wordpress forming is not what beginner website builder or bloggers should use. It requires a very big learning curve for installing templates and requires you to know exactly what you're doing. There's so many plugins and updates not to mention having to build pages from scratch. I spent so many months trying to learn and I'm a pretty fast learner. But it just took a lot of time away from my family and I wish I would have gone with an easier website builder like GoDaddy.

June 20, 2023

WordPress is a great system and solution for everyone who wants to create a high-level website without any code skills, give it a try it takes some time to control it but it's worth it.

Pros

\-Free open-source tool with a big community and it continues to evolve.-Designed to make your website responsive to Desktop, Mobile, and Tablet-Its have a huge market of plugins for every need some are for free and some not-It's very flexible for modifications.-It's not very hard to move your site to another host.-Basically, you can create with it any website you want like an online store, blog, landing pages, or online courses.-If you are out of time to design your site there are a lot of ready themes to use.-A comfortable dashboard to control your site and monitor it.

Cons

\-Sometimes you will meet some options or elements hard to delete or modify which will require some code use.-There is no official support if you get stuck, most of the solutions will be found online from the community posts or youtube but it's not a real problem.

### "Complicated language for your own pages is a thing of the past."

January 25, 2019

5.0

The portal of our Podcast was born thanks to the free services of Wordpress, we started without domain, or additional templates. As the project grew, we managed to contract the basic plan and our range of possibilities increased, now we are aiming to grow thanks to the options offered by Wordpress. One of the most outstanding aspects is that we do not hire a web page developer, we ourselves with our effort, we get the design and start-up of our site, that is only offered by Wordpress.

Pros

Together with my partner, we decided to hire Wordpress services a year ago, it has been the best, we have an unattended platform, which guides you step by step to specify your projects. I really like the availability of templates that offer so that it can adapt to your needs, in addition, they provide many plugins that make the work even simpler. The era of handling complex codes for a web page remained in the past with Wordpress, anyone can access their commercial option and begin to develop their ideas. Another thing that I really like is that I can give a stylized aspect to my portal using the suggestions that are available within the platform. Your account management is the best, everything is minimalist that offers, another point in favor that I like.

Cons

It has many aspects that I value and defend, but it could improve the prices of its plans, make advanced and entrepreneurial plans much more accessible, because at present they do not adjust to the reality of developing countries as in the case of Haiti, Venezuela or any other nation whose population does not have the economic advantages that many others have. The rest have no complaints or negative, they are on excellent way.

June 19, 2023

5.0

My overall experience with WordPress is excellent because it helps me a lot in managing my content and starting my blogging website journey. before that I have zero knowledge of website designing. I dearly recommend this to the people who just started their online carrier in making money.

Pros

WordPress is user friendly platform for users who have zero knowledge of website designing. Also there are many plugins and already made free templets for use.

Cons

regular updating the WordPress is mandatory for proper security and health of your website.
