We tried others and this one has been a definite win for us and we are happy to have found exactly what we are looking for. Pros The ease of use and practicality of the software is the best I have ever come across. Many things that usually require multiple touchpoints, such as employment verification, benefits, 401K, etc, are all in one place and easy to find. Cons No cons, I am hopeful that they will even provide more options for this one stop site. May 8, 2018 5.0 The way the system is designed is better compared to other companies. Gusto offers three enterprise pricing plans for users to choose from. In addition to the above, it facilitates a better technology, makes everyone easier for me and the people on my team, and I feel confident because the agents service but support to choose better. Pros I like the most is that it helps me manage my work in the human resources department, Gusto handles payments to employees and contractors and also handles electronically the paperwork necessary to help client companies comply with tax, labor, and immigration laws.I love, because I can automate my payroll operations by scheduling. The only issues ai have is with communicating with the company and the time it takes to get resolutions to issues. Pros The guided setup makes setting up an account super-simple. having one fee cover everything is much better than "traditional" payroll companies that charge you to file forms, make changes, run off-cycle and bonus payroll, etc. The reminders make it so you never forget to pay employees. Cons The lack of ability to contact the different departments within the company is frustrating as is the time it often takes to get a response. I have been using this for over 2 years and getting my salary and notifications on time. Pros Great product with on time notifications as soon as you receive your salary. Recently the feature to withdraw your salary beforehand while paying 1% fee is also receiving a lot of praises. I don't have any complaints and happy when clients use this method for payment. Pros Notifications of payment from clients are key for me. I love seeing those emails come in. Easy to see history and tax information. Direct Deposit Cons Two-factor authentication doesn't seem to have a fallback to phone number. I had to boot my old phone to get the authentication token. Switched to Gusto and never looked back. Pros I like how easy it was to implement and migrate from my previous payroll provider. Their customer support has been excellent. And you can also try it for free for 2 months. Cons At first when I first got to know Gusto I couldn't even tell what kind of service they where selling, I think they could work on explaining themselves better in the site and making it more straight forward. Gusto makes receiving your paycheck even MORE amazing - it throws in fun facts about what you could spend your money on (like how many times you could circle the earth with the gas money you could buy...LOL), and it allows employers to write special notes on your paychecks, too. It's overall a beautiful software, easy to use and navigate, and it holds all of the important documents that I would need for paystubs, timeoff, taxes, etc. in one place. Cons As a user of Gusto, I really have no complaints! Have never had any issues and customer support is always there to help with any questions or issues. Any time I've had a question regarding setting something, they were right there to help. Pros Very easy to use and they take care of most of the legwork for you. Can easily run off-cycle payroll's, pay with a check instead of ach if needed, etc. Cons Haven't found any as of yet. October 3, 2019 5.0 Great for a small business to handle payroll, time-tracking, and HR functions all in one place. Pros Customer support is fantastic. Our old payroll software, which I won't mention by name, had horrible customer service, where it took 1-2 business days to solve ANY issue. Also, It's simple to add new employees. Every time employees get paid, they get an e-mail, so I don't have to communicate that for them, which is nice. Cons More templates that are already set up and configured would be nice. It felt a little like starting from scratch every time (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but more options would be appreciated). Aside from that, I don't really have anything negative to say. I love it so much! I am not sure how cost-effective it would be for companies smaller than 10 people, but our agency depends on it! Pros I love that all of my tax documents can be found within the program and that I can easily change my withholding amounts. So EASY! Cons Small hiccup with tax registration in one state and then some other confusion with a Worker's Comp policy, but more importantly, customer service resolved both issues quickly. Easy to navigate dashboard, simple payroll tools allow you to reduce cost while managing this necessary HR function. Their chat support is helpful and if it is out of their scope, they refer you to their email support who is also helpful. Pros Gusto emails me to remind me to run payroll for everyone. I simply plug in the hours that need to be paid and answer the questions. Payroll literally takes less than 5 minutes! I also really like that it sends an email to our employees when they get paid. Cons If they need a document, they will turn your ability to run payroll off. They do you give you a warning that you will lose the ability to run payroll, but sometimes it takes longer to track down what they are asking for. You have to submit it and they have to approve it within the time limit that they give you. It's an easy to use, straightforward payroll processing application with excellent reporting. Pros It's SIMPLE. No frills, nothing crazy, just straight up payroll processing. Taxes are a breeze and anything that may be a surprise is laid out beautifully. Reporting is thorough and it's easy to keep track of individual employees. The email notifications are a nice touch! Cons There's not really anything negative to say. As our business grows we may outgrow Gusto but for the time being, the simplicity is something we value immensely. They aren't necessarily dealing with the paid time-off feature not being included, but they agreed with me that it should be part of their "Core" plan. Pros I like how intuitive it is. For lots of small businesses, meandering through your QuickBooks' and your ADPs may seem like a labyrinth considering how antiquated the former especially may seem. Gusto utilizes an easy-to-navigate UI similar to apps like Square so it helps small business owners keep track of payroll, benefits, and the other HR necessities. Cons Probably has to be the way perks are bundled. The "Core" plan should also include paid time-off policies and requests off. At least here in Pennsylvania, workers are entitled to a paid day off granted we complete a certain amount of hours, and if a small business in Pennsylvania uses this program at the minimum that they can afford, how do their employees receive their paid time off when they need it the most? Sure some paperwork outside of the app would suffice, but the point of this app is to streamline HR services. It has a really clean interface and was really easy to use, which is most important to me. Pros I loved how easy Gusto was to use. I could manage my payroll and time off super easily, and their interface is really clean and simple from a UX perspective. Very professional. Cons We switched from Gusto to another solution to consolidate some of our HR needs. Gusto would have been a better fit if it had more HR capabilities like employee performance management.
