### "An Essential Piece of Software "

January 31, 2023

5.0

I have been using the platform for years and it is wonderful. Wordpress powers 43% of the internet so that speaks volumes. And there is good reason why 65% of websites built with a CMS are powered by Wordpress.

Pros

The software is free. It gives you a visual editor for your content. There is a wide variety of frameworks, plugins and themes available for the platform. When kept up to date in conjuction with a properly configured server the platform is also secure.

Cons

It feels as if many possible functions have been left out of the platform causing designers to have to find plugins to install. The more plugins you install, the slower things can get. It takes a deft hand to know how to find the right mix of form and functionality without losing speed.

Reason for choosing WordPress

Magento is complicated and bothersome. Joomla is fine but I believe the software out there for Wordpress is far superior.

### "THE BEST FREE WEBSITE BUILDER IN THE WORLD"

August 12, 2021

5.0

My experience with WordPress has been wonderful, without modesty. Because, in addition to being free to create websites, or any page. I still have the ability to create as many websites as I want in various formats. Of course there are some important paid wordpress plugins. However, I have done very well with the free versions. This tool is very accurate in everything. was created and thought to really help the person to develop a great project. And it's constantly being updated, I get messages weekly about everything that happens with my sites. Until today I had no problems using the platform. I really recommend WordPress.

Pros

If it comes to website creators, WordPress is undoubtedly the best. I've been using it for over two years and every day. I've never had a problem with this tool, it has loads of plugins for integration with WP that are sensational. Easy handling and very intuitive. The connection of WordPress with plugins like Elementor and Payment Plugins like Pago Marketplace are essential for my business today. Not to mention the numerous free templates and page layouts. I have an epic theme that is paid too, however WordPress allows me to integrate with that tool as well. My sites look amazing.

Cons

I have no complaints about using Wordpress, for beginners maybe it is complex to use with so many guides and descriptions. But this is normal, everyone gets the hang of it soon.

### "I am using this app now, every day, a lot of customers use this to create your sites ! "

August 30, 2021

5.0

I am using WP every day for my customers, but I think is neccesary improve more security, and is essential and necessary to integrate additional security elements or plugins to avoid hacks or infiltrations.

Pros

It´s the most famous CMS in the world, easy to use, powerful. Easy to install add-ons, plugins and other elements to expand the scope of said CMS.

Cons

In my humble opinion, the greatest weakness of WP is its security, it is necessary to keep everything updated day by day, it is necessary to integrate additional elements or plugins to avoid hacks or infiltrations. It has serious security problems, since being the most famous CMS, it also becomes the most attacked and they always find vulnerabilities and bugs to hack websites.

### "Simply the best web building platform"

December 7, 2018

5.0

Where to start? Despite its slight flaws, WordPress is the best available web building option out there. Not only does it have some ready-made templates, but it is so easily customizable that it's difficult to imagine using any other platform. Certainly an argument can be made for hosting the site on GoDaddy or some other hosting platform, but in terms of site building, it's second to none.

Pros

WordPress is free, it has every possible web building, editing and managing feature I need, it has great templates and its the easiest platform to use. It also integrates with seemingly everything, and everyone knows how to use it. This is not only convenient, but the fact that it's universally used cuts down our learning curve with new clients and enables us to prioritize higher value tasks like marketing campaigns, etc. Furthermore, the analytics are top notch as well. Not just for a free program, but for any web building program.

Cons

There is no automatic updating option when edits and new aspects are added to websites, so new users need to make a note of that to do it manually. Furthermore, WordPress is not known for its security, so this is definitely something to keep an eye on, in terms of data managed on the WordPress server. Finally, like with anything free, there are limitations; for example, there are a limited number of themes and plug-ins with which to build the site. So if you're looking for ready-made options to quickly build a website, this may be trickier than you think.

