They are able to print them off and save a PDF if they need the paystub. Prior to this our staff would lose them and would have to wait on the finance manager. Sometimes they would have to wait a couple days because our finance manager is a part time employee. This makes it much easier on the staff! Cons I am not sure about the wallet. I have my own bank account with a savings account and when I signed up I received offers to set this up. I also received emails about setting this up. Pros Gusto is a helpful platform for employees to use when making decisions about benefits and is useful when checking payroll information. Cons Gusto would be better if it had additional integration capabilities, such as with G Suite for access to email and calendar. September 30, 2022 5.0 they have been fine for our payroll, and we like their onboarding process. Pros Gusto makes managing payroll and onboarding new contractors and employees incredibly simple. Cons The service is generally subpar when complications emerge, particularly those involving state tax filings. For instance, Gusto informed me that they would not be able to check into a letter I received from the state that required a response regarding a tax issue within seven days. However, they stated that they will cover any fines that might be incurred as a result of the delay. I really don't want to work that way. Review Source ML Mary L. Will use again if I start another company. Pros As a small startup, we used Gusto from the beginning and found it wonderful to use. Easy set up, very user friendly, great UX/UI Cons Wish it was cheaper. While it's in line with it's competitors, funds are just tight at startups, so would've loved a free trial offer or referral program. I was not an acting administrator of Gusto but was a user involved in the selection of this payment process. It was selected for our startup to save time and money and has done all of those things. Pros I personally love being a user of Gusto. I have had zero problems in my time being a user of Gusto and that is one of my biggest pro's of this software. Dealing with payment softwares can create stress around the validity or reliability of your payment. Gusto is on time and always reliable. It has great automated messages to communicate business transactions. It also has great readability and usability. The software is easy to administer and understand off the bat avoiding wasted time and confusion. Cons In my time being a user of Gusto I personally have had zero negative experiences using it. Pros Gusto is great for a a small business with regular payroll needs. Cons Our business is seasonal, and we hire up to 200 temporary employees over the summer. The reports are easy to build and follow. If you are thinking about switching to Gusto you won't regret it. Pros What don't I like? The graphics are great and everything is labeled cleanly. Gusto can do so much, just from onboarding to termination, with everything in between. It's so much better and easier to navigate than ADP and doesn't have the hidden costs. I researched and considered many different companies, from enterprise to boutique and Gusto seemed the right-sized option. I believe it was still called Zen Payroll when we started. We also were using Zenefits at the time, but now Gusto had rendered Zenefits moot for us, as a small agency. It handles PTO easily. Migrating over from our legacy payroll system was fairly painless as well because it allowed us to enter in historical payments. It's just very easy to use and if you're a small company without a formal HR department, it's really valuable. It autogenerates the W2s and 1099s at the end of the year. Pros Highly intuitive, fully featured, easy to use Cons Reporting could be a bit more granular, especially reporting on contractors. Sometimes support is not as responsive as one may like. Their customer service is TOP NOTCH. They are quick to respond and also have a ton of info to keep us informed. I really love the product. Cons There is not a lot that I don't like about Gusto. We have not had any issues. It only takes me a few minutes to run payroll each time. Pros I love Gusto. It makes running payroll super easy. They submit the necessary reports to the state and automatically calculates the taxes to take out. It's super affordable compared to a payroll service or accountant. Cons I honestly can't think of much that could be improved. They withdrew the money from our account but NEVER PAID OUR STAFF! We had to pay our staff out of our pockets so they could get paid on time and fight for days to get our money back from Gusto WHICH WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR!!!. NO ONE FROM GUSTO APOLOGIZED OR ACCEPTED RESPONSIBILITY!! Pros It's easy to read and navigate through the site . Cons Absolute Nightmare when there is a mistake or Gusto messes up. It is impossible to get someone on the phone or someone who actually cares to help. They're all matter of fact and do not actually provide help or guidance to a solution. We're a small company with a staff of 6 and if a payroll issue occurs then someone within Gusto should help but they don't. In past was known as Zen payroll also award winning software. Overtime and bonus are closely monitored. Email alerts of salary account credted is the best feature.
