### "Why I love wordpress"

December 28, 2018

5.0

My overall experience with WordPress has been fantastic. It's allowed me to do so much, with such little effort on my part.

Pros

I love WordPress because you can't do anything with it. As a freelancer it has helped my grow my business, my portfolio, and a healthy following. I can blog, create sites, and so much more. It's interface and useability is streamlined and user friendly. I always recommended WordPress to anyone looking to get into online businesses, social media, blogging, creating online stores, etc. They even have a free version.

Cons

None. Zero. I love it. They even have an app.

### "WordPress - Makes anyone a website designer"

December 2, 2019

4.0

Overall, excellent. Having control of my website not only allows me to do what is needed quickly and efficiently. It allows me to hand over control to other people. My HR Department, can post and edit jobs to our website without needing my assistance. This frees up my time to accomplish more tasks on my own, while allowing the HR Department the freedom of control to not have to wait for my schedule to free up for me to help them. It's a win-win!

Pros

Coming up from an HTML background, website design and specifically changes to the website was a skill that required true knowledge of how write in a different language. WordPress has changed the game. Do you know how to use Word? How to write an email? Congratulations! You are qualified to create and edit a website. WordPress is super simple to use, but the possibilities are endless. You can create beautiful designs that are pretty complex with only a rudimentary understanding. If you are tired of paying a web-design company a large some of money every time they process a change to your website, get it convertted to WordPress, and you can take control without the need of an expensive company - and THAT is the biggest pro of WordPress.

Cons

While easy to use and simple to figure out, there are some intuitive commands that are lacking. Simple features when editting, such as underlining, adding bullets, font typeface, paragraph control are more complicated then they need to be. Microsoft, using Word established where these commands should be found, WordPress obviously in an attempt to make themselves different, chose to put these commands in a different location, which makes the process less intuitive. This is really splitting hairs, as everything else is excellent.

### "Could be your best choice "

February 14, 2021

5.0

It’s like a huge area for you to dive in and find the treasure inside. It’s a blog system but more than a blog system

Pros

I use Wordpress since I was a student, it’s really easy to used and you can find anything you need by the third party plugs.

Cons

I’d like to have more visual plug to manage the content instead of coding. It would be much easier for the beginners.

### "Flexibility galore"

December 4, 2018

4.0

I've been using wordpress for years and I love it as I said. I have tried many website builders in the past and still like to test new ones but none has been able to wow me to the point of swapping my wordpress site over. ones you

Pros

I love wordpress because of its flexibility, you can do so much more than with any other website builder. Your specific creativity can be unleached like nowhere else. The finished product can be exactly as you imagined it to a T.

Cons

there is a learning curve, defininetely. It's getting easier to use with every update, but this is not your most userfriendly website builder for sure.

### "Excellent CMS"

February 25, 2021

4.0

WordPress is THE content management system to rule them all. We have used other CMS too which are more flexible but none of them has the ease of use that WP does. Almost all of our over 100 domains are hosted on WordPress because new team members can easily learn to use it.

Pros

WordPress is easy to use and learn. We have had great success in getting completely new employees to become efficient managers for our domains.

Cons

The reliance on Jetpack is a real pain point for us. Even after so many years, Jetpack keeps having new issues each time it is updated. WordPress should really come up with a more secure solution for this.

### "The best content management and website solution period"

November 3, 2018

5.0

Hosting our website which is essential in today's business environment.

Pros

The best content management system available. I love the number of plugins that can solve so many issues and add amazing designs for your website. With WordPress being the leader, tons of video and websites to support and help you build an amazing website that always evolves for the better.

Cons

If you're new to coding, sometimes it can be a bit difficult. Not as fast and easy to build a site like on some competitors. But long-term, WordPress is the better solution to learn, even if it takes a lot of time.

I've been using Wordpress for more than 2 years and never regreted using it. It's the best to rank your site and have a good speed.

