Pros

I like how easy it is to set up the document to be signed, dated, initialed, etc. by our clients and partners. I also like the tracking of the document and being able to see where the document went and who viewed it when. Finally, I like the ease for our clients and partners, who often struggle to know how to digitally sign a document. I also like the feature of being able to remind people to sign.

Cons

There isn't anything I don't like, but we use the free version so our usage is limited.

This tool is key to our sales operations at this point. We appreciate the updates and can tell that the people at Pandadoc are actively working to make improvements to the platform.

Pros

Pandadoc allows us to easily customize our quotes and proposals. I appreciate the tracking feature to know when clients open or view the info we present. Electronic signature piece simlifies our processes. In addiiton, I like to accept/reject process which allows my reps to send me deals with discounting or changes in terms to quickly review.

Cons

I don't like the fact that emails sent from this tool often get stuck in the client's spam filter. We typically send a manual copy in addition to the electronic version because of this. It might be that our clients, healthcare IT, are a little more zealous on blocking incoming emails than other industries. Our CRM integration is not the best (Hubspot) it may be that we haven't set it up as good as we could have. However, the basic integration we have does provide some value.

We are a managed IT service provider that uses PandaDoc to deliver proposals to prospects.

Pros

Great feature set. Makes it very easy to build out and deliver proposals and lets you attach other documents. It fits pretty much all our needs except for one critical fundamental flaw.

Cons

I've used this for about two years now, and unfortunately, I have to find another solution. Our proposals continually end up in our prospects' spam folder. It makes us look unprofessional and I've even lost a prospect completely because I had to try and walk them through finding the proposal email in spam. When I contacted PandaDoc support, they pointed the finger back at me and said I should upgrade if I want the feature to send from my own email domain (which still might not fix the issue of being marked as spam). I should mention that I am already on a paid version. Getting the proposal in front of the client is far too important of a feature to skimp on. Other cloud apps that send on our behalf do not have this issue, so I know it can be remedied. PandaDoc would rather you pay more to avoid them having to fix a fundamental flaw in their product.

Easy of use for MSA's and proposals. Templates are great to use to ensure the team is using the same (most up-to-date) information when putting complex documents together.

Pros

I love that you can create templates for a team. I also love that you can insert multiple types of content within the document. Great concept but some features are poorly executed. But overall I wish the solution was a bit more flexible.

Cons

Can't resize images within the solution. You must use the blocked approach to building documents, meaning you can't mix media. If you want to put an image into a paragraph of text, you have to enter two different text boxes and insert the image in the middle of the two. When making a lot of edits, the document can become very hard to work in. I've lost information I've added in the past when updating a lot at once. Shouldn't be this way!!! Wish the system would show you page breaks once exported to PDF. It would be nice to know before you export and review to be able to insert page breaks into the document based on how the data looks. Highlighting and editing fonts are not good. When highlighting and un-highlighting the highlights will move to other text when trying to turn it off. Same will happen with fonts when changing size or style.

It's great software, it saves a lot of time as tasks are automated.

Pros

It's easy to use, supports all kinds of fields of different varieties, and supports also good validation for fields. I like the way that it can be integrated with other software. We use Zapier for these integrations which supports a lot of triggers for different use cases. It really simplifies bureaucracy.

Cons

I haven't found a way how to edit a document once it is published, It forced me to create a new document from the template which is quite time-consuming, especially when there is a learning curve where things need to be figured out.

IF YOUR A SMALL BUSINESS DO NOT USE PANDA DOCS! Other than the occasional helpful support staff i am yet to receive a decent customer experience with any of the panda doc teams, once they identify you as a small business they no longer care about you or how you are going with the software. When wanting to add users officially i was given minimal instruction on how to correctly sign up which led to the company being overcharged for the user we did not want. when i bought this to the attention of multiple team members no one would confirm this or follow up to refund the amount. I would not recommend this program or software to anyone based on customer experience alone.