### "It has grown a lot"

April 5, 2019

4.0

I have been using WordPress for over 5 years for various sites. I have used WordPress for setting up several business sites. I have also used WordPress for setting up my own portfolio site. I have also used WordPress connected with WooCommerce for a storefront application. I have used it and I have customized themes and I have made it behave the way I want it to. Sometimes, plugins break. That is the biggest issue with WordPress is the quality control of the plugin system. If things are broke, they should be gone. I still use the classic editor (I am guilty) but I prefer it. I am seriously trying to get my friend to switch his site from SquareSpace over to WordPress because I think I can make it behave better for them. That shows that I believe that WordPress can do the job for most people. It works. Sometimes you have to work for it to do what you want, but it is doable.

Pros

WordPress set itself up as a blogging platform, but has grown to so much more. Any business can utilize the platform now for their main website. Of course the blog is still there which helps for SEO purposes. It works! I have been using it personally for 5 years now and don't have too many complaints.

Cons

I guess the quality control of the plugins is something that is lacking. Many just do not work or no longer are updated. Another issue is that almost every theme does things differently. While you may go to one file to edit one theme, you may have to go to a different file to do the same edit on a different theme. That is sometimes aggravating when customizing your themes but that's just nitpicking.

### "Overall a good CMS with some drawbacks"

November 19, 2019

4.0

WordPress is the go-to option when you want to build a new website and you need to do it fast. I created so much websites using WordPress and it was a pleasure. At the same time it allowed me to provide to my clients a ready dashboard which made the work very faster.

Pros

WordPress is easy and fast. Also it features an impressive number of plug-ins. It is open source, which means you can view the code so you are completely sure what you're using and the software is getting improved day by day from contributors all over the world. With its semplicity, WordPress is the starting tool for every webmaster who is going to build up a new website from scratch, speeding up the building process so much. Also it has the biggest catalogue of plug-ins ever made for any content management system.

Cons

Plug-ins are TOO MUCH. Recently this part has been slightly improved but the drawbacks are still too much. WordPress was born with the intention of being a cms to write articles, posts and have a little blog. Slowly it became a multipurpose platform and this isn't bad, but there are too much plugins that tend to do always the same things over and over.

Reason for choosing WordPress

Because WordPress is a very stable product and it has a very easy approach for the medium user. I had the possibility to provide to my clients very easy to administer website using less time. Also WordPress has a myriad of plugins and themes more than the other platforms.

### "The magnificient and professional Content Management System"

May 4, 2020

4.0

My overall experience with WordPress was fantastic. Because with no prior knowledge of website development, I was able to create my first blog website with the help of WordPress. Although every day, I am learning new tools that I try to add to my website. Recently I added an Email marketing tool to WordPress blog, it was a very easy setup. So every day I learn something and try to expand my website through it. Like the SEO plugin, Yoast SEO helped some of my articles to rank on the first page of Google.

Pros

The best part about Wordpress is that it is free. It is easy to install, and the plugins helped me to customize my website according to the design I want. I didn't have prior knowledge about coding but that didn't hinder my path in creating my first own website with the help of WordPress. Truly speaking now I am in charge of my own website, whenever I want to edit, delete or add something I can do that without any developers' help.

Cons

Although creating a website with WordPress is easy, but I have to go through a tutorial about the setup, configuration in the hosting. I needed to learn the utility of each and every plugin which I required to create the website. One can create a basic website through Wordpress, but if you need customization to create a beautiful website, you need to learn to code mainly PHP, HTML, and CSS, or else you need to buy beautiful theme templates available. If you need the extreme utility of plugins like the page builders etc, you need to pay to upgrade the plugins too.

### "All about WordPress"

November 6, 2018

Very wonderful and comfortable

Pros

1\. Simple and easy interface: During the testing phase of WordPress, the interface was very confusing and very complex for very little web photographers to escape from using it. But with the passage of time and with some improvements from WordPress has become easy to use very obvious, because anyone even if they do not have programming and code is estimated to use Rose Bryce very easily without any problems in understanding.   2 - The aesthetic form of the site (Theme): Using Wordpress you can use many beautiful layouts and layouts in the way you see it suitable for your area. Simply appreciate that you design a picture or take it from the Internet and carry it on your site to add more beauty to the design of the site and estimated as a change of size and dimensions of the way you want.   3. Free and open source: For all professional and amateur developers, WordPress is considered free and open source means any user who uses the code to sell the site freely and can be transferred and modified by violin the way they want.   4 - Favorite sites specialists: Many SEO experts like it because it is easy to use and has the advantages of a very high-quality, easy to fill them for example, Meta, words and description and address for all pages and redirects .. And other, in addition to the fact that the Rose over Bvvr additions can be fixed on it Makes it easy to process the Sioux Lake.

