During my time using Gusto, it was pretty easy to use and any questions I had were always answered right away by Gusto's team. Even after I left a company who used Gusto, the team at Gusto were able to help me track down my W2s or other resources I might need. Cons When using Gusto, there were some bugs and issues, like issues with loading, and issues where it couldn't access information. May 15, 2025 5.0 Payroll that used to take hours now takes minutes. And compliance anxiety is way, way down. Gusto allowed us to scale HR work without scaling the team. Users can manage their own finances and pick what they want. Pros I love Gusto. It has so many features that are good for employees. I also like the notifications. It is easy to manage on your own. Cons The first time I applied for the Gusto card it took a while before my fun’s were on my card and my deposit was not sent to my card right away. It offered a service that let you borrow money until your next paycheck. Pros We loved Gusto! It was easy to use and easy to find things and get around the site. Finding time sheets and end of the year documents was really simple. Cons There were no cons. All the employees really enjoyed the features. The experience continues to be everything I have come to expect from Gusto. Pros Gusto is, by far, the easiest time keeper management program on the market. Tracking time is easy. Gusto is end-user friendly and makes finding all of the information you could need relating to payroll a piece of cake. Time off is very easy to request. Cons There isn't really anything about Gusto I do not like, but it would be nice if the mobile version allowed for entering time through the keyboard rather than a scrolling time card. It is the perfect assistant to ensure that paystubs are done accurately, in a timely manner and allow for employees to have access to their tax documents. Pros As an employee I loved Gusto! It provided real time feedback and allowed me to see my most recent pay stubs down to the minute. I appreciated being able to follow it weekly. Cons The only downside I found with Gusto was the delay. Product enhancements caused payroll issues, where Gusto refused to take responsibility or corrections Pros Friendly and logical User Interface. Separates employees from contractors allowing payroll automation. Cons I regret using this company. All they care is about their fees. Customer service is horrible! Their software development department messed up my Paid Time Off and blamed in on me, without any proof (they said, 'the proof is because we say so') They ignored the employee termination date twice, costing me unrecoverable funds.
