### "WordPress has taken me from a nobody to an experienced web designer without any training!"

May 31, 2018

5.0

Pros

WordPress is so intuitive and easy to setup and administrate that it doesn't require any sort of manual or training to get going. The sheer (and overwhelming) amount of plugins available to sort out any problems you may have, or to add functionality are so astounding and really well integrated. Having used WordPress along with plugins such as W3 Total Cache, WooCommerce and Yoast SEO, I can truly say that WordPress is built to allow any site to be as unique as possible, whilst at the same time being as easy as possible to administer for anyone.

Cons

The greatest Con is also one of the greatest Pros: The fact that there are so many plugins available. Installing too many plugins (and adding all of their great features) ends up slowing down the functioning of your site. Some of the plugins that work the best are also the most difficult to set up and require a bit of Google work to get them right.

### "Easy to use, customizable CMS"

August 2, 2018

5.0

Easy custom website that is flexible and usable.

Pros

I've been using Wordpress for years (both the .com and .org versions). Right now, our organization's website is on Wordpress, as is our Intranet. Wordpress makes it easy to create a really professional looking website for the most inept among us. For those with more skills, it's amazing what Wordpress can do. I like that I don't need to spend half my life training people how to use it. It's intuitive and logical. There's also an extensive add-on library that allows you to take advantage of the really cool things the community has done with it. Because of the love and support so many people have shown for Wordpress, it's a great solution for blogging and beyond.

Cons

Sometimes the admin side can get a little confusing. With some custom configuration of custom themes, I often forget what is what. If it had a different organizational theme, it would be clearer.

### "It is the most used platform due to its easy to use and install"

September 25, 2018

4.0

In my case through the woocommerce pluggin I was able to set up my sales store and obtain savings of resources and time.

Pros

Create pages in two days to three days sometimes, allows me to install a professional template created by specialists in programming and design, if I want I can change content, menu, categories and create users with lower rank than the administrator. What I like the most is that I can focus my attention on advertising, on the marketing of my page. If I did not have a CMS, I should hire a designer or programmer to change the content and update the long-term information, which is more expensive. Almost all wordpress templates are adaptable to mobile devices (tablets, cell phones). In addition, it has a great technical support.

Cons

Slow loading, due to the installation of many plugins. If your project is too big or too complex, it may not fit in what Word press offers. Premium templates are very expensive.

### "Easy Tool to Create Quick Website"

March 22, 2020

4.0

My overall experience with WordPress has been satisfactory with some suggested areas of improvement. I have been successfully able to leverage WordPress built websites to create quick awareness and engagement with my new apparel items. I have struggled with making periodic updates to blog design and personalization due to complex admin interface, limited support and too many plug-ins to choose from. So, I recommend adding more consulting support around administration and plug-ins to increase adoption.

Pros

I use WordPress content management software to create micro blogging sites for my apparel business. So, I use the templates they provide to start a quick blog on some new categories and products I am planning to add to my e-commerce website. My goal is to generate awareness and engagement about my new items so my new prospects and existing customers can get more information before they decide to buy those new items. I appreciate the personalization and tracking features WordPress provides which enables me to customize the content and experience of my blogs based on customer needs and feedback. These customer friendly updates help improve conversion rates and drive higher ROI for my apparel business.

Cons

When making changes to template design or content, I struggle with using WordPress administration screen because its not very intuitive. I also had a tough time finding the best plug-ins for advanced analytics due to too many choices. It will be great if WordPress can provide some professional consultancy on how to make edits to template design or find the ideal plug-in. So their CMS users don't waste time on researching online. With this added support, WordPress CMS adoption will increase dramatically and make it more popular.

### "The go-to CMS for personal and SME uses"

March 26, 2019

4.0

I have used WordPress for years and it is always a pleasure to work with both as a web designer, webmaster, and digital marketer. The constant 3rd party support, updates, and new features put it head and shoulders above the other out-the-box options out there.

Pros

Very easy to use for those with an intermediate skill level of web design. The vast amount of plugins and themes, paid and free, make it easy to create a website that looks anything but free. If you are particularly interested in marketing aspects such as email and SEO then I would recommend WordPress if you going for an out-the-box option. The 3rd party integrations are seamless and usually come with very good instructions to get the best out of your website.

Cons

WordPress blog comments can be very susceptible to spam in their default state, if enabled. Additionally, it can display usernames in URLs if you aren't careful which could be a security breach depending on how you set your website up.

### "Review for WordPress"

June 3, 2019

Overall,I would say it is a great platform especially for Digital Marketers who are SEO consultants.

