I will be honest, I decided to give PandaDoc a try because I like pandas, and because their marketing was great. I started with a free trial version and through trial and error learned how to create templates myself. Once I figured out how to use tokens and came up with a design template, there was no turning back. PandaDoc proposals look better than anything that I could have come up on my own, and thanks to tokens, the chance of leaving a wrong client name or other important detail is eliminated. If your clients are used to signing contracts digitally, you will find the PandaDoc digital collaboration and activity log feature invaluable.

Pros

I like that PandaDoc makes it easy for me to create beautiful, professional looking proposals in just a few minutes.

Cons

I wish it were easier to preview page breaks before I download multi-page proposals to PDF so I could make decisions on how to move content around to avoid page breaks in weird places.

I am able to send the quantity I need without any additional payments to PandaDoc.

Pros

The annual price is better than other competitors by a long shot. Can also send unlimited documents which is what we need since I send a lot of contracts.

Cons

1\. The mobile cell phone signing feature is called"In Person Signing" which is not really very clear to the people I send documents to 2. Using an iOS device the mobile signature feature is flawed, many kinks that need to be worked out. Currently it is confusing to people how to actually sign from a cell phone. I put in a fixit request more than a month ago, they are supposedly working on it, but there has not been a fix as of today. 3. The input fields take longer to put in the document and assign to signers than competitors.

DocuSign was charging me $59 per month to send unlimited documents, but then I was contacted by them years after I first signed up and they wanted me to pay over $4,000 annually to do the same thing I've been doing for the last several years. They provide NO additional services, and expected us to pay an exorbitant rate. I am a small business, and many of my contracts are low in terms of revenue to my company, so paying an increased cost is not an option for us.

We have cut down the amount of time it takes to get signed legal documentation from customers which allows us to begin work on projects much sooner! Also, housing all documents in one place allows for ease of access should we need to find a specific document.

Pros

With software development being our field of specialty, we have many documents that we need our customers to read over and sign. The location to a printer for some was easy, but for others, it would take so long for them to print out the number of documents, sign them, scan them and send them back to our team in which they would live in a random folder in our drive. Using PandaDoc allows us to create templates for each of our legal documents and send them directly to the signer in which they can click a few buttons and send it back over to us and everything is housed neatly together in folders.

Cons

It does get a little pricey the more users you add, but if you only have one person that needs to access the information it is well worth it.

Reason for choosing PandaDoc

We looked at DocuSign because many of our customers use it because you can customize each of your documents and brand it directly to fit your company. The number of features PandaDoc's has compared to DocuSign was almost double giving us more uses for the software than just getting documents signed.

Pros

We use PandaDoc every day. It is pretty easy to maneuver and makes getting contracts tp clients much quicker and simpler.

Cons

The recent updates were a bit difficult to get used too. The old version allowed us to attach pdfs directly into the document and be viewed as part of the contract. Now they are only able to be added as an attachment that could easily be missed. This issue has created extra steps for us which increases the amount of time it takes to send these to our clients.

Are we still talking about PandaDoc? Or are we talking about Capterra now? I thought I rated PandaDoc on the last page, but "Thanks! We received your review. We'd love to learn more about your experience with this software." is confusing ... doesn't seem like a specific enough question.

Pros

The main user interface and its components are great! The dashboard is helpful for an overview of what's in the pipeline (Sent->Viewed->Completed->Draft ... although I think draft should be first). If I am anticipating someone to review and sign a document in the next 24-48 hours, I can easily see when it is moving along the process by hitting refresh occasionally (on my web browser) without actually being in the document itself. The icons on the left navigation bar make sense after you use it for awhile (Dashboard->Documents->Templates->Catalogs->Contacts). I like how templates can quickly and easily generate documents when set up properly. The folder system is intuitive and not too cluttered.

Cons

The document editing system is a bit clunky. The lack of basic formatting options can be frustrating. To me, the two most sensible reasons for using a software like the one PandaDoc provides is, 1) to keep a tight reign on important legal documents, and 2) to have a way of accomplishing the former electronically. It would be ideal if I could port from Word or Google Docs and have it retain the outline format, but even if that didn't happen quite correctly, it's not even an option to change the ordered list type without custom CSS. This is particularly important for legal documents, which almost always has nested ordered lists. It would also be ideal if a hard tab could be added. Using a specified number of spaces in conjunction with the justify text alignment produces substantially inconsistent results. Also, it would be nice to have the two-column text layout be available for actual text in text blocks, not just for the text on the cover. It seems strange to only have that available for the cover. Thanks for soliciting our feedback!

Pros

I love having templates - our business isn't one which can be easily automated but this saves us a lot of time and allows us to be consistent.

Cons

No real dislikes! It's always being improved and added to, support is good. It doesn't do dumb things like insist you use 100 characters, unlike this reviews site! :)

Very positive. I have been comparing e-signature platforms for sometime, and as a small business, I needed an solid, simple solution that didn't break the bank. Pandadoc provides exactly that.

Pros

Having an affordable option for certified digital signatures (this funcitonality is actually free!) is brilliant. I can upload quotes and proposals, get notified when the client views the document, and received legal, secure signatures is great.The integration with HubSopt is a dream. All of my quotes are attached to deals and I can easily manage the documents across systems.

Cons

I don't have any complaints about Pandadoc. I find it easy to use for e-signature management and my clients like it.

Cons

Loading time of documents can be a bit frustrating. Hence, it can be improved. Pricing also seems very high.

PandaDoc simplified a very complicated contract approval process for our team. As an enterprise user they have been diligent in fielding development requests and rolling out new features.

Pros

Easily building custom workflows and an integration directly into Hubspot makes sending proposals seamless for our team.

