Pros: Salesforce by far has the greatest number of features and integration possibilities of any CRM I have used.

Cons: Due to the high number of features and integration possibilities, Saleforce can have a high learning curve and requires ongoing training to take advantage of all its capabilities.

Pros: An amazing CRM for the price and much more compared to another product I was getting ready to use for the same price.

Cons: Like being dropped in the middle of DT Chicago without a map, bus info, restroom etc. But it's ok, i"ll get there..

I use the salesforce email tool for work to interact with customers on a daily basis.

Pros: I like the ease of the software especially when it comes to editing responses to customers emails. The split screen is also useful so that I down have to move keep on switching screens.

Cons: It would be nice to create standard scripts and save them on the program. There are times when I have scripts I use on a lot on a given day and it would be nice not to have to create then anytime I use the program.

Overall: It is the best email program I have used in any of my job positions. It is fast and easy to use

Pros: Salesforce has dominated CRM early on, so their platform definitely sets an industry standard. Any feature you see on other CRM services perhaps has been invented by Salesforce and is likely to be on their own platform. With this in mind, I know without a doubt that Salesforce has and will have every feature I need.

Cons: Being a dominated industry leader, Salesforce has become too corporate. The app looks outdated, settings are hard to navigate, and if you have any trouble you become directed to a poorly trained support team.

Pros: Assists in performing a lot of tasks ranging from client relationship management, managing partners, task management and also in the closure of transactions and pricing at one platform. You can customize your dashboard and view the whole statistics of a firm at one go. Allows easy navigation. You can access the platform from any device. Provides high security.

Cons: The graphical user interface is complex, not user-friendly and takes time to get used to the various features and tools. The software does not offer administrator level. It is complicated to generate reports

Pros: Mention Salesforce and those who have used enterprise software over the past years would know what it is. The business model is based on a pay-as-you-use monthly subscription model which guarantees continuous revenue for Salesforce, which is ideal as continuous income is guaranteed. As for the product itself, Salesforce has become the "king" in CRM and lead generation, so much so that companies like SAP have had to revamp their own product and/or make acquisitions (Calledus, anyone?) to compete against this market leader.
What I like about Salesforce is its user interface - currently second-to-none in my opinion, very easy to use and very intuitive.

Cons: There are many up and coming competitions in this space, each trying to nibble into the billion-dollar industry that Salesforce has garnered. Zoho, Apptivo and even SAP's recently announced cloud only C/4HANA aims to dethrone Salesforce from its current position as the CRM market leader. One gripe I have is the pricing of Salesforce - it is priced at a premium compared to Zoho and Apptivo, and it remains to be seen if SAP's C/4HANA can really compete.

Good concept. Time consuming.

Comments: Overall a helpful tool, but I think it takes too much time to maintain on a regular basis. You almost need a dedicated person to run salesforce.

Pros: Had a lot of good features to track clients and there personal interests. Has good linking and benefits multiple persons per company.

Cons: Expensive. Difficult to figure out on your own, too much info. Takes a lot of time to maintain daily.

Pros: The ability to log tasks and then make reports that pull in that data. It's an invaluable way of proving/verifying productivity.

Cons: I'm reasonably proficient with a number of capabilities the program has, but my supervisor and coworkers are not, so it's difficult to convince them to use it.

Overall: Personally, I mainly use it to log the tasks I do daily. As a company we of course use it to log prospects and their data, so I also use it as a reference for client contact data, which is highly relevant to me when performing Local SEO activities.

Pros: It does offer a lot of features and functionality. Based on our CRM needs, it did meet most of them, BUT was not worth the cost.

Cons: There was a bit of a learning curve (it takes some time to get used to using and navigating through the setup and options). The the main issue was that is over priced; it definitely does not cater to small businesses.

Overall: After trying it out and not seeing a value for the overall cost, I did further research and found a better CRM for a much better price.