Cons

1 - Safety: Many hackers know that WordPress is the most widely used and used for many sites, as it is a great interest of Harkz and hackers of the Internet, as every day Hackers daily operations on the sites of Rose Press to penetrate.   2 - Updates: The process of updating WordPress is often a lot difficult and complicated for many people. If your site has a large number of plugins on your site it is likely that you have to update at least one update every week. Why Niji talks about roses Bryce Vahna Bentklm about the daily follow - up of your site and updates and additions to the roses to keep your site.

### "WordPress is a framework that makes quick website development easy"

March 20, 2019

4.0

WordPress is a very useful CMS that's suitable for most blogs and some types of websites. It allows you to quickly set up an online platform, and if you don't require too much, maintaining the platform would be a breeze. Unlike many other similar CMS platforms, you can get away with pretty much everything on WordPress without paying a dime. One thing that endears many users to WordPress is its versatility; you can use it for pretty much everything, though you shouldn't do that. WordPress has been in use for a very long time and has most of the market share of websites and blogs, so there's basically no question you might want to ask or issues you might have that hasn't been encountered and solved by someone before; the user base and community behind it is very large. That said, WordPress has PHP as its primary language, and I'd say the language is not very beginner-friendly. WordPress updates tend to break things in the backend, and poking around for the point of error and looking for solutions is most times a nightmare. If you happen to break something that's vital to the functionality of your website, you could have a downtime spanning days. However, it can't be denied that WordPress is the most advanced CMS out there. It's definitely a useful tool for web development.

Pros

Easy to use and customize. Reasonable learning curve. Numerous free plugins and themes. Regular updates. Large user base and community. Excellent support. Free hosting.

Cons

Gutenberg Editor not ready for public use yet. You might need to work with backend many times when unnecessary, even for small projects. The abundance of themes and plugins may make it difficult to make a choice (not really a con).

### "The Best Open-Source Content Management System"

March 30, 2020

5.0

I am very fond of writing articles on different topics like health, communication, technology and more trending topics. My friend suggested me that I should create a blog where I can write my articles. So I started WordPress as a free user at the official website of WordPress. I created a blog and started article writing at my blog. I share always my posts with my friends and then they submit comments according to my post content. I am very happy because now I can create a professional website using the WordPress.

Pros

Different between company pages and articles very important thing. So WordPress allow us to publish article content in the posts section and the company description, overview and contact details we can add tthrough the pages section. Theme customize section allow us to edit the theme according to our requirements. If we want to change the font settings or other settings we can control through the customize section. We can control the comments throught the comments section. Users section allow us to create different users. With plugins we can do lots of things without the knowledge of different languages. So in short, WordPress is really outstanding open-source content mangement system for the web development.

Cons

Everything is ok except of some free stuff. Like free themes and free plugins. I have seen there are few free themes and the customize options are difficult for the beginner users. So If the developers add more easy options for the new users that will be really awesome.

### "Anybody can build a website with WordPress!"

April 10, 2019

5.0

Apart from my day job, I like to freelance with Digital Marketing agencies who outsource their website building projects. The first thing that comes to mind is WordPress! I'd use WordPress to build every single type of website other than an E-Commerce website (I have my reasons for this). Of course, you can use plug-ins like WooCommerce, but in my opinion, it's still not better than what other e-commerce dedicated platforms can offer. Bottom Line: WordPress is an amazing open-source platform that can help you do wonders! Compared to other platforms, WordPress is very flexible and reliable. I would definitely recommend this software.