Pros

WordPress is a great option when Search Engine Optimization(S.E.O.)is in the mind of the designer/builder. My clients desire is to rank well on google,WordPress is my go to platform when I want to build my Clients website. WordPress is easy to customize and has lots of templates to choose from when building a website. It is easy to use for a beginner who just started his/her Website building. It has lots of Plugins, extensions and Features which makes it easy for me to build any kind of website I want. It is relatively free and easy to navigate with a great interface.

Cons

The security issue is one of my concerns. WordPress sites are prone to hacks. Also, another thing I don't really like is the frequent updates which can be tiring after a while

### "WordPress is one of the best CMS to build websites with."

July 16, 2018

5.0

Awesome benefits! I can sell websites using this platform, can use as a blogger, can help other people by having a great experience coding and using this, showing how is great to use for multiple purposes.

Pros

As a Front-End developer: WordPress has a huuuuge community that are daily upgrading plugins and solving CMS problems, like bugs, performance and security issues. As a entrepreneur: 90% of our projects, inside my company, are based on WordPress. Clients love the panel and we love to code using all the stuff this wonderfull CMS has. As a user: already had experiences posting and mantaining personal websites, and I can say its very easy to use, very fast.

Cons

I guess the major problem is the security issues. Some clients asks about this problem, because its well known that this could be a problem for the website owners. Indeed, we've already had hacker invasions in some client's websites (all resolved, but happened, luckily with backups).

### "Great value but more complicated than you think"

March 27, 2019

3.0

Pros

Wordpress allows me to make a beautiful website with blog capabilities for free. I previously used Dot Net Nuke and it was the worst platform I've ever used, so Wordpress was a blessed relief. I started with a WordPress-hosted site and moved onto an install on 1and1, since I wanted more custom features. Although it still seems to be the best for blogs, I love that premium templates are available for a small price to make my site look more like a premium website. There are a ton of great forums out there to help you customize it further if you want to play with the CSS. I only know enough to be dangerous, so I rely on these forums to make updates.

Cons

Because Wordpress is so popular, hackers target the heck out of of this platform. I recently lost a client's entire site because it was so hacked. The plugins are not well-tested by Wordpress, so often, the hacker-and-virus blocking plugins ARE the viruses and hackers we are trying to avoid. I am getting ready to go back to the Wordpress-hosted platform because I'm tired of trying to get 1and1 to intergrate with it. I know a lot about design, but in order to stay secure, you do need to know how to work with your host to update your PHP to be compliant with Wordpress's build to stay on top of the numerous security issues.

### "WordPress is a great website builder"

March 17, 2021

5.0

I use WordPress every day as an editor/contributor, not a webmaster. It serves my needs very well, and I've actually learned to write some code. Our county's websites are attractive and functional for free, except for the in-house labor. It's a great resource!

Pros

WordPress is free to use. All of our websites are built upon WordPress and look really good. Being able to control what users are able to see and do on the back-end is essential in terms of content management.

Cons

There is somewhat of a learning curve to using WordPress as it isn't the most user-friendly web software, but it does have a visual or a text option when posting a blog or press release.

### "Wordpress ease of use, highly functional, great software!"

December 6, 2019

5.0

As an influencer and artisan I needed something with the best ease of use to deliver my content easily and quickly and this is the best in my opinion. Everytime I use this product I find something new I can do with it! 5 stars

Pros

Wordpress has been a go to source for me, mainly for my blog but there is so much you can do ! The templates are amazing and just like all of wordpress very user friendly you dont have to know how to code to use wordpress. Visually pleasing and so many plug ins to take your blog or online shop, real estate listing site or forum or heck even a scheduling plug in, so many additional things you can add or use to make using wordpress an amazing experience! Ilove the fact that also if you have your own website you can manage and moderate all your content or if you have more than one blog mange those from a dashboard all on one spot! The analytics are all right there also and being able to breakdown site traffic etc is a must. This is a must have and if you research even more you'll see all the amazing ways you to can use this little gem!

Cons

I'm gonna have to stretch on this one as I dont really have alot of complaints so if I had to list any would be making sure to look for updates and that us a stretch lol I love wordpress!

I have been using this app for a long time and love its features and tools offered.

Pros

Great application for creating websites, very intuitive and in an uncomplicated way you can use the tools and puglins. The best part is to do all the editing without the need to develop codes.

Cons

The presence of malware is a negative point of the application, in addition to having a lot of vulnerability in its updates. And the worst part for me is that there is practically no support in Portuguese to assist users.

### "WordPress is the best CMS for Social proof"

October 17, 2021

5.0

Whether you are a start-up or have a freelancing business, one can build a website from scratch and then pass the management of that site to the WordPress client. In creating the site, when uploading content, it' is quite simple and easy to create clean and modern sites. You most effectively want to pay for the offerings you upload on your web web page or for plugins that others have developed. With such a lot of tutorials and courses on the web, it is also smooth sufficient to discover assistance in case you get caught with anything.