Pros

Lots of functionality and variety of plugins and themes which others don't have. Also faster than the other builders.

Cons

Sometimes there are bugs and errors which can effect your website.

### "Free but with lots of functionality!"

November 3, 2018

5.0

WordPress is a great tool for making any kind of websites. I really love using it. It's amazing!!

Pros

I love using WordPress. I used other CMS but I keep coming back for it. It has all the tools or features that I need. Here are the things that I like about WordPress. 1. I have the option the choose between free or premium. Free gives me a Wordpress.com subdomain while the paid option allows me to have my own custom domain name. 2. Beginner friendly. WordPress is very easy to use even for beginners. 3. Not just for blogs. WordPress is a very flexible software. I can use it on all types of websites like, personal, business or e-commerce. 4. Tons of free and premium themes. Endless ways to make a website according to my or my client's liking. 5. Tons of plugins. A lot of free and useful plugins which can help us save some money. 6. Allows me to custom edit a theme or a website by using HTML and CSS. 7. Very SEO friendly. I love ranking WordPress websites. 8. Friendly community. There are a lot of people that are willing to help you if you're having issues with it.

Cons

1\. Some themes and plugins can make my site slower. 2. Slower websites can hurt my visitors and my clients, so speeding up a WordPress site is a must! 3. Need to update WordPress, themes and plugins regularly to avoid being hacked.

### "Create websites in hours instead of days."

November 26, 2018

5.0

I have been using Wordpress for several years now. Whenever I need something done fast and the clients I make the website for aren't demanding, Wordpress is the go-to platform. They keep updating to new versions with new features and are growing bigger each year. I will continue to use Wordpress for smaller websites/webshops.

Pros

The thing I like the most about Wordperss is the fact that you can setup a complete functionning website in less then a day. Although I think some web development knowledge is necessary, even without knowing anything about coding you will be able to setup the website in no-time.

Cons

You are limited to the plugins and themes you bought/downloaded. So sometimes when you want something specific on your website you could be getting stuck or you'll have to pay for it.

### "Word Press is easy to use"

October 3, 2022

We are able to customize our website so it is tailored to exactly what we need. We had a little help getting started, but once we were set up, two tech inexperienced employees are able to continue to refine and edit it with the basic skills we have.

Pros

The Divi Builder! Super easy to copy and customize.

Cons

Nothing that I can think of currently, all the features are intuitive.

### "Amateur hour at the website saloon. It works but you have to work for it."

February 23, 2021

2.0

We have WordPress running on a fair amount of projects we have inherited. It would not be our first choice as a development company, we spend more time fixing issues and updates than we do actually creating new function for the clients websites.

Pros

If you want a blog it works. It is a good blogging platform that has everything you need out of the box. it fairly easy to use although the menu layout of the dashboard is confusing and you keep losing stuff.

Cons

WordPress has become so popular due to all its plugins. This is a major issue, out of the box you will need to keep on top of the endless security updates. Once you start adding plugins this get worse, WordPress gives an update then the plugins will updating. From a user point of view the dashboard is like a game a hide and seek. Setting are all over the place in different pages. Each plugin tends to have it own setting and this just adds to the menu clutter.

Pros

I use wordpress for more than a decade and i love it. I know nearly all systems and all website builder.... wordpress is still number one in my mind. Wordpress offers me as an Entrepreneur to build cool projects without to be an web developer...i can start with no money in Website business...a very great oppurtunity that many people don t understand

Cons

Wordpress is Sometimes to open to bad code developer. Security must be stronger, much more secure in many things without to use third party plugins like akismet for example

### "I work with WordPress and I have been using this for almost 10 years now. It is my go-to CMS."

July 21, 2018

4.0

Pros

It is more powerful then is seems. You can do actually almost anything web-related with it. The high number of tutorials and plugins although not all very good will help you speed up the development process.

