BigCommerce lives up to its name and is a great platform for medium to big ecommerce ventures. A little economy plan for small businesses like ours would have made it the best of all.
The user interface is user friendly in which the products can be built easily with great security. The support in this Application is very helpful in expanding the products over the globe.
Ease of use is great, makes it easier for us to onboard new employees, which is always great. The developer community is something nice to tap into as well as contribute to.
Great intergrations like the same day express postage with Zoom2U. Great pricing better than other platforms.
Cons
I guess everyone is always looking for more flexibility. Their confirmation, invoice, etc. emails are the worst.
The options for adding different clothing options didn’t exist making it difficult for our customers to choose their sizes in the drop down sections.
Support sometimes doesn't know everything about ongoing issues with the platform so sometimes it is frustrating to iterate an issue that team members don't even know are happening.
I worst thing about this is I think it's overpriced. For the price it doesn't have that much features.

"I prefer BigCommerce for its simplicity and ease of use"
Overall: BigCommerce has been the answer to all of the problems that have plagued my online store. Adding and managing products has never been simpler than it is on this site. With just a few clicks, I can make simple, customizable, and downloadable products.
Pros: In every way, BigCommerce is the ideal platform for my company. This platform's dashboard is fantastic, and I appreciate how simple it makes managing and uploading stock. The quickness and dexterity that has been put into protecting and expanding my product sales has met with my complete satisfaction. To run my online store without any restrictions and in a professional manner is a dream come true.
Cons: Although there are times when certain features do not function properly, such as when I am unable to access the applications within the back end or when newly updated features are not compatible with my configuration since I am still using an earlier version of BigCommerce, I have been using the platform for years.

Pros: Everything so far as it's easy and fast to many critical process.
Cons: Reporting needs changes as return reports have full refund but not able to run for partial refunds.

Cons: no access to database - even read only. If we had access to database, we could create a number of reports we currently dont have access to.