Pros

Integration with hubspot has really been the only thing going for panda docs.

Cons

Was not alot of customisation options when trying to create links between hubspot and panda docs.

From all the work i had to do by myself without support i decide to run with it for a month and see how it works in our processes. if there are no significant improvements to customer support and functionality i will not continue using this software

Pros

We have been using PandaDoc for a long time. It is the best platform for e-signatures and contract management. The automation process is a time-saver, and their support is truly excellent. The dashboard and interface are easy to understand

Cons

So far, everything is perfect. We've signed over 1.5k docs without any errors.

Pros

It makes using templates, creating templates and standardizing things so much easier. Helps immensely with consistency and has a lot of functionality which is awesome. I work with both our sales team and our clearance and acquisition team (licensing) and it works well for both purposes.

Cons

Sometimes its functionality is limited - would like to see the ability to move whole folders like in Windows Explorer and would like the ability to combine two templates into one document or to put a whole template into the content library to allow it to be added in one fell swoop to another document/template. Wish there were more way to protect templates from people on the team being able to change them.

### "Panda Docs Review"

We use Panda Docs mainly to send out contracts to our customers. We are a painting contracting company that does a good deal of business and we send out 40 or so proposals or contracts a week. We already have estimating software that creates a very professional proposal, so we just upload that proposal to Panda Docs and then drop in a signature and date line on the contract page for the customer to complete. It's quick and easy to do and we like how simple the process is. It is very helpful to get an email when one of my customers opens my proposal as it allows me to follow up with them more strategically. One of the best features of Panda Docs is letting the customer sign my contract electronically and having it come straight back to me via email. My customers don't have to receive my email with my proposal as an attachment, print it, sign it, scan it and then email it back to me. That takes a lot of time and makes it harder to complete the contract. In today's world of doing things on the fly, Panda Docs fits right in. I tell customers that they can sign my contract from their phone all the time. Anything that saves me time and makes it easier to get my contracts signed and returned is worth the money.

Ease of use and simple uploading of documents

Cons

Found it a little hard to make a template the way we wanted it to look, so we just upload our current proposals into Panda Docs

Pros

We like the analytics the most from PandaDoc. We like that we can track our proposals and contracts as our clients are reviewing them. The dashboard is also helpful to keep us organized in our busy months of growth and prospecting.

Cons

The main con for us is that as a marketing company, appearance and attention-to-detail matter. When creating content for a proposal or contract, sometimes the formatting can be extremely hard to customize or to make match the rest of the document. We love the product but this is one small issue we face.

We prepare well designed well-structured professional proposals that can be approved online very fast and easy with Pandadoc. It is a really good time-saver and productive software.

Pros

The tracking feature is great to track who opened your proposal and when. It is very easy to prepare new proposals from your templates or previous proposals. Since it's a cloud-based platform you can integrate it into your CRM system easily.

Cons

The platform has most of the features that you will need for a proposal but you need to upgrade to higher price packages to use some of them.

The ability to customize documents based on information extracted from our CRM and to manage multiple workspaces with multiple users. Also, the ability to create customizable templates according to the user's needs.

Cons

When a document is created from within CRM, it cannot be automatically classified in PandaDoc and ends up in bulk for a free consultation by other users.

### "Insane product versus obsolete pricing"

Wonderful product discovering, harsh disappointment on the pricing model.

Pros

The visual template editor tool is completely insane; nothing to be compared to other existing SAAS out there. Tested like 7 other tools, really nothing compares.

Cons

The pricing model for the first 2 plans (essential 29$ / business 49$) EXCLUDES THE API ACCESS, that can only be enabled — with extra-charges — with an enterprise plan. The enterprise plan is on-demand quote only, through a useless call with the sale team, and probably very expensive (I did not go through there, not time for useless calls). This is completely insane as of 2021 as it makes Pandadoc both unsuitable for automation workflows in human-sized companies, and inconsistent with its competition and its time. This is 21th century, every SAAS out there has an open API from starter plans, and there's a reason for this : an API is not an "enterprise" nor an "advanced" feature at all; every startup use them be it through code or no-code integrations. This is a pretty ridiculous situation where I love the product, already setup everything working like a charm, want to buy it, but am facing an inconsistent and prohibitive pricing model.

