The product itself has multiple levels of categories, which makes it a good product and quite efficient, they have a suggestion section for the new categories to be added. The reporting functions seem to be very adapted to your own needs, it is easily customizable according to need. And the customer service is exceptional, It is not a bad product, it only has a very difficult and laborious implementation process.

Pros

The experience we had with this system is really acceptable, but I must say that in comparison to others this one has many deficits marked terribly as that the configuration of the system is quite complicated in the initial phases, but once it is done and the software gets in operation, it is very good to use, especially when you have to present offers and can be customized according to our needs, it is easy to manage expense reports and although RPs are not easy to handle.

Cons

I have no negative aspects to highlight about this system, it is complete and functional, it will not be the best since it lacks tools for product improvement and financial control, being reduced to a set of elements that help management a bit, summarizing it is pretty basic

Competitive bidding on our outsourcing with easy to compare reporting. Reduction in Supplier base through events to select strategic partners.

Pros

We prioritized iSource because we moved our Procurement and Supply Chain functions out of each region to a Global Organization. As a utility meter and technology manufacturer, we were performing complete E2E production in each of our regions. For cost savings, we outsourced our Surface Mount Technology portion to our new Contract Manufacturing Partners. Zycus iSource has become a great e-sourcing tool for us to elicit these RFQs to our different CM partners and manage the competitive bids, globally. We also use the tool to reduce our number of suppliers as we also elicit RFPs, RFIs to strategic suppliers in areas where our spend is spread over many suppliers and we can successfully consolidate to a group of global strategic suppliers. Another important feature is the requirement of suppliers to agree - digitally - to our Supplier Code of Conduct and Terms and Conditions before participating in a sourcing event where previously, this would often become debatable through email strings.

Cons

Since we did not integrate the tool with our ERP system AND, we had a very quick implementation, my cons may not be about the software itself, but our specific implementation. I will say that the training documentation for each module is very exhaustive and comprehensive. Quick Reference Guides would be a nice thing to have. I made my own for our stakeholders and our unique processes.

Zycus is a leading global provider of complete Source-to- Pay suite of procurement performance solutions. Zycus product portfolio includes operational and strategic aspects of procurement like eProcurement, eInvoicing, Spend Analysis, eSourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Financial Savings Management, Request Management and Project Management.Zycus made a name for itself with AI based auto classification capabilities in spend analysis and master data management way back in early 2000's itself. Zycus is a leader in spend analysis.

Cons

Zycus is suitable for small companies which are looking for deep value for money services. Zycus may not be suitable for large corporations who are looking for global footprint and large onsite professional services provider.
