As a landlord, the software provides me with all the necessary features, and once you become familiar with it, it is very easy to use. Cons In my opinion, there is room for improvement in the user experience for new users. While the software does have some automated features, it can be confusing for those who are unfamiliar with the system. Unfortunately, during my initial leasing signing using this software, I made a mistake due to this confusion. Our clients are actually able to comprehend the value of the services we offer when we can send them a proposal that tells a story rather than just lists prices and descriptions for services they don't understand. Essentially, there are two types of documents within PandaDoc - uploaded (from an existing file), and what we like to call "editable," which are created or converted to be able to edit within the PandaDoc editor. When you upload a PDF, it will upload as a static image file to add fields on top of for your recipient to fill in, while our system can convert Docx files automatically. A great workaround if you need to edit a PDF inside of PandaDoc would be to convert the PDF to a Docx file outside of PandaDoc, and then upload it and choose to convert. We also offer conversion services in which our team will convert your existing PDF files into editable PandaDoc templates to get you started! Things that in my point of view are very simple. For example you can not send a reminder for a document unless you put a signer. (This is just an example) Pros The suport team is very responsive and kind. They answer very very quickly and they are willing to help. However the tool as a system has some bugs and it is not always working. Cons Functionality. In some things the tools is very rigid. Pros For my job, I have to write multiple contracts for our clients daily. While our product/service doesn't change, each clients' contract can vary on a case to case basis. MY favorite part about PandaDoc is that you can choose specific words or phrases that can be modified per case, while keeping the body of the contract the same. It makes sending contracts efficient and my patients receive their contracts in a timely manner to speed up business. Cons It does take the documents (depending on the size) a while to load sometimes. So I wish that was a bit quicker, but once it has loaded you can navigate through it with no problems. December 28, 2016 4.0 I use PandaDoc to create proposals and contracts for my company. It's pretty easy to use (especially over the last few months). I love the templates you can create, from full documents all the way to small pieces that you can drag into another document. My only two problems: 1) It gets a little buggy sometimes and doesn't do what I want when editing a document 2) when I send contracts out, they usually end up in someone's spam folder. Pros I love being able to create ready to go templates for proposals and contracts that I use often. It also makes the proposals look BEAUTIFUL. Cons 1) Sometimes when I'm editing a document, it bugs out. Like it will delete text or rearrange text or won't create an unordered list in the correct way. When this happens, I close out of the window and come back to it. 2) when I send contracts out to people through panda, it typically ends up in their spam folder because it's coming from a panda email that is being flagged as spam. Pros The most attractive feature was how it has an integration with Hubspot, this allows our sales deals & contracts that need signing to be tied closely together in Hubspot. Sometimes, I would even skip the contract-signing part of my client intake process, just because I knew it was going to take so much time + cause headaches. When it came time to renew my account, I instead started researching other options. PandaDoc had some great reviews, though it seemed like it was still fairly new on the scene. I decided to do the Free Trial... and was hooked. Didn't need to look at any other options out there. When I started using PandaDoc, I was amazed at how simple + quick + refreshing it was to use. I kept expecting it to get more difficult, like all the other document management software I'd used in the past. Even my team & clients are pleasantly surprised at how easy PandaDoc is compared to everything else they'd encountered. (When I walked my virtual assistant through the process, she kept saying, "Wait, that's it?" and "That's all I have to do? That was too easy.") Customer service is fantastic -- quick, friendly, & very knowledgable. (To be honest, though, I've only had one or two instances where I even needed help. Seriously. It's super easy to use.) The only 2 places where I've seen people get a little confused are... - Adding people to the "send to" list. They keep thinking that, once they type in the person's name or email, that person is automatically added, and they forget to click the "Add" button. - When adding fields to documents (contracts specifically), it's easy to drag n' drop a field where you want it... But then it's not readily apparent how to get BACK to all the field options. (You have to click the word "Fields" up top, but it doesn't necessarily look clickable or obvious. Maybe a tiny change to "< Back to Fields" would make that easier?) So far, I've only used PandaDoc for my client contracts, but I'm sure I'll be exploring the rest of the options soon. Read this first! " February 7, 2017 1.0 We used it for a surveying company and I am extremely disappointed. We are based in the UK. Although the so-called support seem very friendly before you sign up I've been telling them about the following bugs which have yet not been resolved 2 months after notifying them. \*The document does not save spelling mistake changes. \*The document does not register the space bar so my typing is one continuous line of text when I look up at the screen. \* Various other things like adding pictures - when you upload them and they are straight their system uploads the pics so they are sideways..?? Its really annoying and I'm seriously frustrated as i paid upfront for the whole year! They say they are looking into it, two months later I've contacted them many times and nothing. I would not sign up again based on my experience, there are a few other options we are going to look in to for next year now. I am really disappointed the idea is great.. Sorry panda doc. Not only do I appreciate the visibility into the status of contracts, but I appreciate how easy it is to digitally sign and store documents. Pros I love, love that I can see when my clients are viewing my contracts. If I notice that they haven't looked at a contract I sent over, I can remind them. If a client has viewed but not signed, I know there could be a holdup in the approval process. If a client looks at their contract mid-term, it's an indication that they may be unhappy or reconsidering terms. I also appreciate that PandaDoc integrates with HubSpot. Cons I find it easy to make contracts based on templates, but I still struggle a bit with fields and tokens when creating templates. Also, sometimes the formatting of fields change, which means I have to edit the document and recirculate through the approval process.
