Pros

Pandadoc is Great for client signatures on contacts, proposals and any other legally binding document.

Cons

The API is only available at the highest level of pricing and needs more endpoint. Support is slow.

### "Thinking of using panda doc?? Read this first! "

We used it for a surveying company and I am extremely disappointed. We are based in the UK. Although the so-called support seem very friendly before you sign up I've been telling them about the following bugs which have yet not been resolved 2 months after notifying them. \*The document does not save spelling mistake changes. \*The document does not register the space bar so my typing is one continuous line of text when I look up at the screen. \* Various other things like adding pictures - when you upload them and they are straight their system uploads the pics so they are sideways..?? Its really annoying and I'm seriously frustrated as i paid upfront for the whole year! They say they are looking into it, two months later I've contacted them many times and nothing. I would not sign up again based on my experience, there are a few other options we are going to look in to for next year now. I am really disappointed the idea is great.. Sorry panda doc. I hope you take note of this... Im speaking out-out of annoyance you've caused me...

### "Great tool for contract management and visibility"

Since a significant part of my job is pitching and securing new business, I use PandDoc multiple times per week. Not only do I appreciate the visibility into the status of contracts, but I appreciate how easy it is to digitally sign and store documents.

Pros

I love, love that I can see when my clients are viewing my contracts. If I notice that they haven't looked at a contract I sent over, I can remind them. If a client has viewed but not signed, I know there could be a holdup in the approval process. If a client looks at their contract mid-term, it's an indication that they may be unhappy or reconsidering terms. I also appreciate that PandaDoc integrates with HubSpot.

Cons

I find it easy to make contracts based on templates, but I still struggle a bit with fields and tokens when creating templates. Also, sometimes the formatting of fields change, which means I have to edit the document and recirculate through the approval process.

Pros

fairly easy to use for basic features, basic integration works OK with Hubspot CRM. I do like that it uses css for the formatting and that can be customized

Cons

some of the features are clunky - no tools to do things like calculate margin on a line item or apply and discount from list price to come up with a unit price. No ability to duplicate line items.

Pros

I love the breadth of PandaDoc's functionality. I've used several other e-signature tools before, and none come close to offering what PandaDoc does. It's integration with our Salesforce CRM is so seamless, and we save so much time creating order forms using the PandaDoc "tokens."

Cons

From the Salesforce CRM integration standpoint, I don't like that you can't switch workspaces from within Salesforce, so every time I need to sign a contract for a different workspace (for us that's each product line and region), I need to login to the PandaDoc website and switch workspaces and then go back and refresh my CRM page. It's not a huge deal, but it's a waste of a minute just about every single time I create a document.

Pandadoc helps me save money with drafting legal documents.

Pros

I will go straight to the point here, there was a time I needed a few contract agreements made, didn't want to hire a lawyer for the job so I went online in search for solutions, Pandadoc came up in the first page and I clicked. What I got was a template with all the necessary clauses and conditions for a standard contract agreement, what a sigh of relief it was. All I had to do was to hire a freelance legal writer to review the document and have it cleaned up. Overall, I received a standard and professional contract agreement, some dollars saved, cool, right? Yeah! This is how I get most of my legal documents now.

Cons

More document templates should be added, overall, everything else is fine.

Helps me save time

Pros

Best part of this software is that its easy to use , very intuitive and super fast. Best part which I like is that I can add video to document . You can email track them and know if your user opened the document or not. The other feature which I use is digital signature and last but not the least integration with stripe , I mean you can send proposal , get them signed and take payments also ... all under one roof .. perfect software

Cons

sometimes its buggy but I think there is not a single perfect software

PandaDoc allows you to integrate with your CRM so that it creates proposals based on the information that you have of your clients in the CRM. You can monitor when your clients view the proposals.

Cons

Can't think of anything! Everything works very well and it's easy to manage and keep track of all the proposals you've sent. Makes the sales cycle a breeze.

My overall experience has been very positive. Especially appreciate the fact that you don’t have to manually email the document back to the original sender once filled out, but that the document gets automatically relayed back to them once complete. Saves an extra step, unlike other similar software.

Pros

This software provides an incredibly quick option for sending and receiving digital signatures on documents. I’ve used it many times when filling out on boarding documents for short term gig work, and the prompts take you straight to the areas that need a signature or text. Very user friendly.

Cons

I haven’t ran into any issues with this software. All of my experiences with it have been positive, don’t have any negatives to share.

Flexible proposal generation.

Pros

Our sales team finds it to be flexible enough for the various proposal requirements they deal with and the look and feel we've been able to create is a differentiator for us.

Cons

If the prospect requires you to send a PDF and doesn't execute the agreement via PandaDoc there is no way to change the status of the proposal in PandaDoc.

