This was often very frustrating as team coordinator. With MemberPlanet I have easily setup both our Lacrosse and Hockey clubs making it so much easier to collect memberships and we have seen a huge increase in sponsorship with the online options. We house all of our fundraising efforts, chapter events, and any payments online with them. They also have an MP app that allows our sisters to use our iPhones, iPad, iPod touch, & Androids to collect on-site donations, collect event tickets, & t-shirts sells. I found the software easy to use and very logical. The options available to send emails and newsletters to the group, manage a calendar of events, and to connect members make it an excellent resource for advertising and managing communications amongst members! If a member restricts their email or gets bounced, I wish there was an easier way to undo those if that member wanted to start receiving emails again. For membership campaigns, it would be nice if there was an easier way for members to pay their dues if they didn't recieve the email - like being able to email them a direct link to pay dues. Workings through the different sites has been easy. Being to handle financial things through the site is very easy and convenient. In addition, it allows members of the finance team to be able to pull their information as needed and to submit a report in a timely manner. I have found the staff (in particular Patrick Terrian) to be extremely helpful, when there are times they could have pointed me to help forum. We are grateful and thankful for Memberplanet. There are several types of payment systems. One that can be tied into a member database where all members (or subgroups) can get "billed". another allows you to create a form for a one time event where people "opt in" to pay. All the funds are processed and transferred automatically on a weekly or monthly basis (your choice) to your account. It is easy to set up & easy to track reports via the reporting system. December 22, 2015 4.0 Today the MemberPlanet team helped us send out an email blast. That we were having problems with sending out due to the amount of recipients it was going to. They help us resolve the problem and get the email out before the end of the day. The overall software is pretty easy to work with and we are still learning things we can use to help our business grow. It is a little confusing, but think once I get trained in all the areas, it should help our organization. We have had a few errors, but the customer service reps have always been very helpful in resolving our issues. Pros I honestly have not used it enough to know. Cons It is a little confusing but think I need better training on how it works. I do think there are limitations on what it "can and cannot" do to meet the needs of the customers. April 2, 2015 4.0 The platform has allowed our collegiate chapters to engage in online fundraising with minimal set up. The MP staff is world class in that they consistently provide prompt and personalized service to all of their various clients. They need to work to improve their reporting and funds transfer processes. With that said I would recommend Member Plant to any organization interested in creating an online fundraising presence. By using MemberPlanet's donation campaigns I was able to raise money for the runs I participate in. I love that you can create the donation page and then can share it via social media to all your friends. Plus the customer service was outstanding. I had no idea of the level of customer service that would come with my Pro subscription.