Pros

1) Ease of Use: WordPress is quite user-friendly and intuitive. To be honest, I had absolutely no website building experience before using WordPress. It took me very little time to get used to things and I was able to quickly teach myself how to use the platform. 2) SEO Friendly: WordPress has a built-in permalink structure which is great for SEO! In other words, WordPress gives your pages a permanent link and it won't change no matter how many times you update the content on them. Think of it as your permanent physical address. 3) Strong Community: There are times when you want to add a custom piece of code to your website and you don't know where to start (or you are a rookie like me). There's a strong possibility that someone else has already done it! You can just ask people from the community or review a few case studies (I like to call them that). There's virtually nothing that is impossible to do with WordPress. 4) Highly Secure: Do to WordPress' popularity, I've heard that the platform is more prone to invite hackers and bots. However, having used WordPress for quite a while now, I am confident that they have prioritized security and safety measures. As new security risks are discovered, WordPress manages to easily stay on top of them. 5) Plug-ins: There is a plug-in for almost anything that you need on Wordpress. It has one of the best plug-in repositories I have ever seen! So, if you are looking to upgrade your website with a brand new feature, consider it done!

Cons

1) Plug-in Vs. Themes: I've noticed that not all plug-ins integrate well with my themes. This would have me sending out multiple emails to customer support (of the plug-ins, not WordPress) and asking them for help. More often than not, they're fairly responsive. However, sometimes they take days! 2) Speed: Too many plug-ins can slow down your website, but there are walkarounds to this issue.

### "If you want control of your site, Wordpress is the answer."

November 10, 2020

5.0

Wordpress is amazing as long as you take the time to make it amazing. If you're expecting to have a fully-functioning, professional looking website in minutes, wordpress is not the answer. However, if you have an idea or a vision in your head of how you want your website to look, chances are it's possible on Wordpress.

Pros

I love using wordpress to build and manage my website. One thing people need to know about wordpress is that it's free, but you should invest in a good theme (think of this as a website template) and plugins (various features to help 'spiff up' your site).

Cons

Since the majority of the world's websites are built on Wordpress, the platform is often targeted for malware and viruses. It's so very important to stay on top of system and plugin updates to keep your site protected, and regular monitoring of your site files to make sure your site is secure. There are many low cost services that will do the bulk of this work for you.

### "Wordpress best C.M.S for developing website faster and easily"

January 19, 2021

5.0

First of all it has enabled design and otherwise develop websites faster and easily. It has enabled me create blogs easily for websites rather using the related software's. It has enabled me download themes and use them on different websites. It saves on time since it doesn't require much coding.

Pros

First of all it is popular in todays world since it comes with different themes and plugins. This makes it easier when developing a website thus more people use it rather than the related ones. This WordPress is a free and open source, all you need to have is a WordPress folder and local development servers that is WAMP, MAMP or even XAMPP on your machine. Another thing I like about this software is that it is flexible. This means that it meets all user requirements thus it allows developers and even designers to change the look or layout of their website. Another thing I like about WordPress is its ease of use, all you have to do is create a page and edit with certain plugin. Another thing I like about WordPress is that you can manage your webpage from anywhere anytime from your computer. All you need to have is your WordPress folder together with your login credentials. Being the administrator of WordPress site you can have multiple users to your website and even assign them levels. Lastly it usually comes with a blog whereby you can desire to edit it or not.

Cons

First what I dislike about this software is security. Since the software is free, anyone can get it even access some critical information from your page especially since it relies on plugins and themes that have been developed by various people. WordPress somewhere is expensive. Though there are different themes and plugins that are free, you can completely attract your visitors since they don't have the magnificent features that they need thus you complete more advanced and professional and plugins and themes. Lastly, though we can customize WordPress website, it requires some coding thus you have the knowledge on the required field.

### "Life changing Software!"

5.0

Wow am really impressed by this software. its a dream for me to use it. This software wonderfully gives me freedom and peace of mind. It has simply solved my problem with creating a website incredibly and it's helping me achieve my goals and standards so easily. I love the fact that it brings along a great deal of possibilities. I'm amazed by PhastPress the most! I will definitely continue recommending this software to my colleagues.

Pros

I am able to create and edit beautiful sites with much more functionality. I love the multiple themes which make my work glow beautifully by simply choose from the variety offered and the plugins as well. If there is some character and functionality I see and like from some other website, I can easily have it on mine too. I love the ease of writing and posting articles to my site all thanks to this amazing software.