Pros

1\. Built-in SEO makes it smooth to maximize the possibilities your content material suggests up in people's searches. 2. Custom designed templates and plugins to simplify the design process 3. Free and low-cost themes available 4. There are hundreds of tutorial possibilities each online and in man or woman to analyze and hook up with different users.

Cons

1\. While WordPress payments are clean and simple to use. However, a few customers will want to get professional assistance for greater complicated tasks. 2. Old plugins (or some combinations) tend to damage the site and make troubleshooting much more complicated. 3. When updates are done automatically and backend access are no longer available can make it extremely difficult to deal with issues

### "Most Powerful CMS I have ever used"

November 13, 2020

5.0

I have been using WordPress since last 3 years and I am quite satisfied with it. If you have good knowledge on php, customization can be really easy here. However, while using third-party plugins, we should be careful as they often bring vulnerability.

Pros

The main thing I like about WordPress is that it is completely open-source. It's a strong CMS which can build you a professional website in no time without having to write much code. Obviously it is very user-friendly, highly customizable and provides a lot of addons and plugins to use.

Cons

Sometimes updating the versions can be troublesome. As it is open-source, it is not so secure. The themes can highly slowing your site speed as they contain a lot of unnecessary codes.

### "The best option for creating a low maintenance website that can be managed by almost anyone"

May 15, 2019

Pros

Setting up users/access rights is simple Adding pages and other content is very easy and editing content on pages and posts is also very easy We use it to host our Sermons for church online via an Add in/extension and adding those is also remarkably easy Updates are managed by our hosting service and our site has never had an issue with an update version

Cons

WordPress doesn't have the best customer support directly, however the online forums and other online support resources are very helpful. Also, the creator of the addins typically are very responsive and helpful if you encounter issues with third party add ins.

### "WordPress Review"

December 21, 2018

4.0

Pros

With a 10 min tutorial I watched on YouTube, I immediately understood how to use WordPress, the interface is easy for new users to understand, as all the features are placed in the left corner of the screen. With tons of themes available, you can design WordPress site into a high demanding site. There are tons of plugins you can install to enhance your blogging career such as SEO tools, social plugins etc. WordPress is an open source community where developers around the world are putting in their contributions in order to have a sustainable environment.

Cons

As there are tons of plugins to install, one have to be very careful with each plugins installed, because this can render your site vulnerable to attacks. WordPress needs to enhance their iOS app for better functionalities. The cost of maintaining site from attacks, spam is relatively high unless you are making money from the site.

### "A Disarmingly Strong Solution"

February 5, 2019

4.0

We love it. It's a very versatile platform and we can often find or build a theme that clients love.

Pros

Wordpress is one of those web development tools that web designers and developers either love or hate, but it is likely the best website platform on the market. There isn't very much you can't make this platform do, but their builder modules are so intuitive, I can walk a client who has no web experience at all through the back end of their site and get them to basic competency with their site in minutes. The art of software is that things work like they're supposed to and are where you expect them - Wordpress does both.

Cons

Whenever there is a glitch or issue with the platform, I've found that the answer is almost always addressed in a forum somewhere. The spectrum of people who use wordpress are so varied - from developers to content creators - that if you're ever stuck, a quick Google search shows the answer.

### "Good Website platform for Corporate Use"

November 6, 2020

5.0

Overall WordPress is a good web platform, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a clean-looking web platform that can be used in a corporate environment. Or as a personal site, if you like having the ease of drag and drop, and also wanting some of the coding capabilities.

Pros

What I like about WordPress is that once you get used to the back-end layout, it is a fairly easy platform to navigate and work. Also, the front-end of the platform has a clean look.

Cons

What I like the least is that WordPress mixes HTML, JAVA, PHP, and drag and drop capability. The Drag and Drop are what mist users are able to access, and if you have web design experience you can access the HTML, Java, and PHP coding, but it's not easily accessible.

### "Best engine for small websites"

April 9, 2019

5.0

We're running 2 websites on WP and on one of them (the one with the newer template), we managed to get a Google page speed score average of 70 on mobile, which is nice, but still not perfect. WP is a top pick for any small business or anyone who's just getting into creating websites.

Pros

It's universal. Wordpress sites are used by businesses of all sizes across all industries. It's great that you can open the admin console of any WP site for the first time, and you won't be completely lost even after a few minutes. Must-learn for digital communication professionals.

Cons

There are some silly things like page speed optimization that will be harder for WP sites, especially for themes with visual front-end editing function. Another thing is that our Google Analytics code keeps getting deleted from the header after every update, which is quite annoying to have to add it manually every time. Then again, that issue may be related to the theme and not WP itself.

