The features are so much better than other providers I've seen and the value for the money is great. Pros Software is robust, with many reports available which I really like. Also the customer service has been fantastic. I had a couple questions that were answered promptly via email. Setting up and linking the machines was easy, and inventory management is SO much easier now. Cons Don't really have any nits to pick but if I was being greedy I'd love for the sales figures to be reflected in $ (currently it's just a number, ex: 345 instead of $345), although I understand this company is based in Europe and likely has many non US customers. But it would be cool to select a currency from a drop down, it would make it easier to distinguish between sales numbers and say inventory numbers. The only other feedback I have is it would be cool to be able to edit inventory in the app without having to download a trip from the desktop first. Review Source TK Tiffany K. It's surprising to find an inventory solution that's so robust and with excellent support that's also incredibly affordable. Pros For our business, Vendsoft knocked it out of the park! Starting with just a single machine in one location and then growing to multiple locations and machines, Vendsoft gave us the infrastructure we needed to grow. And, despite being on different continents, Vendsoft customer support was always prompt and incredibly helpful -- above and beyond! Cons A con had been that because our business was in multiple cities, each with their own inventory, we needed to have multiple accounts to maintain clarity. I’ve been using VendSoft for a few months, and I love it. When I first started my vending company I debated on whether to pay for software, or to manually manage everything in spreadsheets. I’m so glad that I opted for VendSoft. VendSoft is a comprehensive solution for all of your tracking needs. It allows you to easily track and analyze real-time data like expenses, purchases, inventory, cost of goods sold, and sales. When tax season approaches, I won’t have to stress and pore over receipts. All I’ll have to do is print out the relevant yearly reports, and send them to my accountant. I can use that valuable time saved to focus on growing my business. It’s worth noting that VendSoft is not only compatible with various telemetry systems, it is also compatible with traditional and some smart vending machines. They recently launched an integration with HaHa smart machines, and I was one of the first users to set up HaHa with VendSoft. The thing that I most like about VendSoft is their customer service. It’s no exaggeration that their customer service is some of the best that I have ever received from any company. Whenever I have had a question their team has always responded very quickly, and usually in less than 1 business day. Their support was especially important to me this week when I set up my new HaHa machine. Pros Responsive customer service. They make you feel like you are their only customer. Easy to navigate. Cons I would like a little more control over the reporting function. It is in my experience, the best overall value out there in Vending Management Software. Pros VendSoft covers everything a Vendor needs to run his company, from Inventory Control, to Machine Control, to Location Control. I am in total control of my accounts when I walk up to my machines to fill them. I use my Iphone or Ipad to keep track of what's in each machine, and to determine what I need from my truck to refill the machine. I could even use Dex data to track what I need to bring with me from my shop. I plan my trips each day using my base computer's VendSoft program, and upload this to my Iphone. When I am done for the day, I just upload the data to my base computer; and all my data is automatically adjusted. There are lots of features I don't use such as invoice writing or product ordering or reports; but I know they are there if ever I need them. If ever there are problems (and this is very rare), \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has always responded right away to fix the problem. I tried several VMS apps before I found VendSoft, and none of them had the scope and ease of use as Vendsoft, and most of them were far more expensive. Cons The only thing I wish could be added, is a simple way to know what I added to a particular Machine item designation the prior week. I know this can be done if you keep track of all the input data, but I don't want to spend the time doing that. I just want to know what I added the last week so I can determine if I need to add more or less this week. This is a minor issue and probably would not be a problem for other Vendors. VendSoft offers connectivity with my machines and cashless payment system so I am able to remotely account for products and sales. This software makes prekitting easy and effective. The purchase, expense and mileage tracking features make filing taxes less of a chore. Pros VendSoft is an ideal application for vending operations of various sizes. The software easily accommodates the addition of more locations, equipment and personnel. Thus this application can serve vending companies in various stages of growth for many years. The available features do not overwhelm the users and I have found it very easy to train new persons quickly. Cons The software lacks custom reporting capability. While the software has a rich set of standard reports that will serve most users, power users and persons comfortable in database operations will want the ability to create custom reports. Reason for choosing VendSoft I started with self-made spreadsheets which proved to be more work with less metrics and analysis. The companion product to my cashless payment system was out of reach pricewise and in fact did not even want to talk to me because my business was not large enough for them. VendSoft however offered immediate accessibility to the features and data that are important to successful vending operations. The team at VendSoft has