Cons

Finding the best plugin can be alot disturbing at times. Sometimes, the software has bugs and goes obsolete. The user interface can sometimes also be hard and not user friendly to new users and first timers and themes which use shortcodes can also be troubling to new users who are not yet well versed.

Reason for choosing WordPress

WordPress has always been my first and only choice no brainier. It was recommended to my by an expert I trust so I tried searching about it and I was so amazed by what I found out so it became my choice right away.

### "My experience with Wordpress"

August 10, 2021

5.0

Made my website designing and management a lot easier. I did not have to hire anyone to do the same. It takes some time to figure out things. But once you are through that stage, it's a piece of cake to handle things in this software.

Pros

Although the initial set-up took some time, with the help of knowledge base articles, I was able to figure my way in and out. Since I did not pick any host, I am using WordPress for the Content management system as well. This is an efficient software for these functions. Since it's just been blogging and a basic website, I do not use many other functionalities that the software may offer

Cons

Starting setup troubles cannot be resolved without seeking external help. This software would be super-efficient with some onboarding addons.

### "WordPress is the go-to software that I use for CMS and blogging tools."

March 11, 2018

4.0

WordPress is a great platform for simple content projects. Getting a site set up and writing a theme and plugin is quick and simple meaning that we can build web applications leveraging tools such as user administration, multisite and content editing with a relatively small amount of effort. As you start to want to build more flexible applications, it can be difficult to get WordPress to behave the way you like, but thankfully there are new endpoints and APIs that are being improved and developed with each iteration. The new Gutenberg interface in WordPress 5.0 is looking promising and I hope that it resolves the archaic single-page content editing that has essentially remained the same in WordPress since it's fork from Movable Type.

Pros

It's hugely popular and has a great community developing tools and helping others. The software is mostly intuitive and can be great for working with clients that aren't familiar with the ideas of CMS tools. Just keeping things to Posts and Pages makes the end user experience generally positive. Writing extensions and plugins for WordPress is painless thanks to the rich hooks that are dotted throughout the code.

Cons

The content editor is simplistic and hasn't seen great strides for a few years. When end-users want to insert a table or arrange items in a certain way, you then have to go looking for plugins and tools that will do the job. There's a lot of "working around" issues, and before you know it you have 10 plugins installed just to get what some would regard as core functionality nowadays.

### "Decent for first timers"

November 21, 2018

5.0

I enjoy it and I will continue to use it as I have taught myself how to maneuver through the site and do what I need to do on it. I don't feel like it is over the top, enjoy the fact I can do my work and it is free so it does what I need it to do.

Pros

WordPress is pretty easy to use for your blogging, I use it a few times a week for different things, I feel like there are some faults to it but I think it is a pretty good program for people to network along with being able to discuss topics of interest. Of the few blog programs I have used I find this to be one of the better ones, I have noticed new features on the program and find them to be pretty helpful with getting an outreach on certain topics that I tend to post about. You can easily toggle between HTML and Visual to give yourself a full preview of your post prior to posting an needing to go back to make necessary changes, they also offer a wide variety of fonts, colors, characters ect. Upon first using I was very unaware of HTML coding however their how to guides listed with in the program were easily accessible and understandable making my life a little easier as I have to compose blogs for a part of my business network. I have used another program in which I found this to be the better of the two due to the ease of maneuvering through the program and the fact that you are also given a overview of your visits as well as a graphed chart really does help improve the quality of your content. I like this program and I will continue to use it.

Cons

There are flaws to using it within certain systems, I have not checked to see if it has improved to date, but I could not get HTML coding to correspond with the post if I was using an older version of internet explorer. I did switch over to Chrome solely for the use of WordPress and have not had issues currently. The Android application for smartphones does not easily allow you to toggle back and forth between HTML and Visual modes. The blog posts only seem visible to others if it has hashtags inserted, VS using the titles or keyword within the titles for others to search, personally feel like a more professionally written blog should not have to have hashtags inserted with in the body in order for it to grab an outreach, but I guess in today's world hashtags are then new way to each people.