I love that I am able to set up tasks and reminders of things I need to do in Salesforce. This is by far one of my most favorite products to use in the workplace. I can't find anything it doesn't do!

Cons: I cant think of any cons for Salesforce. It's so easy to use and it assists me with staying organized and on top of everything I need to do.

Pros: It's a leader in the market for a reason; the ability to set up workflows, to respond to sales requests and get an understanding of the customer experience from first contact to purchase is awesome, IF you know how to set it up. I do, and have the people who know both tech and marketing, so in this case it is a powerful tool.

Cons: For those that don't really know marketing or tech, it becomes that tool you brag about but really don't use to its fullest capability. Basically it becomes a glorified autoresponder, tagging a few things and no one gets fired for choosing Salesforce. Still I've worked with so many companies who use it and because they basically are intimidated by what it takes to execute, they choose the path of least resistance, and least effectiveness. The promise of the tool is in the execution, and this is where most get lost.

Pros: Lots of features and options to make it fit your needs
Trailblazer gives you the opportunity to do programming without knowing how to program, so you can build yourself something in house to do a particular flow or task.

Cons: Like many of it's competitors, there are too many features and options that aren't quite what the customers needs or wants, thus requiring you to customize and bring in third party vendors to get the real value out of it. If you fit in their box of what a business is support to work, sure it works out of the box, but in the real world, businesses run differently.
They really should figure out a way to minimize or hide everything that people don't use, to get to a clean slick user interface, having to dig thru tons of menus and options that will never get used.

Pros: I love how easy it is to customize Salesforce for my organization's needs. We have custom fields, reports and dashboards for every business unit. If used correctly, Salesforce makes sure that any information about prospects and customers is logged and updated so everyone at your company can see every interaction. Make sure you use available apps in the AppExchange to connect other softwares to get the most value. If you tie all business softwares into Salesforce it helps keep everything in one place.

Cons: It can be overwhelming to learn how to code and customize Salesforce. Lightning, their latest release, is much easier than Classic. Make sure you search their user community for answers, it is a great resource for how other organization's have solved problems in Salesforce. Once you get comfortable with custom fields, reports, dashboards, etc. it is really easy to tailor Salesforce to your business needs.

Overall: Salesforce ensures all information is in one place. Every department: Finance, Success, Support, Sales and Marketing uses Salesforce to keep track of customer information and make sure we are working in tandem. As our finance person, I love the reporting and dashboards that let me show our leadership team every important KPI in one place.

Comments: Salesforce is used by our entire company to organize our interactions with customers and potential customers. It provides a central database with which we can house all the necessary information on our customers and prospects. We use it to house Billing information, Keep track of sales activity and opportunities, round-robin leads to our sales reps and track who is a customer.

Pros: Salesforce is a very powerful CRM that can be customized to the needs of the customer. If you are willing to commit the time to it, you can create whatever you need in terms of structure and fields. Salesforce allows you to create detailed processes/workflows. Integrating with a large number of other products in the SAAS industry. Salesforce has a very powerful reporting ability. You can build out dashboards and other views that allow you to keep track of import stats, keeping your team on track with its goals.

Cons: Salesforce is not the most user-friendly CRM and doesn't focus as much on User Interface. When importing large amounts of data to Salesforce it's easy to make errors and dealing with duplicates can be very time consuming and difficult

Pros: Clear timelines for each task.
Ability to link contacts to projects.
Tasks can be shared with multiple people

Cons: Once a timeline is expired, have to manually change to keep task in the list.
Multiple editors in a task can create chaos, so communication about the structure and naming conventions is key!

Overall: Helps coordinate teams and track hours

Pros: The tool has a framework that allows you to accomplish almost anything if you can envision the workflow and set it up correctly. Like many organizations, ours suffers from clutter in the tool which some would argue is inevitable without a really good admin team

Pros: It is the industry leader that has every feature you could ask for in a CRM. SalesForce constantly upgrading and adds new features, making it the CRM that others strive to be. It is very feature-packed, and for a mature sales team on an enterprise level, it is without a doubt, the goto choice.