always been responsive to questions and suggestions and have continually improved their product. It is the continuous development and responsiveness that maintains me as a customer. I would recommend this product whether you have 10 or 5000 machines. Very satisfied. Pros VendSoft is without a doubt one of the best vending management software products available. The inventory management is a breeze and the reporting functions are exceptional. You have everything at your finger tips you need - Inventory management that includes a re-order function, commissions, location and machine management, profit and lost. VendSoft can receive your DEX data too! It really is the full package! Cons Initially the mobile function but that has improved ten fold, it is now one of the best features. Reason for choosing VendSoft I have been in the Vending Industry for over 30 years, I looked at the products but they were mainly focused as the telemetry side of things. VendSoft provides me telemetry but it provides me with the ability to service my routes that meets the demands of my sites. Pros The most important quality I love this software is the value and it's easy navigation through the program. Our company use to operate on a cash to inventory software, and switching over to VendSoft was a little complicated in the beginning ,but as we understood its features it became much easier. We are still working our way through its features but as technology changes so must we. Our company has been in business for 35 years and we feel that VendSoft fits our business model for our organization. Cons We would like to see more reports on certain areas. Manage the entire operations with 1 simple software (except HR). "live" results of operations. Multiple user profiles. Cons Reports are rigid. You need to export to excel if you want to personalize them. No machine learning to call attention on theft. Dashboard not very customizable. If I have any questions or need help with something I shoot out message via the website and I always have a response in less than 12 hours. Pros I like how easy it is to use. Setting up my daily trips, editing them, and filling them out when I am on the road is super easy. It also has a ton of reports that can be pulled so I can see exactly what is selling and what is not at different locations. This greatly assists with deciding what to keep in the machines and what I should swap out. Cons There is really nothing wrong with it. Sometimes it will log me out for some reason and I will have to log back in. One time it did not save the results for an entire trip, but that only happened once so I am inclined to believe that I did something wrong no the software. As our operation grew up we started to look for a software solution to simplify recontrol of our operations. We tried VendSof and found that was suitable for us in three points: 1) Excellent Cost-Benefit ratio. For less than $1.00 a day we have a complete control solution, with predesigned reports and convenient data export to MS Excel capabilities . 2) Seller is constantly upgrading the solution, so we enjoy new and useful features with no aditional cost 3) Customer service is great, good response time and technical support. Pros This Software is always upgrading its functionality. I like that is easy to use and very intuitible. Pros Vendsoft is a complete solution able to track all aspects of my vending business (Inventory, expenses, purchases, sales, machines, locations,reporting, and trips and servicing). Being able to do everything in one place has saved me countless hours. Cons While the reports are comprehensive showing you any aspect of your vending business I wish there were better options for seeing the business at an overview on the homepage. I have yet to find anything at the price they charge that offers both inventory management and route servicing. It might not be the easiest system to get started but it offers substantial value for the cost! Pros It helps me plan what I need for each machine when I go to service them. Quickly shows me what products are selling well and which aren't! Does a decent job of mapping out my routes and calculating how much each location should expect to make. Cons It's not very intuitive. There are lots of vending options included with the system - except the ones I needed, sticker machines and pencil machines. It took me a while to figure out which type of vending machine I could use for my business. And even after 2 years, it's still feels like I'm sometimes using a square peg in a round hole. It's a total inventory/sales/purchases/and even sales taxes solution. It's quite wonderful. One of the customer representative get back to me with answers to questions very quickly. It's a great program with great customer support. Pros I like the mobile app that lets me input my sales row by row. The software then keeps track of my sales by each item, cost of goods sold, and overall sales. It makes "prekitting" lists so I know what to stock my truck with. I made a suggestion to Luben about adding a feature that would make entering "Variety Packs" easier -- and he implemented it right away. Entering purchases is a snap! The program lets you enter you various city's tax rates, and then helps you out a great deal at tax time. You can see your inventory report quite easily and also you can view your sales reports with various filters so you can look at it overall, by location, or by machine. It's great! " October 4, 2017 5.0 Easy tracking and reporting of my business performance. Pros Just about every fascit of this software is great! The reports are informative, The phone app is easy to use. The inventory is simple to set up and a snap to track. Cons This is a hard question to answer, since Customer service has been very good about addressing any concerns I have had quickly. I guess the app could use a little work on the information given and used. 2 such things: Wish it would show a suggested retail value, possibly a purchase per unit to help with pricing in field.
