The tool really helped me manage the devices—even making them faster—since they don't need to load the entire system when handling blocks.

Pros

I particularly like the simplicity of the setup and the wide range of blocking and allowing options.

Cons

Nothing in particular; I don't think I have any points to criticize or add. Everything worked well for me, and I am satisfied with using it.

Overall, I've been really pleased with ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus. It delivers strong value, covers all the core MDM functionality we need, and the support team has been responsive whenever we've run into issues. The minor UI and documentation quirks are easy to overlook given how reliable and capable the core product is. I'd recommend it to any organization looking for a robust, budget-friendly MDM solution.

Pros

What stands out most is how comprehensive the platform is for the price. Device enrollment (especially bulk enrollment) is straightforward, and the ability to manage a mix of Android, iOS, and Windows devices from a single console saves a lot of time. App management and remote troubleshooting features are also excellent - being able to remote control a device to fix an issue on the spot has cut down our support tickets significantly. The reporting and compliance policies are flexible enough to match our internal security requirements without a ton of custom scripting.

Cons

The interface can feel a bit dated and cluttered in places, especially compared to some newer competitors - it takes new admins a little time to find their way around all the menus. Initial setup for more advanced configurations (like custom compliance profiles or integrating with certain third-party tools) could use clearer documentation. Occasionally, syncing status updates from devices lags a bit, though it usually resolves itself within a short time.

Compared to other products on the marketplace this was the only one that later on can also be used with almost no financial impact. This was also key for us, because we were acting for a small NGO. Thanks for that!

Pros

I used ManageEngine to restrict two XCover7 mobile devices to only two websites. Everything that was requested by the team could be implemented using 5 profiles for the devices. I'm pretty pleased that all of that could be realized.

Cons

The only thing I was wondering ist the bubble like entry page for getting to the real UIs for the necessary parameters. But not decisive for me.

I'm sorry that I had to give even one star. Wish I could give ZERO! The worst platform EVER! Convoluted menus, literally impossible navigation, and an inability to modify even basic details such as a user’s email address. A paranoid and idiotic login process that is more excessive than anything found in banking apps, along with pointless, incomprehensible and often confusing procedures. It is also impossible to remove an entire fleet of devices at once, even when, for example, a company sells its existing stock as part of a complete equipment renewal. In 45 years of working in IT, I have never encountered a worse platform! Not even Microsoft, in more than 40 years of history, has ever managed to create a monster like this! NOT RECOMMENDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

Pros

The free trial! There's absolutely nothing I like of this platform! Thanks God it has a free trial. I don't want to think what I'd have done if I had paid a single penny!

Cons

EVERYTHING! There has been nothing that I liked about it! Since the first click to the abandon of it (happaned just 2 days later).

Reasons for choosing ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus

Because an IDIOT told me that it was a very good platform. I had to suppos that it was a bullshit since that idiot is a Microsoft certified!

Overall, it has been a useful tool for managing our mobile devices without adding too much work for IT. It gives us better control over devices used by staff outside the office and makes remote support much easier. It is not perfect, but it has been reliable for our day-to-day needs.

Pros

In our company, we use it mainly to keep company phones and tablets under control across different teams. Being able to configure devices remotely, push apps and settings, and help users without having the device in front of us saves a lot of time. For the price, it covers most of what we need.

Cons

Some settings are harder to find than they should be, especially when creating more specific device profiles. We have also seen occasional delays when pushing changes to devices, which can make troubleshooting a bit frustrating.
