Also for pay as you go workers comp insurance. Pros I love the on boarding it makes it easy for my employees to complete the paperwork and keep Me compliant. Cons I wish the time tracking and scheduling was better so I could use only one product. I use homebase for time clock and schedule unfortunately the integration is not great. I have to input the time because it does not work right. Reason for choosing Gusto Pricing is key in a new small business. Review Source Maria S. Sometimes due to a large number of notifications, the dashboard gets complicated. September 24, 2020 5.0 Gusto is an awesome software that makes my life easier, and I truly mean my entire life! Pros Gusto makes payday a breeze. As someone who handles a team, being able have time tracking for them is fantastic. I am paid a salary, and gusto makes that as easy as possible. I got married while using gusto and changing filing status took seconds. Absolutely love gusto. Cons The window to approve hours is small, I think 24 hours. Gusto is SO easy compared to Paychex AND I'm saving a ton of money in fees associated with the number of employees I have! I am able to run payroll every week (which is my preference) because it's that much cheaper! Cons I have nothing but great things to say about using Gusto! Interior Designer Design Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Track shifts easily" November 29, 2019 5.0 This cuts down payroll time quite a bit by not having to track paper copies and being able to have everyone's information all in one place Pros This makes it really easily to clock in and out from wherever you are and shows you how much you make. Easy to edit shifts if needed. Cons Sometimes the software glitches and leaves you clocked in for 24 hours. It shows the amount you make each day but is before taxes so have to remember that. They were always willing to help and avaialbel in very short periods of time. Pros Customer or Human resources support is prompt and valuable. They answer your questions and concerns swiftly and with knowledge. The software is fairly intuitive so navigating isn't difficult. Cons Most pieces of functionality already exist in the software suite. I cannot remember an issue that they were not able to resolve during my time working with them or the software. Some of the companies they partner with are distant and not readily available for some areas. I found dental to be very difficult, but that could have just been the partner my company chose, I didn't see any other options. Pros These guys rock! set up is fast and easy, customer support is super fast and responsive, and they are really responsive to my employees as well. Cons I can't think of a downside... compared to other options I've worked with (doing payroll myself - yuck! or having my accountant do it - expensive! or Quickbooks - what a pain in the ass) Gusto is fantastic! I guess the "con" is that they don't also provide small business book keeping, too! I'd sign up for that in a heart beat. Something that may not be for us, but will deffinatily keep an eye on it in the future. Pros Gusto is still relatively young but it does stand out with its ease of use and how it has a good set of commonly used tools readily available. Payroll can get complex and take alot of time but Gusto does a good job of taking care of that. The system has shown steady improvements. Cons There are some limitations with schedules and when we had tried it there was no weekend support. The dashboard leaves a little to be desired but it is constantly being updated and improved. So far the setup was seamless and mostly done by the migration team. It is the simplest and most affordable payroll option we were able to find. Cons Even though it is affordable, it still adds to our business's overhead. They charge extra for basic features that everyone requires -- they have features that we need in the Complete package plan which should really be made available in the Core package plan. If you are just starting out with paying people this is a perfect solution Cons They don't actually know all the laws or catch everything. Cons No way to get them to respond to issues. Owe us money, they admit it, yet tell us check is in the mail every week for 6 months. So strange they won't resolve yet admitted in 5 emails it was their mistake and the check is in the mail.