### "Simply Flexible!"

January 17, 2019

5.0

Pros

My first writing Job introduced me to wordpress. As a beginner,i was able to easily access online classes and tutorials which guided me to becoming a pro i am today. It is super flexible .It has a large user community and codebase that helps consumers to adapt with changing progress and also in tackling some of problems. It's super easy to use and one can easily create their own websites and blogs according to their personal preference.

Cons

The self hosted version of wordpress can be pretty little tricky as you have to deal with all the ups and downs of managing and operating ones' own wordpress website such as restriction on the type of plugins one can use and lack of control over hosting specification. But for one willing to lift off facing this burden, must part with a monthly fee which will help escape the hardwork and enjoy the fully hosted version .This monthly cost can be discouraging.

### "Wordpress is the stuff"

November 29, 2020

5.0

My overall experience is pretty good, I am very pleased with the software and it's grown with me. I prefer it the way it was before but the people thought of everything so there is also a plugin for that. Very satisfied and looking forward to new features.

Pros

Wordpress is very easy to use, there are countless videos online and blogs about using it. It has endless features and is compatible with loads of plugins. It's open source and if you know CSS you can easily customize it to your needs. An overall magnificent product.

Cons

There are close to none bad qualities for this software. The first few days (like with any software) you will be exploring the functions, it takes some time to get used to and find your way around it.

### "My best choice for a personal/small company website"

March 20, 2018

4.0

Pros

This open source CMS is pretty much a standard. Installation is very easy if you work in web development, and if you don't, it's so widespread that you'll find tutorials if you want to learn, otherwise many providers have automated installation tools (e.g. Softaculous) that make everything a matter of few clicks. Updates of Wordpress and installed plugins also need only a click. The software in itself is very clean, from the code up to the interface. There are so many templates that you'll probably want to stick with the most famous ones instead of spending days checking everyone. However you can easily preview them, even with your own content. For common needs SEO is taken care of without any configuration from the webmaster. For the more advanced needs there is an incredible amount of plugins, some free, some paid, that extend the functionalities up to e-commerce, but again, the free ones might satisfy the needs of many. Going with Wordpress.com you get some basic analytics tools that can be fun for personal use.

Cons

The large community means that there are lots of plugins and templates, but probably only 10% of them are worth considering. If with templates you may judge by yourself, for some plugins you should aim at quality, or the performance will degrade soon. Also, incompatibility can create problems and some plugins might change the database irreversibly. Security might need some more attention in the configuration (especially the login part). Wordpress.com hosting is pretty expensive, there are cheaper solutions.

### "The ease of creating on the web"

January 29, 2019

4.0

Pros

WordPress is a platform that has been known for a long time for making web designs with greater ease and beauty. It was created as the simplest tool for blogging, however, WordPress has had an evolution over time. From being a simple field to design web pages or blogs, now it has become a specialized application for commercial pages, and each day its development is noted with the implementation of more elements that serve one to continue expanding a range of possibilities at the moment of creating and designing. One of the main characteristics is its simplicity, which is quite pleasant for the user when focusing on the creation of a portal on the Internet. Nowadays, any designer who wants to develop their web portal, should have WordPress as one of their options, since it provides everything you need to start successfully making your way into communication 2.0. To make matters worse, the program has adapted to the times. An example of this is their constant updates, in which they implement new tools to add during the gestation of the portal. For example, as they do with widgets, plugins, templates and themes that are constantly added with a greater number of variables to give the user the possibility of having a range of options that are very important to give free rein to their creation. WordPress is undoubtedly the ideal way to start creating, designing, a web portal. Do not think about it and start working with this application that is extremely simple in its operation.

Cons

WordPress has a lot of competition. To its favor it has the fame that it has built, but it is very probable that a professional wants to enjoy this service, having in market other options much better. Of course, his fame has not been earned by doing things wrong, on the contrary, it is an ideal way to start designing web content, but currently there are better ones that have a lot more content.

### "Wordpress, the best CMS for both tech and non tech savyy users"

October 10, 2018

5.0

I have so far designed over 50 websites for my clients and still counting. My portfolio and blog website was built with WordPress for over 3 years now with no issues.

Pros

As a web developer, I always recommend WordPress to my clients for their projects. WordPress has 1000's of plugins and themes to help achieve any kind of project. I use it to create all kinds of websites such as eCommerce, personal, corporate, events, schools etc As a non tech savvy, you can easily make changes with their neatly looking and easy to navigate dashboard such as blog post, creating of pages, changing images for gallery etc.

Cons

Every CMS platform has its own security issues which WordPress is no exception. Due to the large number of users of WordPress, hackers turn to exploits the third party themes and plugins installed on your WordPress site for vulnerabilities. In that case I always get notification of people trying to login to my website