PandaDoc is simple to use with an easy learning curve. If you've ever used e-signature software before, it should be easy to switch to PandaDoc.

Pros

The pricing was excellent and it had most all the features we were looking for. The support is real time and very helpful.

Cons

One of the features we had selected didn't make it to our system.

Reason for choosing PandaDoc

The other options showed a 24 hour response time to inquiries. By the time they got back with us, we had already chosen PandaDoc (they didn't get back with us until six weeks later - not good marketing on their part!!)

Pros

The pure easy of the product is its selling point - you are able to set templates for the whole company to use and able to track different stages in the sales cycle to make sure nothing gets missed.

Cons

When sending out the contracts to protective clients, the contract can occasionally get put into junk mail which makes it harder for competition.

I chose to use PandaDoc for a presentation I needed in short order. The timeframe I had to work with prompted me to look for some templates I could buy to edit, and save time. Signing up for Panda was a punt at best, and I wasn't really sure if the cost would be warranted. I was, however very happy with the choice after the fact, as I found a good deal more I could use, and ended up keeping the service for far longer than I initially planned.

Pros

Template options and the ability to edit them into more impactful docs where I needed to were the primary reasons I elected to use the service. I was very happy with these in particular, as they were a point I was basing the cost on.

Cons

I didn't really have any issue with PandaDoc, and wouldn't say that anything really stands out to me as a potential con for anyone in need of any of the many options available.

Reason for choosing PandaDoc

I chose the service over a one-off purchase for the need I was looking to fill mainly due to the options they had for what I needed. After signing up I found far more to use than I expected and found their building tools to be quite adequate and allowed me to skip using anything outside of the browser. (Adobe or related software)

As a company that hires often, using pandadoc has saved us a ton of time. UI is very user friendly and is more simplified than other digital signature softwares we have used before.

Cons

We had a few integration issues in the beginning but they were solved quickly. This software is very easy to learn and use.

We have integrated PandaDoc with Nutshell and can easily generate and track all sent proposals and contracts with a few clicks. The customization tool is simple and allows you to create stunning templates with little effort. Highly recommend!

Cons

While I understand the limitations, I'd love for a better mobile solution.

Pros

I really like how easy it is to organize documents and collect signatures. I like assigning signers and others who are responsible for filling in certain information.

Cons

Sometimes importing documents from word can lose their formatting, and I am very particular about that. I just plan for more time for inputting new documents.

Enjoy using Panda Doc, only wish it had the profit/margin visibility on a line item basis. Other than that we have been very satisfied.

Pros

Flexibility in templates and budgets - real time visibility of document tracking and DocuSign. Love the APP and that I can access proposals from anywhere.

Cons

No visibility on profit/margin %s on a line item / Individual SKU basis - only on the bottom line cost. Poor design

It has made the sales force very convenient. Now we can send bulk emails, check their open rates, follow up accordingly, get it's singed and even receive payments all through one software

Pros

Ease of managing fields that I frequently use to send proposals. Easy to use proposal sending templates while the analytics brilliantly show who's viewed the proposal It supports e-signature so no need to send hard copy to the client. Also it has the capability to collect payments through stripe. Hence its one software for the entire sales function..

Cons

Mostly some emails directly get pushed into the spam folfy of the recipient. Pandadoc should make technical upgrades to avoid this

Pros

I love that I can have many people sign a document. It is also nice to be able to set an order for signing or to have anyone sign. The email reminders that a document has been signed or completed are helpful. I also need to be able to send many documents to be signed in a month and I can do that with PandaDoc.

Cons

I don't have anything that I dislike about PandaDoc so far.
