I was able to get through everything I needed to with guided prompts and felt very comfortable getting all of my employee information into the system. I've used other tools in the past such as Ultipro that seemed to make this all very different and operated on very large and robust, but dated, systems which made things tedious. The nimbleness of Gusto is something I really liked. Cons There was nothing that stood out to me negatively during my process and even now as a user. I really like it. Review Source MS Matt S. A number of people recommended Gusto to me, and I'm thrilled they did - I'd be lost without it. Pros My favorite thing about Gusto is how easy it is to use. The interface is highly intuitive, which makes onboarding new employees, managing benefits, and running payroll an absolute breeze. Cons I have had some difficulty integrating Gusto with my Quicktime account, but other than this, I have no complaints with Gusto at all. April 16, 2022 5.0 Overall I've really enjoyed using it as an employee and I'm glad that our company chose it over something like ADP Pros Gusto is a modern solution to an age-old problem. The UI and UX are great and it's a wonderful asset as an employee who gets paid through the platform. They also have their own debit card to get paid early and easily. Cons Some features, like time off requests, are slightly confusing at first in how you manage your hours and track your requests, but it's not too bad. This makes it so easy to access my W-2s, any dates I requested off, old paystubs, and anything else I have ever needed. I loved the emails I got on payday, and the neat little facts that accompanied each one! Cons I honestly have no complaints about the program from the user end. " February 25, 2020 5.0 Great experience so far besides initial setup which is a bit lengthy but if you have an in house bookkeeper /HR/accountant person doing it they will probably have no problems. Pros So this is a payroll software in the cloud. It’s ease of use is snacking and best of of all it integrates into my cloud based bookkeeping company Bench. Cons There is nothing bad i can really say about the software it self. As for the Onboarding process i hope they can create a a dept or add more people who can help with that process for companies with less than 10 employees. If you have more than 10 employees this con will not apply to you as they have a special support team for that. If there could be any suggestion it would be to have someone look over our payroll as a check & balance for any missing deductions or paid time off. I cannot explain how things changed by switching to Gusto for our payroll needs, and saved us a lot of money. It was a fairly easy tool to use as far as obtaining my year end tax documents. Cons It isn’t very feature rich, but really doesn’t need to be. It does a good job at what it is supposed to.