Cons

The design tool is clunky and requires a bit more CSS knowledge than the average user will have. There is a new tool that should improve this process.

Pros

It key asset is definitely its simplicity. Its a great user experience and is so easy for new users to adopt. Its worth taking time at the start to get your templates correct but once that's done its so easy to produce professional quotes or proposals. Your Sales team will literally save hours. Unlike some software, if you do make a mistake its very simple to "undo" and fix a problem. Its actually fun to produce quotes with Pandadocs and we have found sales guys actually enjoying producing the proposals as opposed to dreading it.

Cons

For us, Panda doesn't link to our Sage CRM which means we have to create a contact each time. A company entity within Panda would be great for a quick view of quotes to that organisation.

Pros

It streamlined our process and removed some potential for error when passing around Word documents. Love the ability to see progress on documents, get updates, and view status on dashboard. Using this instead of emailing PDFs or sending through a signature platform makes us look more professional, and in most cases is easier for our clients to use. The sales, development, and customer service teams have been SUPER responsive and hungry for feedback. It's really impressive how invested they are in continuing to build and improve the product.

Cons

At first the design interface was pretty limiting, but they've rolled out an upgrade. Lack of a true in-platform redlining feature is a drawback for us, but PandaDoc is responding to feedback and it seems like that's something that will happen in the future. As a longtime Word user, sometimes there are things that don't seem super intuitive, but it's mostly just a learning curve.

Cons

There have been a few bugs in the past on the integration with HubSpot. Sometimes documents load pretty slowly.

Pandadoc allows us to generate a full list of documentation that clients need to fill in and/or sign without ever worrying about data loss or image quality loss, and it allows us to send these documents quickly and securely.

Pros

Pandadoc is absurdly robust in terms of what kinds of documentation you can piece together from templates and send to a client fully customized with fields for the client to fill in and/or sign. It also ensures gorgeous clarity of the image so that legal documents can be as crisp as possible for filing purposes.

Cons

There is a lot of setup time involved, and the more fields you need filled in per page, the more time it takes to get the document set up. It's still a lot faster than doing it by hand/email, but it can take a few hours out of your week if you need to update or add a document to your template pool.

We adopted this system to send out our organization's legal documents, and so far the experience has been great. I would highly recommend this e-signature product.

Pros

The interface to send out documents is great, and there are some better features offered than the other competitors (such as masked fields, a proposal making function, attachments you can make to the document, and a signature authentication page with each agreement). PandaDocs offers basically the same function as DocuSign, but it has some additional features and the cost is considerably cheaper.

Cons

Sometimes depending on the email server, the automated email sent by PandaDocs gets sent into the partners junk mail. Doesn't integrate with SharePoint.

Pros

The fact that it handles so many features (as mentioned above) in one single package, in additiona to tracking analytics (when recipients open/view documents), use of templates, reusable content libraries, price lists - and backed by an excellent (and responsive) support team.

Cons

We don't have the Enterprise version, so we can't use some of the advanced features we would like. Having said that, we of course understand that every product must have various pricing levels - we simply don't need enough of these features to upgrade to Enterprise.

I love PandaDoc. I have used it for invoicing, contracts, NDA’s, non competes, sub contractor agreements, and so much more. It is capable of so much! When integrating a system for a client, I try to make most of the process automated as I my client base is mainly small business owners who don’t have time to manually do each process.

Pros

Very user friendly, capable of doing many things (and everything expanding!) integrates with plenty of programs easily.

Cons

There is not much I don’t like about PandaDoc- the only thing I can say here is when setting it up (for a small business owner to take over the program)- showing them the integration between Pipedrive and how to set it up using variables is not as user friendly to people who don’t usually see this.

We switched over from DocuSign to have more capability to design astetically pleasign proposals and contarcts for our customers. It has been a huge improvement.

Pros

Pandadoc is a one-stop shop for contract design and flow management. Although users are somewhat constrained during the design process of a document template, this can be managed with a working knowledge of CSS. Customer service is pretty good, although I think their onboarding process is a little over-the-top and should be more customized. I didn't think we needed 4+ meetings for onboarding.

Cons

It's currently impossible when designing templates to know simple things like the size and font of copy you're using. I'm told this will be fixed in a future iteration

I love PandaDoc and recommend adding to your tool belt...unless your in my space as I like standing out above the competition! :)

Pros

In the field I'm in my competition is still using word and .pdf for contracts and proposals. That is like using a fax versus an email. By using PandaDoc it makes me stick out and cuts my production time of getting these type of documents out to my clients and prospects. It also allows me to see in advance what sections they review the most and be ready to address those sections on a follow up call. I also love that it makes notes on my CRM and notifies all parties that the contract is signed when completed and gives them the ability to download a copy. (This keeps me from having to send out to everyone).

Cons

Would love for them to add a redline function and my understanding is that is coming soon. When working on a more advanced agreement that would come in real handy!

Pros

The application integrates with CRM, as well as ERP, payment systems, Google Services, cloud storage Dropbox, Box and other systems. You can create quotes and contracts with custom templates that allow for branding, themes, and personalization options. Almost any file type can be downloaded and configured.

Cons

The need to pay a monthly fee for a full range of services. PandaDoc has a very slimmed-down free version, but Surevis has a 14-day free extended trial.

Lo que más me gusta de esta app es su fácil uso y su comodidad a la hora de poder firmar documentos digitalmente en cualquier momento y lugar.Es una herramienta muy dinámica y se puede personalizar todo tipo de documentos.

Cons

Lo que menos me gusta es que no es totalmente gratuita, por lo tanto, no puede acceder a ella todo el menudo, pero tiene un bajo coste que cualquiera se lo puede permitir para hacer más cómodo su día a día.