### "Easiest way to go to market, don't need to code, pretty obvious when you use it though"

March 6, 2021

4.0

Going to market quickly is great, evolving your product becomes impossible but that's because it wasn't made for that purpose. One of the few professional website builders with a free tier still unlike their competitors that have gone to a paid model for even the most basic functionality.

Pros

Oftentimes people think you have to code to build a beautiful website. Wordpress makes building a professional looking website as easy as drag and drop. The content management system was great, and our development team wanted to leverage it to combine it with a customized sales workflow I developed as the lead product manager. As a professional technologist I was worried about being able to customize WordPress to combine with specific coding work. We were able to add enough customized code on top to be able to manage our content well and add our invoicing, proposal, and customer engagement workflow.

Cons

It's really obvious when you use a WordPress site. And if you're not careful it's easy to pull a denial of service attack on, they don't even have to know how to code to do it. That happened to us, and we eventually learned what it takes to do it, and not much. Now I can eyeball a website and tell if it's a WordPress website and quickly confirm with a keyboard shortcut. Outside of building a simple site to display content or minimum viable product, you need to outgrow WordPress fast if you're building a technology company, but you would be surprised how long it takes some people.

[Wix](https://www.capterra.com/p/169007/Wix/)[Squarespace](https://www.capterra.com/p/143461/Squarespace/)

Reason for choosing WordPress

SquareSpace I've always preferred from a design standpoint, but SquareSpace is a bit harder to use. Wix is the worst, when everything became mobile Wix did not adapt so all their websites did not render properly on mobile. Perhaps they finally improved a little. WordPress has become the industry standard for website building even if it's not the absolute best. They do manage content better than pretty much everyone else though.

### "Optimize WordPress Javascript and Jquery for Increasing Website Speed"

September 1, 2021

4.0

I am using WordPress Since July 2020 its saves lots of money, but in the early days, I faced many issues in optimizing your website and Choosing the Theme and Plugin. My overall experience is good with WordPress, but the WordPress team has to optimize their Javascripts and JQuery more so that big Oriniztions also shift on WordPress.

Pros

First of all, WordPress is free for all, but we have to pay a hosting provider to use it. A nonprogrammer can easily use WordPress after getting some knowledge. The Other and most helpful thing is WordPress Tools Section import Plugin, which helped me take my Website Backup Without using any paid Plugin. I Personally like WordPress Free Plugins and Themes Section because it saves my time and lots of money. WordPress themes are simple to adjust since many of them include their own options panel that allows you to change colors, add logos, change backgrounds, build stunning sliders, and do other fun things with your website without ever writing a line of code so on. WordPress is very SEO-friendly. I personally used WordPress SEO plugins to optimize my website.

Cons

WordPress provides no Limitations. SEO Friendly. Easy To Manage. Safe and Secure. Different Media Types (including Latest Webp).

Reason for choosing WordPress

I chose WordPress because everything is available on the internet about it, and For starting a Blog just in some hours with more advanced features, I choose WordPress and still am running my Three Websites on WordPress.

### "Low cost, highly customizable, web solution for organizations of all sizes."

May 7, 2019

5.0

Overall, for my needs and my ability to solve problems using the internet as my resource, my experience with Wordpress has been outstanding and I would highly recommend this as a website building solution to organizations of any size. The customization is excellent and the value for the price is unmatched.

Pros

Wordpress is an out-of-the-box blogging and website building platform which can be setup fully functional within minutes. More advanced users will enjoy the customization and flexibility the themes and plugins offer. For very little money you can create your own highly valuable website.

Cons

Your mileage may vary in regard to technical support for web server issues, themes, plugins, and other modular aspects of Wordpress. If you are unfamiliar with building websites, server setup and maintenance, and Wordpress maintenance, you may want to select a managed service instead of doing it yourself.

### "Wordpress is for everyone online "

July 28, 2021

5.0

Wordpress is excellent overall once you get used to using it.

Pros

WP is very flexible and easy to use because of all the mostly free plugins that make the platform work.

Cons

Your WP website can be hacked and you will loose everything.. Back up, back up, always.. Daily; Some plugins conflict with other and can bring the site down. Have to have hosting.. There is a learning curve.