Cons: I personally don't like their technical support avenues, as they push you to try to use the online documentation first (which can be confusing and technical, especially to somebody not familiar with CRMs), and the fact that extensions can start adding up and get pricey. That alone probably keeps this software out of the hands of small businesses, but they probably are better-suited in
the enterprise world anyhow.

Pros: It is a very intuitive and easy to use platform. Being able to manage your entire client base in one system is a victory for the company and the client. All team members have access to customer information that allows the next level of customer service. The greatest value to us is that you create reports for your future colleagues and for yourself, so you do not have to memorize everything or use Google Drive Also, if you work together at an advantage, this can be useful.

Cons: I think it would be very useful if Salesforce came to provide a demonstration to companies about the tool and the latest features they have. I also think that the forecasting tool could be updated a bit so we can forecast the video and the visibility.

Overall: We use it to track the activity of sales agents and connect to the systems of our customers, which makes our operation very transparent.

Pros: This software is great at displaying information about customers accounts and having it set up so multiple departments in my company can all work at them in different ways with out conflicting with one another. It is very detailed in the information that it displays. Everything is time stamped and is displayed with the users that edit it. Salesforce integrates very well with the other proprietary software we use. It also is very easy to search within Salesforce for more information. for example, It does not matter if you search "Street" or "St." when searching for a customers account you will still find the same information in the search. I like how easy it is to upload documents to Salesforce. I can do it from my computer at work and do it in all of the different categories that our company uses for the different documents we use. After uploading them you can also edit the title and the category at any time from within the list of attachments.

Cons: There are some things I dislike about this program. For example, attachments populate with customers names in the title, but if you attach a document that has a symbol in the name like Mc'Mullin then the attachment on will upload corrupted and you wont be able to download or open them until its uploaded without any symbols. The attachment queue often gets backed up and it may take a few hours for contracts to be uploaded to the account. Though it is excellent at displaying a lot of information it displays it over multiple pages. It is often very difficult for new employees to figure out where all this information is located and can take several months for them to become proficient and find information on their own.

Overall: Lots of information and easy to find accounts. The benefit of finding lots of detailed information about customers and the process of their accounts.

Cons: Coming off of HubSpot, it took me a while to get accustomed to the interface not being as modern/up-to-date. Overall, I believe Salesforce is 10/10 the best option for our sales team to allow for efficiency.

Pros: The ability to see a customers story is absolutely incredible. To know their situation and find out specific information regarding their account in minutes is an incredible tool.

Cons: The down times. There have been some down times that dont tend to last very long, but they always come at the worst of times.

Overall: Customer Tracking

I have been working on Salesforce for around 3 years.

Pros: The flexibility the database offers. It is easy to change it according one's needs. I have been happy with the reporting functionality which I assume is the standout feature of the tool.

Cons: The limitations of the database. Additional access costs a lot of money, password reset is also quite confusing. If I try to reset validation password it resets the test password.

Pros: Everything you need, but a bit on the tricky side to use and show employees how to use. The learning curve is much bigger than other CRM's I've used for my business. However you can get the most statics and analysis with salesforce.

Cons: I found it more intricate to use and a lot harder to implement company wide. After trying with 3 employees and seeing them struggle I gave up and went elsewhere.

Pros: Salesforce.com offers CRM on-the-cloud to manage your customers without investing to hardware and setting up physical infrastructure. Just login and ensure your customer satisfaction.

Cons: The system offers convenient process, it is advisable to follow the offered process instead of adapting your existing company process.

Salesforce is the industry standard CRM - it gets the job done but there is room for improvement.

Pros: It's pretty straightforward to use for finding and tracking our clients. The charts available are hopeful for managing our pipeline and tracking progress.