Cons

It is not highly regarded as a professional solution - that is I guess because the code quality is not very good; the product itself is coded almost good but the plugins and the themes are so-so; the low level entry of the developers means that there will be a lot of people working as WordPress developers, without proper knowledge of the product.

### "Best CMS period"

November 25, 2019

4.0

it has been great, I've used this for more than 3 years, you can make a living out of this software.

Pros

The main "feature" of this cool software is that is so easy to use, you can learn how to use it in a few days, but if you want to be really good at this and not only use it for blogging, then you'll have to spend more time learning themes and plugins from the huge developer's community. The second best thing is it's freedom.

Cons

It's not the best CMS in the performance department, you can acomplish great thing with it, but you need power to manage a site with a few users and data.

### "The best intro to websites"

November 5, 2018

5.0

Even with the cons, Wordpress is the only way to go for many reasons. I've been floored at how it continues to grow with the responsive trend the WYSIWYG design interface, and the cottage industry of development companies that surround it.

Pros

Wordpress is the go-to platform to most websites for a reason. It's easy to use and free.

Cons

With Wordpress being the most popular way to build websites, it's also the target of most hackers. You need to invest a bit of time and money to make Wordpress secure. While it's free to use, you have to spend money on add-ons (called plug ins) to optimize it in a professional way.

### "Best open source CMS"

February 23, 2020

4.0

This is the best open source CMS software out in the market so far. I have been using self hosted wordpress for over 5 years now. It has wide range of plugins available which is helpful for someone with little knowledge in development to get started with wordpress.

Pros

It has wide range of plugins available which is helpful for someone with little knowledge in development to get started with wordpress.

Cons

I mostly able to use wordpress with ease so I would like them to keep up the good work and keep developing make user experience smoother and easier.

### "Our bread and butter"

January 10, 2021

4.0

Our experience has been very positive and I use only WordPress to build sites with.

Pros

We use WordPress for all our client websites and wouldn't think of using anything else. It is the easiest and most robust web designer on the market.

Cons

Plug-ins can be challenging to trust as they are mostly third party developed options. I'd prefer more reliability.

### "If you know how to develop websites and need something that's pretty cheap, this is your product"

February 27, 2020

3.0

This is solving our landing pages as well as micro-sites.

Pros

I like the versatility of WordPress. I've been building sites using it for YEARS and the amount of customization you can make as well as the plugins available are fantastic for the price point. Gets beautiful unique sites done at a relatively fast pace.

Cons

Security is a big issue with WordPress and many things break with updates. This CMS is reliant on other plugins from developers and because of that makes support and maintenance hard. Things break all the time but if you can fix it then this is great for you.

### "Serve its purpose, very satisfied."

September 13, 2021

4.0

My general experience is quite good, I'm very satisfied with my blogs, and I think that wordpress is deservedly the most popular CMS in the world.

Pros

It's "free" (in quotes because you have to pay for the hosting, but wordpress itself, it's free), it gives the user a wide freedom of use and although it's somewhat complex, you don't need to be an expert to start using it. Finally, it has many templates (some paid, some free) and many, many plugins, which will make the user experience really pleasant and will facilitate many things.

Cons

As I mentioned above, although wordpress is free, we must pay for the hosting, which will be slow (if we choose an affordable one, since a more equipped host will be some expensive). Also, it's something complex to understand, it will take us a few months to learn to handle it well, and this will mean spending some more time at the beginning.

### "If you want to publish content inside your company is the easiest and customizable way."

August 9, 2018

5.0

I started to use Wordpress as a final user and then I was able to make some changes and learn how to deploy my own wordpress site. It took a little time and there was a lot of resources to make it easy.

Pros

It's very easy to use to share content inside your organization. It has a lot of templates, tools and documentation to integrate everything you need with easy plugins to find. if you think about a tool it's almost possible it has a wordpress integration.

Cons

Security is an issue for wordpress projects. It's been used for a wide community so you can find security concerns if you don't update your instance.
