Gusto’s user friendless and ease is a huge value to me. I love how direct and simple it is to use and understand. It simplified everything for me and I’ve never had any complaints. I am sure our HR Manager also appreciates it as Gusto usually answers any questions I have. Pros What I like most about Gusto is how straight forward it is. It takes all the complex terminology and presents it in simple terms. It pretty much eliminates the headaches that come with federal and state documents. It’s a helping hand that I wish I had when I first started working. Cons Not sure I can say I have a least dislike about Gusto. Every software has room for improvement but as a user, I honestly don’t have any concerns with Gusto. I’ve never had an issue with the software and will recommend it to any company to seeks my input. I have been able to consolidate them. As an accounting firm, I also love being a Gusto "partner". Pros I love the user interface and the updated "look and feel" Gusto has. As a younger professional having software be intuitive and fresh is important. The old looking and cumbersome software are less appealing to me. I have been able to move most if not all my clients to Gusto to start the 2020 year. Cons The way the line items are fed into Xero/Quickbooks is a bit off sometimes. Review Source Mark C. webmaster Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Very Good Software" November 5, 2019 5.0 Overall I was a fan of being able to be hands on and make the decisions I needed by submitting requests and ensuring the onboarding would be a breeze but the rest of the team no so much, I would say know the climate of your office and maybe ask some informative questions before you fully commit. Pros What I loved most was how it allowed the important tasks for the office to be streamlined. After setting it up the HR person seemed to really enjoy how simple it made her job to gather information from employees and file it away or send it to the manager. Cons For my team, they were not a fan of the functionality. They seemed to not understand the features and that lead to poor usage. We thought giving them some self service would be the best thing and they were not a fan of it. Cons You have to educate staff on how to use it properly. If they write to the "administrator," they have to be careful what they write, because it is going to an internal person, not Gusto! Pros Intuitive interface, many options, helpful on-screen hints, and great price. Cons Can't think of anything really. In fact, not only is the software solid, but when you use it they have put a sense of humor in the interface. Reason for choosing Gusto It was recommended by a contractor our office worked with. The online product tour was helpful, and we have been happy with Gusto for payroll ever since. As an employee, I just want to be able to find what I need without having to dig around, and Gusto makes that easy. Cons Hard to find anything that's not to like. You just log in and can review any of your past paystubs and get information about your benefits very conveniently. Pros Costumer support is really amazing and responsive. The application is user friendly and it has super functionalities. Fully recommended. I don't know what I am going to do with all of my saved time and stress, but I can't begin to thank Gusto enough. I am uterly shocked with how easy it is to run payroll. A monkey could run payroll. My 3 year old niece probably could as well. Gusto truly does make it THAT EASY! Pros I am shocked with how easy Gusto makes it for us to do payroll. Honestly so easy a monkey could do it. We used to have to deal with calculating all of the appropriate taxes and then remit them to the right entities and hope that we did it right. Now we run payroll in less than 5 minutes. I love the time tracking feature and even more I love that I can download a pdf of the time sheet for the period to send it to our owner for approval before I run payroll. Cons I really wish there was a way to integrate with Quickbooks so that we can do job costing. I understand this is a big ask, but it would make choosing Gusto over Quickbooks payroll a no brainer. Pros It's an all-in-one package that gives us freedom to focus on the day-to-day without having to worry about different taxes or how to pay for benefits. It really does provide excellent customer service as well whenever we have any questions! Cons It's not really an issue, but there are some different features that you have to pay more to access. However, that is understandable seeing as you get SO MANY features with the base payment. Reason for choosing Gusto I don't recall the other products, but the price point for Gusto and what it provides was the big win. The more we use it, the more we value what we're getting! I like that I can access everything remote. Pros Great options for employees to put their info in online and have all of their payroll information processed through there. Eliminates the document storage for teh employer and they handle all of hte payroll for the employer Cons So far so good. I am an employee so I do not have much negative to say about the software. We used to use a separate software for payroll and time entry, so having everything in one place is awesome. Cons I find that navigating the browser version of Gusto is much different from the phone application. Pros There are so many pros about using this software. I would start by saying that it has a perfect friends user interface and that makes lives so much easier. For example, one of the main features is that there is a free trial and this software automatically gives the chance not only to calculate but also to pay payroll taxes. I would use two main words to describe this product: huge automation and unbelievable innovation. These ones are mixed together in a software that gives high levels of satisfaction to its users. Cons Unfortunately customer service is not available on weekends, so I would personally add this feature in order to keep old customers loyal and to attract new ones.