Cons: Setup was particularly painful - you basically need to hire help if you want to maximize the software. They are also slow to make improvements since their market power is so giant not to mention a pretty high cost.

Pros: It's a great application to hold all of your customer's information, interactions, and contacts. It also integrates with applications like Slack and MailChimp making it easy to share information with your team and track contacts with the customer or client.

Cons: I don't have any complaints with the software. The only thing I don't like is the layout of some pages. Some look busy and other could use more information at a glance.

Pros: How user friendly and versatile it is; also the list of integrated applications is ever growing !!!!

Cons: Some of the functionality we used for our invoice approval workflow was cumbersome in the sense that there were multiple steps needed when really it could have been accomplished in one step, though at the time we were using it for a non standard purpose.

a must have for all companies focused on CRM and elegant digital marketing.

Pros: Ease of use and accessibility is great as it's an online based tool.
The software is great for tracking projects which with IFRS15 is essential.

Standard reporting is also very effective.

Cons: Controls within the system are limited and unfortunately are not "click to add", they have to be programmed. Essentially you will need an expert to manage it.

Overall: Helped incentivise and manage the sales and project teams to ensure goals are met and deadlines are being achieved. Overall it improved the customer experience.

Pros: It's software is robust. Great for large companies. This is a product for Nike, not "my mom's coffee shop".

Cons: It was difficult to find a support representative to help us set up our company's database. It seems they only have sales people and very few talented customer service reps to help set up new customers.

Cons: It's so robust that it makes it difficult to use at times. The pages can be so full and complicated that it's hard to find the information you need/want.

Pros: Most comprehensive sales software...hats down for the team! I mean it has enabled so many people manage sales funnels and everything related...and it never stops amazing you. I can't dream of using anything other than SalesForce...its a force disrupting and challenging the status quo!

Cons: A little complex...well, that's a polite way to put it. When you have used for few years and have installed plugins here and there for instant fixing or something else...weird things will happen. Just recently our leads started auto assigning to team members out of nowhere. Support team (although very efficient and cooperative) were also clueless on why it was happening. And I can imagine why they couldn't figure out the problem...its a hugeee software with too many components, 3rd party plugins that few thing (say once every year or couple of year) are meant to behave weird.

Overall: Optimizing sales cycle, managing marketing campaigns, and everything in between. And there are infinitely many things in between.

Salesforce is our main CRM for converting leads. There's a reason why we've used it for years.

Pros: Salesforce has been a staple in our business for years. It is a very fast and comprehensive system that can store as much information you can receive from a customer/lead. We use this every day to convert leads from our quote forms on our website. Very easy to map fields and we plan on using this as long as we can.

Cons: The only downside was trying to tie it into certain email/marketing tools. While most email campaigns pulled from the Account or Contact fields we pulled from the Opportunity fields because that is where we converted. It would have been very costly to customize the channels through salesforce so they can tie into what we wanted. We eventually found out that icontact could pull from opportunity fields and solved out problem.

Overall: Hands down the best CRM System out there. I have used it for lead converting and for call tracking with talkdesk. Highly recommended

Pros: Coming from RedTail, which was almost primative, Salesforce was a huge step and culture shock for us (in a good way). We realized there was just such a more efficient way to run our business utilizing Salesforce, it one-thousand percent lives up to its reputation. I like that there's so much room to customize it - if we want to add a new field in "Account Type", we can do that - if I want to assign a lead to a team member, I can do that, if I want to track an e-mail or log a call, I can do this as well. At this point in our company, business development and fundraising is mission critical and Salesforce helps us get to where we need to be.

Cons: Unless you're paying for Premium service, speaking to an actual representative for answers can be a bit of a drag. There's no direct customer service line - so if we have a question or need help working our way through a problem, we have to "log a case" through Trailblazer and wait for a call. They push using Trailblazer to find your answers, but sometimes we don't have the time to search and just want to speak with an actual human being, and with Salesforce there's no easy way to do this without first going through their online community.
