Pros

I enjoyed the ease of which devices can be added and the solution deployed.

Cons

The set-up is slightly complicated, for example to deploy an app - you need to go to three or four different places.

### "Helpfull for unattended Tablets management"

We are starting a project in a Children's Hospital with donated Samsung Tab A during the covid-19 pandemic. Due to confinement limitations children's teachers and entertainers need to work remotely and the tablets need to be configured also remotely. We also need to use the Fence capability to prevent theft of equipment.

Pros

Easy unattended setup for Samsung education tablets. Customization of Play Store really fantastic. High security level and customization for the devices includinf fence and possibility to clean up the devices remotely. Due budget limitations the free version up to 25 devices makes this platform the best option for us.

Cons

Some features ane not intuitive enough, you need to try the initial setup a couple of times to reach the correct way to setup.

The profiles and containers for the devices since this is what defines our management for the different mobile devices, we can restrict access, configure passwords; thus, apply profiles to work accounts and it facilitates a lot of work.

The ideal solution for small companies with just a few devices, as it is very cost-effective. Easy to operate and use even by less tech-savvy people. Many languages ​​are supported.

Pros

We operate in the healthcare sphere, where compliance with HIPPA/HITECH is a MUST. ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus allows me to ensure that all of our mobile devices are compliant with our security and compliance properties. We had been utilizing two separate platforms to achieve our compliance goals, however ManageEngine simplifies the the task with one product.

Cons

I'd like to see some integration with AWS and GSuite for SSO. The ability to scan devices for Electronic Personal Health Records (ePHI) would be welcomed

I am using ManageEngine to control the use of tablets, because we are using cell service to do Remote Patient Monitoring. By have the control of what the user can do with the table allows us to reduce the cost of cellular usage. This on itself is a big help for reducing of the cellular cost to us. We also don't want the tablets to be use for fun and games, we do allow application like Calendar, Notes, Weather, MS office, Dictionary Unit Conversion Application to be used.

Pros

The ease of use and the go to for help on topics are very helpful. This allows to set it up faster, and they have good training and support. The ManageEngine is easy to utilize for our use on our software.

Cons

To enroll a user from a distance takes time to learn, because of the complexity of what we want to do. It take practice to get this part correct.

Our experience was very successful, since it helped us with the following levels: 1- Controlling all our tablets 2- Security 3- Trace and allocate all the devices 4- Inventory with full details 5- Remotely logging into them 6- Pushing new authorized applications 7- Health check for the tablets

well i have one tool that need to be improved , which is being able to control and remotely login to more than one device at the same time. this feature would help us in studying the real behavior of the tablet when we face any issue with software or update.

Pros

UI is quite nice, and most of the functions covered with the standard edition. The pricing is reasonable (cheap) comparing with similar features and product available on the market

Cons

You can not redeploy app or profile to a specific device and you always need to reapply it to a group, even though I guess, device in the group won't take any action if they already applied, it is quite confusing at the beginning.

Pros

The ease of use and simplicity really sets it apart from the competition. We have been using Workspace One for the past 2 years and its been nothing but a struggle, we set up a trial with ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus and had it set up and running in about 20 minutes. We were deploying applications and settings with an easy to use intuitive interface.

Cons

We had some technical issues that were not resolved during our initial trial period. However, we were able to extend the trial and they were able to resolve most of the larger issues. We also found a couple of bugs that were reported to support. Overall support was responsive but there was a delay in getting some of our issues resolved.

We protect our enterprise smartphones with Mobile Device Manager Plus.

Pros

The software is cheap (or free if less than 25 devices) and supports many device types. There are many configuration options, e.g. pushing Exchange configuration or wireless networks. You can even postpone OS updates.

Cons

The software once disabled all apps on a user's device. This was due to a bug in the agent that they push to Android devices. This incident caused a complete loss of user acceptance and a management escalation in our organization.

Within our workforce we have a surplus of iPhones & iPads in the field. This Software allows use to fully control and manage these devices at a cost effective means with a user friendly interface.

Pros

The User interface is very friendly making it easy to navigate from one task to another.

Cons

I have yet to find a con per say, except that there is no supportive chat feature while during remote in.

### "In the vast sea of MDM solutions out there, this one is a winner"

Pros

Compared to other MDM solutions I've tried, this one offers not only many features that you'd expect in any solution like this, but a nice streamlined UI to boot as well. The fact that it also includes support for iOS and Android devices out of the box (also Chromebooks and Windows devices too) is a huge plus, considering that some solutions out there only work for a single platform. That thankfully isn't the case with MobileEngine's solution.

Cons

The only thing I would have to say that I don't like about MobileEngine is that the remote control option is only available for Android devices. My guess is that it has to do with some element of Android that it has that iOS doesn't to allow for that, but it isn't a deal-breaker by any stretch of the imagination.

Extremely robust policy management for all devices. Great for Android and Windows features need more testing. Good knowledge base.

Cons

Interface is a little confusing, but you get used to it. Profiles and Groups can be complicated and takes quite a lot of time to comprehend.