Cons

### "Will be great when the industry catches up"

Easy to make a proposal with templates and price lists. I could often do one in 5 minutes. Love the feature to make line items optional with a checkbox. Also love the feature to make form fields required or not. Great product with great potential, therefore I've given it mostly 5 stars. That being said, I've moved onto something else for the time being due to the cost for something that just really does one thing being high for a small business. Built in CRM, project management, etc would make it more viable. Also seemed hit or miss as to whether clients "received" the files, though I'm sure this was on the client end. As a residential/commercial contractor, not everyone in our customer base is tech savvy, so our industry customer base will need to catch up also to make viable. Our staff ended up just sending a PDF version as attachment most the time which negates read receipt features that make the software great. Also, very few clients used the digital signature feature. "Ease of use" for client could be better, therefore, but can see as a great tool in a more technology oriented customer base.

Pros

Easy document creation with drag and drop pre-saved components. Price list and templates are great. Like how can make some line items optional with a check box.

Cons

Price high if not getting the most out of it. Customers who are used to just receiving an email attachment had trouble reconciling it and very few used the digital signature feature, so was too much for us to spend for just a good document creator.

Overall, the customer success team has been very responsive, and PandaDoc keeps rolling out new products to improve their offerings. I definitely prefer this to uploading a PDF to Docusign - the fact that it syncs with Pipedrive, and offers an easy Slack integration are both enormously helpful.

Pros

We had previously built our own hacked together proposal automation system using Zapier, Google Docs, and Pipedrive's open APIs. This has simplified things so much - now, whenever a customer requests a proposal or contract, we can very easily turn out a customized document to send over for their exact use case. I also like that unlike sending PDFs, PandaDoc gives you real analytics around when people viewed the document and what pages they read - this has helped us improve our proposals overall.

Cons

The template features - especially the word processing ones - could still use a bit more work. For example, for contracts, you can't use easily use an automated outline format (I., A. 1.) and sometimes the bullet points/numbering systems they do have can be a bit buggy.

PandaDoc has saved us a ton of time in document creation and gathering signatures.

Pros

Over the years I have used and tested many of the document collaboration products out there and this rises to the top. The ability to create tokenized documents that pre-fill with information from your CRM is priceless. This alone will save you a ton of time. Also, the fact you can easily drag and drop modules to quickly create or modify documents is a huge benefit. Some modules allow for a certain level of interaction with the end receiver, so they adjust the proposal to their needs. For example, you can add optional pricing variables which a user can select or deselect.

Cons

Love PandaDoc, but I wish the Zapier integration was available on the Individual plan.

Whenever we have needed faraway clients to sign contract offers, Pandadoc always comes to the rescue, allowing our customers to sign contracts digitally.Thereby saving us days of waiting for documents to be delivered via post or courier. It integrated perfectly with our CRM, thereby enabling us to send contract offers to leads already generated on our CRM.

Cons

I wish we could search for documents directly on the main dashboard, without the need to switch to the document or contact section.

### "I no longer hate writing Proposals!"

I'm very happy with PandaDoc and it's integration to Zoho CRM. There's nothing equivalent in the Zoho Suite. It presents a professional appearance to the Prospect and makes a positive impact.

Pros

I've reduced Proposal writing time from 8 hours to 2 hours on average, by having it merge key paragraphs from my Zoho CRM, pull in pricing tables with radio buttons that permit the Prospect to choose the best retainer level to fit their budget, and ensure the Proposal gets read through via requiring they initial key points and sign the proposal. I immediately know that they've read it, and how much time they spent on each page.

Cons

It takes a little work to add other fonts to the font library, and it takes a little knowledge of HTML if you want to set styles beyond what's included.

Overall, I really love PandaDoc and will continue to use it

Pros

I really love the e-sign feature of PandaDoc amount other things. I can send forms to be completed or attachments to be reviewed and initialed. The possibilities are endless.

Cons

One area of improvement is the Contact area. It would help to have a middle name or initial field as most people have multiple names. Also, the ability to share templates with other PandaDoc users and when downloading a template from PandaDoc have it not be a pdf. Improving search features is another area that needs improvement as well.

We like being able to send documents to people and have them sign them.

Cons

It's extremely time-consuming to download all the documents we send and save them into our files. We also have problems I'd say once a month where we are unable to send documents in bulk for different reasons.

Tracking documents, commenting, templating audits and proposals, digital signing.

Pros

Super easy to use and makes setting up beautiful forms a breeze. Adds professional style to my business. Great seeing when people view documents and the ability to comment directly in each one and keep them organized.

Cons

The biggest issue I've found is that there's no easy way to resize images in the forms. I'd love to be able to click and drag or enter dimensions to make my own custom image sizes for theming documents.
